Sooooo I found some pretty great Spirk content a few minutes ago. It's from Star Trek Into Darkness. Admittedly a kind of heavy scene that I pulled these screengrabs from but that's okay. Spirk is Spirk.

Jim gets to his feet entirely on his own when he gets up to walk away from Admiral Pike. He doesn't touch Spock until he's already standing.

And look at how softly he is touching Spock as well😭😭😭

What does this touch mean? Is he trying to comfort Spock?? Or is he trying to ground himself in the presence of his person, and in the knowledge that Pike wasn't alone??
