Do you have any more ideas on how sans (swapfell red) were like as a kid?
if not that's okie :)
No no no... I do; I very much do!
SFR!Sans, as a child, was such a handful...
It's not because he wasn't disciplined; Not because he was seeking attention; It was literally his Soul desiring to follow what he was made for.
In my verse, he was literally made to become a cold killer.
Unlike Russ, Sans was only thought up of as a mere second thought; Nothing much was processed besides; 'Back up plan 2'
Gaster in this world, was aiming to take the Royal Scientist River's spot. He seeked with anger, jealousy, greed... He aimed with malicious intent; Which both boys gained, but sadly San's had the main blunt of it.
So after things were said and done; Both Papyrus and their adopted father, Lizando, fought fang and claw to settle Sans however they could during his toddler stages. He was a terrible; Literally scratching and biting everything and anything up. Toys, books, his own adoptive Sister, even Russ & Li themselves.
Sans bit so much, they actually invested in a special muzzle for him...
Occasionally, they found Sans killing small creatures... After they saw how gleeful he was about it, gaining small amounts of LVL with it, the two took the steps to correct it. Sans was gaining psychotic tendencies neither one wanted to have...
Sans showed the desired signs Gaster had originally wanted; Up into his young tween stages. He was gifted more than Russ with the killing and no remorse senses. Sans' soul was a dull dark grey when he was a baby; Something so rare for a monster child, even in their realm.
Thankfully with a General as your adoptive Father; Safe to say he had more ways to help Sans target this--... Oddly aggressive behavior in a more than healthy way.
│Sans was taught early how to wrestle; He adored to and rough house with his siblings. He really enjoyed doing it with Papyrus since he'd always hurt Alphys too much. But as Russ got 'lazier', not wanting 'to play', Sans turned to Alphy and going easy for her, in order to get her up to 'His Level'.
│Learned how to control his strength at that stage; But when really upset, he has gone into a blind rage.
│After the blind rage from his 5/7 age range, where a toddler was much easier to handle, and realizing he had actually harmed the ones he loved; That woke up Sans own internal thinking and realization to become someone better. Hasn't had a blind rage since that day.
│Sans was always praised for things he did accordingly; And at first, he reacted negatively to it all... Hated the praise! But as time went on, he slowly enjoyed it.
Still, Sans learned the language of swearing, cussing, and everything else from Russ' friends. He would curse like a lil'sailor, not caring who was around. That stopped when Sans found a better role model, even if for a short while.
Once he gets into his teen stages; He really starts to even out and has the goal to become a General, like his 'Father'. Sans has called him as such, and has the dream to becoming a Duo General with Alphy's.
Alphy's and Sans have always battled since; Be it sparring together, simple sibling rivalry, or even a simple discussion. Those two were the best of friends and shared many likes and teased the other for their dislikes when Russ was no longer available and Li got killed.
But still, Sans was a lil'troubling with how eagerly he wanted to kill and rip anyone apart if they so much as showed him their eyes.

Lost and Found (dp x dc)
Alfred sighed as he looked over the wide gymnasium, thinking to himself that he shouldn’t have listened to Leslie. Community service was all well and good as a way to connect with people, but overseeing an inter-school bakery-sale-and-science-fair combined event was proving to be more chaotic than anything else.
As another child dropped yet another just-bought desert on the floor, Alfred slunk into the shadows deciding to let the clean-up be someone else’s task for once. As he got further and further from the main hubbub, the ex(?)-butler arrived near a small exit door and snuck out quitely. As the fresh air hit his face, Alfred let out a breath. Seeing so many children around had him thinking of his charge and where he could possibly be.
The older man hadn’t brought a pack, since he’s been going to a school, but in the moment he wished he had. Sighing once again, Alfred shook off the craving as he took a few steps towards the communal school garden when the sight of a black-haired boy sitting with his back to him had him freezing. A second later his brain caught up to him, reminding him that this was not young master Bruce. The crushing disappointment he felt as he recognized the boy in front of him was much to small to be his little master Bruce surprised him by its intensity.
Alfred took a moment to compose himself before he cleared his throat. The noise had the figure flinching and turning their head towards the older man. Then, as the boy caught sight of the older man, he seemed to slump. Seeing that he was unlikely to speak up first, Alfred took it upon himself to start the conversation.
“Might I inquire what you are doing outside, young man?”
The boy’s shoulder slumped even more though he still answered. “Haven’t got any sweets to sell,” he mumbled.
“Oh?” Alfred sounded out. “Why is that?”
“My cookies ate my homework so I had to put them down,” said the boy as he finally raised his head, long-suffering
But Alfred could only breathe a faint “Indeed?” as the boy’s features were exposed. The resemblance with master Bruce was so uncanny that the butler had trouble looking away. But as he examined him more closely he could see some minute differences. The boy didn’t have the sharp jawline both mister Wayne and master Bruce had shared. His nose was smaller than master Bruce’s and his eyes were paler than the darker blue passed down through the Wayne line. The sight of a face so similar and yet not quite like master Bruce had his mind jumping to the portrait hung above the manor’s fireplace and the face of the toddler sitting on his mother’s lap as a slightly older child stood beside her with his father’s hand on his shoulder.
Everyone had bemoaned the two-fold tragedy of the Waynes. First to lose their youngest son at such a young age, only to be themselves brutally murdered only a few months later. All was left of the previously illustrious Waynes was a grief-stricken eight-year-old who had just lost his brother and parents in such a short period of time. Alfred sighed as he remembered how angry master Bruce was at his inability to find out to this day what had happened to his brother. The man half-suspected this was how the young man had developed such an obsession with solving mysteries.
Once again having to focus back on the boy in front of him, Alfred smiled at the boy. Then, the boy’s word registered and the man let out an amused huff. “You had no choice but to put an end to that, I suppose. Cookies as spirited as yours would sell poorly in any case.”
“Oh you’ve got no idea,” muttered the young man as he pushed himself to his feet only for his hand to slip on the wet wood surrounding the gardening plots and falling face-first onto the hard wooden surface.
“Oh dear!” exclaimed Alfred as he darted to assist the boy in straightening up. The boy groaned in pain as he held his nose and Alfred could see drops of red falling down.
“Here,” said the older man as he handed the boy a fabric handkerchief.
“Thanks,” the teen croaked as he accepted it.
“Put your head between your knees,” Alfred instructed. “Breathe through your mouth.”
The boy offered a thumbs-up as he complied. Alfred waited patiently by the teen as he kept the handkerchief held against his nose. After a moment, the boy held it away experimentally and when he felt no more blood flowing he turned towards Alfred.
“Thanks,” he said before he looked down at the red-stained white fabric. “I can wash it and return it if you give me a return address.”
“It’s alright,” Alfred refused. “I don’t mind washing it.”
“Thanks,” repeated the boy as he handed the older man the handkerchief back, as he got to his feet, this time more gingerly. “I best get back before my friends start looking for me.”
“Be careful on the way back,” Alfred couldn’t help saying.
The boy hummed and as he turned around for a final wave goodbye, their eyes connected and Alfred felt a jolt travel through his body. Though the pale blue of Danny’s eyes was not the distinctive shade of the Waynes, it was however identical to the color of the late Martha Wayne’s eyes. As the boy opened the exit door and disappeared in the crowd of people, Alfred looked down at the blood-stained handkerchief.
He knew there was a less than infinitesimal chance. Still. What would it hurt to make absolutely sure?

War AU x Second Love
Lmao Sam this is literally the plot to the Nandopoleon AU this exists in my head 😭😭
So Fernando is Napoleon, right? And Napoleon had two wives, right? Mark is his first love(i.e. Josephine), older than him, and who he is deeply in love with but has to divorce because Mark can't really provide anything(i.e. no political advantages, infertile, etc.) So Fernando needs to make a political marriage. And who does he marry! The young son of one of the most prominent monarchies in Europe: Lance, Archduke of Austria.
Lance is very resistant to this at first of course. All grumpy like, "Dad, why do you want me to marry the guy who just defeated us in four separate wars. He's literally beaten us since practically my birth, and now I have to marry him? Yuck." Both him and Fernando come into the marriage with bad expectations, Lance despising Fernando for all he represents and Fernando viewing Lance as just a means to an end. But Lance fits in to the kingdom very well and Fernando comes to adore him and pamper him all the time. And suddenly Lance to his father is all like, "the Emperor is great actually 🥰 I was so wrong 🥰"
Meanwhile Mark is just forced to the side, and has to watch while Fernando's love for him diminishes, and his love for Lance grows. They still talk a lot and spend time together, but Mark is constantly sniping at Fernando about his new "wife."
I think Lance would stick by Fernando's side during his exile and subsequent return. He grows to be more loyal to Fernando than to his own family and original kingdom. And even though Fernando originally just views him as a means to an end, he eventually lets Lance fight alongside when they are eventually drawn back into war. Maybe in this AU, he actually wins 😔

Do you think Steph and Dick would get along?
it would definitely take time. not to draw a comparison but one thing i really dislike about what bruce and stephanie's relationship eventually devolves into is it runs pretty parallel to the destruction of bruce's character in general. he's steadily stripped of his ability to empathize; his tendency to shift the weight of all burdens onto his own shoulders so as to spare the people he loves is reinterpreted as him being a commandeering control freak; he's cold, cutting, cruel. not to say dick should be any of these things, or at least not to the extent that bruce is written to embrace them comparatively, but if anyone was going to be exasperated with and critical of stephanie's tendency to jump into things headfirst and learn as she goes without necessarily any regard for protocol or safety, it would be dick. dick thrives on an organized operation and an understanding with his peers that they will not cross lines or act recklessly to endanger themselves or others. obv they do cross lines, the whole crux of teen titans comics lies in various sorts of unprecedented rogue elements when it comes to a mission. but the titans do also try to improve and be consistent and accountable where they can bc they know it's the key to a happier dick and a more well functioning team. stephanie's not really there yet mentally. she's eager to learn, and she's clearly capable of putting in the work when someone she respects is at the other end of the line, but she's also impatient, and she doesn't react well to orders. that's why you have to dialogue with her. if you respect her, she respects you. if you let her take the lead in manageable steps it will mean the world and more to her
and i do think dick is capable of being that person, but with extensive time and effort. he's spent so much of his life training specifically to do this job that he kind of overestimates what people in the same line of work are capable of on a disciplinary level, despite the fact that their experience might not match up with his own. that's something dixon's portrayal of dick during the prodigal era really takes for granted, bc dixon makes the assumption that tim easily follows dick's lead like a sprightly boy scout and dick responsively is the coolest guy ever rather than the uptight guy whose marriage recently went up in flames and left him feeling absolutely aimless with respect to his own aspirations and vigilante work. like yeah, dick is principled and he won't let real life shit get in the way of doing his job, but he's more than capable of being the most emotionally bitchy person ever while he's at it as we see from how he blows up at donna when she temporarily takes over the team. any interaction between dick and a young sidekick should be colored by an initial inability from him to reconcile the fact that he is working with a vigilante with the fact that he is also working with a child. it should bother him and frustrate him and push him to actually evaluate himself and his sometimes ridiculous expectations. and while i obv don't think stephanie exists to be the sounding board off of which various men work out their control issues or misogyny i do think it would be fun to see her sort of aspire to someone of dick's level (bc lbr. she totally would) while nonetheless putting him in his place as to how he's holding totally unrealistic expectations of an amateur teenager with no training facilities to her name
