Sonic the Comic Liveblog: Issue 41

An extra-long issue this time! Although, depending on the content, that doesn’t necessarily mean this will end up being a longer liveblog. Guess we’ll have to see!

I like how Amy’s shoe laces are drawn here as ribbons. It’s a cute little detail that I think suits her

Time for the worldbuilding question that plagues many chrildren’s media: why does this non-Earth and/or non-human world celebrate a holiday associated with Christianity? On a related note, this is why I’ve always thought it was clever of MLP:FiM to take human holidays but give them names and backstories unique to the world of Equestria. It sidestepped the above issue while still allowing the show to do holiday episodes.

Yeah Sonic, that’s like walking into your mate’s house and making a comment on the fact they’re sitting in the living room; of course they are!

Returning to Christmas worldbuilding questions: does Knuckles know what Christmas is? It’s been established that StC Knuckles does not know what carnivals are, so chances are he’s a version of Knuckles that doesn’t get off the island much, if ever. Unless StC Knuckles grew up with a parental figure who celebrated Christmas or taught him about it, he might not have a clue what Sonic is trying to joke about here. That concludes today’s session of me overanalysing a one-line joke.

Ah. Well, in a story where ammo isn’t treated as magically infinite, I suppose that is a rather big drawback.

So i wanted to do more Gods/Goddess's to go with who i already designed, and grown on the Univurse and stories and to help fill out @the-slender-doll Cursed God World.

So in my vurse (and depending what you read) Wepwawet is the child of Hathor and Set.

Wep dosent know who his father is, he was a weak baby when born, which lead to his grey colouring. He has a sight to see spirits, guiding them makes him sick so he chooses to ignore them.

Wep is often a translater for his mother,  and holds her dearly to his heart. He had no idea of his God Status, and lives an avaerage collage life when hes introduced. His half brother is Anubis and he looks up to him.

Wep, in lore, was often confused with Anubis, soni made him a Lycanthrope, hes just smoll and weak and stays home on the moon cycle. He is Demi Bisexual and his two best friends are also chrildren of gods who hid them away for their safty.

He had a small crush on Maahes, adores Seshat and her blatant attitude.

He hates Horus. He dosent know anything about him, but knows when he apeared before his mother, she was stressed and in tears. therefore he hates him.
