Denna let out a cry of joy as the ship crested over a wave and hut the end of it with a hard think. The wind was causing their vessel to speed quickly across the ocean as she and Kwynn headed south to attend a wedding in the neck. The banner of House Ceallach, a white raven on a black banner, sailed above on the mast. Her wife, the Lady Ceallach was busily speaking to the captain as they were only perhaps a few miles before making port.
House of the Dragon S1E8 "The Lord of the Tides". We open with the Lord of Hightide injured from fighting in the Stepstones. Vaemond seems intent on taking it from his own family. Rhaena stands beside Rhaenys as she sits the Driftwood throne. I like how there is still succession debates going on among the Houses of the Blackwater Rush. Is it a Valyrian trait to turn on family; I wonder how they plan on introducing the next Lord of Driftmark, Alyn Hull aka Velaryon. The King tries to focus on the happy as Alicent prays for lord Vaemond. They toast Lucaerys as everyone else including Aegon the fuckwad decides to be a fuckboy. Seriously, that little rapist would reserve the death he gets later. Switching to Dragonstone we see that new fortifications have been built on the great fortress as we zone in on the firemount for some reason. Deep within a crevasse, we see someone stealing a Dragon Egg? It's Daemon he pries the egg from a strange almost dragonglass-made nest. Daemon seems happy about the new eggs as he receives a message from his daughter. Grown-up Jacaerys definitely is lighter in hair than his younger self, as he practices High Valyrian over Aegon's epic table. He is dismissed as Daemon enters to give information to hise Niece-Wife, about the ongoing turmoil of Hightide. Vaemond's own action makes me think he's been causing more problems as we see the Strong Children getting their status questioned. Honestly, I wouldn't put it past Lord Otto to play up the bullshit. The Velaryon-Targs make their arrival back in King's Landing where they hope to put aside ongoing issues with Lady Rhaenys. THey are welcomed by no one, the Queen isn't there (way to go Ali-Karen) and a person pops up without notice. Inside the Red Keep is silent, everything is darker as there's more evidence of the Seven. The typical bullshit of the Andals as many of the Valyrian accouterments have been removed. The Queen Wears a seven-pointed star like it's a fucking shield on her as we see the Greens are trying further to attack the kids. It would have been less outward about it. Sir Erryk alerts the Queen to what we will find out is Aegon being a raper (and her being a total White Karen and pushing to cover it up). Rhae enters her father's chambers with Damon as they are much darker and more forlorn than before. Viserys' illness has spread farther than before. The right of his face is almost entirely bandaged as only his nose is left free. WE can see that the King is fading, Daemon informs the King of the Sea Snakes fall in battle. When Daemon pushes the King seemingly just repeats it. WHen he meets the youngest boys including Visery II and Aegon III, his stuttering scares the children. I mean they are kids. In the Queen's presence the girl is crying, her face roughed and ruffled I am they didn't fucking show us the actual scene. The aftermath is all we need when it comes to the GoT TV series' history of treating women. She tells him how she asked him to stop and the Queen appears to have some mercy for the girl. Some sympathy but honestly, as I watch I know it's all fucking fake. Alicent proceeds to basically threaten the shit out of the girl showcasing that she's not just a bad mother, but also a terrible Queen! She even pays the girl off like a fucking Corporate HR Karen. This scene is so seriously horrific as the girl is forced under duress to drink Moontea to abort the child. So, wow, I really wished they didn't have this, but I will say this Alicent is trying. The soon to be future King as he's ignoring everything all the Queen can do is strike him. Yup, this is a real Bateman hotel. He's ignoring Helaena, and then he tries to whine about how the world is so hard. Helaena pops up and being the just pure soul she is asks for Dyana to watch the kids. Her walk in to speak to Alicent ends as predictably as it could. The Strong Lads head out to the training yard dressed in dark cloaks as befitting their status as scions of House Targaryen. They discuss their current status as Aemond being a total badass in the fighting ring faces off against Sir Criston. Aemond is just so fucking unhinged as he asks his Nephews if they wish to train. In the situation pops Vaemond who is here to be the pissant he is and we prepare as the Lord of the Tides is to be decided. Otto does it all under the guise of putting a child in command. This could easily be decided by Rhaenys standing as a fucking Regent. She has served with her husband and we know Daemon is also a battle-ready fighter. Whatever it is, we travel to the Godswood where Rhaena leads in Rhae to speak to her family. Rhae is right that Rhaenys is there to proclaim herself. Laenor is still alive, and we know Rhae hatched the scheme to let him fuck off under the lie of being dead. It makes me wonder how Rhaenys come to side with the Black Council if she's just going to ignore shit. The Hightowers are going to pry away at Rhae for her status and for her children. We know that Laenor tried to have sex with her, but gave up for his own boundaries. SO she turned to someone to help and that was sir Harwin Strong. If Larys had not broken his family apart as a fucking Kinslayer the Strongs would have been there to back the Black Council. Rhae pops up in the night to speak to her father about the "Song of Ice and FIre". The writers here are leaning hard into more Dreamer work, but we know that Aemond's future came true. Rhae admits she likely didn't really want to lead the kingdom, she's lost a lot here. How all of the ongoing weight of the future and her desire to rule are so damn overpowering. Watching Rhae beg her father is so fucking heartbreaking. She is trying so hard, but her former best friend and her father are tearing it all apart. And the King can do nothing because he's falling apart from his own illness.
Valar Morghulis. As he is wrapped again by the Maesters he speaks to Otto as he calls for supper in the redkeep. He wants his family, his fading vision of family unification, to be somewhat true, even for a moment. As he taken back to bed we see sores covering his body as a shadow of the Seven paints the room. Back in the throne room Otto stands before the chair facing toward those issue and sits upon it. THe fool. Vaemond is up, he goes with the History, and goes on his purist bullshit. The Velaryons have married into the Targs enough for both Houses to have a healthy CLaim. I mean that he pushes harder on declaring the Strong Kids as illegitimate. Rhae's argument begins as someone else, the King enters, and he's hobbling worse than Maester Aemond is. Half is face is masked in gold much like Baldwin IV of Jerusalem. His walk to the Iron Throne is painful as he glances between his wife, brother, sons, grandchildren and his daughter. He basically tells Otto he's there to sit, even in pain, he will sit the Throne. Valar Dohaeris. Bearing down on his cane he is helped up by his brother who for once seems above his own bullshit in this scene. Daemon picks up his brother and the Crown and settles Viserys into the Iron Thone. Excellent acting done by Paddy Considine. THe King's actions here will mean that Vaemond get's set aside, and so does Luke. Baela sits with the Strong Kids, she mentions the fucking marriage agreement. But this seems like a nice build up as Lord Vaemond decides to go full on bullshit. He throws a tantrum and decides to argue with the King. He is about to say it when we see that Daemon is about to go stepdad on his ass and murder the fucker. He calls it out before the King. and insults the heir-apparent of the Seven Kingdoms. And as the king calls for his tongue he beheads Vaemond using Dark Sister. I will be honest, this was an epic as fuck scene, as Lord Rhaenys sits over the body of Vaemond is prepared for funeral. Rhaenys speaks of the STranger, of how Death has haunted her House too much recently. First her daughter, then her goodbrother. Laenor is not included since he was willing to traumatize his family to fuck off. Yes, I get it he wanted to go do his shit, but he left his mother with a lie instead of at least a clue. "It both gladdens my heart and fills it with sorrow." He makes a point at going straight for the jugular at the division of the Hightower and Velaryon Targaryens. He removes his mask to showcase the damage done to his face by the disease that has been eating at him. Valar Morghulis, the king shows him his true face. He's trying so hard for his family to not continue this bullshit. If only Alicent would -just- let shit go. He -begs- them to let it go, and we can see that Alicent is filled with emotion. Which will result as Rhae gives Alicent a compliment, and apology. Rhaena tosses the woman another fucking olive branch, one that could have ended all of this. ALL OF THIS. She admits that Rhae will make a fine Queen, but there's Otto in the background ready to stir shit again. Can someone just off or detongue the bastard. Aegon is a literally drunken fool, and Aemond is a war-weary asshole.  And Aegon decides to insult to injury and Jace stands like a man. He could apologize for attacking Aemond (which would have done nothing, but made him appear the bigger person). He did the smart thing though in not playing to Aegon's childishness. Helaena pops up and talks about how horrible her husband is and this was great. Aegon deserve to be eaten by a fucking Dragon as Jace walks off to be with Helaena. This is a pairing that should have happened, but no Karen Queen had to push them together. The family seems happy hear at least a little bit, Aegon is a fuckwad who should be gelded. Rhae is smiling even Aegon is happy as is the Queen. For a night, the King gets his dream, a family without stsrife, but this is a false narrative. He is dying, we can see as the pain begins to take him and Daemon watches. Aemond decides to open his fucking mouth, decides to level another insult, he decides. Alicent is trying at this point, we can see that it is now the generational feud that is spreading now. She says she will return on Dragonback, but I don't think the Princess will return. We switch to the dark of the Keep as music plays in the background. Someone is stalking somewhere in the night. Is this Daemon visiting the White Worm. No it is someone else. We sweep into the King's bedroom where he is struggling with the pain of his illness. I do rail against ALicent, but the woman IS trying. She is dealing with a father who encourages her to cover up and not actually deal with her sons problem. She is surrounded by men who have pushed her into this situation. And she is in a marriage where her husband is a walking corpse. In his throws of pain he speaks of the prophecy of the Song, and he eventually pushes ALicent into a position which is foolish. If anyone writes a good Alaenyra story giving Rhae and her a good start I will jump on that bitch fast! Alicent leaves her husbands room after hearing his rambling as she thinks he wants Aegon to succeed. Knowing nothing of what he meant she will take this as the King Breathe's his very last it seems. He tears up, seeing how the ravages of his future will result in the death of his line mayhap. Thus the King died, Long LIve King Aegon II and thus came the Dance of Dragons. Gay Canon Damn, like seriously damn, I have some really good ideas involving a few characters here. I wanna say that once I finish up some work I will be dabbling in an Alaenyra story for next season. A sort of spite to the fuckery that is the sexism of Westeros. I want to be clear, this is me spiting what Weiss and Benioff did to a sound storyline. I like what HoTD is doing, I think it has a solid story in its hand. At the same time I want to take in hand what I think could have been a take on the Targs not descending into the sickening rot that will become of their future Kin. Hottakes The Driftwood Throne is pretty bamf.
Thank gods they didn't actually show us that gender violence scene.
I like how they are playing up Aemond as a childish almost sociopathic clone of Daemon. The stand off near the end mirrors their ended together well above the Gods Eye.
This show is really doing a good job as expressing and showcasing generational trauma.
Helaena is fucking precious.
All of these time skips are fucking with my head.
They say only four seasons, I would have made it six with fewer time skips.

Her wife faced her, the woman from Dorne was a stranger in the far north, but they loved each other. An Yronwood by blood, her dark skin stood out against the snows of late summer. And yet, the two of them loved the far north. Smiling, the heir of Wolf's Tooth walked the edge of the massive blackwater fjord of her home. In full leather armor and with the sable fur around her shoulders she was a far different sight than her Dornish bride. "I am still unsure in this new land, " Lady Denna spoke, they had know each other for years, and still the marriage was new. Qwynn let out a chuckle, "when we finish our fleet and sail to the far west things will change." "I would make a very fitting next Sea Snake," Denna replied.
House of the Dragon S1SE6, "The Princess and The Queen", at least ten to five and ten years have passed. Rhaenys now lives as the heir to the realm and ALicent a Queen properly. A dynamic which will form the Black and Green Council, the competing factions to the Lancasters and Yorks of the War of the Roses. We open again as the blood of the Targaryen Dynasty, their rises and fall before us in the opening. The literal blood of Dragons as the last Dragonlord House fights itself. Quite poetic, which reminds me I need to get Fire & Blood, so I know this story better! "By Fire and Blood." From a black screen we hear the groaning of a woman in childbirth. Rhae has given birth to her third child it appears (yes I researched the timeskip to get it accurate). Almost like Aemma the new actress brings new life into this world which brings Aemma's words to her daughter in episode 1 all more real. A beautiful strong baby to join the Dance later on. We fin dout that the Queen has called for the new baby so like the proper petty bitch she is Rhae does it herself. Seriously, ALicent and Rhae are rightfully petty to each other. What fucking clout and pettines do you have to have to walk POST BIRTH to deliver your baby to a petty ass noble. Seriously, this girl has fucking strength! Laenor pops up happy for a healthy baby and we can see he is a caring husband. And he asks the stupid question if fucking childbirth is painful. I love how she's a stubborn ass about doing it herself. She is shaming everyone for letting this happen. SHe' the fucking Crown Princess and yet they are letting the Queen do this. Cole pops up at the door being a fuckboy, and we get to see the modern Alicent, which is different. I'm still use to the younger actresses, but I do like Viserys comes out happy to see his. Both the Queen and the King seemingly ignore the Princess and just take the baby. Which is kind of messed up. And, of course, the Queen gets a jab in how the baby doesn't look like him. Laenor just naming the Kid Joffrey has brought a problem. And we see that Harwin has fathered the Queen's sons. Dammit, these Strongs have really got their hands into the Kingdom. Larys sits as the Master of Whispers and LIonel was fucking Hand. A young dragonling is brought before the Targaryen kids. We see the White Hair Aegon II and Helaeno along with Prince Jaecerys. And oh shit it's Aemond not Helaena.  They bring a pig out for Aemond which is stupid, since the boy will ride Vhagar. The fact that the two Aegons are fucking with young Aemond shoes how sad it will be when they kill each other. And, the foolish child decides he's going to delve into the fucking Dragon pit. Note dragons CAN CARVE through stone to make tunnels. So this is beyond foolish. He ventures inside and out comes a fairly large Dragon, its mouth filled with flame. He runs in fear and we switch to Alicent speaking to her daughter? It does appear to be Helaena, the tragic future queen. She has a fascination with bugs which is a nice little quirk. "He'll have to close an eye." So Helaena likely has the dragondreamer power, since Aemond will lose his eye in the Dance. The queen brings Viserys up the fact that none of the kids Rhae has had is a Velaryon. None of them are true, but I want to point out, that it doesn't matter. They have the blood of the Dragon, does it matter? Criston decides to listen to the Queen and we all know he's just a spurned lover. We can see here that really Alicent resents Rhae, who flaunts her sexuality like mother fucking Daemon. And then we get a scene with Aegon fapping out a window to his mom popping up. Yeah, she's definitely so fucking fixated on this, on how Rhae will spite them. Well, it could happen, because Viserys and Otto handled this all VERY FUCKING BADLY. We split to Caraxes flying above what appears to be Dragon Stone, as massive Dragon flies over him. Vhagar, the future dragon of Aemond. Seems that Daemon and his family has come Pentos. To be offered a separate land for themselves. A place where they could be away from the Velaryons and Westeros. It would be smart to set apart, a way be free of them. Laea doesn't want it, but we can see Daemon is considering it. It does seem they do keep counsel with each other. Seems Daemon has yet to really mature, he's still a fuck boy. Back in Westeros in the Redkeep we see Aemond and Jaecerys training. Cole is the one doing the training and we see how he is foolishly. Aegon eyes a servant girl, ah great another Daemon, as Harwin strong comes out to watch his kids. Yeah, Lyonel has done really well for his family. Watching, we see Cirston pitting Aegon against Jacaerys, which he will do later on. Aegon quickly over powers Jacerys since he's a fucking boy. Jace comes back him with fury swinging wildly, but his fury seems to easily overraw the Prince. We can see that they are accusing Harwin of adultery and he decides to punch the shit out of Cole. Who deserves it like the little whiny spurned bitch he is. So he's the Incel Knight, and as Rhae comes to see Harwin she hears how Lionel is aware of it all. You can tell she is emotional and is aware something is about to change. As she tries to rest Rhaenor and Laenor bursts in with some dude named Qarl. We can tell that she's trying to listen to him. HIs story has him wanting to head off to war again. She calls on him on his actions and they begin to argue. She talks bout how those are his sons and he calls her out. It appears their sham of a marriage appears to be over since they cannot keep the rumors at bay for long. ANd suddenly we go to Rhaena (SO MANY RHAES IN THIS SERIES) besotted that she doesn't have a dragon. Laena tries to calm her and goes out to a lonely Daemon and they talk about the Princess' offer. WE can see that Laena really wants to be with him. THe man is obviously unsure, and desperately wants to head back to Westeros. We switch back to Rhae who is listening to the small council discuss the Brack and Blackwood feud. We here how the Triarchy is rearing its head again and we can obviously see that Rhaenyra isn't happy. She offers a dragon egg to Alicent after an apology and of course she lactates through her shirt. Alicent has reserved herself to the foolish notion that she cannot cool this problem. Honestly, if both of the women talked about I could see her being honest about how she feels saddled with the King. Lord Lyonel enters to speak to the King to resign and we can see the King does not want the Hand to quit. Lyon speaks of a Shadow, and he admits he cannot speak of the Shadow. Harwin is to be taken from COurt and we can see the QUeen wants it to be known. That her old friend has been having "Bastards" and her children should reign above. Heading back to her chambers she takes Counsel with Larys strong about what is going on. It is a tad strange the Queen is sitting with the Master of Whispers. This is obviously the action that has been building the so called "Green Council" faction which will stand against Rhae. He starts to discuss everything before smartly ending his words as a servant appears. This makes me think that Lyonel has some unseen contempt with his own father. The Queen speaks of how her father would have been in her corner. We bear down into what appears to be a gaol and it seems that the Lord of Whispers wants a favor as he names the various men and we see a very graphic scene of a man's tongue being cut open. In Pentos Laena is about to give birth to her baby, Baela, Daemon hovers nearby indifferent. This makes me wonder how are the two feeling. THe doctor speaks to the Prince if he'd consider a c-section. Daemon does not want it, and we see Laena wander outside later to Vhagar. She calls for Dcracrys as the massive Dragon actively refuses to follow the command.  He then burns her alive in front of Vhagar who has demanded it. It kills me, another woman killed to further the story of how women are treated terribly in WESTEROS. Now, we find Harwin speaking to his son and the Princess waches. Switching back to Laenor sparring in the yar with Qarl. The Princess tells Laenor to bring the man along. They are leaving for Dragonstone, the Queen is set on undermining the Princess' status. The Sons of Viserys seemingly stand against her own children. Meanwhile, as Lyonel takes Harwin back to Harrenhal we see that the tongue-cut have come for House Strong. THeir doors are locked and a massive fire breaks out as both men die in the last burning of Harrenhal. Another Great House taken as the cadet line of House Targaryen flees. We hear Larys calling children a weakness. Viserys stares at his fingers as rats have popped into his room. His own illness seemingly coming from the shadows to take him. Larys continues his narration as people claw at the ashen remains of Harrenhal. The tongue-cut flee into the shadows like the rat does. We then find ourselves seeing the burning form of Laenor as Baela and Rhaena sob. Their father walks away in shame and sorrow. We switch back to Larys s he speaks to the Queen. This man is more deadly than LIttlefinger it seems, and just as treacherous as he feeds the Queen's paranoia. She tells him she didn't want it, but she can tell Larys did it as leverage against her. This man shows his dangerous nature to gain power in the throne. A Kinslayer walks the halls of the Red Keep. Gay Canon I'd really like to seem some great stories with Alicent topping Rhae, just cuz that's what's in my head. I have ises more for a Dragonrider Alicent story using some GEMD theories from Lightbringer. Hottakes
Knights of the Incel Guard.
The King is obviously TRYING to keep his shit.
Aegon is a fucking prat and him fapping out a window is disgusting.
Larys is obviously feeding the Queen's paranoia so he can form a power bloc with Lord Otto.
Seriously, FUCK Criston for attacking a child.
Harwin beating the Incel KNight was the best part of this season.
Fuck Larys and Alicent for killing the Strongs, Lyonel was a master Hand.
I wanna say that Laenor getting to fuck about with Qarl is a nice change of page.
This series really pushes how WEsteros considers women to be fucking disposable.
Queen Alysanne would be appalled at what has become of her family at seeing what her husband decided.
Laena's story was -appalling-, but less appalling than what happened in the books.

She removed the gambeson hastily as her father called her name. "Qwynn come!" she sang in Old Tongue as she trailed forward, stripped to the undershirt of her armor. Long fiery hair tied back in a long braid swished as she walked.
"Yes father?"
HoD Episode 2 "The Rogue Prince", ah yes, a nice new opening we get of the blood of Old Valyria. The strange little mechanisms bleeding is interesting which makes me wonder what this all is. Is this the blood spilled by the Great Lords? Who knows.
We open on the images of bodies given to the crabs. Men tied down along the brakish water to be killed by the Prince Admiral of the Triarchy. A seriously fucking gruesome image. We are still viewing young Rhaenyra so we have not jumped far into the future just yet. WE learn that a member of the KIngsguard has died and we see an open for Ser Criston Cole.
Corlys storms in and demands a War with the Stepstones. Is this another Ninepenny King? Seems a year has passed since Daemon was sent away and a certain young Princess became heir. Rhae (yup fuck it I'm shortening her name) suggest using Dragongriders. But nope the men skirt her out of the room with the Lord Commander.
Yup fuck the misogyny of Westeros!
The Lord Hand pops up as they see as Hand appears. And up pops Criston Cole, and we can see the Princess making the mistake that will take her crown. Oooh so we can more in show lore the capital including one of the Fourteen Flames it seems. And we can see how Alicent is being pushed into Viserys' chambers. And, she appears to be trying to hep Viserys with his daughter.
"They wouldn't understand them." Yes, that the Hand is basically selling his daughter off for power, yes!
Alicent and Rhae are drifting apart, and we can see how Rhaenyra's trust in her father's oath of her being heir is maybe a lie. WE come to the Great Sept, and here we see an early form of what will become a massive explosion of alchemic fire in GoT!
The prayer scene has definite gay overtones. I see two women who have a strong bond which will be broken by shitty Lords. Viserys then meets with the Velaryons and Corlys apologizes for his words. Rhaenys is again popping in and out. Heh, love how Vtays is such an ineffective King. But the suggestion to marry sees how we will notice that Viserys pain and indecision is the result of not necessarily a weak man. Here before us is an example of how the Valyria Dragonlords kept the "purity of blood" (Tojous Pur). Viserys later has dinner with his daughter and we can see the divide left by thee Queen's death.
Rhae tries to speak to her father about the Small Council and he dismisses her. Good job there ye fool. Now zapping to the to the King and we see how some sort of "rot" is killing him. Strangely enough we get a man having his gangrenous flesh eating by larvae. Cool. The King mentions Corlys'  plan to marry and the Grand Maester backs it. We see that this Council is scheming something. I still see the second Hightower son trying to get his direct control of House Valyrian. Switching back to the Velaryon family we see Laena who is - a fucking child. And we get a story about Baelerion and about Old Valyria. Damn, he walks away and gives me more respect. And still, the Queen is still appearing in scene.
Rhaenys seemingly tears in Rhae about her truth. That she will get set the truth of her reality. Like Empress Mathilde, she was to be set aside as soon as a new heir can be given. Speaking Alice, Viserys seems to be starting to like the girl more and more. The way women were so bound to the will of men, and were in times offered so few opportunities but to use them through marriage. And up pops a Lord Hightower.
And the hand and Alicent share a look. Now we see how Daemon is deciding to be a dick after taking Caraxes and suddenly decides to take Mysaria to Wife. The hand is dressing for War, and we can see that she's hurting her self.
Now, on Dragon stone, a massive sea fortress on an island maybe only slightly smaller than Old Wyk. Mists surround the men as the travel the causeway that leads to the upper keep. Daemon is playing his Fuckboy self. The Hand appears set on provoking the Prince and then to comes Caraxes. I really do like how Dragons each have unique sounds. Rhae shows up on Syrax and lands thus behind the Kings Guard. Next she is challenging him in Valyria and I think Mysaria got the context. Damn the girl has moxy of steel. She challenges Daemon to strike her down and he walks away, and tosses her the egg. I wonder if it was here that the Hand realizes he should be backing the girl instead of tossing his daughter at the King.
Fuckboy walks off to speak to Mysaria. Who decides to lay it all on the table and promptly flattens little Daemon's hopes. The King is basically given the TLDR from the Small Councilor and he is told to marry Laena. Rhae rides in all nice (she rode in dirty on Dragonstone). Viserys awakes the next day thinking of a solution. Something to secure his line and hopefully strengthen the throne. Viserys takes Lady Alicent and suddenly Rhae sees the betrayal from her best friend Here comes the divide with Lord Corlys and dammit. This is where we see that wedge between the future Blacks and Greens, and see the Dances of Dragons itself. Yes, and we end the episode with Corlys speaking to Daemon.
To go after the Crabfeeder and to gain the honor of the Six Kingdoms. And thus we get a new war which will set of a series of events ending with the Ninepenny Kings.
Gay Tension
Seriously, seeing Alicent pushed up there by her father really makes me want a star crossed story with her and Rhaenyra. We need more female main characters in this story as well.
Hottakes
The Targaryen and Velaryon wigs are a tad - bad. Like seriously.
Heh, Daemon is such a fuck boy.
I like the extended lore on the Valyrian Freehold's capital, the Anorgion as a sort of massive multi-house fortress is bamf.
The idea of the Velaryons as lowly fisher lords is hilarious. MANY of their line married the Targaryens.
Which dragon was Aemmas? She has the hair which makes me think

She frowned, the noseguard of her helm was bent from battle and obscured her vision. Even worse was the blood leaking into her mouth from the cut on her cheek. "What is you wish to say to me, My Lord?" The old man glanced at her and shrugged. "Kwyn, an Iron Born raid struck the west recently. Your cousins Lisbeth and Ryan were slain, I just wanted to tell you first." The young redhead grit her teeth and swore quietly to the Old Gods, that soon a sacrifice of blood would be hung in the Gods Wood upon the Weirwood.
Out of no where we decide to watch Episode 3 "Second of HIs Name" of House of the Dragon.
We open to several pirates following the Crabfeeder as they burn a ship from the Velaryon. Prince Drahar of the Triarchy stakes a man by his hands as he's insulted. Suddenly a dragon comes out of the swirling sky above and Carxes begins his assault while stomping on the poor bastard being eaten by crabs. Hundreds of Free Cities soldiers burn as the prince takes his vengeance. Even the caves appear in danger as the dragon's fire finds all it touches. Daemon is hurt in battle by a fire arrow and forces Caraxes to flee. Three year have passed since the War in the Step Stones has come, so it's been two years since we saw everyone in Episode 2. We appear to see that Aegon II has been born as a son of Alicent and Aemon has found some happiness in his family. I really like how Caraxes is very long and snake-like compared to some of the other dragons. It also appears that he felt the attack on Daemon. Back in the Redkeep the King is celebrating at a massive feast. The new Crown Heir (which will be decerned in the coming years) Aegon the Second is two years old. The Grand Maest and Hand speak about the fact of a Male Heir. Lord Lannist interrupts with stories from the steptones as the King ignores it. Yu, Viserys the fucking trying to keep his shit together. Criston Cole has definitely aged with longer hair and a more evident beard. Alicent Pregnant again as Rhaenyra reads in her family's godswood. Alicent goes out to find her former friend ignoring the festivities while reading. The Princess and Queen are certainly at odds, Rhae ignores the wish to join the hunt. Dammit, Viserys really is letting things fall apart. He should definitely be finding a better way to situate his kids. She makes a point that the king is basically celebrating his lost child of Aemma and likely can't make up his mind on how to treat Rhae as the heir. His adisors by this time might have even argued him into almost changing his mind soon about the succession. Our massive wheelhouse arrives at the grounds for the hunt at the Kingswood, and yes. They are kind of ignoring Rhae here. She herself likely has hadn't formed any bond with Aegon and thus there's that as a problem as well. I think that this really shows how the King himself was while a man trying he kind of fucked up royally with his family. Oh and the Princess burns lady Redwyne, seriously I don't like the Redwynes much. Heh and one of the Lion's approaches the Dragon and we get a interestingly witty man with some of the prettiness of Jaime. Just not as good hair. Oh he seems to be trying to tame Rhae, and we can see he's not very good at it. It's a bit to forward and I did like her shushing him. He informs her she has to marry. The hand seemingly defuses the argument, but we can see that the Princess has left. Sir Cole breaks his post and rides after her in a furry. Deep in to the Kingswood and at a hard pace. She is stopped by Criston Cole who catches her and eventually offers to kill him as a joke. I wonder why he changes his mind as he supports her. They both seem to be fine checking out the Kingswood. Walking their horses along as they speak of Cole's background. The hunt gather's for the Prince's nameday. Otto lays on the support for his part of the line to inherit thick. And we switch to Viserys sitting alone atop his little throne as Jason who appears to be in on the Hand's schemes. He pushes the idea of himself marry Rhae. He decides to fuck up, insinuating that Aegon would become King. And the King decides to step up and shu these fuckers up who want to continue their misogyny. Fucking Andals. Godsdamn it could a while. Otto slyly suggest that Rhae marry's Prince Aegon. Yup, marry the two year old to the fucking seventeer year old. Heh, I love how this mand just pushed a boundary. I am curious how Laeron will play into this.We watch as the King sees his subjects and their push for Aegon and their mockery of his family. He falls into a drunken stupor to what appears to be deafen the dpression of his life. Even seeing his son and pregnant wife doesn't appear to help. Lyonel steps up and we can see he's likely aligned with House Velaryon. It's not a bad idea as both Houses -have- Dragons. Rhaenys rides a dragon as will her two children. More dragonseed means more riders and a stronger fucking Targaryen line. Side Note: This really to me shows how if the Targaryens had followed with a more traditional British set up of peerage having each non-Heir having separate inheritance might have worked. First. Cadet branches spread the blood about and prevent inbreeding and establish back up if one dies. Plus, in a way they could have used their own Dragon's to decide perhaps for who was heir. The most Dragonriders of a parent = the strongest Dragon mayhap. Switching back to Criston and Rhae, we see the Horses are spooked. Cole takes his sword as he creeps away from the fire.I'm calling it white hart! And it's just a boar. ONe big enough to gore Ser Criston and Rhae. Criston ends the fucking thing and I think Rhae get's a bit of a wake up on how dangerous shit is. And, the girl's pain in her family is taken out on the pig. So, hello misplaced progress and mince pork. Here we see how the King's Dream for a son have caused problems. And he sees how his remarrying has brought more anguish. His Dream and fixation killed his wife and Baelon. We see Alicent is seemingly trying to be supportive of both her husband and her former best friend. He comes out for the last of the hunt to see the stag restrained in place for him to kill. Viserys appears reduction and then decides to kill the creature. His blow doesn't end it though and he watches it in pain only to hesitate. The killing blog pushes the creature over as his screeches its last. We see Rhae standing on a cliff overlooking the Kingswood and she sees the White Hart. A massive elk of pure white color who comes towards her. This seems to infer in fact she is the True Heir the Gods seek to wear the Iron Crown. She brings home her kill with Ser Cole and everyone witnesses the blood covered Queen. Her body mussed and messed up, but we see that she's walking high. Directly past the King and then we return to the Red Keep. Otto continues to lay it on thick he wants Aegon to rule, and goddammit. Alicent is definitely not all the way on board with screwing over her best friend. Otto is honestly the reason that his line dies via Alicent. Its Aegon III, son of Rhae, who will eventually claim the throne for the Blacks over the Greens. Vaemond Velaryon, brother of Corlys, sends a message calling for aide. Vsierys is set on not appearing weak. Alicent gets blunt with him and we can see he finally makes a fucking decisive. The Princess arrives just as it happens, and I think maybe we'll see a little of that divide healed. She tells him how she is not really worth it. Viserys is serious with her as he remains in her defense. Maybe, she'll pick it up and he gives her the right to choose her own match. "Strengthen your claim." He's being good here, that is -what she should be donig-? Why just languish when you could have been building all the connections to defend her claim. Which she's not since you know she's a FUCKING CHILD. No one seems to have been there for Rhae and while Alicent is manipulated by her father her best friend is out to dry. Back to the Stepstones, and we see that Vaemond is being a piece of shit. And I also noticed that there are several dar skinned soldiers serving driftmark. Which makes me happy. And it made me so happy to see that they FINALLY MENTIONED THE RHOYNAR in the fucking attestation of the King. Daemon reads his brothers message gives it back. Then he beats the living shit out of the messenger like the fuckboy he is. The new troops will help, bt you can see the asshole just wants to appear like a badass. Goes to shore, seeing the water logged banner of Driftmark and past the rows of those efed to the crabs. Holding up a white flag, it wonder if he's asking for Parley or to lure out the crabfeeder. He's offering his sword, yup, this appears to be surrender. Drahar glances skyward searching for soldiers and Dragons. HIs men creep out of the caves they hide in and head for the Prince. As a man takes his out thrust sword he attacked, all alone on the battlefield he runs through a hailstorm of arrows. Dashing strike and using Valyring Steel to share through his opponents. Matt smith is so good in this role, and as the Arrows whiz by his face he is just cleaving away at a run. The RNG seems to be screaming "CRIT CRIT CRIT CRIT" as he takes out the Triarchy soldiers. An arrow finally gets him in the chest and leg pinning him under more arrowfire. As they rain further down, we hear the subvocal rumbling of Caraxes, the Dragon was waiting. As the soldier's stream out of the caves we see them getting within Daemon's vision. He appear to be ready to die as they surround him. Out comes the Se Snake and his troops falling upon the bastards through the smoke. We see Laeron riding Seasmoke, the smallish grey dragon like a cute bastard kills the enemy as Corlys rushes in with a massive two-handed ax. The half-moon stabs and breaks the Triarchyman, and the Crabfeeder recedes to hide in his burrow. Daemon pushes further in to find his prey, walking out of the man's burrow he holds the upper remains of Drahar. Bleeding in his hand he drags the left side of the man's torso and proclaims his kill. The Sea Snake and the Rogue Prince have won the war.
Gay Canon
Okay, seriously, going on the THeory the Hightowers have Valyrian Blood, id' love to see a story where one of the Dragon's chooses Alicent as a rider. This causes a stir before her father can push further with her. She secretly swears to marry Alicent. Yup, I like this idea for a story.
Hottakes:
The King dealing with his shit still.
Ser Otto is intent on seeing his grandsprog on the Iron Throne.
This show definitely shows the growing split in the Kingdom. How House Strong will eventually side with the upcoming Blacks faction.
The greens including the Lannisters and High Towers are on another side.
The pavilions of the hunt were nicely colored, but we could have seen brighter colors that were a little bit more evident.
Rhae is out rebellion and is definitely dealing with the agony of how she's basically a spare with only a small oath to hold her to the Throne.
The pained scene where the stag was slain by the King was - ick. Corlys putting his brother in his place was a nice scene
Seeing more difference in the Dragons is nice. Sea Smokes more compact form which appears closer to Syrax in size is interest. Caraxes meanwhile is long and lankky. His legs including webbing to help him glide.
Drahar was menacing without lines, but I felt he could have said something. I LOVE CORLYS Armor.

Hey, this is a quick reminder that by just supporting on Patreon to read all of my reviews and lore much earlier!
"They mean to marry her to the son of the Sea Snake?" Qwynn questioned quietly as she sharpened her sword. The chuckle tore from her mouth without any hesitation. "Fools. Only a Dragon would wed a Sea Serpent." She sighed before turning to eye her father who was busily finalizing a marriage contract. "The Gods will approve this match," he replied as she rewet the stone. "And you'll accept an heir as we agreed with her brother's seed?" she asked carefully. "Yes, you've quited the Ironborn and saved our House, it is the least the Gods could ask me to help you." --- House of the Dragon Episode 5 "We light the Way". WE open with Lady Rhea outside of Runestone ,this is a fucking Royce in the Vale of Arryn. An older House that once ruled much of the Vale in the times before the Andals. I liked how the used the open spaces of Scotland for this shot, and the runic patterning on her leather armor is nice. And we see - fuuuuck boy in his splendour. Fucking hell Daemon, you are more irritating. Rhea just tears into him. She appears to be unsure, as he engineers death apparently by spooking her horse or at least her obvious crippling. A reason to end his wedding. This show is intent on killing women again hooray for writers! Back to the seas outside dragonstone we see Viserys throwing up as Lord STrong offers him a handkerchief. The princess is still with her shitty Knight Ser Criston (I'll be tearing him apart later.) They have sailed for diftmark to reunite the oldest Valyrian Houses outside the Celtigars in all of Westeros. You'd think they would have done this earlier? Rather than a Hightower upstart. Otto leaves in full fanfare and we can see Otto has paid the price. His daughter makes a point that this is his reason. Honestly, if he hadn't push his own daughter this wouldn't have fucking happened. Yup, I am still blaming the shitty dudes for this situation because a lot of this is fucking sexism. Rhaenyra if the Hightowers had stood beside her would have been a powerful monarch. INstead, Otto sacrificed his own daughter to create a secondary line from Viserys. The bloody idiot. Everything in Redkeep is predictably drab before we switch back to Driftmark where the Targs have come to rebuild their bonds. Finally seeing a fucking tower we should have seen in GoT is nice. Laenor greets the King and his entourage outside with his lover, Joffrey Lonmouth. Back in the Godswood of the Red Keep Larys Strong continues his families increasing power over the Hightowers on the Small Council. I wonder what Larys plans to do. Is he here to push the Queen further away from her old friend? But, the Strongs pushed for the binding with Lord Corlys. This places them firmly in what will become the Black Council. But here we have Lord Larys pushing for a split with Alicent in a manner which makes me think he'll be a green. Yes, I have not read Fire and Blood, so I'm going on a vague notion here. The Black swill be the pro Rhae faction at court while the Green's back her brother Aegon II. BACK to Driftmark, the halls of Driftmark are stark, but hold a love of ancient Valyrian as well as the Sea. A massive murial displaying a Velaryon ship and we notice that upon her arrival Rhaenys sees her cousin is ill. THey all speak of Rhea's death. Lord Corlys' decides to negotiate hard and hearing a laugh from a trouser (yes I love how we can see that Rhaenys is comfortable with herself and dresses more like a sailor). The King's offer sees the continuation of the Velaryons with whoever takes the Iron Throne being a Targ and thus continues the Dragon Dynasty. Laenor in Velaryon Blue and finally seeing Rhae in a vividly red and gold Targ dress is a nice addition. The two make an equitable agreement so they can have their respective lovers. One that would have benefited both. The Sea Snakes prices in High Tide are impressive and shows how the man has been everywhere. And among these decisions, we can see that Corlys' own homophobia coming out. All Rhaenys wants is her son to be safe and to be himself. These two parents are worried. Seeing all these pent-up feelings which will come to form the Black Council. Seeing Joffrey and Laenor together makes the later's death (yes if this fucking episode has Bury Your Gays you Bet Yourself I spoil myself) I want to savor his character. The scene where the two kiss and they discuss the paramour of Rhae aka Ser Criston (IMo it should be Alys, but fuck the writers). Ser Criston is seemingly thinking he can be more affectionate with the Crown Princess. But, predictably he suggests they run away. You motherfucker, a -fucking princess- cannot just runaway. She wants power, and instead he says to run away. This is a good show that while he wants to help her this is about his fucking ego. Not what she wants. I wanna say the actress behind Rhae here really shows her emotion here. Milly brings a good level of royalty and as she tells Ser Criston the man cracks. We can see his vivid emotions. But this is where Ser Cristion is thinking about himself. No one really gives three fucks about Daemon, no one is going to think about him killing his wife. But Criston here will have the rage which will see him do such terrible things so very soon. The King returns to the Red Keep and collapses sowing that the time of the end of his reign is coming. Ser Criston goes to the Queen and i think this is where the asshole decides to start his place as backing the Greens. Alicent interrogates Ser Criston and like the scorned lover he is he caves. At the girl's instigation, yes, she came on to him, and this brings up a question. Can a Kingsguard walk away from such a thing? I think that as a Kingsguard he would have had an easier time versus any poor sod of a servant. Criston can easily speak to the King, and as a Guard he could have easily reasoned out a less worthless punishment than what he alludes too. I wanna say that Alicent's feelings here in how she is is so fucking vivid. It makes the Alaenyra ship so much more real for me. Plus, it sells the harsher reality of being a woman even a noble one in the lands of the SEven Kingdoms. Lyonel here as the Maesters leave is asked, "Will they remember me as a good king, Lionel?" Dammit, Lionel has played his game well, but what is he going to say? That the Dragons will all die out to just two members in a hundred years? That all Dragons that fly will be dead except for three fossilized eggs. Viserys is a grand example of what a man who just -tries- to do best will accomplish. Splitting to an open scene we see Syrax and Seasmoke flying together. Both are a bit more similar in design than the others. Seasmoke appears to have a large paddle-like bit on his tail. All the great Houses of the Lords Paramount arrive and we see the wedding beginning to start. And Jason makes a shitty Lannister joke that would get a slap from Lann the Quick. The Velaryons arrive in fashion and we see a LOT of them. I mean a lot of kids as well as older members. Wow, I didn't realize that their House was so large at this point. Ser Gerold was interrupted here, but we can see he was trying to make a point that they should look into Rhea's death. But in rolls Daemon like a fucking asshole he is all dressed in Targ black with red sleeves. So they have to ready a chair for him. And, Alicent makes her fucking arrival like a girlboss dress in -GREEN-, yup we have announced her faction the Greens. Yup, love this color choice here to show how we have the two Queens of Westeros which will go to war. Apparently, Green is also the color Hightower uses to call its banners to war. Dammit, this is a bold statement. Viserys is desperate like all of his descendants to rebuild the freehold in someway. Perhaps a desire created as far back as the Empire of the Dawn? (See David LIghtbringer for his massive theory). This scene is well blocked and acted. I love how everyone is doing their best to stare at the new couple. Ser Joffrey is masking and Criston wants to murder Laenor like the sick selfish pup he is. Daemon is just enjoying all the drama after murdering his Wife. We get a nice crowded dance scene as various LOrds and Ladie's dance. WE see her Uncle there and yes, the Hightowers have come to oppose the Velaryons. Daemon continues to cause issue with the Vale and we see everyone is giving the brat a sideye. THen he decides to eye poor Laena, dammit, no fuck that shit. Fuck Daemon! Fuck him to high hells to the very far north where he might freeze! All of this episode does is signal and set up the tragedy that is the Targaryn fall. We know all Daemon want is his niece (cuz we gotta love that Targ incest). Matt Smith is a genius in this role. The wedding celebrations push forward as the entire fucking feast comes full swing. the politicking continues as the various Houses chat. Joffrey head's over and decides to activate the homophobic self-preservation of House Cole. Dammit, fucking Lonmouths. More incest with Daemon trying to get his freak on again and this time he seems intent on going too far. A scream erupts in the crowd as SEr Criston brutally murders Ser Criston is brutally murdering Joffrey. LIon signals his man to get Rhae out and we see that BURY YOUR GAYS HAS HAPPENED. I mean it, Ser Criston should have been executed for what he did. He murdered a man of a powerful house of the fucking BETROTHED who was unarmed at the wedding of the fucking Princess. This scene is unnecessary and painful to watch. The Coward wanders off to the Godswood to off himself and yes, I am hard on Criston here, But that's because a lot of his decisions are based on -his- ego. He didn't need to murder Ser Joffrey. Jorffrey was a prat with his comment, but he was not a threat. This is all about Cole's need to justify his manliness and how he's being "cuckholded" by the King Consort. The Queen stos Ser Criston, the King falls down likely dead or near death. Gay Canon
Laenor and Joffrey are officially w wronged couple here. What was the point of adding Laenor as gay if you're going to murder his lover in the same fucking episode. Classic bury your gays. This was one of the most well acted series, but I think in a lot of ways this was an example of the writers -not- thinking about how they did shit. If Joffrey was shown earlier and we had _MORE_ of Laenor being gay they could have easily avoided this as early as EPISODE FUCKING THREE with the Stepstones! The hatred between Rhae and Alicent is so thick I would need a Valyrian Steel knife to cut it. I have so many ideas for a story that requires a lot of deep lore references, but trust me I'll have it out by season 2 after I let it percolate for a while. Current working name is "Waltz of Dragons". Hottakes
So, the ships in this series are gorgeous. I love them all. I like how the colors on each shows the differences between Targ and Velry.
High Tide and all the knickknacks of Corlys travels really show we need a prequel series of him and Rhaenys gallivanting all over.
Rhaenys in comfy pants and tunic was happy mom vibes all over. Corlys giving into his wife's worries and shadowing his homophobia was heart warming. Joffreey and Laenor in the grass was  great scene with soft golden light and serious romance.
Ser Criston is a good example of how men seem to react to powerful women. If he had been a woman much like Rhea he would have been killed.
Ser Jason, the best example of why the Lannisters are just damn terrible.
The fact that Ser Criston wasn't arrested for attacking Joffrey IS an example of how Rhae and the King need harder authority.
Alicent's anger is a great way to show how she's been used and must thus use her placement as Queen to protect herself.
Also, how fucking Westeros sexism basically tosses women at this time s expendable, appendices see Rhea.
Rhea dying this early was fucking tragic, something better come of this.

She smiled, her long cloak floated around her as she chuckled. The words of the great council all around her made her laugh. A child there with her father, a minor lord of the North, but still. Watching the works made her eyes turn toward Princess Aemma's belly. A strong dragon will soon be born.
--- Alright yes, Episode 1 of HoD "Heirs of the Dragon" has a solid opening featuring Jaehaerys calling the great council. Then switching to Rhaenyra after seeing Rhaenys lose it (thus setting the stage). The opening shot of young Rhaeynra on Syrax was a great one. It really shows us what a high fantasy setting with Dragons can feel like. Aka, bring your fucking A-Game Disney when you make Eragon! So this opening is important, watching Rhaenys getting set aside is what will eventually set a precedent conversation is hard for me to hear.  for Rhaenyra turning on her friend Alicent. This story will no end well. Everyone of import will either survive or die and this is something if you want to watch this show you need to accept. Now, with the mention of the Triarchy, we see Rhaenyra exploring with her friend Alicent. She meets with her uncle, Daemon, who seems intent on showing his claim to the throne. Again more set up for the war of succession which will weaken the House of the Dragon. It appears that Viserys is also ill to some level as he's seen with maesters not long after. Rhaenys is back in the tub and we see her dealing with her pregnancy again more of a lead-up to the work of the Hightowers. When Viserys mentions that dragons need the heat it reminds me of an old theory. That it was the Citadel and the Hightowers which conspired to eliminate the Dragons from Westeros. Honestly, it's a theory that works quite well. And honestly this particular scene is hard for me to watch. It reminds me of things that have happened to friends and worse. Suddenly, switching to this shows us more brutality as the watch goes on a literal purge of all of the criminals in what appears to be either flea bottom or another shitty part of King's landing. The Hand appears intent on pushing Daemon on edge. Lord Corlys himself backs it as Master of Ships so yeah even more bickering it seems on the small council. And here we come to the required GoTverse fucking scene, I kid you not. WE get Daemon getting spied on him a whorehouse. Daemon is obviously unsure of what to do. He is not happy with his wife andMuch more. Tournament opens with the mention of Aemma in labor. The knights are fighting fiercly at the joust and we see numerous Houses representative. Rhaenys gives favor to a Baratheon, and the Hand seems to be wanting to pull a fucking Lannister and cut out his tongue. Poor Baratheon loses the joust proving the King's favor. Heh, no we get Daemon in full Dragon Regalic Armor. yup, this show is leaning hard into the high middle ages of history. Some of these designs I could see in the old 1960s medieval movies. Now, Hightower vs Targaryen which is the challenge for this entire fucking show.  And, as we switch to Aemma who is having a bad birth. We can see really how the sexism of Westeros is at play here. The Masters are so intent on saving the baby they won't bother helping her more than opium. We switch back and forward between what is likely the Queen's death and the melee occurring in the Tournament. Alicent is important here as well as her father is intent on putting her on the throne. Sacrificing the Queen though, goddess, I hated this shit. And they show us - wow - seriously. THey aren't going to actually show her getting cut open are they. The fucking torture of being killed in a c-section for a shitty Maester. This was an unnecessary scene! Thanks GoTverse for continuing the trend of gender trauma :D FFS - they actually showed the gore of the c-section. This scene is - heartbreaking and honestly.....again. Unnecessary. I think this is going to be one thing that turns me off this fucking episode. His father's son died, and it was because of his hubris. Rhaenyra here knows that she will never inherit with Agnatic Primogeniture (aka only the boys can succeed) in place. Watching Rhaenyra choke up before ordering Syrax to burn her mother's remains. Back at the Small Council, we can see these fools are intent on just being shitty. Viserys is obviously regretting his decision and is in deep anguish. I mean he made a decision and now he's feeling the repercussions. Honestly, Viserys is a pretty gullible man, I would say I lay most of this blame on the Maesters. hey were the ones who made a to of assumptions. I also blame Viserys for killing his wife. You reap what you sow. We can already see the Hand in talking with his daughter trying to prepare for becoming Queen. She meets with the King as he works on his models. Meanwhile, Daemon is in a fucking Whorehouse again trying to work through all the shit the Council said about him. I wonder if he feels terrible of his sister-in-law's death. He and the Watch were so intent on fucking. He opens his mouth and had to open his damn mouth. Yup, way to go fuck boy. Fuckboy gets banished from court. Yup, and he did have a point Viserys is easily manipulated. By the Old Gods, the Iron Throne cut him, which means he is weak. And now we see Rhaenyra raised as the future Queen. Yup, this will become even more problematic when Alicent is turned against her later on by the Hand. Watching people swear before Rhaenyra reminds me of the foolishness of Empress Mathilde. Oh shit, Mysaria is Dragon Seed, she can touch a fucking Dragon without problems. Shit, they are really setting this up to have an epic conclusion. Oh nice way to weave in the mention of the OG series name. That Aegon foresaw the Long Night and the Nights King. Well done writers, you actually did your fucking reading this time! The ending with Daemon on Caraxes was pretty epic. I like how he has webbing along his legs. Gay Thoughts: An Alicent x Rhaenyra story where they must come back together in he end would be pretty solid. All I got for now. Hottakes:
Syrax is a fucking adorable Dragon! She's such a good girl and I like how she's gentle compared to say Caraxes!
Daemon is definitely shown to be complicated and has a strong fuckboy bent going on.
Otto is a snake I never trusted the Hightowers.
That goes for the High Maester as well.
I like the use of ASOIAF later on in the stories.
Having the story treat Rhaenyra as wronged rather than just ambitious is a good choice (I watched the inside episode).
