Part one of my sensual Miguel O’Hara illustrated series!
So I’m starting this series of Miguel O’Hara illustrations in sensual positions. I was coloring this one and was listening to some of my fave sensual music to get me on the zone. And it kinda gave me ideas on starting a series of sensual portraits of him, and also it reminded me of this one Japanese gravure magazine that I saw in a bookstore here in Japan. I kinda want to make something similar to that!
And boi I have a LOT of ideas haha. I currently have 8 (maybe 10?) planned so far!
Bracket is up! Matchups are in text form under the cut. Reminder that all of these matchups were chosen randomly, and that this bracket will be run in a double elimination style, so a character failing out in round one does NOT prevent them from proceeding into the tournament.

@leporschespam (hi! thank you! ♡) tagged me to list ten songs from my most recent playlist, on shuffle.
Since the only playlist I've been adding stuff to lately is my VegasPete one, I'll take the songs from there (with commentaries! because of course):
Hurts Like Hell by Fleurie (post-safehouse era)
Can I by Alina Baraz & Galimatias (safehouse era; can go both ways, but especially from Vegas' POV)
Bad Boy by Red Velvet (Pete's POV (ironically?); Biu kind of suggested this one)
Oxygen by Jackson Wang (someone used it in an edit and I couldn't unsee it; it's mostly vibes, but the first part of the lyrics could be linked to them, with some imagination)
Love Story by Taylor Swift (lol. why... wait a sec, wait a sec... Ah. It's because of the Romeo and Juliet parallel. Don't take it too seriously.)
Heartburn by wafia (post-safehouse era, with emphasis to that moment on the back of Yok's bar)
In The Heat Of The Night by Sandra (this... uh... I think of Vegas, during the showdown... because of his pants................ Bro, it's a big leap, but I swear the lyrics (surprisingly) also work for them, from Vegas' POV)
Naked by Jaymes Young (safehouse era, when they start seeing each other; it also works from both POVs)
Happy Little Pill by Troye Sivan (it's Vegas' POV 😭😭 no comments here)
Somewhere Else To Be by VAST (it's another safehouse song (this one about the earlier period, when everything was hell for both of them)).
—
I'm glad the shuffle didn't throw me something that everyone knows, like Daddy Issues, or Mirrors, or even I Found, but I must admit I felt a little betrayed when it didn't play Jaymes Young's Black Magic. Hello???? It's one of my favorites for them!! Why is no one ever on my side!!!! *sigh*
—
I'll tag a few people because it's easier than asking them for song recs directly:

I come from a very musically eclectic background, very big emphasis on the MUSIC and ECLECTIC part of that sentence, please. So except for Country music (most of it) there isn’t much I don’t listen to, in fact I would say that my choice in music varies with feels?
Of course I have favourite musicians and genres. My favourite band of all time is Queen, and I have a very personal love and appreciation for Freddie Mercury, musically and just as a person. Unfortunately for me, by the time I even could associate the name of the group to the songs I was so familiar listening to as a kid thanks to my dad, Freddie was already dead and Queen were already legends.
That being said … I still don’t know how to answer your questions 😂😂😂
As a person who studies and writes a lot, background music is fundamental to me, as the way of listening to music has changed from when I was in high school (which is more or less 15 years ago) right now I rely on Spotify a lot. I pick a song with the mood I feel and then get to that song’s radio. Once I find a song I like, I go to the artists page and listen to their discography and see if it agrees with me or not. I also love listening to albums and if I don’t skip songs then already is a 8/10 for me!
At the very moment, even though I was already familiar with these artists, because of the mood I am in, I have been listening to the discography of Billie Eilish and Jackson Wang (I really can’t wait for Magic Man!!). A couple of weeks ago, for a good month it was J-Hope’s Jack in the Box (I was somewhat obsessed with that album, NGL … ) and the discography of Anderson .Paak. The month before that it was the discography of Alina Baraz, Masego and Ella Mai’s Heart On My Sleeve … and so on and so forth. Aaaaand I have hundreds of playlists I’ve made to match all my different moods. And then you have albums like Rihanna’s ANTI or discographies like Bonobo’s and BTS who I just go to for comfort and ease.
… Hope that kinda answered your question! Nothing I ever say, or do, is ever straightforward as a line, HAJIMAN (but), it does have a point, and lines are made of points 😉.
