Has your love for the wmmap characters affected your personal life in any way? for example, has your love for athy made you like the color pink and roses more or something like that?

In my case, I name my pet Athy 🤣 the manhwa has made me like that nickname a lot, I also like "Lilian" or "Diana" more (well, Diana I've liked since Princess Diana and the Goddess. "Jennette" always I hated it for personal reasons and I still think it's a very ugly sounding name and not to mention Penelope sorry but in latam these names are vey ugly)

Hmmm, that's a good question. I've read people say that wmmap has inspired them to connect with their families and develop healthier relationships. As for me, off the top of my head...

Well, for starters, thanks to wmmap I have made a lot of friends, something I'm really grateful for! A lot of cool stuff has happened because of that. It also has made me spend a lot of money lmao. A small price for Athy.

Oh, I picked up writing after literal years! (At a very, very slow pace. Life is very, very busy. But even so!) I truly love writing and reading, so that has been really rewarding.

I've always liked pink and blonde characters though, so that's nothing new lmao. If anything, Athy is just my type of character, in a lot of senses.

Ah. Sometimes I accidently call my cat "Lucas" when he is up to no good. If I ever adopt another cat, I should name him Lucas...

And not exactly what you were asking but, unsurprisingly, I have Athy as my phone's wallpaper, and every single person that sees her says she is really cute. Athy is objectively the most beautiful being to ever exist, after all.

it’s really funny that the broadway adaptation of anastasia did away with the whole part where the Russian revolution was rasputin (in this universe he’s an undying lich)’s plot of revenge against the unambiguously good romanovs. And instead just had their protagonist embrace that her family were tyrants responsible for famine and poverty across their empire. Like it almost works because she later quietly renounces her name and all the wealth and political implications that came with it to live a simple life with the man she loved so you could squint at it and think she might have learned not to place her decadent dead relatives on a pedestal. Oh but we can’t go reckoning with ideology in a Broadway show so Gleb has to be an obsessive incel instead of just a committed Soviet loyalist who doesn’t want to see a revival of the Romanovs and Anastasia chooses to leave her crown buried in the past for the sake of love and not because she at all reckoned with what her family was responsible for.

i'm going to make a different post about dorian because felis has literally consumed MONTHS of my time

alright, so felis (genderfluid, goes by he/she, amab) is a former child actor who grew up rather lonely, having only one real friend, rudy. because he grew up just acting and interacting with fans, he learned to just fake emotions and pretending to care about people because physically could not make those emotional connections to others since he was not raised to.

in school, people wanted to be close to him only because they were interested in the clout they could get, so he became reserved and avoided people, including his Actual friend, who still kept chasing after him because they were worried. one day, he was super frustrated and lashed out at them. someone was recording, and got a video of him slapping rudy and posted it on social media. felis blamed rudy for ruining his career and shut people out entirely.

(that was all. before the events of the actual story aksjdkdkdndnn ANYWAY) so the real story begins when rudy reaches out to felis when they're both meant to go to college, asking her to go meet them one last time in a forest where they used to play as kids as one final attempt to make amends. she begrudgingly agrees to go, and they wind up fighting again and falling into a "rabbit hole" (rift in space) and getting seperated in another dimension. (oh my god they divorced so hard they got isekai'd)

they end up split up in the new world, and felis winds up in a bake shop and meeting a pair of elven siblings named clementine and lemon, who take him into the city to ask around for ways to get back home. when he gets there, he is chased around by an eccentric poet, lillos, who recognized him from a dvd of a movie that he acted in as a child.

lillos reveals that he has a collection of oddities from the human realm and offers to take felis to the site where he found these things. together, they set out for the rift between realms, constantly getting detoured by royal guards protecting the rift, bounty hunters who had never seen a human before (and immediately decided that they must be worth a lot), seemingly-natural disasters, and more. they also have to find rudy (who is on a completely different set of adventures).

in the end, felis rekindles her relationship with rudy, figures out the meaning of love and friendship, and finds her way back home where she belongs. wahoo love wins!!

anyways um actual personality blurb now SORRY... so felis is sort of stand-offish and rude. she's quick to correct or reprimand anything she doesn't like. she doesn't really smile or laugh much outside of acting. she's usually proper and poised, but she's known to get violent or snap when she's stressed. she's very opinionated and critical of others. when she's losing an argument, she gets quiet and sulky. she's got very low empathy and is bored with conversation most of the time, so she is somewhat avoidant of talking to most people. SHE DOES GET BETTER ABOUT INTERACTING WITH PEOPLE... and she does learn to apolgize and take responsibility for her own actions and stuff. she can also be polite and knows when to be quiet.

Petra's parents were actually some of the few left behind in Arlem when they evacuated half the villagers to Sanctuary. They are not Demi-human.

But yes, in that loop with Elsa, petra's eyes were intentionally gouged out it seems. Might have been one of Roswaal's instructions? It was never eluded to again unfortunately.

But in a semi-related note, the Tanpenshuu version of the short story of Golden Siblings was liveblogged today and there was a TON of differences from the Comic Alive version. It's a pretty good read for between Arc 4 and 5.
