Ordering a collectors MH doll from Mattel creations step by step

Just finished ordering Anabelle from MC here's how my experience went and what to know

Most important step Make a Mattel creations account. Do this 20-30 mins before or the day before any big drop. If you already have an account double check that you are signed in.

once counter goes down to zero "shop now" button appears. Go and get her!

You will be directed to the product page scroll down to 'add to cart"

Next it will take you to a "Not a bot" check. You will need to click the checkmark and solve a picture prompt. It asked me to click on all the areas that included a motorcycle. Idk if this stops bots at any capacity but it is there.

Once you solve its riddle they will send you a verification code through text. Copy paste that onto the page.

Next you will be put on a virtual line que.

After that you will be able to add your card and address

Tell me how your experience went, do you guys think the "not a bot" check and verification code works at deterring bots?

Battle Chatelaines - Have many MANY legendary Pokemon, with Masters confirming that Evelyn has Entei, Raikou, and Suicune. Nita has Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus. Too many to count and name. Apparently, Nita befriended the three legendary Pokemon without even knowing they were ridiculously strong and legendary. Sinnoh Stat Trainers - I don't even know where to start here because Riley CAN have a Regigigas and Entei but he never mentions them or brings them back for BDSP. They're so remote in appearing that I'm not entirely certain they're real.

Team Rainbow Rocket - Alternate timelines where the villains won, this is the only time they actually have have trainer-ship of the box legendaries

Why you should watch Paul Shapera's Dolls of New Albion

Trigger warnings for the whole opera: Death abuse, drugs (briefly mentioned), and suicide

This is a steampunk Opera that follows 4 generations of the McAlister family as the repercussions of Anabel's creation. Dolls of New Albion handles subjects like grieving, love, sacrifice, overexpectations from parents, loneliness, politics, and generational problems. It's also part of a 4 part overarching story about New Albion as a whole.

Spoilers for the first act of the opera bellow:

Anibel fell in love with someone named Jasper and when he died she brought him back to life as a doll that can only play the radio. She realized he was unhappy as a doll, despite and because of how much she loved him, she chose to destroy the doll and lock away the formulas to bring back the dead. Fuck it. Detroit: Become Human TMA fear entity alignments. I've been rotating them in my head for so long and need to get them out now

Connor: Eye/Web. Yeah he's officially known as the deviant 'hunter' but to me he seems to pursue knowledge about the deviants above hunting them. After going deviant himself he gets even a whiff of the fears? He'd absolutely fall deep into chasing after any scrap of knowledge he can learn about them to his own detriment. But also that first interrogation scene?? Pure Web manipulation baby. I see him falling in with the Eye and pursuit of knowledge more, but he could easily go Web if he leans into those manipulation tactics too hard

RK900/Nines: Hunt. Okay so we don't know too much about Nines except that he's more military geared and better than Connor in every way. But while I see Connor leaning away from combat in his alignment, I see Nines leaning into it. But not in a bloodthirsty Slaughter way, but in a 'I will do anything to accomplish my mission' way that could easily slip into an enjoyment of the thrill of the chase just before mission complete once deviated, allowing the Hunt to slip on and take over

Bonus: RK80060: Web. In the 'Sixty survives' AUs, I feel Connor would lean into his Eye tendencies, and Sixty would be the one to go Web. Manipulating Hank into going with him by pretending to be his Connor? That's Web shit right there. Plus the monologuing? We all know Web avatars live for the drama just look at Anabelle

Markus: Desolation. Okay so this alignment comes from the violence routes of the game. Nuking the city? Desolation. I mean, he can set himself on fire for his cause in one of his bad endings, that's pure Desolation material right there nothing more needed.

Bonus: Markus: Buried. So this one is more of a stretch, but I feel Markus could wind up either a victim of or aligned with the Buried in some of his pacifist 'bad' endings. Specifically if all his companions, maybe excluding North, die and he's left to be the leader of the revolution nearly alone. Remember, the Buried isn't just claustrophobia, it's also fearing being crushed by debt, expectations of others, anything that can contribute to that 'I'm drowning/being crushed by the circumstances of my life' which would fit very well in those specific endings.

North: Slaughter. Was there any question about this? Yeah her violent tendencies are quashed in the pacifist route, but the violent route? It would be so easy for the Slaughter to come in and take over through her anger and violence. In these routes Markus would be taken by the Desolation, and his choices aligning with that would only fuel the Slaughter in her more. We stan a trigger happy queen

Ralph: Corruption. I waffled between Corruption and Stranger for him, but Corruption won. He lives in an abandoned, presumably moldy house, and he tried to serve Alice a rat to eat. I could see him easily falling for the same song of family and home that Prentiss fell for in the podcast. The damaged parts of him could become filled with mold, holding him together and visually signifying his alignment the way the worm holes did for Prentiss.

The Jerrys: Stranger. The way they're all the same and almost operate as a hivemind along with being androids just screams Stranger. They look human, but they're behavior is just off enough to raise warnings in humans. And when more of them start appearing? That's a tasty fear snack right there

Zlatko's creations: Spiral. While at first I was tempted to classify them as Stranger, they're too inhuman to be so. Stranger avatars have always been to the left of human, activating the feeling of the uncanny valley. The creations are straight up inhuman looking, and if they choose to lean into that, they could go from 'weird inhuman looking androids' to 'wtf am I looking at someone help me please I don't understand' would be pure Spiral baby

Amanda: Web. Sure she's just an ai handler for Connor, but the way she uses praise and disappointment to get Connor to do what Cyberlife wants? That's all Web manipulation

Hank: Lonely. Moving away from the androids, we've got poor lonely Hank. He has no one truly left in his life, his family gone, his coworkers think he's a joke at best, or despise him at worst. The people at the bar and food truck probably just tolerate him for his money. Sumo is the only one that cares for him and that he cares about. Until Connor comes along, but if Connor goes the machine route and does a bunch in the process? Well that's got to fuck Hank up even more and only serve to drive him deeper into his loneliness, until it's the only thing left in him

Gavin- realistic: Hunt/slaughter. All we see of Gavin's character is a hot headed bully who does anything to get what he wants. Based on his incredibly shallow character, and the fact he's a cop, he'd either fall in with the Hunt or Slaughter, depending on if he follows the chase after criminals, and then more, or follows his more violent tendencies. But you want to know what my mind has conjured up for him? The Vast. I don't really have any justification, other than I think he'd have so much fun throwing people off buildings into an endless sky. But if I had to give something, he's worked hard and stepped on so many toes to get where he's at, he'd be afraid to fall off the career ladder, so to speak. But he still wants to climb higher and higher. So rather than it being a literal ladder over an endless void, it's a metaphorical one. But mostly my brain has gotten stuck on Vast for Gavin for some reason and won't let it go, despite it not fitting his canon character very well.

That's all I have. If a character isn't listed here, it's because the game didn't show enough negative character traits for them for me to make a judgement on the alignment. The only exception is Kamski, who I want to tentatively place as Web, but can't be certain on that

Not sure if I'll ever write her into my fic or she'll appear in a ficlet, but heres my personal rewrite of Sheena, because she was such a wasted character:

- She is considered a priestess, not just a guardian. This began when she was young and developed her ability. She expressed continuing her parent's line of work within the village, and began training into her teens. She puts on a serious facade but it hides an insecure and not yet mature version of herself. She had doubts of her abilities before and was uncertain about taking her father's role once he stepped down. Thus she began to travel often to refresh her mind and follow the aftermath of the creation trio, namely the fight between Dialga and Palkia in Alamos. After the events of the 12th movie, she felt a lot more confident and experienced in life.

- The ability to connect with the hearts of pokemon, while rare, has been seen outside her main family. A few cousins have this too, a distant one is Anabel and going further back in a Unovian branch, is N's family line, though they split in the Middle Ages due to differing beliefs and a worshipping of just the Tao Trio.

- While the Arceusian faith is small compared to how it once was long ago, it's still practiced among the population of Michina. Her family, like their ancestors, live a humble life on a tract of farm land and frequently participate in city matters.

- She's friends with or at least has connections with Cynthia as both a fellow Celestian descendant and someone who actively restores and maintains the ruins. Like Spear Pillar, the Michina temple is being renovated according to what Sheena witnessed when she was sent back in time. Many artifacts were uncovered during renovations. Anything of high interest is shared with Cynthia, Steven, Lenora, Roark, and Clay.

- She keeps in frequent touch with Dialga and Palkia to the point it's not uncommon to see them visit her at the temple. Giratina is a rare visitor, but she welcomes them just the same. Though she is a bit careful mentioning Arceus around them, as she's aware through Cynthia, that they have a strained relationship.

- She hasn't had any visits from Arceus since the 12th movie. She understands why, but it saddens her, as she adored reading the manuscripts penned by Damos and his close relationship with Arceus, though the last writings, around the time Damos married and had kids, concerned her, as it seemed the deity simply moved on out of the blue, suggesting a sort of fall out between them. She's been tempted to ask Dialga to send her back in time to see what happened, and visit her ancestor again. So far she hasn't had the nerve to ask such a favor.

- Since the restorations are nearly complete, Sheena has suggested the town have a festival around the date Arceus saved their town from a meteor. There are reenactments of the event, food, activities, and people coming in costume. It's small now, but she hopes it gets bigger and brings some tourism in, as that will help the small businesses and upkeep the ruins.

- Kevin acts as a tour guide of the ruins when Sheena is busy with the renovations or during ritual days. He's great with money, and has successfully built an elevator to ride up to the temple for guests who are unable to make the steep climb. It's completely powered by water mills. He was inspired by the water lifts in Cascarrafa City in Paldea and wind mills of Fula City.

- Kevin is good friends with Baraz in Arche Valley, and with Hoopa's help, both can visit each other easily and spend some time catching up with a mutual friend, Lucianne in Dahara City.

- Sheena and Kevin had a child, she named her son Damos, in her ancestor's memory. She's happy to find her son carries her family's gift as well.

aaaa belly is the one character im currently reworking on...

she's nell's twin sister (they both dye their hair lol), as humans they both suffered their dad's abuse and while nell never managed to recover from it, she ended up distancing herself from her brother at like 19/20 as a way to. move on. so the two of them have a deep love for each other but it was also built on shared pain and they both dealt with it differently which hurt and separated them...

as an angel (and demon for Nell) the twins both feel each others pain bc theyre. literally twin souls. but they barely remember their human lives so they only know that the other exist, but dont remember each other until they physically meet as angel n demon...

ANYWAY belly fights with? american brass knuckles i think theyre called. she has lots of rage like her brother :] but opposite to nell she's open and curious about peolple, goes past the fear the abuse they were victims off installed in them...

jasper and eden, her bfs, are both pretty introverts lol tough shells to get into!!! but she did !!! she's like the non aggressive light of the milky way a clear summer night yk ❤️

also i have a very specific fashion style for her bc uts basically. how i wish i dressed now that im accepting some of my feminity ❤️

also the reason ip reworking on her is that she's the one who joined muuuuch later the main guys team . at the creation of this group of character she was a very very side character i wasnt sure i wanted to keep n then i changed the story n i was like u know what. women.

which like, great, except i kept mistaking her with lena, who i have a very specific idea of !!! so belly ended up being a mix of lena and nell.. and i need to make her Individual.

As an Addendum to the previous post, I’m making the Subworlds made for the birth of the Creation trio be the worlds of the games we play. The Full or Whole Worlds are worlds that contain every pokemon in existance, every system you can think of like Mega evolution and Dynamax. 

The Subworlds are not made like a Full world, so things like Dynamax, certain pokemon, and even entire regions may not exist in them(meta reason why games from previous gens don’t mention pokemon or regions from later gens). Because of this and like in canon, there are many versions of the pokemon world. Tears can be made between these subworlds and even between Full worlds. This would explain how some people like Anabel fell from Non-Mega Emerald world into a world that did have Mega Evolution, or even into a Full World.

The only way to truly tell if a world is a sub world or not is to either identify something that it’s lacking(Full worlds have everything), or whether or not it has the Mystri Stage in the Sinjoh ruins, as that is an altar specifically made to give birth to a member of a new Creation Trio.

For the purposes of my story, the Legends Arceus stuff takes place in a Full World, or at least the start of one.
