He got crumbs of it in moments, here and there, and it would be more than enough to last the winter. Chil knew how to live on little, with only what he could afford. But love? Love he had had enough of for a lifetime.

I'll start with the shorter one that I wrote first, a quick Chilchuck POV 1.3k words oneshot that's bittersweet if not just plainly sad. It’s about repressing a crush essentially, but the marchil is mostly a front for a character study about Chilchuck’s complex feelings on his marital situation and love in general. I’ve been told many times in comments that even without shipping marchil it was enjoyable, so give it a shot if that sounds interesting!

Even years after their journey into the dungeon, Marcille wasn’t quite over her existential dread over short lifespans… And it showed. Every other day, she came by to Chilchuck’s locksmith shop with a shocking lack of locks to smith.

Coffeeshop au except it’s not an au and there’s no coffeeshop. This one is a long oneshot of 17k words, and contains flashbacks that are meant to loosely span over a year. This fic can pretty much be entirely read as platonic. They’re just close friends but they give married energy is all. Slice of life and cozy with a side of banter & tsundere behavior, and existential dread hurt/comfort as the cherry on the sundae. It contains some classic Dungeon Meshi things like storytelling through cooking and sharing meals~ If you like the Marcille and Chilchuck dynamic in canon, this is pretty much just a bunch of that, shenanigans abound!

With how chil is so irritable and private about romance and his feelings it makes sense that their romance would have passive-agressive energy. Are they just friends or pining? Oh wouldn’t you like to know. Are they just lightheartedly bantering or is he legitimately pissed or are they blinking in morse code their true feelings at each other? Yes

My post-canon timeline is Chilchuck lives a nice life living alone in his house-shop except his friends all visit him and care, and even though he likes living alone it’s also bittersweet and every corner of his life is haunted by the ones he loves and loved and the moments he had with them. That’s it that’s all I want… (mostly the nice life part lol)

My marchil manifesto is that she grows on him stubbornly like fungal yeast and it brings out his flavor like beer <3 Because she stubbornly puts her nose everywhere and refuses to give up on getting closer to her friends and it makes him open up and repress his feelings less and aaaa <33 Obligatory shout out to the dunmeshi discord serv for engaging with my rambles

For someone who dislikes alcohol I’m having so much fun working beer metaphors and stuff into the writing, Chilchuck has all the fun motifs to play with fr... Traps, lockpicking, married life, work, destitution, starvation, rejection, repression, opening urself up to the world. Give me the most domestic fluff and give it a subtle foundation of angst and hurt comfort 👌

And I do think that Marcille takes a particular interest in Chilchuck especially because he’s so set on being a closed book as well. Yeah she def is like 👀 at him. Aaah the way she wants to meet his family so bad 😭💕 I think she romanticizes him & his family life/idealizes him as a virtuous husband a lot too. Like how she tends to think of things in a more flowery story-like way.

I do compare him to bread and her to soup in that he soaks up in her warm vibes and softens up. Which has become a personal favorite. He was bread, she was soup, can I make it any more obvious /lyr Soggy bread Chilchuck is so funny to me. Like, you know that rock solid bread but then you soak it in soup and then it just becomes the softest crumbliest thing. I think Chilchuck is a really hard bread that will break your teeth if you don’t put him in some soup beforehand. Or wine. I wracked my brain a lot about what food Chil would like (because his Adventurer’s Bible profile just says he love alcohol and hates sweet dishes rip) and I end up giving him a bread motif a lot, since it pairs well with alcohol and whatnot.

With marchil I either do unrequited angst because Chilchuck will NOT allow himself to feel, or the most domestic fluffy shit ever but in a mostly platonic dimension because once again -gestures at Chilchuck- But in a true Marcille "If I was Chilchuck’s wife" Donato fashion she manages to get her nose into the most stubborn’s people stuff like a barnacle and it’s. So married people coded anyways. They’re a lil messed up but it’s ok they’ll iron out those bumps. Ironing because they are gonna do the most domestic chores together 🔥🔥 MARRIEDCORE I TELL YOU I should get around to making more fics and more different vibes though, I already have a bunch of prompts written down~

There’s a very specific horror in not being able to grow old with your loved one… It’s gotta be rough being in a relationship where you don’t mature at the same speed/rate. It must be so heartbreaking to turn around and your lover suddenly looks 70 while you’re still like 26 Chilchuck living until he lives with either Meijack or Flertom or at the castle and spends his days grumbling about people being even more incompetent than they used to be real. He can live longer than 50 🙏 come on peepaw you can make it to 70. He’s got so many friends ready to nurse him, prob while he complains about it. This is why I find elderly half-foots a funny mental picture. For a while I wondered if half-foots aged visually much at all in the traditional sense, and then I remembered these.

In my post-canon headcanons I’ve adopted the idea that Marcille doesn’t do her hair, it’s always someone else making her hairdos like an attendant or Kabru and like maybe Falin learns. In the "it takes a village to raise someone" community mutual aid energy… And the rare times where the task befalls Chilchuck he learns how to put it in a single braid (even if it’s so much hair for him to hold in his small hands all at once rip) because the one time he braided it in two in canon it reminded him of Meijack and gave him psychic damage. WHICH. Ohhh my god you have no idea how much I care about Chilchuck’s daughters now. After writing the first half of Grind Me Down Sweetly I am forever changed I know them all by name and know everything there is to know about them, I am making so many headcanons every day… Meijack wears thigh-high boots because she hates when sand, dirt or snow gets in her shoes- I have fanart coming up of them over at @fuumiku and I’d love making fics centered around them as well eventually yippee The angst of old senile Chilchuck still tying marcille's hair... Old senile chilchuck confusing marcille for one of his daughters… "Have you gotten taller? Oh how much you’ve grown" -breaking his neck looking up at her- I want Chilchuck to get the top notch elder treatment.

Ok this is the alcoholism tangent. I really want to believe Chilchuck can be super old, but… Realistically he’s gonna drink himself to an early grave, he’s a work hard play hard kinda guy.

Marcille would be horrified if she knew the extent of it fr fr, but I do think it’d drive a wedge between them if she tried getting him to lay off of it… If he’s open to it though that’d be so nice and sweet. Hey hey btw did you know, Chilchuck is canonically underweight due to extremely strict dieting and alcohol can act as a good hunger suppressant! Lots of issues to dig into here It’d be cute if his daughters visit him often and collectively keep tabs on him in a caring way. It’s less cute actually beinh the daughter and having to deal with it but- CHILCHUCK IS WORTH IT okay!!! Where’s that meme of "You can fix him? So is 5 other people y’all look like a construction crew" bc this increasingly looks like ‘Marcille Senshi Laios Izutsumi and his family make sure he doesn’t poison himself like a dog with chocolate’ mission.

Truly for some people reason just flies out the window when it comes to alcohol, coherence gives way to excuses. He reminds of someone I know who got a grave disease that’s worsened by alcohol and just. Continues to take it regularly. You know that thing that’s said where "an alcoholic parent will have 2 kids, one will grow to be alcoholic too while the other will never touch a drop of alcohol" and Chilchuck is def the first I think. He gives the vibe that he’d say "An alcoholic parent puts a strain on familial relationships?? Pshh, my father was and look at me! I turned out great!". I don’t think Chil could really get shaken out of it at this point tbh, seems very ingrained in him, would prob fight it back. I relate with my own familial situation ughh. Maybe if he realized how it hurt the people around him and not only himself though…. I’d def like to see him ease up on it. Drinking is often a social activity though. That gives me hope, especially with the whole dunmeshi lesson of sharing meals, that he might be able to/have recontextualized how or when he likes to take alcohol, that alcohol is better when you have others with you and you’re still able to talk and whatnot. Chilchuck says that he’s pretty picky with alcohol tho, like he has specific tastes or a high bar. Laios can ban good beer in the kingdom and then Chilchuck just stops because it all tastes awful and he’s not rich enough to import. The brewery he likes mysteriously burns down in a fireball incident one night. Marcille risks prison for her loved ones part 2, now with diplomatic immunity! ✨

I have hcs about Chil’s family dynamic, about his daughters and how alcoholism or workaholism may have affected everyone (not me inferring that Puckpatti being the most idealistic and optimistic from Chil’s daughters is probably a result from her being the youngest and perhaps Chil being the most often at work during that time and so she was mostly raised by her mother without much involvement from him). That’s a topic for another day though, for now I leave you all with thoughts of Flertom painting flowers on a shitty ceramic mug when she was 3 and Chil begrudgingly asking Marcille advice on picking a birthday gift for Puckpatti :) Oh yeah, because if we look at the timeline in The Adventurer’s Bible and combine it with when Chilchuck said that "Due to certain circumstances he hasn’t seen his wife or daughters in years" in the Senshi backstory chapter, besides letters with Flertom he has seemingly not seen them in 4 years. 4 YEARS. Thank god dungeons disappeared, it took that much for him to retire

a/n; just some of my random headcanons about gaz because he is severely underrated. kind of a mixture of normal and relationship headcanons

definitely has one older sister he's really close too. she's about three years older than him. even as kids they got along really well and she's definitely his rock.

because of her and his other sisters, he totally knows how to braid hair. definitely got roped into it on multiple occasions because their arms would get tired.

more on siblings, i firmly believe this man has a big family-- i mean like huge. and the age range is crazy. he has two older siblings and three younger ones. his oldest sibling is 31 and the youngest is 17. and don't get me started on the pets.

(he babies the hell out of the youngest. not even because he tries to, it just comes naturally)

speaking of that, absolutely wants kids. but being totally realistic, he knows it's probably never gonna happen. even if he leaves 141 to take a less risky job, he knows he has enemies and wouldn't dare endanger his kids. its hard enough for him to date without feeling like he's putting a target on his s/o's back.

as much as i love this man, he is definitely a dog person. probably has some irrational fear of cats because of an incident when he was a kid. (now that he's grown, he knows he upset the cat and earned it, but still refuses to own one to this day)

he can't have one when he's living alone, but if his s/o is a civilian, they get one as soon as they move in together.

he does joke around (thats already canon) and he is probably the youngest on 141, but i firmly believe that's because of how mature he is.

like the guy is physically and mentally capable enough to be in the SAS.

a lot of the maturity is from being from a big family, he did end up parenting his younger siblings sometimes.

he's also just a really strong-willed person. he looked up to soldiers for most of his life and knew early on that's what he wanted to do.

definitely isn't the type to let relationships fizzle out or go sour from a lack of communication. he's pretty emotionally intelligent and can sense when there's a problem.

isn't big on PDA; he'll do hand-holding and pecks on the lip/cheek, but never anything heavy.

Alright, so I just made a Wenclair post but imma make another one right now because oh my LORD I just saw the fandom breaking reviews, so sit down and grab a snack because it’s rambling time.

I see that many of you are discouraged from the prospect of Wenclair not being canon, this is understandable as I myself am really invested in these two. Hopefully this goes without saying, but NO ONE should hate on the show, the actors, etc etc. I refuse to let such toxicity run through this fandom. Like, this is just reviews for the first season. Please, I really, really don’t want a repeat of the Voltron fandom and cries of queerbaiting (and I wasn’t even remotely near being part of the Voltron fandom! It just got THAT bad that even I knew of its notorious reputation). Again, the show isn’t even out yet. Who’s to say Hunter going ‘fighting for Wenclair’ didn’t mean the course of their relationship in future seasons? We only have information on a first season that isn’t even out yet, so please, calm down on any hate and queerbaiting accusations.

That being said- y’all telling me you’re not buckled down for a slow burn? Wednesday is a character who needs a LOT of time and effort to build trust with on a romantic relationship level, so getting Wenclair all in one season would have been cool or whatever, but it also would’ve been pretty OOC since season one has confirmed only 8 episodes. On the flipside, the payoff of Wenclair’s growing friendship, that blooming trust, the eventual deep bond between them that not even Wednesday herself can deny? Is that not peak sapphic experience? Frenemies to begrudging allies to ‘I find your existence… not the worst’ ‘ppfft, thanks, Addams’ to friends to friends who would murder fer each other to ‘you are the sun that burns and enchants me, I hope this drought lasts a lifetime’. LIKE C’MON??? THE FLAVOR?? Don’t give up on Wenclair just yet y’all. (That being said, the line about droughts should be in a fanfic so imma mark that down fer later.)

And like, I think this next point is the most important thing to note. We all acknowledged our love for Wenclair as a delusion, ever since the beginning we knew we were pulling crumbs and making silly little headcanons. Yes, I would love if Wenclair became canon. Would I stop shipping it if it never does, though? Let’s see, I am a veteran Whiterose shipper of several years. Those two barely had a conversation in the entirety of Volume 8 and I am STILL willing to die on this hill fer them. I am a Lightcannon enjoyer despite the next to NOTHING crumbs in the entirety of their respective existences. Oh, you would not believe how many rarepairs I hold dear in the Pokémon world. The list goes on and on and on. Canon is cool and all but I hoard my random ships like a dragon of ye olde. Just look at what we, the OG Wenclair Warriors, made with just a few trailers and interviews and random instagram comments. The lovely art, the heart wrenching fanfics, the god tier headcanons. I dunno bout yall, but I’m not ready to give that all up just because canon said ‘mmmm no’. If no one got me, ao3 got me.

Trust me, I am well-aware the importance of good representation and I’m not saying you can’t be disappointed over this. What I am saying, however, is that you shouldn’t always let canon 100% dictate how you’re going to consume and enjoy a piece of media. So what if Wenclair isn’t canon? Their dynamic is AMAZING and nothing can take that away from me. There’s still potential and writing room for future seasons, and to that I say buckle down homies, we in it fer a long time and a good time.

!!!!!!!!! I don't want to turn my camera so people don't see Qiaoying Village (but these two are directly looking down to the village from atop a hill next to it) if they haven't seen it yet. Now, I know through Yelan's signature dish, that Yanshang has a delivery route directly to this village. Like I knew this, but seeing people here has me absolutely buzzing. Also, also, also, also, also. I'M BUZZING. BUZZING!! I'd put all of this under a read more, but I need it for the actual little spoiler tied to a HC (non-canon-based) at the bottom, so excuse my mania.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA IT'S CRUMBS OF MY GIRL. But also!!! This makes me so happy, it's not just a casino at night, it truly is a proper teahouse during the daytime. Aaaaaaa, I'm not a 'I'm right!!!' kind of person, but it's just... it's just nice to be like 'Okay, I'm on the right track' It's like a little confirmation that she clicks, and makes sense to me, you know? God, but also, I'm so proud. She's so multi-layered and multi-faceted and this is kicking so much more motivation into my heart even if I didn't need any more (and just need my brain to calm down after months of severe stress so I can focus), but god, she's just such a good one. I love her immensely, for so many reasons. But just, this whole thing isn't even ambition, because WE LITERALLY KNOW that she isn't ambitious per se (since she refused the position of Tianshu, even if part of the reason why is also because she doesn't want to be tied down to Liyue Harbor), she simply wants Liyue and its people to be safe (like so many who live in it, I LOVE THIS REGION WITH SUCH A BIG PART OF MY HEART, guys), it's also why she patrols the Chasm. Ugh, ugh, ugh.

Also, a little liberty of a HC that isn't tied to canon, and I wouldn't suggest peeking under the read more unless you don't care about very minor spoilers (it doesn't touch on the main SQ at all, it's tied to 'The Roaming Abode', ultimately tied to a house at a tiny distance from the village itself). So if you haven't played that specific WQ yet, don't peek! But, 1005 headcanon that Yelan has 'purchased' property here, and let me talk about it under the read more.

The Roaming Abode is a WQ that starts with a little girl who tells you that her grandfather has gone missing, or rather that he's gone to get 'blessed waters' from Mt. Xianluan for this 'divine plant' that he claimed he kept in his yard that needed that kind of water. Throughout this shorter quest, you learn that this man died (and you're left to question who the little girl is, or whether she's a little girl at all), and left behind a home in Qiaoying Village. This is what's said about both the man and his home by Uncle Luo:

Uncle Luo: He was an outsider, and we discovered that he was a bit... touched in the head the moment he arrived. He claimed that he'd picked divine herbs, but the pharmacy couldn't recognize them — much less buy them from him. Uncle Luo: But he had no other skills, and couldn't make the Mora needed to feed himself, so he had to knock on doors to ask for help. We took pity on him, and decided to feed him. His house was also built using Mora the villagers pooled together.

And then continues:

Uncle Luo: No one expected something that terrible to happen to him afterward, but once it did, everyone thought that this must've been him repaying us by protecting the village! Uncle Luo: Everyone thanked him, and thus people have been reliably caring for his own home. We're almost there, by the way.

This is the house, and the view from it. Now, I think most of us know that when a house isn't lived in, it'll inevitably fall into disrepair, no matter how much people may try to take care of its exterior and even cleaning inside if possible. A house needs to know the kind of maintenance that you can only truly give it when it's lived in. So, it's a little headcanon that as Yelan actually has a good tie to Qiaoying Village, and especially as she ages (and in my main verse, develops a tie to Fontaine), that she comes to negotiate and purchase this. Not out of greed whatsoever, but because she comes to thoroughly enjoy its environment (and if you know of her lines in the teapot, Yelan greatly enjoys tea drinking and the social aspect of it through which she learns about people), and also because it's a shame to let things get neglected to a point where they may perish at some point (I mean remember, most of Liyue consists of ruins). It's not a base of operation like Yanshang is, but it is simply a home, along with the one she has some distance away from Liyue Harbor, or she may simply replace one with the other.

Also, important to note: on top of all the above, this also works in the favor of the village in general, as now the cost of its maintenance will no longer have to keep coming from the villagers who take care of it (just like the mora to build it came from them), it will come from Yelan, which can be done through the likely decently substantial profits of Yanshang.

And to note: no, she doesn't 'take it over' as she did with Yanshang Teahouse, she literally purchases it, which also feeds money into the local community. Which is something that, based on the references above in terms of her character, Yanshang's new reputation, her loyalties, her foci— I'm confident in saying wholly fits her character.

For those who don’t know, the new season of The Dragon Prince: Mysteries of Aaravos is out now on Netflix. It was original planned for this Friday on July 28th but in a twist that would floor M. Night Shyamalan,  they released the season a whole week early.

I find this tactic kinda funny given how (ridiculously) LONG they took to announce the official release date for S4 last time. But yeah, it’s out ya’ll.

I had made peace to watch the new season on Friday but noooooo, the TDP team just had to “ruin” my plans by dropping the new season a whole week early!

Why? Why did you do that!

Now I gotta be dodging spoilers for the new season for a whole week before I can settle down to watch it myself.

I know I can probably try to watch the new season. HOWEVER…I also know if I watch the new season right now, I’ll probably finish it like probably tomorrow for the latest and then who knows how long we’ll have to wait for the next season? I’m not quite ready to part ways with TDP just yet since it just got here.

I don’t just want to binge the new season of TDP. I want watch it, enjoy it (hopefully more than I did S4) and then savour it before I give my full thoughts on S5.

Outside of the one teaser clip which gave me hope for Rayllum, I have avoided any and all further promotional content for the new season since the first trailer drop.

So I know f*** all about what is to come from this new season outside of where the last one left us off. And that’s how I like it to be before I can have time to watch the new season.

If there is one thing I hope this season does is deliver more on dem Rayllum crumbs. Season 4 was painful to sit through as a diehard Rayllum shipper so I’m hoping that S5 does better on my main OTP.

While I do adore the Terry and Claudia pair (who I’m also looking forward to see being developed more for this new season), even their quirky cuteness was not enough to quell the displeasure I felt for the showrunners’ decision to break up Rayllum ESPECIALLY COMING OFF THE HIGH THAT WAS S3 OF THE ORIGINAL SERIES AND THEY DID IT ON CALLUM’S CANONICAL BIRTHDAY IN A BOOK!!! A FREAKING BOOK THAT AS A RAYLLUM SHIPPER I REFUSE TO EVER READ BECAUSE WHY WOULD I HURT MYSELF!

Rant aside, I’m just gonna simply say that I’m still very, very, VERY salty about how Rayllum was canonically broken up. The salt well still runs for that. That being said, I hope S5 delivers a little more on bringing these two kids back together…maybe.

If you’ve already watched the new season, please refrain from sending me any kind of spoilers. I don’t even wanna know if there are any cute shipping moments for the season. I wanna go into this blind and experience it for myself.

Basically there was this like... mega BotW Mipha stan who was super into Mipha/Link, and somehow by the end on one reddit thread I briefly glanced through ended up deciding to headcanon that Sidon was ,,, I GUESS??? Mipha and Link's secret love child which-

H-how... does that even work lmafo. I am scared. It just CAN'T work, because Sidon is like... toddler shaped by the time the Calamity in Breath of the Wild history happens. (And Zora age slower than Hylians anyways, so for all we know he'd been alive for like 10-15 years already.) It'd certainly make for... uh, a wild AU I guess, but it was definitely a convo that I was thinking This about as I scrolled past it:

So I don't think fandom has made me outright HATE a character, but there's definitely characters or ships that have been soured for me because of fandom tomfoolery. I think the notable ones here are...

-I kinda am like, really ambivalent about the Tenth Doctor (Also the recent Ten Take Three going on rn, who I refuse to call the Fourteenth Doctor lmafoooo) because of years of being sick of everyone being all "omggg the show just isn't as good now that Ten isn't there," and shitting on the Doctors who came after. Like, I used to LOVE him but now I'm just. Eugh. Whatever. It's almost as if I feel it's my duty to be absolutely neutral about him to balance out all the tumblr girlies screaming about how Tennant being back now is going to "save" the show or whatever.

-So very sorry, as I WANT to like it as a chronic multishipper, but Link/Sidon is a ship that has been utterly spoiled for me after all the drama that came from Sidon getting a canonical wife in Tears of the Kingdom. I simply do not want to be part of a shipping community that is that bitter when canon doesn't go their way- like, yeah we all want Nintendo to give some gd representation crumbs, but what else did you expect? Like after a certain point you really do just have to acknowledge that certain pairings are never going to happen bc of company bias and just enjoy your own headcanons for your own mental sanity. And the raging misogyny that came out of people about Yona was disgusting.

-Tragically, Fiddauthor (Stanford Pines/Fiddleford McGucket) was tremendously soured for me due to a loud fringe group of shippers who were very hostile to anyone who dared have headcanons about the two characters that weren't: they are both trans and gay. Like you dare to headcanon Stanford Pines as asexual and aromantic? You want a nonbinary Ford? You dare to headcanon Fiddleford as bisexual instead of gay? Death for you. Hate anons for you. It just got so suffocating that I had to basically drop the ship, which sucked because it was one I was SO passionate about back in the days.

King Rhoam is not a good father, nor an abusive monster, but a much more tragic, nuanced third path right down the middle where he and Zelda were close once but he decided to sacrifice his relationship with her in order to campaign for what he believed was more important- the survival of Zelda and all of Hyrule through the activation of her sealing powers. Aka I believe he had to choose between being a good father and being a good king, and in an ironic turn failed at both at once bc he simply didn't have all the knowledge he needed to make the right choices. (His wife wasn't there to provide council to Zelda when it really mattered, and he literally had NO understanding of what she needed.)

To be fair I understand why many in fandom choose to vilify Rhoam in fic, as he does provide a notable moment of antagonism in the Breath of the Wild memories, and it is VERY easy to project one's own personal "bad parent" trauma on such a character while making fan content, but I am wholly of the opinion that making him a one note "shitty father with no redeeming qualities" is perhaps the most narratively boring option as far as canon interpretations go.

Second text post in a row before I go to my parents' just to say Laura and I finally finally finally finished Great Men Academy this afternoon, and !!!! WHAT A SHOW. I tried to type out a whole thing here but I'm getting tangled up in my own words but basically to ME it felt like pure unadulterated wish fulfillment around gender stuff, being loved and seen and accepted regardless of the shape/perceived gender of your body, in a way I def wasn't prepared for a show to just nail into so richly and joyfully. SPOILERS AFTER THIS POINT

Like my god I can't think of a better end than Tangmo/trans girl!Love? Like it IS important that Love can try again next year to wish for the body she wants because it wouldn't be hopeful otherwise, but the potential of Love and Tangmo having a year of dating where Tangmo legitimately just loves and sees the person inside any body she has and can't be shaken by any sex (or gender!) changes to come is 🧑‍🍳👌👌👌 But I also have many other ships I wanted to list very quickly!!!

Tangmo/Tangmo Huge bummer that VR!Tangmo didn't get to spend more time hanging out with his favorite person!! I was heartbroken for him!! "Hey there, handsome" is how my blorbos talk to each other in fanfiction, I mean cmon, and all VR!mo wanted was to stay by Tangmo's side. Not win the race or team up for pranks or anything else, he just wanted to sit with him and vibe. That is ship fodder if I ever saw it!

Vier/Tangmo This dynamic is ship catnip for me. If the canon wasn't so good I would be otping with all my heart and soul. Not going to start adding words but seriously some of the most emotionally impactful moments of the story for ME revolve around them and I have friends I want to rec the show to on the strength of their relationship ldkfjskldsd can you imagine. It's the Love show and here I am off in a Viermo corner.

Vier/Nuclear Now the first moment I really shipped this was when Nuclear told Vier he was disappointed in him. I was like "You're not angry you're just disappointed? D-daddy kink?" BECAUSE the one thing I didn't love in the whole show was trying to wrap Vier's annoying dad up in a bow with the rest of the happy endings, I would much prefer Vier get some real space from his dad, find his identity outside his dad, and find his daddy outside his dad in a pink-haired junior who used to worship him. But also esp w/ trans girl Vier (ESP w/ happily fat trans girl Vier) via @syzyg3tic's headcanons and the way Nuclear is w/ the ladies, oh man, please let us manifest this in their future

You know what I think could be a good concept for a TFA!Sg AU? Team earth is indoctrinated when they arrive. Optimus considers beating Megatron to be a fluke and just lucky. Ratchet being harsh and wanting the best but more rigid and inflexible in his opinions.

Just… take those knobs and turn them up. An even more quiet, silently opinionated prowl. Perhaps have bumblebee actually believe wasp was a traitor because wasp seemed to be a bit nicer than in canon. (After all if their model is so common they’d have to rely on each other to prove exactly WHY they deserve this so much) and bee thinks it’s a trick.

Sari in a rebellious teenage phase not listening to a father who wants to reconnect after sidelining her in favor of his work. Megaton wanting to live on earth with his troops, not so much in harmony with humans (there are always things to unlearn sometimes) but because he’s been ostracized from their society.

Shockwave not having that hyper empathy but instead they literally blocked off chunks of his knowledge. He’ll just be working and suddenly he’ll forget what he was doing, why, and HOW. Regardless of what it is or how easy it should be to know, it’ll just disappear.

Perhaps that was a punishment he received after arcee was found and relocated onto cybertron. Swindle is still a scheme-y bastard (affectionate) but will have moments in which he claims to “be protecting his bottom line” but you see him look away and give a tiny smile and you realize that he can lie to his buyers but not to himself.

Blackarachnia spending her run time coming to terms with the fact optimus shouldered the blame for something she did. Having to acknowledge she let herself believe her own false memories because they made her feel validated in her anger.

Transforming Waspinator with the same intentions at first but realizing she doomed somebody to her own fate and that she’s just created a cycle (he does agree to enter to become stronger and survive whatever the autobots demand he face) so she refuses to let herself hurt him. She takes that deep breath, thinks about what happened, and lets him go.

+if that was foreshadowed by her genuinely finding Sari to be charming and silly in her rebellious way, and being secretly horrified by the fact she was killing her.

I was rewatching the first half of 2nd season and I really wish we got more of bottom!Brian. I get it’s his whole thing to be in control at all times and whatever but they could’ve for sure given us at least another moment again. Because from 2x14 it almost gives of the idea that while he’s clearly more ehh about it, it’s not the first time that Justin topped him. We deserved to see more of that! Ffs writers why?? And sorry for randomly just dropping this in your ask but I saw your gif set of when Brian comes home from jail and it reminded me of this annoying thought I had while watching that episode.

I think the majority of the fandom would agree with you on that point and have brought it up. I don't think it was the first or last time that it ever happened just because of Brian's demeanour in that moment. There was a slight pause and some hesitation when Justin takes the condom from him but not like a flat out refusal or "what the fuck are you doing" energy yk.

We have to thank Randy Harrison for even getting those crumbs because he fought for that scene and wanted more of it in their relationship but alas he wasn't a writer and from snippets of interviews I've seen of him he said the cast kind of had a slight input into their characters in maybe season one/early two but for the remainder of the show it wasn't welcomed. (He goes into this slightly on his podcast too, I would kill for him to give a no holds barred talk on qaf but I don't think it would be for our ears lmao)

As for why they only showed it once I think it was maybe a slight case of heteronormative writing, possibly the writers felt it would diminish the alpha characterisation they had carved out for Brian which is bullshit. I'm not saying we would expect to see it all the time or that Brian would do it regularly but we saw the level of trust and love he had for Justin buildup through the show so it would make complete sense for him to explore that with him, his one exception to many things.

The scene had such an emotional impact especially after what happened in the episode with both Brian and Justin so to not build off of that is a shame, as with many other writing choices . Should we ever get to dip our toe in this qaf universe again, I would hope the writing and dynamics would be significantly different.

But as always fandoms canon is just as true as what we saw onscreen 😌

Nightheart and Sunbeam will explode and it will be glorious

More of a hope than a prediction because I can see them staying together, unfortunately, but with the way their relationship is developing I fail to see how that's a more interesting path than them falling out. Their relationship is built on an unsteady ground of wallowing in their self pity and finding comfort in each other in hopes it solves all their issues rather than going out and confronting them.

I've said before I ship them but it's in the same way I could be considered to "ship" all those ships I suggested on the secret half-sibling reveal prompt I submitted to the Warrior Cats Rarepair Collection. I do care on some level about the romantic chemistry of the characters involved and I don't want to read about an entirely bad romance. But the main event is not the relationship, it's the moment it all breaks down and we see the emotional fallout.

Tigerstar done fucked up big time

Leaving aside the morality of interventionist politics like this, I don't see an universe in which this was a good move politically. Like, I get the guy's intentions even if I think he should really learn to take no for an answer. But with dissent among his clan brewing and governing over a population not only sure to resent foreign rule but carrying generational trauma regarding the last Tigerstar...

Like, even if Berryheart doesn't use this as an opportunity to pull some shenanigans and RiverClan remains well behaved, this whole operation's explicit goal is to strengthen a faction on the border. You can NOT tell me this doesn't end with a rebuilt RiverClan being a constant thorn on ShadowClan's side. It simply wasn't politically very wise.

The trauma conga line just doesn't stop for poor Frostpaw

We all see it coming don't we? Girlie needs a rest already but she's been cursed to live in interesting times. For her sake I'm half hoping she bails on the medicine cat position. My only concern in that situation would be Mothwing either ascending to leadership or also falling dead. In which case I can see a very reluctant Frostpaw doing her best to try and refuse continuing.

I know people hate the trend of medicine cats never wanting the job but look. It's kinda fucked up that kids as young as equivalent age 12 get to decide to swear themselves to celibacy is it not? And it's specially fucked up StarClan constantly pressures them into it.

I for one have enormous amounts of sympathy for them and even very personal empathy as someone. I used to be so devoutly Catholic my family was only half-joking about me growing up to become a priest. I know if I could've decided about it at that age I would've made the worst decision of my life.

Graypaw and Mistpaw are not becoming fully developed characters

I'm holding out hope and celebrating every crumb we get because I'm the sibling dynamics guy and I need to have things to hold on to. But being realistic for a second I'm not seeing this one. It was a damn miracle they showed as much as they did in Sky, and I think my luck may be running thin. I think fanworks will have to do it for me. Very recently I noticed the Frostpaw & Graypaw & Mistpaw tag got canonized on Ao3 and I'll read those meager two fanfics there are about them and maybe I'll write some of my own. My realistic hope at this point is that the Erins give me something to work with.

The murder mystery is going to be solved very stupidly

Sorry for being a downer about this, fellas, but so far I can't piece out a sensible way for this one to resolve and I'm getting a feeling the writing team is winging it. I could still be proven wrong, perhaps the next books are going to reveal information that will make it click. But if by the fourth one the solution still eludes me as much, I think I'll have to give up any hopes it will resolve satisfactorily.

ill be honest ( and this is a very very horrible take probably ) but i have come to kinda hate the int novels,,, like why do i need to do so much preliminary reading just to understand stuff about anything anymore ?? plus i kinda liked it when tobi didnt really have a clear backstory if that makes sense ?? to me it was more fun to read knk and just pick up all of the little tobi backstory crumbs whenever they showed up and just overanalyze the crap out of them,, so for those reasons i now refuse to read any of the int novels just out of spite,,, am i normal for thinking this or am i absolutely out of my mind, please help me

Hey bestie there’s no need to feel bad about not liking the novels y’know? I understand where you coming from it’s kinda annoying to have to really get immerse into something and read a whole lot sometimes, it’s like going to a wiki page to get context in stuff and I understand how it’s more fun to just put the pieces together to discover who Tobi really is with the little information the manga and MVs give us, like all the things and headcanons we can come up with are basically being destroyed by the fact Tobi now has a backstory and I can see why that’s not appealing at all.

I don’t think it’s a bad take but more like personal preference, you don’t have to like them just like you don’t have to like every piece of media/song Eve releases if only people knew how many Eve songs I don’t like I would be hunted like a witch.

Idk if this works as a recommendation but I think the best you can do is think of novel Tobi and manga Tobi as two different people in two different time lines, Eve said it himself, the manga is one thing and the novels are something else so it wouldn’t be weird or out of place to think of them as two separate stories and not of it as a prequel to the manga. I think is more fun that way, if we think about time lines where things just happen differently, you can play more around that idea me thinks.

I feel you are ok the way you are anon like I said, you don’t have to like or engage with every piece of media Eve throws at us. The novels are meant to be enjoyed and if you don’t enjoy them then you don’t have to read them as simple as that. It’ll be kinda annoying talking with people about this sort of thing tho bc mostly will take these novels as canon and they will most likely throw it to your face and be like “it’s canon it was in the novels” but my advice is to just ignore that. If to you Tobi has no past revealed yet then he doesn’t! He’s your blorbo you can do whatever you want with him!

Also, the little we’ve seen from Tobi’s past in the manga kinda deviates from the novels so…who knows? Unless there’s something that really ties the novels and manga together it’s better if we see both as self contained stories.

I've been strolling through your blog and began wondering about one thing: what does it even mean for a ship to become canon? Pretty philosophical, ik. If you ask Google you'd get "ship that got confirmed by series" but that's still pretty vague. Do we count any relationship? (one night stands? unresolved sexual tension? ppl going on dates? loveless marriages? lifelong partnerships? broken relationships? ect.) Even if there are no romantic feelings involved? Even if they're one-sided? After all, being in relationship doesn't equal being in love or being attracted to your partner. What about characters who have mutual romantic interest and/or deep emotional bond but never actually got to be together? I've seen plenty of ships (mainly wlw or mlm tbh) where characters have a thing for each other but due to circumstances and/or tragedy never got together. Love, after all, doesn't have to be shown by kissing, pda or explicit confessions. It can be shown by tiny gestures, sacrifices, bond they share, development, subtle messages, being there for each other, subtext ect. You mostly likely see where I'm going at.

I know it's just my opinion, but I simply can't see that type of 'love' between those two 'canon' ships. Ik definitions of 'love' and 'happiness' varies from person to person, but if I were to ship them, they became canon (got married/had kids) and were like, ahem that, I'd be the first one to protest. This isn't even about dysfunctionality, but about how one-sided it all feels...

From Business Perspective, The Basis on which a ship could become canon is To Bring Out Kids through Crowd Favourite Couples. It's as simple as that.

You mentioned so many types of Relationship like One night stands? Unresolved sexual tension? People going on dates? Loveless marriages? Lifelong partnerships? Broken relationships?. While Naruto is not a Genre to explore all of these, it sure has shown some Reciprocated Relationships even when the plot never required it.

For Example, YahiKonan is a ship which is not all needed by any logic. It didn't add any value to the Overall theme of the story.

But the Author went out of his way show a Love between 2 Orphans who lives in a War-Torn Country.

It all requires just Half a page, you know. Just 3 or 4 panels. I mean picture Yahiko as Naruto... Well, If you can't imagine then I'll help you imagine it...

Tell me, Can you even spot a difference between Naruto and Yahiko?

Especially, Pain Arc is where Kishimoto said that he confirmed NH. Well, it isn't surprising, considering Hinata came out of nowhere to jump before Naruto to fight Pain.

If the Author can make Konan to heal Yahiko's wounds... Can't he able to make Hinata to come check on her Naruto-kun and bandage his wounds for him??? Instead he made Sasuke look-alike, Sai to do the Band-Aid'ing thing here.

It's just that, at every given time the Author could've done something useful for his main 'Canon' couples, he refused to give them anything. Not even a Bread crumb of Reciprocation from the Boys' side.

Leave SNS... I don't care about it for now.

Right after the Pain Arc, he brought YahiKonan out of nowhere in just 3 panels.

He brought MinaKushi out of nowhere in just 3 or 4 pages.

He even brought an excellent closure to DanTsunade by making Dan to kiss Tsunade's forehead.

AND THE WORD RECIPROCATION IS THERE IN ALL THESE 3 HETERO COUPLES.

That's why, Saying... Kishimoto don't know how to write (Hetero) Romance/ Love/ Relationship is just a Joke to me. He knows all too well as to how to establish a reciprocated bond in as little as 3 panels. He could've very well did this for his main 'Canon' couples and You wouldn't be asking this question to me at all. But He didn't do it because he simply wanted to show the Audience that 'This Ship happened for the sole reason to bring out babies for Next Generation'.

So, To become Canon... The Requirement is to be Popular and ***No Homo****.

This is just from a money-making perspective though.

From Shipping/Shippers' Perspective, It was all about Winning the Bragging Rights about how their Self-Inserted dream came true. That's all.

Their thought process goes, 'I have been shipping this couple for 10 Years.... And Hinata/Sakura did so much for these Boys. So, I have to become Canon as a reward for all my efforts.'

In Your Ask, you said so many things about the way the Author can show Love...

It can be shown by tiny gestures, sacrifices, bond they share, development, subtle messages, being there for each other, subtext etc.

All these Gestures you listed here would have been expected by those shippers too. Am not going to deny that. At the end of the day, they are not some emotionless morons.

So, The Lack of Development or Reciprocation, Subtexts, Tiny Gestures, Standing by the Side etc... etc... don't even matter to them. They could fill all the lack of XXX with Fanfics and Fanarts.

At the End of the Day, Winning at all costs is what matters and the Bragging rights it gives them.

i can only really tell you what it was like from my perspective back in the day, and what i can say is that there was SO. MUCH. HYPE. when season 8 was coming out. people were pointing to the source material and going, wait! that shit isn’t just a gay sex joke, that shit is like - textual romance! and that’s what made people begin to argue that this time, it wasn’t bait, but a narrative that they surely wouldn’t drop the ball on. of course, now, in hindsight, we all know spn is the baitiest of bait and supreme trashfire, but at the time it truly did seem like things were headed in a new direction - and we had the textual evidence to back us up on that. i mean, i was there watching it all live throughout season 6, 7 and 8 - most of my close friends watched it, and the destiel tumblr community was on fire by the time season 8 rolled around. i wish i could find some of the old meta posts, but essentially, season 8 truly got so many people thinking that this time, the tides were changing. charlie and kevin were now part of the main cast, and there was undoubtable intent in season 8, not just from cas' side, but from dean's as well. people went bonkers over the aaron scene. this was a time where queerbaiting was at a an all-time high amongst so many popular tv shows, but there was simply no one that went the length that supernatural did. and it wasn’t just the undoubtably gay shit - it was the introduction of kevin and charlie, that incremental effort to include more characters outside of a white, male cast, which bolstered the argument that spn was finally headed in a new direction. i mean, they’d done the same shit over and over for years, surely this was a sign that they knew they had to switch things up. i remember being so genuinely hyped, along with my other queer friends, because we started to believe that perhaps spn truly was going to follow through on this. it was literally all there, in the text! one of dean’s closest friends was a lesbian. dean was in a love triangle with two men. dean got romantically flustered when a gay guy hit on him. dean hallucinated cas and altered his memory to cope with him leaving. dean was on his knees telling cas he needed him, and it broke the connection. there was just so much. anyway. having had that experience, the unfolding of spn’s ending and cas’ confession literally felt like a ‘classic spn’ moment for so many of us. we’d already been burned before by having the naïve expectation that spn could... you know, actually be normal about queer people, and write fulfilling narratives for them. throughout season 9 through 10, a huge amount of things that season 8 set up were undone - kevin was killed, charlie was killed, cas and dean were separated and no homo-ed repeatedly. there wasn’t an outrage that i could see on my dash, but myself and all my close friends just... stopped watching. there were crickets on my dash, maybe a few gifs here and there. the interest completely plummeted. there was a silent deflation and quiet acceptance from those of us that had actually gotten our hopes up that spn really was that show. when i discovered they’d killed off both kevin and charlie, that cemented the knowledge that supernatural was never going to give us what we wanted. i can’t even fully describe how fundamentally that experience changed me, but my attitude towards media and queer representation was completely altered as a result. spn has refused to move with the times, but they had already demonstrated before that they were never going to make that leap. they were in the stranglehold of the network, and the desire to retain their conservative viewership overrode every attempt to move beyond the gun-slinging sam-and-dean bro show.  so yeah, in the end, i have such sympathy for newer fans that got burned so badly by the finale, but as an older fan, i looked at it as it was all unfolding and just went - yup, been there, done that. it’s a classic spn move. i stopped giving credit to those who were throwing out crumbs of representation, when what we actually deserve is to feast. anyway, in summary, spn has expertly burned its queer fanbase for almost a decade. in response, i reject many parts of the canon and simply enjoy the fanon content, because it’s stupid and i do what i want.

In this particular AU, Palpatine’s plans get fucked up by pure, old-fashioned bad luck. Before he can proposition Anakin to join him and save Pamdé’s life, she goes into premature labor, and doesn’t make it.

Leia, his princess, is born human, like her mother.

Luke, his prince, is born a tooka hybrid, like himself. Even the markings on the ears and tail match — his little mini-me.

Anakin is, canonically, destroyed by Padmé’s death. He’s lost it. He’s a basketcase. But two things keep him from falling into despair, to the Dark side; the love and support of Obi-Wan and his friends, and the children he now has to care for.

It’s his love for those children that make him reject Palpatine as vehemently as he does when the man attempts to sway him. In the blink of an eye, Sidious goes from comforting his trusted friend over the death of his wife, to promising him his children — especially his sweet, vulnerable little kitten, whom the galaxy will hunt like an animal — will always be kept safe, if he allows himself to be trained.

Anakin’s furious, stubborn refusal is not taken well by Palpatine, who has worked too hard and too long to possess this rebellious young Skywalker in mind, body and soul. He decides that if Anakin will not give himself to the Dark side willingly, he will have to be broken until he has no other option left — and what better way to destroy Anakin Skywalker than by reminding him that, for all his accomplishments, for all his titles and power and Jedi tricks, he is still every bit the slave that he was on the day he was born.

So as the galaxy fearfully welcomes its new Emperor, Sidious gleefully introduces his Imperial court to his new prized pet.

Anakin, hands bound behind his back, snarling mouth caged behind a thick muzzle, a Force-suppression collar tight around his throat, kept leashed to Palpatine’s throne like a Tusken dog, is the sight the Emperor’s loyal subjects are greeted to when they enter the throne room.

Sidious likes to make lightning dance on the bronze canvas of Anakin’s skin, just to keep him reasonably tame while he addresses his court. But his favorite pasttime, by far, is to reach over and gently pet the boy’s ears, a false show of affection, chuckling when Anakin snarls out a frankly beastly noise — his pet has so much still to learn, yet.

Sidious goes through apprentices too fast for Anakin to even memorize their names, but he always makes sure to remind Anakin what he could have had, in the form of casually cruel remarks spoken about — but not to — his pet protégé: “This one might have made a worthy apprentice, but I’ve found he is much happier here with me, on his knees where he belongs. You’ve always been keen to kneel for your betters, haven’t you, my pet?”

Anakin is feral, wild and untamed and vicious to a fault, but the underlying threat that Sidious might — might — have his children keeps him just barely obedient enough. The man occasionally will make a cryptic comment or a threat, alluding to the possibility that he knows exactly where Anakin’s babies are, and all it takes to make his pretty throne pet reluctantly open his mouth for him is a remark such as, “You know, my boy, I’ve heard from very reliable sources that your young kit has grown to resemble you quite closely. A younger, sweeter lamb in need of taming, just as his father was. Perhaps it is time to put you out of your misery, hmm? I do so enjoy the challenge of training a new pet.”

Anakin knows it’s a lie. Palpatine wants to break him. If he knew where Luke was, he would have brought him here years ago, tortured him in front of his father for his own amusement, just to watch Anakin suffer. He knows it isn’t true, that it’s just a ploy to make him submit, make him dehumanize himself, the way his Master loves.

But it’s a risk he can’t take. So he obediently opens his mouth, head lowered, ears back, and quietly begs, “No, Master, please. I can still serve you,” shivering as that gnarled hand strokes his wilted ears, pleased beyond words at his boy’s willful submission.

Unbeknownst to Anakin, Leia has been raised safely and secretly by the Organas, and Luke, the spitting image of his father, has been raised on the run by Obi-Wan, who has spent every day for the last 19 years plotting to free his padawan from Palpatine’s grasp — with Anakin’s willful, determined young son leading the charge.

okay i hear you loud and clear about the dynamic duo and i agree. but i'm interested to hear your thoughts on hypothetically, luka/viperion and kagami/ryuuko equally being issued miraculouses by the guardian to overcome the hawkmoth/peacock joint work. what's your thoughts on ladybug wrestling with an additional love interest (assuming she didn't know viperion's identity) and likewise for adrien and kagami. two foils to add additional tension in a slice of life romance

like a four-person team? so you get secret identities AND love rivals on top of it? a love HEXADECAGON? sounds messy. i might need to wrack my brain for this one.

the reason why adrien and marinette fell for the rivals imo, is because they felt like the available versions of the ones they loved. confessing to adrien is hard, being with luka is easy. ladybug doesn't want to consider me as a romantic partner, and kagami is a great girl. so we need to decide if we are going to keep adrien and marinette as the obvious endgame in a situation in which viperion and ryuko are on equal footing, and we need to give justifications over why they would choose each other over the rivals if we do. i'm going to have some trouble forming a clear-cut storyline or anything, so have bits of random thoughts. i think i'm going to go with 'adrienette is endgame' here and try to keep it as close to canon as possible:

- we need to establish that the chemistry ladynoir have is much greater; they need to be in-sync in battles, intellectually and physically, but we also need to allow them to get under each other's skin. we need to establish that they bring out in each other things that others can't, which i think ml does pretty well actually, because marinette is never as sassy or flirty as when she's around a certain kitty.

- kagami/ryuko could be presented as someone who is lovely for her feistness and boldness, but ultimately, devoid of the sensitivity adrien is searching for. she is also pretty straight-laced and greatly respects authority, while marinette, unintentionally or not, is a creature of chaos, and is able to bring out that aspect in adrien's life. marinette also has the warmth and the romanticism to match his own. another aspect is that marinette's huge desire to be romantically loved aligns perfectly with both adrien's trauma and understanding of life, while kagami is a self-sufficient type for the most part.

- when it comes to luka/viperion, what he lacks is mystery. marinette is a clever girl and loves a good puzzle; luka is an open book; while kind, well-intentioned and giving, he lacks the emotional extremity marinette finds alluring in adrien. marinette struggles with being introspective, while adrien is interested in figuring out the core of other people; so he's able to unlock that for marinette.

- as a team dynamic, we will get in a situation in which adrien and luka might have to often play peacemakers, because both marinette and kagami have strong ideas about how the battle should go. i see kagami usurping marinette's current canon spot as a leader of the superhero team, as kagami is confident and doesn't cater to other people; marinette, as a people pleaser with deep insecurities, would probably be the brains but not the leader.

- i see luka mostly accepting other's orders, i'm sorry, but canon just refuses to give me a crumb of rebellious luka or whatever. he might end up being some sort of emotional glue for the heroes. let's just say that he'd be the ringo of the team.

- adrien's people-pleasing attitude, low self-esteem and social awkwardness will make him adopt a persona here, too. the thing about adrien is, though, that adrien is whoever you want him to be. if you need him to be the jokester, he'll be one. if you need him to be responsible and focused, he wil be. his chat noir persona is based on imitation of what he has seen presented as the way a male superhero should be. his attraction to ladybug has only caused him to amp up the chat noir persona. now, if something happens between him and ryuko right off the bat, she'll likely be able to read through him pretty quickly and would be unimpressed with his antics; if she ends up confronting him about it, we might even see some trauma-based response from gabriel's parenting. so his search for his inner self might start earlier this way.

- so, i guess the big question is: how would ryuko and viperion differ from their civilian identities? i see ryuko being a hardened fighter, who would save all her vulnerable moments for her normal life. now, adrien's type isn't exactly soft and deep girls or whatever; the more assured and bossier, the better, so i can see him falling for ryuko instead of kagami; as for luka, i think he might become more mellow and non-partial as viperion, he'd be mostly there to preserve the peace and the team spirit, apart from his superpowers; because he'd be more (emotionally) active as luka rather than viperion, marinette would fall for that side. luka and kagami seem perfectly content to fall for the civilian sides of adrien and marinette, just like in canon. am i... am i making the love hexadecagon right? i'm starting to get confused about who's who.

- who is in love with chat noir??? i... guess no one. unless we shift the plot and character development to the earliest stages possible and make chat noir his place to be emotional and vulnerable and sensitive, in which case, kagami would end up being attracted to him, and i guess ladybug would fall, too. i don't know.

- will lukagami date eventually? you know, the reason why i dislike lukagami is that they feel like the scraps that end up together by virtue of being, well... the scraps. but on the other hand, we also have some nice theming going on, with both of them valuing honesty over anything else, the daughter of the controlling and strict mother and the son of two free-spirited and wild parents, luka ending up being the second chance and kagami loving fiercely enough to make him feel like he's first... for the first time. it could work with enough development of their characters, perhaps.
