Absolutely blessed to receive this today!
This is a beer series we made with our village’s homemade brewery Máša as a celebration of our newly elected president Petr Pavel.
I had a pleasure to work with Máša many times and provided them with my acrylic paintings which were then edited onto the beer label.
The original framed painting was sent to the president and today I received the label with president’s Petr Pavel’s signature!!!
They are 5 of them, 3 has Máša, one I and the last one president Petr Pavel.
🇨🇿❤️So happy! ❤️🇨🇿

Ferment Brewing announces their first-ever lineup of year-around releases, including 12° Pils and India Pale Ale.
Tumblr media

Press Release
May 23, 2023 — Today Ferment Brewing announces its first-ever lineup of year round beers in cans — a selection of five fan favorite beers. The two newest-to-can offerings, 12° Pils and India Pale Ale, are also the first recipes Brewmaster Dan Peterson wrote for Ferment and remain his favorites. Joining them are three well-loved beers previously available as rotating seasonals — Hana Pils, Lost in Fragaria, and Nitro Dry Stout.
Each can in the year-round lineup is digitally printed, as Ferment has officially made the switch from labeled cans in order to reduce the brewery’s environmental impact; printed labels can cause issues with the recyclability of aluminum cans.
“Each of these beers are special to me in their own way so this is a really exciting moment for me and our team,” said Dan Peterson. “Nitro Stout, 12° Pils and the India Pale Ale are beers that I opened the brewery with and the latter two are finally getting their time to shine in cans. Hana Pils and Lost in Fragaria were more experimental and I wasn’t sure how’d they do, but the recipes turned out fantastic and their popularity continues to grow. I’m really happy that now drinkers around the Pacific Northwest can grab these beers year round no matter where they live.”
12° Pils is a Czech-style lager with malted barley from Bohemia, harmonized with Saaz hops from Czechia, and naturally soft, pure spring water from the base of Mt. Hood. In addition to new 16oz can 4-packs, Ferment’s taproom is now serving the beer in Czech-style mugs from side pull tap for a smoother pour and foamier head.
India Pale Ale is carefully crafted and left unfiltered to fully express a medley of ingredients from England and the Pacific Northwest. Rahr malt, Simpson malt, and wheat form a base that is biscuity and lightly sweet. A dry hopping of Cascade, Crystal, and Mosaic hops come together with East Kent Golding and Fuggle hops to impart an herbaceous and complex aroma of peach, tangerine, and red cedar without being buried by bitterness.
Brewed with toasted rice for a slight nuttiness, Hana Pils is a Japanese-style rice lager with flavor layers of wildflower, fruit blossom, and melon. This crisp and clean lager clocks in at 4.8% ABV and is available in 12oz 6-pack cans.
Lost in Fragaria is a bright pink, full-bodied sour ale, bursting with 28 pounds of Oregon strawberries per barrel and a subtle dry-hop charge of Hull Melon hops. This deliciously refreshing beer is 5.6% and available in 12oz 6-pack cans.
Nitro Dry Stout, Dan Peterson’s favorite shift beer, is a 4.5% ABV easy sipper with a delicate roast quality, inspired by the midnight black ales of Dublin. Give the 16oz can a decent shake before pouring into a tall glass for a beautiful cascading nitro effect.
All five beers are available throughout Ferment’s distribution channels in Oregon and Washington.

Prague 2022 (2 of 5)
Another overcast, drizzly drive for 4+ hours from Munich to Prague. There was a noticeable difference in the motorway as we passed into Czechia, first there was a speed limit—we would miss the autobahn and the ability to go as fast as possible. I wonder how much time it took off our drives in Germany? One more note on that, no matter how fast you think you are going in the left lane, someone will fly up behind you in a BMW, Mercedes, or Audi going far faster than however fast you are going flashing their lights. Stay out of their way, the left is for passing only!
On the way to Prague we stopped in Plzen. We would not have known the city existed except for the globally-available beer, Pilsner Urquell, brewed at the brewery by the same name. They recently contacted Three Taverns to collborate on a Pilsner in honor of their “Liberation Day” which they celebrate every May 5—the day US soldiers led by Patton advanced into Pilzen and liberated the city during WWII. Three Taverns brewed the beer, Metaleap designed the label, and it was released last month. (Read more about that here.) I can’t believe we would happen to be driving by that very city only a few weeks later and have the chance to stop and have a beer there. We also tried, unsuccessfully, to have lunch—it is a very small, very compact city, with lots of one way streets and a high degree of difficulty to get in and out of the city. We gave up and kept driving. Our reward was entering Prague well before sunset—what a city!
I didn’t know what to expect, perhaps something that looked like a Hollywood version of Eastern Europe, maybe brutalist architecture, and maybe even a little gloomy. Boy was I wrong! We crossed a river into the main part of the city passing by Dancing House otherwise known as “Fred and Ginger” (designed by the Croatian-Czech architect Vlado Milunić in cooperation with Canadian-American architect Frank Gehry; that bridge and all the others to our right and left were each impressive on their own. The streets are narrow and windy, the churches are plentiful, and the spires are nearly countless! Wow! We easily found our AirBnB, dropped off our bags and the kids, and went to park the car. The parking experience was something like parking at our AirBnB in Florence five years ago. We turned sharply and passed through two large wooden doors; to our left was a large glass window, easily two stories tall and 40’ long, looking at an adjacent apartment building. Overhead were arched, vaulted ceilings, over a long driveway that opened into the space between several adjacent buildings. Over the open space was an old glass (?) ceiling that covered 8-10 parking spaces. It was like something out of a spy movie, where a spy leaves his spare car loaded with weapons and foreign currency. We walked back to the apartment through a large park with a statue of “Good Wenceslas”, the same “Good King” from the Christmas carol! People were everywhere, hanging out in the park, drinking coffee (finally, coffee!), and the air was buzzing with energy. There were so many languages being spoken, I really have no idea where everyone was from. The best I can figure is that the city is so beautiful and central in Europe, perhaps people from all over the EU vacation there. One last general note, there were Ukrainian flags everywhere. Reading about only a portion of the history of the Czech Republic, we could understand why. They have been an occupied people for over a thousand years—by the Hapsburg’s, the German’s in WWII then the Soviets. Ukraine is much closer to home for them, and the older people there would easily remember what life was like under communism after WWII.
We walked throughout the city, constantly looking up in amazement at the ornate architecture and all the spires, and enjoyed the best dinner of our trip so far at La Bottega—lovely space, great food including hand made pasta, filet with red wine sauce, and sea bass filleted at the table with an amazing sauce of butter and mussels. Yum! Walking back to the apartment we stumbled into the old city. If all of Prague is beautiful, and congested, with windy streets, the old part of the city takes that far further. But gosh, people were everywhere, the old square was bustling and everyone seemed to be having so much fun.
The next day we walked back to old town to see the astronomical clock, the oldest in the world. It was really cool, tracking the sun and moon, and chiming every hour with the apostles passing by a window and a skeleton chiming the bell. We got overpriced candy from a shop on the way to Charles Bridge (I got a long colored marshmallow we all nibbled on for two days!) and walked over the bridge. Gorgeous!!! We then walked up the steep path and stairs to the castle (the largest castle in the world, now home to the President of Czechia) stopping for coffee in the castle gardens. Finally, we made it to the top for an incredible view of the city, watched the changing of the guard in front of the castle, and had a wonderful late lunch (lun-ner) at Kuchyn. We all had the braised hanger steak and mashed potatoes—so good and flavorful, the weather was amazing and the view was so pretty. We walked back down from the castle, back over the Charles Bridge, back through old town, and to the apartment for a much needed rest before going to the ballet.
You may recall that when Spiderman was in Prague with his friends during Spiderman Homecoming—the scene in the square with the carnival was actually filmed in a nearby town, they couldn’t close the main square in Prague to film there, and as many people as there are in the city, I can see why— anyway, when they were in Prague they went to the opera. I had checked in advance and gotten tickets to the ballet in the state opera house. Wow—the architecture of the building was amazing; none of us had ever been in such an old theater. We saw a modern program, Four Elements, which José and I really enjoyed, and the kids were confused by, but I am so glad we went. I really enjoy ballet, classical and modern, and would love to incorporate that more into our travels when the opportunity presents itself. The walk back to the apartment was late, but the city retained its bustling energy.
The next day José and I had breakfast downstairs from the apartment at a cafe called Mysak. It has existed for a century, even through communism—the interior and the pastries are amazing, as is the “deconstructed Eggs Benedict”—the best José has ever had along with the almond croissant. Sorry France. We grabbed the kids, finally awake, and walked through the Jewish quarter and over another bridge, passing the apartment we would want to live in if we lived in Prague (reminiscent of one overlooking the Met in NYC), and ending up at the top of many stairs at the metronome and a skate park—well, not really a skate part, but a place people obviously skate. No one was skating, but Alex was happy to see the first evidence that anyone in Europe does skate! We walked through the park and all around the neighboring streets passing many embassies, and into another more beautiful park with small lakes kids were swimming in and paths being traversed by tiny frogs (yes, tiny frogs). A long-ish walk back took us to U Parlimentu for our final schnitzel and Pilsner Urquell for another lun-ner, which allowed us to spend the evening back at the apartment watching Italian Job.
The next morning, before leaving Prague, we had to enjoy one more breakfast at Mysak. Alex heard us raving about it, so he got up to join us this time. In addition to the amazing food, we also got egg nog! We had seen it on many menus; apparently it is something available year-around in Prague, and this one was as good as any I have ever had—so good they sell it in bottles to go. If we could have brought it on the plane, we surely would have!
An uneventful exit from our spy parking place, and we were off for another gloomy 4+ hour drive to Salzburg…

For FWF, do you have any headcanons you'd like to share about my ultimate favourite, Draco?
Hello!
Draco is a secret hoarder of things he finds precious: broken toys from his childhood, the book his mother read to him when he was seven, the first toy-wand his father bought for him. He’s kept his Omnioculars from the time he watched a match between the Montrose Magpies and the Wimbourne Wasps and developed a debilitating crush on Thom Farthing, the Magpie Seeker.
He likes to cling on things, you see, and he likes to remember. He grew up surrounded by heirlooms and with the weight of a thousand-long family history and tradition behind him, and although sometimes that suffocates him (all the hundreds of years of expectations and obligations pressing down on him), he still relishes the idea of keep-sakes.
Out of the two of them, Draco is the one who has kept the tickets from their first time at the cinema (watching the Matrix). The T-shirt he wore the first time Harry held him and kissed him is at the back of his drawer, kept safe; the seashells he collected on Brighton beach are on a shelf along with the toy octopus Harry won for him at the Pier. They travelled to Prague for a weekend, Harry secretly anxious to make sure Draco enjoyed their trip, to make sure Draco was happy and treated as he deserved, spoiled even, and Draco had to stop in the middle of Charles Bridge, hold Harry’s face in his hands and say, ‘We could be in the dullest suburb and I would be the happiest man alive. I’m happy because you’re with me. I’m happy because I’m with you. That’s all I need. All I’ll ever need.’ They spent the rest of the weekend sampling Czech beers in pubs, and Draco peeled the labels off the sweaty bottles and kept them between the pages of their travel guide: Pilsner Urquell, Kozel, Staropramen,  Černá Hora.
He collects other things too: alchemical treatises, books on esoteric topics that Harry scoffs at, curiosities like a jade dagger with teeth or a clockwork that sings happy birthday in Babylonian. Harry jokes that they’ll need an extra room in their house just to keep Draco’s collections, but when he comes back from missions abroad, he often brings another curio for Draco’s collection just to see his eyes light up.
Thanks for the ask!

Dangerous (Part 1/2)
Description: It was your best friend’s bachelorette party in one of London’s best clubs when two men had closed a bet if they would be able to seduce you. And in the end, the night ended up way better than you originally anticipated.
A/N: Oh, we're back. For this two-part one-shot, I approached both of the idiots very differently - I wanted Sam to have this sexual hotshot energy while Cutter had more of that mysterious daddy vibe. And I think that somehow, it really suits both the boys. Enjoy.
Pairing: Charlie Cutter x reader x Samuel Drake (We stan a threesome in this house)
Playlist: Idiot sandwich that stole my heart™
Tagging: @missdictatorme
Part 2.
Tumblr media
It was just another night in downtown. The sunlight was slowly fading away, ladies wore tight and short skirts, and gentlemen were sipping whiskey in the nearby bars. And London was no different. It was one of the most favorite tourist locations since it was mostly colder in there during summer and it was the crown jewel of England. Soho and Chinese street looked especially magnificent at that time of the year.
Yet the clubs were especially full of people as well. Swedish and European students, you gonna love this, mate, as Charlie said Samuel a million times. Cutter and Drake, formerly known as Morgan, were two gentlemen in their best years. They weren't some boys who would bend you over the nearest bed without knowing what to do. No. They both were quite tall, one of them would even say fairly handsome - and skilled in the first place.
Drake, the definition of a small bitch according to Cutter, was rather persistent with choosing some warmer locations like the Bahamas or the Canary Islands, let alone Cuba, for their summer vacation. But Cutter, who was born and lived his whole life in England, told him to go fuck himself and that this year, he’ll show Drake the European hospitality and girls. Samuel had to say that these young kittens looked magnificent, from both up close and from the distance.
Norwegian girls had the dirties eyes he had seen, French girls could whisper them some sweet nothings the whole night, Hungarian girls were fiery enough to show them who is the boss, Czech and Slovak girls knew well how to handle alcohol and Russian girls were both tough and sweet as candy at the same time. Yet Samuel didn't stop bitching about London being the color-less, boring city he always saw on the postcards. What did it matter that the Queen was living there when the only location which tingled Samuel’s senses was the Tower? Yet Cutter told him that Sam hadn't seen shit yet.
And bloody hell, as British men would say when they walked into the club, Samuel knew what was the boy talking about. That was the energy Sam needed to feel alive since he was rotting in hell for God knows how long. Alcohol being poured in gallons, tight pairs of jeans, and laughter all around. And this wasn’t some boring-ass club either, as Samuel would say. People were dancing, which he hasn't seen in ages. Cutter most took him to poker tournaments or to play darts.
"Bee’s knees, I love this bloody place." - Cutter sighed and took the bomber off, walking stairs down to walk to the bar of the place itself. - "Come on, you prick, don't just stand there!" - He called at Samuel with a raspy voice, laughing out loud. Sometimes, Sam looked like a small boy in a toystore. Especially when he was looking at so many lovely bottoms and tits.
"One Pimm’s Cup and a Sex on the Beach for this lady over here." - Cutter winked at the barmaid who smiled back at him, already holding the shaker to prepare some of the best drinks in London.
"What are we? Fucking ladies to drink cocktails?" - Sam asked back, leaning his back to the bar, looking around. His eyes were doing their best to see it all - the girl with afro trying to kiss the soul out of her partner's body, the boy who had his hand in his girl's panties and the twerking group in the middle of the dancefloor.
"Mate, you hadn't learned shit while you were in London. You need to start slowly before pouring down vodka and other shit." - Cutter told him, smiling at the barmaid who brought them the drinks. She was sweet - her blonde hair was in a high ponytail and her face was full of freckles. She was just the type of girl Cutter liked. Sweet, innocent, and pretty. - "Thank you, darling." - The bald man smiled at the barmaid before she ran off to serve another customer.
"And you still think that you're attractive enough to get under a young girl's panties. Who is dumber here? Cheers, mate." - Samuel answered with a dramatic British accent, toasting to Cutter before taking a sip through the straw. Yet Cutter's grin was making him sure that he had just bumped into an interesting topic.
"You don't know what you're talking about, Samuel. Both American and European chicks go crazy for a British accent. All you have to do in the bed is talk and they cum on their own." - Cutter looked around with a shit-eating grin. He knew very well that he's right. A good portion of women was into a thick British accent and his raspy voice. The voice alone could work wonders between girl’s thighs, so being tall, muscular, and having this bad boy vibe was just a bonus usually.
"I think you're lying, brother, but what can I know? I usually put my mouth to use too, but we ain't talkin’. And this mouth can show you the universe, I tell ya." - Samuel answered with a nasty grin as well, his Boston accent being fully put to use at that point. Cutter started to laugh out loud, having Samuel clueless.
"Nice to know, I will remember that, mate. You wanna show me or what?" - Cutter asked, sipping another sip of his ice-cold drink.
"You're such a douchebag." - Samuel laughed as well since Cutter knew how to turn every single situation into a stand-up.
"You see the chick at three o’clock?" - Cutter mumbled from sipping, still looking in front of himself. Samuel carefully checked her out. Not that she would notice a man staring in a club full of people, yet Samuel didn't want to come across as a creep. She was... Pretty. As a lot of women inside the club. She was yelling something at the barmaid so she would hear her, standing there in some old sneakers. Her clothes didn't reveal that much, it was just a normal white top and a pair of blue jeans. Yet something about that face made both the idiots grin when thinking about showing her the edge of paradise.
"Yeah, you bet your fucking British ass I do see that girl." - Samuel returned to the previous position, grinning into his straw just the way Cutter did. Both boys liked girls who had that little spark about them. You never could quite put the finger on it, yet it was there. You couldn't name or label it - it was the flame of the unknown, a promise of fun or... See? Neither of them knew what it is, but she had it.
"And since we’re in this bloody town for the last night, I wanna bet, mate. Since I know that British accent is a hit with the ladies and you keep telling me about some magical Boston mouth, whoever gets the girl, wins something." - Cutter put the empty glass on the bar, grinning at Samuel, having the man grinning back. Timber was yelling all over the club and it felt 2013-ish. The barmaid automatically brought both men a shot of their finest vodka since Cutter came to the club pretty frequently.
"What’s the somethin’ we talkin’ ’bout?" - Samuel bit his lower lip when the girl got her drinks and ventured back to the back of the club where the tables were. Both of them poured the vodka down their throats at the same time, both of them having that face.
"I don't know. Maybe some expansive liquor?" - Charlie asked, but after that, he started laughing. - "Oh, I know, when I get her down tonight, you owe me a ride on your motorbike baby and night with this beautiful lady." - He offered Samuel his palm, watching Sam slowly shaking it.
"When I win, your best bomber is mine. Who goes first?" - Samuel crunched the knuckles and to his surprise, Charlie motioned for him to go.
"Ladies first, mate, ladies always go first." - Charlie smiled, asking for two bottles of beer. When Samuel got his beer, he shook his head but started walking in the direction of your table.
***
It was your friend's bachelorette party and for a reason, she chose a club in London from all the destinations, like France or Italy, she could choose. You were not from there, but she wanted something big and fancy, so she decided to go for a weekend to London. You were more of staying put at home person, yet you didn't want to upset her just days from her wedding.
"Your dinks, ladies." - You yelled, earning an excited yelling of your shit-faced friends back. You’ve been sticking to beer the whole four hours you've already spent in that God-forsaken place, you've been just fine at that moment, being on bottle number four by that time.
"You're my favorite maid of honor." - Your friend Amber hugged you, giving you a big fat kiss on your cheek. You giggled at that, taking another sip of the beer. - "These men here, ugh." - Amber moaned out loud before taking a big sip of her Mochito, watching the dancefloor with her eyes open wide. You chuckled at that, sipping from your bottle.
You weren't that interested in the men there. Like, yeah, they were nice and most of the men you've encountered in England so far were true British gentlemen, but... You weren't the type who would mingle for a one-night stand. You were taking the whole crazy trip as a widening of your horizons. When Amber didn't want to be in a club, you usually traveled around to see the sights England could give you. Stratford upon Avon was cute, Devon too, but London was a blast in your opinion.
"And you're getting married next week, Amber. Don't forget about that you nasty bitch." - Monica yelled from the other side of the table, giggling at Amber's sighs.
"I envy you soooo much, Y/N. These men are everything. Just look at these damn asses." - Amber rolled her eyes, making you both laugh in sync. Suddenly, she got all serious. Her elbow bumped into your ribs making you squeal, her head motioning in a direction of some forty-something dude who was eyeing your table, slowly walking to it through the dancing crowd. - "I think he's coming for one of us, what should I do?" - Amber panicked, looking at her engagement ring.
"You won't do shit, Amber, you're the bride." - You calmed her down, making her lips from a little O in awe. She was like that when she was drunk. The man looked fine, that was true - tall with brown hair, a rough face, and a tall body. You couldn't see him clearly, you just watched him swaying his hips in black jeans and shoulders in a white t-shirt widening with every step he took.
It took him almost five minutes before he finally got there. That was mainly because of the way he was trying to sell that nasty smug. You’ve wondered how it came that he didn't wiggle his hips out. Just when he was about to tell you something, the DJ started playing some banger according to the screaming coming from the dancing crowd, which made you smile. So he leaned in without a problem. Well, at least you knew that he had some confidence inside of him.
"Night, ladies, the name’s Samuel." - He offered his palm to Monica, then to Amber and then to you, kissing your knuckles with a smile. - "How comes that three beautiful ladies end up in a place like this... Alone?" - He wondered, standing next to the empty spot long enough for Monica to scoop a bit further away. Naturally, Samuel sat next to her, giving her a rather nasty smile.
"It’s my bachelorette party!" - Amber yelled at him with a happy smile, making you smile as well when she shoved her ring right in front of that guy's face. At least the confident asshat knew that he won't make a single move at that table. Yet Samuel rose his eyebrows, smiled even wider, and gently caught her palm to look at the ring. Then he nodded and let her hand go. - "He is one of a hella happy fella, I tell you that." - And with that, his eyes hooked on your face. Monica was watching both of you with a vulgar smile on her lips.
"And what about you, doll, you're having a bachelorette party too?" - Samuel smiled, putting his bottle on the table. Before you could answer, shit-faced Amber already started telling him your story.
"She’s been single forever, I swear. It always works or spending time with her family, like, I know she's the most responsible and shit, but I am afraid that she’ll end up alone with twenty cats, and one day, she'll go nuts." - She told him seriously. The mysterious, confident and somehow sexy guy started laughing at her straightforwardness, looking you in the eyes after that.
"I will go nuts if you won't stop, bitch, this was unnecessary." - You sighed, taking a deep swing of your beer. You shook your head with an angry face. Although, Amber wasn’t stopping there, making you even more embarrassed. - "But you are a hell of a guy. Holy fuck, are those tattoos? I always wanted my fiance to get some." - She went for it and let her fingers grace his neck. Samuel had a pleased grin when she has done so.
"I've been living in Panama for some time, got ’em there." - He then proceeded to lift one of his sleeves, showing you another tattoo on his shoulder. These were poker aces. Amber but her lower bottom, looking at the tattoos, gently touching them, traveling down to feel the poor man's biceps at the very end of her exploration. To put it nicely, you were embarrassed. Yet to your surprise, the Samuel man ignored Amber drooling over him and practically climbing over the table to touch his skin. The man sat there and watched you with a small smile. - "And I have a few more on places that ain’t appropriate to show ’ere." - He mumbled and both of the ladies next to you instantly got the horny faces on.
Amber bumped her elbow into your ribs again, doing it way stealthier this time. Yeah, he was a good looking man if you'd have to be honest. He had your girls wrapped around his long finger five minutes after coming there - there was this... Testosterone or some shit like that coming out of him. Amber gave you one of these risen-eyebrows looks and bit her lower lip once again.
"Care for a dance?" - The man asked, standing up. At first, he was looking into the dancing crowd only giving you his palm as if he didn't even care. You sat there for quite a while before Samuel smiled in your direction, assuring you that he wants you to dance with him. Which, no matter how hard you'd try to deny this, it was something that made you smile too. In a gentle moment, you slipped your palm into his, hoping that at least Amber would stop hitting your ribs.
You honestly hadn't heard that song in years. Calabria felt real like a late 2010-ish song. Was this night sort of a retro party? You hadn't heard the majority of the songs in years, yet people danced to them like crazy. And let's be honest, you and Samuel weren't that much different, because as soon as you hit the dancefloor, he showed you some good moves and suddenly, it wasn't that weird or gross to be seduced by that man.
***
To be honest, Cutter was quite in the mood when he saw that Samuel and you dancing along with the other pairs. And more importantly, you two were having fun. Sam started with his most outdated moves, slowly getting to the more erotic ones when you seemed to agree with that. The man didn't want to be punched right into his nose. Yet soon, your pelvis was brought close to Samuels and Charlie could see his friend's lips whispering something in your ear. In the reaction to that, you were laughing and soon enough, you put one of your hands on his waist.
Charlie was quite familiar with the song playing. It had some good basses and the beat just invited you to dance. You were the sweetest when you let go of Samuel, rose your hands above your hand, yelling the upcoming lyrics, that went something like... - "Dangerous? Oh! That sounds good, yeah.
Talk to me baby, like I'm your dude." - It made Charlie chuckle.
He was also quite interested in the tactics Samuel used to relax you like that. The whole time Samuel was gone, Charlie stood next to the bar, thinking about what he should he do. He was choosing a tactic if you will. Every woman was different, so he better has some back-up plan if he wants to win the bet. Samuel undeniably had the charming personality chicks liked, whether he was aware of it or not. He was a forty-something-year-old dude with the mentality of a dude in his early twenties, which was attractive too.
Yet Charlie didn't have that trait. He was a man in his late forties and it could be seen as well. He was bald too. But that was something Samuel didn't quite have - the authority of something like a daddy figure if you will. He met girls who were into that sort of stuff and he hadn't got a single problem with delivering - it was quite fun actually. To say it quickly, he was a guy who was looking mysteriously with a good sense of humor, making the chicks both screaming in pleasure and very with laughter when they wanted that goofy-guy sorta stuff.
So he figured out that it would be best to figure out what you were into and work on that since the first second he introduces himself to you on the bar.
***
"You have good dance moves, Y/N!" - Sam exclaimed happily when he was leading you back to your table. You nodded, still laughing. You couldn't believe that you spend half an hour with a totally strange guy on the dancefloor. Yeah, it wasn't just dancing obviously. Sam proved to be quite handy with his palms, absorbing almost everything out of your body while his mouth was whispering funny stuff. Suddenly, you both stopped and he looked at you with a pretty bold smile. Again, he showed you how quick he could be when his left palm put some hair out of your face. - "This was fun. So... If you would like to have some more fun when you'll be leaving, call this number, deal?" - He asked and gave you a small card.
It was one of the most simple ones you've ever had seen. Samuel Drake - historian, archeologist, and an adventurer. His number was on the other side. After giving him the same nasty grin, you nodded and pushed the card into the back pocket of your jeans, letting him go.
Girls immediately noticed you coming back... All alone without that Sammy boy. But the smile was indicating that you hadn't empty hands. Amber asked you about what happened even before you sat your ass down. - "Well, we danced and lemme say, he's a good dancer and then... He gave me this business card to call him when ill be leaving. Which unfortunately won't happen since I have to lead both your drunk asses to the hotel." - You sighed, playing with the card between your fingers. Monica took it out, smiling at you.
"I'm more or less sober, so I can take Amber home while you'll find that prince charming and have a wonderful night." - She gave it back to you after reading the text under his name. - "I would love to have a cig, anyone going with me?" - Monica asked and mumbled a few curse words while she searched through her purse for a pack of cigarettes. Naturally, you got up and motioned for her to go first, telling amber to sit there on her damn ass until you come back.
It was nice to stand in some fresh air. The night was pretty cold and it was raining a bit, but you didn't care since you were already soaking wet. Monica gave you a cigarette as well and both lit it up at the same moment. She was giving you some nasty grin too, which made you chuckle. - "What?" - You mumbled, exhaling the smoke.
"He seemed to be into you big time. You sure you don't want to call the man?" - She asked and at that moment, she seemed to be pretty reasonable and sober. Your shoulders jolted unknowingly. There was something on that promise of spending a night by his side. Sam was genuinely fun, hot as far as you could say and pretty smart. Also, he wasn't drunk that much, neither were you - so it was maybe really the both-sided chemistry doing the work. A couple of times it seemed that he's going in for a kiss, yet he rather teased you and bit your earlobe gently.
"He seemed sweet and fun and all, but what about you two?" - You asked Monica silently, still smoking on the cigarette with a thoughtful face.
"Oh, shush. We'll take a cab and get to the hotel on our own. I'll look after Amber. She was right about you being all about work or family. He's a stranger and you don't have to see him ever again, and that has some magic into it. Live a bit, come on, sis." - She hugged and you, indeed, felt confident about what Monica has said.
Sam was nothing but a hot guy you met in a club. You can fuck the night away, have some fun, wait for him to fall asleep, and then drive to your hotel, sitting on a flight home tomorrow. You'll never have to see him again.
You were determined that once you'll be leaving, you'll call the man, accepting the offer. When you were inside, you walked to the bar to order some alcohol, because Amber got to drink both your and Sam's beer when you were dancing.
It took you a moment to notice that guy. He was holding a small glass of whiskey, eyeing you with a small grin. He wasn’t exactly your type of handsome, yet there was something about that face. You spotted small stable and very attentive blue eyes. This man was huge in the best meaning of the word. He wasn't fat, not at all, yet it could be seen that there are some muscles under the t-shirt he had on. He was at least twice your age, but you got nervous when you looked into his eyes.
The difference between him and the guy you met earlier was huge. While Sam appeared to be a fairly approachable, exciting, and funny person, this dude... He seemed mysterious and authoritative. Which had woken up things inside of you; things you didn't even know were there. After having your breath stuck for a while, you returned a smile to the man, which was a signal for him to move closer to you.
"Whatever the lady orders, it's my treat." - The bald man told the barmaid, having her smile. Slowly, the man put some pounds on the wooden countertop, still looking at the lady who was serving the alcohol. It was ridiculously more than what you were supposed to pay, yet the gentlemen made clear that he doesn't want a pound back. - "Sure thing, Mr. Cutter."
"And what about you, love?" - He asked, taking your palm to kiss your knuckles delicately. That accent settled inside of your ears, fully attacking your brain. It was hot only to listen to the raspy voice speaking with the fully-blown thick London accent. No matter what you did, that man’s gaze followed you around. You almost felt like you can't escape it. Why Sam was making you feel so good and that was what made you aroused, yet this man was coming across as someone who would bend you over his knee with pleasure and it made you interested as well. - "What about me?" - You asked back, smiling at the man.
"What are you doing here alone?" - Cutter said and leaned even closer, having a smile on his lips when he leaned closer enough to whisper things into your ear. He had a firm body, just like Sam did, yet these two couldn't come across differently. - "I can do something about that, sweetheart."
Was all of this a nice dream? Two attractive men approaching you on the same night, telling you to leave the place with them. Or were they serial murderers? Or did a car hit you and you were in a coma? No, your heartbeat reminded you that this is pretty much happening in front of your very eyes. What the fuck should you do? If you'll leave with Cutter, what about Sam? And if you'd leave with Sam, what about this man? Why couldn't you have them both?
Monica more or less made you swear that whatever happens, you'll leave with Sam at the end of the party. But you felt being in a tight corner at the moment. Both men had some spark in them, one of them promised you a whole night of fun and the other one felt like a total daddy.
"That's kind of you, sir." - You winked at him, not knowing what else to say. The club was slowly getting darker, changing the color scheme as it was getting closer to midnight, now playing some Russian rap songs. Cutter looked at the couples around you, seeing many of them kissing and touching far beyond the line of decency. That was before you felt tips of someone's fingers smoothing your upper arm, gently getting onto your sweaty neck and jaw.
You could turn away from that man, yet there was something that made you push your head even closer, so your lips could meet his halfway. He wasn’t shying away at all, coming in with full force - lip bite, not too long after that, he even used his tongue, holding you close by your jaw. And this man, dear lord, he had some skillful mouth. It even made you close your eyes with enjoyment, making you moan lightly into his kiss.
"So, what do you say, love? Me, you, my place here?" - He whispered once he was done with the kiss, his palm slowly traveling down on your waist and lower. Sam did touch these places, yes, but his approach was more natural than devoting straightaway. Which made you also a bit cautious and aware of the man.
"I need to go back, Mr. Cutter. But thank you for the... Ehm... Invitation anyway." - You took the drinks, hurrying up back to girls. Your heartbeat was off the charts, your whole damn body was sweaty and since there were two rather handsome men trying to win you over that night, you were aroused as well. You couldn't leave with Sam, because you'd think about Cutter and the other way around. But you were sure that you will at least masturbate that night.
"Are you okay?" - Amber yelled into your ear when you finally sat down, gulping down. You couldn't catch your breath ever since Cutter kissed you. Your gaze traveled to her and you shook your head almost frantically.
"Another guy tried to take me over to his place." - You mumbled, gulping down your whole drink at once. Monica smiled and leaned over to you.
"And was this one as handsome as that Samuel before?" - She asked, taking her cocktail out of your hand. You turned your hand to the dancefloor, imaging both the men inside of your head.
"It's hard to tell, Monica. This one was tall and well-built as well..." - You sighed, but Amber stopped you once again. - "How can you know that he was well-built?" - She wondered, taking the last ice-cold drink as well. It was a miracle that she hadn't fallen asleep until that point.
"Because I know he's a good kisser too." - You smiled and each of you started laughing like crazy. - "I mean, he wasn’t the most handsome man I've seen, yet, he had that something inside these eyes." - You shook your head, not believing the things that had happened inside that club. It was just one night you've spent there and two attractive men approached you. One of them was American, the other one was clearly British and you knew that both of them had something to offer. But you knew that you'll leave alone once again.
***
"How did it go?" - Samuel asked Cutter once he walked off the dancefloor again. Cutter was leaning his elbow to the bar, watching you and your girls chatting excitedly. After that, he turned back to Sam.
"I can't tell, mate. First, it appeared that I have her hooked, but she left after that. What about you?" - Charlie finished another glass of whiskey, moving to beer for the rest of the night. From Sam’s smirk, it was apparent that at least one of the men is feeling positive about the whole bet.
"She has my number and when I was on a smoke break, her friend told her that she should have some fun with me tonite if you know what I mean." - Samuel wiggled his eyebrows, making Cutter frown even more. Maybe he shouldn’t go for the kiss just like that, but your body was telling yes. You were attracted to him, so why shouldn't he test the waters? It was too late for these kinds of thoughts. He probably had scared you off.
The two friends were standing there for quite a while and waited for Sam's desired call, talking about nothing the whole time. Sam had to say that he had some fun time and Cutter’s most impressive bomber on top of that. But that was when both men felt someone's presence behind them.
"You two know each other?" - A voice asked them and when they turned around, it was none other than you. Your eyes were looking at both of them and it was clear that you don't know what to think of that. Sam looked at Cutter with panic, not knowing what to say.
"It's not how you think it is." - Cutter tried to calm you down, but you were visibly upset over the whole situation. Yeah, it was a bet, but Cutter meant what he said. He wanted to spend the night with you. This was just a fun way to raise the stakes. If you wouldn't get to know.
"Jesus, I should've known that you two are assholes." - You walked between the men, mumbling something about assholes, dickheads, and shits, preparing money to pay the last drinks of the night. - "How would two men like you saw something on an ugly duckling like me? Funny shit, I tell you." - You mumbled with disgust, ordering cocktails your girls asked for.
"You don't know what you're talking about, love. You're beautiful." - Cutter told you back with a small smile, looking Samuel in the eyes. The other man nodded when he realized, leaning into the bar as well. - "And intelligent as hell, which is a huge turn on. I don't know why someone as pretty as you are even let guys like us talk to you." - The American smiled at you from the other side, lust lingering inside his eyes.
Could that be? It maybe was just a bet, yet these two men seemed to be interested. It could be a game as well - but a perfect solution to your situation too. If these two knew each other, maybe you didn't have to leave the place alone because you couldn't choose between them. Maybe, you could leave with both of them at once. You’ve never done that, but the alcohol inside your veins made you courageous.
"So, you're friends, you know each other, right?" - You asked while a smile grew on your lips. Oh, Cutter knew what is about to come and... It was so nasty that it turned him on in some kind of way. Samuel was completely confused tho. - "That means you can meet me outside the club in ten, probably?" - You asked innocently, taking the drinks, smiling at Charlie. He smiled back, leaving Samuel in the dark for a little longer.
"Which one of us?" - The American demanded. He wanted to win the bet so badly because Cutter’s bombers were the best in the whole world. But when he saw your devilish grin with the shine in your eyes, his heart skipped a beat. Oh. OH. Holy fuck. You had that spark inside of you, but neither of them would ever say that you're a nasty girl as well. At least not this much.
Sam honestly never seen cutter without clothes and he didn't know if he's ready for that, but... Life was about adventure, right? And this way something Sam knew he will say yes to. There was something on having a girl helpless, being taken care of by two men. He loved to worship women, he indeed loved everything about that, but this was exciting as well. And Charlie? He knew how to approach to a threesome. There were occasions where he had joined in and in some, he was only there to watch. He especially loved when two ladies invited him to a bad. But he hadn't a single issue with giving you what you wanted.
"Both of you, silly." - You smiled sweetly before disappearing into the crowd.

*ENGLISH* I can recommend Hungary as on of the greatest european destination to travel for modern craft beer, as it is my personal go-to. Hungarian craft beer scene is very diverse and progressive compared to ours, we in Slovakia and the Czech Republic can learn a lot from them. @monyobrewing is one of the frontrunners, you can recognize them for both their bold brews and for their signiture visual, kind of naive, colorfull styling of their beer labels. This summer they’ve come up with several seasonal beers. I’m especially found of their sours. On the picture here I’m holding their gose, pleasant, bright, slightly salty, little bit lemonade like treat. In August, they’ve released a new summer bomb, mango-calamansi Berliner Weisse, which I’ve tasted during the visit in the Brewery. I wish @monyobrewing beers were availible here in Prague and since my friend @midovark is calling the shots on brewing more often now, I really don’t want to miss out. So I hope, someone will get that sorted soon :D Like if you’d like to see @monyobrewing on your local taplist! https://www.instagram.com/p/CFr-DpOHv6W/?igshid=1e0ljrtjdjj4e

This Bud’s NOT for You
By Patrick Connelly  | Pieces of History
August 2 is International Beer Day!
When is a Bud not a Budweiser? When it’s a DuBois Budweiser of course! The iconic Budweiser brew has not been the sole domain of the Anheuser-Busch Brewing Company since it was first brewed in 1878. On the contrary, dozens of American (and Czech) brewers have been churning out barrels of the lemon-colored libation from the close of the 19th century to 1970.
In fact, Budweiser could have easily become the “champagne of beers” if Fred Miller had won a suit brought by Anheuser-Busch in 1898, in which Miller was accused of brewing and labeling a Budweiser beer that didn’t conform to the style’s traditional standards.
Adolphus Busch won not because Miller was infringing upon a trademark; rather he won by proving that Miller’s beer was a fraud that did not resemble the characteristics of a true Budweiser. Busch himself testified during the trial that his beer was “brewed according to the Budweiser Bohemian process.” That process, using Sazaar hops and Bohemian barley, was used by countless other brewers of the era, including the Du Bois Brewing Company, a small brewery located 100 miles northeast of Pittsburgh, PA.

[Translation] VAZZROCK Play of Color Series Vol. 2 Drama Track 1
Tumblr media
Here’s the translation for the first drama track in VAZZROCK’s Play of Color Series~! This is so much fun~! It’s a lot more serious compared to “Trust Me, Trust Me’s” drama tracks but it still feels wonderful to listen to!
※ Please don’t re-post the English translations without permission. Please just like/reblog them instead ^^
Under the cut, enjoy~!
Track 01: 「悩める少年」 “Troubled Youth”
[0:00]
  YUMA: Hmm… (flipping pages)
YUMA: The required units to take for this is… 48. (Yuma starts writing) And the compulsory subjects are… (Yuma circling words on paper) This, this, and this.
YUMA: And then… Ah, this is needed, too.
YUMA: I have a lot of work to do at night so maybe it’s a good idea to have them all done before it gets late.
YUMA: Like maybe… take them three times a week…?
YUMA: Ah, but… it’s been decided that I should at least take two days for school and maybe try to map out my work days on weekdays, too…
YUMA: Hm… (groans, puts down his paper and pencil)
YUMA: (sighs) I didn’t know that registering for a course would be this difficult…
YUMA: It overlaps with work so much that I’m a bit troubled…
YUMA: If it was only my solo work then I’d maybe prioritize my school work or at least try to balance them.
YUMA: But, if it’s an activity with VAZZY, I might trouble for everyone else…
YUMA: One more day until the deadline…
YUMA: I feel like I won’t come up with an answer if I think about it alone.
YUMA: Maybe I should talk about this with someone…
                                               <-------------------->
[01:25]
  (door opens and then closes)
  YUMA: Everyone’s out…
YUMA: Takaaki-san’s schedule is… Ah, a location filming since this morning.
YUMA: Ahh… I should’ve discussed this with someone earlier…
YUMA: Hm?
(Ruka is arranging cans on the shelf)
RUKA: Ouka-kun, where do I put this? Oh, this one goes here. This one’s… Ah, there’s one like this here already.
RUKA: Um… Ah, this, this! This one goes here and the fruit ones go inside here… Alrighty!
RUKA: Yay~! This should do it.
OUKA: Thank you, Ruka. It’s a big help that you’re here.
OUKA: If it were just me alone, I’d be absolutely puzzled about where to stock that huge amount of canned goods.
RUKA: I got a bit scared when I saw you just standing still there though~
RUKA: It’s completely fine with me~ I guess I’m the lucky one here~!
RUKA: I can take what I want from these canned goods, right~?
OUKA: Yeah, go ahead. It’s not an amount that I can finish by myself after all.
RUKA: True. The boxes were filled to the brim, huh.
RUKA: Though, I guess since they’re canned, they can be stored for a long time.
RUKA: Still, the dorm feels more like a dorm now, doesn’t it?
RUKA: Wait… I’m amazed you could even bring all of them here.
RUKA: The boxes were filled with cans, right? Weren’t they extremely heavy?
OUKA: Of course I couldn’t carry them by hand so, I borrowed a cart from the agency.
RUKA: Well, I guess that’s the obvious choice~!
RUKA: They were from a model friend of yours overseas, right?
OUKA: Yeah. A few years ago, we did an event together on stage and we’ve been in contact ever since.
OUKA: He’s an Austrian living in Czech right now.
RUKA: !!! That’s a bit complicated.
OUKA: He is a bit strange but he is an interesting person.
RUKA: Well, he does send canned goods without any prior notice so… I can tell that he is a bit strange!
OUKA: (chuckles) It seems like he’s really into them right now.
OUKA: It looks like he enjoyed it so much that he couldn’t wait to recommend it to someone else.
RUKA: Heh~ It’s true that there are a lot of labels that I’m interested in!
OUKA: Like, which one?
RUKA: Um… (Ruka reaches over to the shelf) Like these ones!
RUKA: Now that I take another look at them, these cans look kinda fancy ♪
RUKA: Look, look! This one’s so colourful and so pretty~!
RUKA: The label looks like a picture book but oh my♪ It’s aged sardines! It’s iwashi, right? (1)
OUKA: Ruka’s hobby is… collecting beer cans, correct?
OUKA: Do you like shiny things?
RUKA: Wow, you say that like I’m a crow, huh… Though, I like them!
RUKA: (humming) Ah, look at this, look at this~! This cute one looks like it could be used for decoration, right?
RUKA: The big ones over here can be used to hold accessories and stuff after it’s been washed and cleaned~
RUKA: Isn’t it fun thinking about them like that~?
OUKA: It looks like you’re enjoying this a lot more than I am.
YUMA: (approaches them slowly) Um…
RUKA/OUKA: Hm?
                                                <-------------------->
[04:30]
YUMA: Good afternoon, Ouka-san and Ruka-san.
OUKA: Yeah.
RUKA: Oh, it’s Yuma-kun~! What’s up, what’s up~?!
RUKA: It’s a weekday afternoon, y’know? What about school?
RUKA: Oh yeah! You already graduated [from high school]! And you recently got accepted to college~!
RUKA: You went from a high schooler to a university student! From DK to DD! (2)
RUKA: Congratulations~!! (clapping)
YUMA: A-ah, yes… (chuckles) Thank you very much.
OUKA: Oh yeah, now that you mention it. Let me congratulate you as well, Yuma.
OUKA: I’ll send you something as a congratulatory present later.
RUKA: I’ll treat you to a delish dinner as a present, too~!
YUMA: (chuckles) That makes me happy.
RUKA: Oh? What’s really wrong? You’re looking glum, Yuma-kun.
YUMA: It’s um… Actually… I have something I wanted to consult with you about university…
RUKA/OUKA: Hm?
                                             <-------------------->
[05:23]
RUKA: I see. Registering for courses. How nostalgic~
RUKA: It’s the number one most surprising change you face after graduating high school, huh?
YUMA: It really was a shock…
RUKA: I figured it would be~ I mean, not once in my life have I ever had to decide my own schedule. But then, they handed me the list of schedules.
RUKA: “We offer guidance too but, please decide on your own first!” is what it felt like.
RUKA: It gets puzzling sometimes, doesn’t it?
YUMA: Exactly…! (Yuma suddenly stands up and slams his hands on the table) That’s exactly it!
RUKA/OUKA: O-oh…!
OUKA: Oh… It looks like this guy’s being driven to a corner more than I thought…
RUKA: That’s right…
YUMA: I-I’m so sorry… (clears throat and sits back down)
YUMA: I know how to do it because it was explained to us.
YUMA: I do but… I keep wondering about whether this is enough or if maybe there’s a better way to arrange them…
YUMA: It made me think about a lot of different things.
YUMA: It sounds pathetic, I’m aware…
OUKA: Nothing about it really is though.
RUKA: By the way, what about your partner Nao-kun? He just entered university too, didn’t he?
YUMA: I chose a different school and department from Nao so the process of registering was different for both of us.
YUMA: Plus, it seems like the first years in his school have a lot of subjects to do that they don’t have that much free time.
YUMA: He told me that he didn’t have to think it through much.
RUKA: I see. I guess it’s true that it’s different for each place.
YUMA: Ruka-san’s already graduated from college, right…?
RUKA: Yup~ I’m a university graduate.
RUKA: I went to the same university as Gakkun but I was in the Sociology Department. Gakkun was in the Business Administration Department.
RUKA: Our departments were different.
OUKA: Sociology Department and Business Administration…? Is that so?
RUKA: Oh, you didn’t know?
OUKA: Yeah. I knew that you two were in the same school for elementary, middle, and high school as well as university but…
OUKA: I feel a bit upset hearing that now after knowing that information.
RUKA: (laughs) I’ll talk about it as much as you want if you just asked~
RUKA: If you’d like, I’d be willing to let you interview me~
RUKA: Though, I have no idea of your academic background so I may ask you a lot of things about it.
RUKA: You’re a university graduate too, aren’t you, Ouka-kun?
OUKA: As far as I’m concerned, yes.
YUMA: As far as you’re concerned…? Meaning?
OUKA: I’ve been doing work since I was very young after all. I didn’t have much time to actually attend university.
OUKA: I managed to pass somehow by passing reports and theses papers.
YUMA: I-I think it’s amazing how you can pass with just that…!
RUKA: Oh, here, here~! I attended university normally, y’know~?
RUKA: I guess this is my time to shine, huh!
RUKA: Leave it to me, Yuma-kun!
YUMA: Yes, Ruka-san!
                                             <-------------------->
 [08:03]
YUMA: This might be too sudden but… You debuted when you were in your first year at college, didn’t you, Ruka-san?
RUKA: I totally did~ But, I was a totally nameless actor then though.
RUKA: I was doing work as an extra here and there, too.
RUKA: I did have a lot of chances standing on stage but they were all just minor roles.
RUKA: Ya know, like, there weren’t even any lines for me at all.
OUKA: It’s kinda hard to imagine that now since you’re a shining actor who takes center stage nowadays.
OUKA: I guess you could call that your lowest social stage.
RUKA: Totally~ Still, even if I wasn’t at all successful then, it’s not like I was destitute~! It’s totally not a tragic story at all!
OUKA: Eh?
RUKA: I mean, I am a part of a huge agency like TsukiPro after all.
RUKA: I had a lot of other complex jobs that I did. Thanks to that, I had tons to do and I didn’t worry about what I’ll eat afterwards.
RUKA: Someone I know who’s been acting for as long as I have did part-time jobs while acting, too. Still, there are a lot of stories of people doing that but still only scraping by so, I’m grateful for what I had.
YUMA: Were you already in the dorms then, too?
RUKA: Yup, I was~ In other words, I didn’t have to worry about rent and the electric bill~!
RUKA: That was a big deal, too, huh.
YUMA: That’s true…
RUKA: Oh, by the way, I wasn’t living in this dorm when I was in university.
YUMA: Eh? Is that so?
RUKA: Yeah! Back then, I was living in a much smaller building in the Okubo area. It was kinda like an apartment.
RUKA: It’s three floors and only 5 minutes to the station~!
RUKA: The rooms were… Wait, I think they were kinda like a 1-LDK kinda thing…? (3)
OUKA: I didn’t know that we had dorms in Okubo, too.
OUKA: Shibuya, Okubo, and here, huh…
YUMA: I heard that there were dorms in the Akihabara District, too. Oh, and around Akasaka as well.
YUMA: The other employees have their own dorms, too, correct?
RUKA: It seems like there are some rooms that the agency lends occasionally.
RUKA: Like for meetings and for fittings. Oh, and since there are people who miss trains often because of the nature of their work.
RUKA: They lend out rooms for them to sleep in when that happens~!
YUMA: So we had stuff like that, too…
OUKA: I know about that part. It seems like Takaaki uses them sometimes.
OUKA: There’d be a huge scandal if he were to stay in a run-down hotel, right?
YUMA: I see…!
RUKA: So, going back to the topic~
YUMA: A-ah…! Yes, sorry for going out of topic.
RUKA: So, let’s conclude~!
RUKA: You’ll be okay. It’s possible to balance school with work after all! Rest assured~
RUKA: And if you’re having trouble with your schedule, you can just discuss it with your manager—ah, wait, you don’t have your own yet. You can ask Takaaki-kun, your leader!
RUKA: I think it would be best to decide while talking to an agency office staff, too~!
YUMA: Consult with an office staff…?
OUKA: You’re making a face that’s saying you didn’t think of that possibility.
YUMA: Ah… Y-yes, that’s right…
YUMA: I see… It concerns work so I have to consult with the people at the agency, too, don’t I?
RUKA: Exactly~! When you do, put into mind what your aspirations are, okay?
RUKA: In the first place, the schedule is for you to decide your own curriculum since its purpose is for students to think of what they want to be in the future and to think of what they want to learn.
RUKA: First, you have to think of what you want to learn for what you want your future to be, Yuma-kun~
RUKA: You have to have that clear in your head.
YUMA: It’s true… You’re right…
YUMA: My future… What I want to learn…
RUKA: Think, think, oh young one~! And then, go attack the agency!
YUMA: I’ll think about it carefully for now.
RUKA: Hm?
YUMA: Would it be alright to discuss with the agency what I have written for my own?
YUMA: I’m worried that they might think it’s a bit selfish of me.
RUKA: What~!? No way! What are you saying? Of course, it’s going to be fine!
RUKA: The reason why the office staff and the managers are here is to support you with all of that~
RUKA: Right, Ouka-kun~?
OUKA: Yeah, it’s as Ruka says. It’s a necessary step for work.
OUKA: There’s no way that they’ll think of it as selfish.
OUKA: If you have concerns or things you want some help in, I think it would be a good choice to consult with them about it, too.
OUKA: Plus…
YUMA: Plus?
OUKA: This might seem a bit harsh when you’re at a loss but…
YUMA: Please tell me, Ouka-san.
OUKA: Well then, Yuma…
OUKA: Not consulting with the agency about hindrances you might experience at work is… a bit unprofessional, don’t you think?
OUKA: Deciding that it’s impossible without telling anyone about it and then saying “I can’t do it,” at a crucial time is much worse.
YUMA: (quietly) Ah… Y-yes, you’re right…
OUKA: A-ah, no, I…
RUKA: Still, asking someone older than you for advice is a bit of a hard hurdle, huh?
RUKA: But, I totally get what Ouka-kun’s trying to say. I totally do! That’s important, too~!
RUKA: Like, you know how it’d be a huge tragedy if someone says, “I’ve hurt my foot,” right when the big play’s about to start?!
RUKA: The people around you have to fix it as soon as they can and there’s the possibility that everything we’ve worked hard at rehearsal will go to waste.
OUKA: Ruka… // YUMA: Ruka-san…
RUKA: That. Is. Why~!
RUKA: Yuma-kun! You have one choice!
RUKA: You have to use me, Ouka-kun or Takaaki-kun as much as you want when you’re troubled about something!
YUMA: (chuckles) “Use,” you say?
RUKA: Alright, I’ll re-phrase it! You can rely on us~!
YUMA: Rely on you…?
RUKA: Yup, rely on us. That’s important, too.
OUKA: That’s right.
YUMA: Eh?
OUKA: I’m not good at putting it into words. Even if I try to say the same thing, I end up saying it in such a harsh way.
OUKA: Even so, I… We’re your friends. Don’t forget that.
OUKA: If you have to fight then, the agency will fight with you.
YUMA: Ah… Ouka-san…!
OUKA: F-first, you have to be clear of your feelings and what you want to do. Everything starts from there.
YUMA: Yes… (Yuma stands up) Yes, you’re right! I feel so refreshed now.
YUMA: Ouka-san, Ruka-san, thank you very much. (Yuma bows)
RUKA: O-o-oh~! I’m so relieved~!
RUKA: The frown on Yuma-kun’s face has disappeared~!
YUMA: E-eh…? Was I frowning…?
OUKA: A little bit, yeah.
YUMA: A-ah…!
RUKA/OUKA/YUMA: (laughs)
                                             <-------------------->
  [15:03]
OUKA: If he found out that you had this kind of conversation with us… Takaaki would probably feel a bit sad.
YUMA: E-eh…?
RUKA: Is that you speaking from his point as a leader?
OUKA: I’m sure he probably won’t cry but, I think more so than being a leader he… He loves taking care of people more.
RUKA: (laughs) I see now~! Something like, “I wish you relied on me, too!”
OUKA: That’s it exactly.
YUMA: I-I’ll go and contact Takaaki-san later about it, too. (nervous chuckle)
OUKA: (smiles) Please go do that.

If you have been paying attention to my IG stories, then you know, that I, (under the instruction and guidance of @modistbrewing) have made a beer! As an ode to the land I love so much, we have made a delicious Czech style lager! Bright and crisp like world famous beers of Bohemia, brewed with a little plum as a nod to the homemade Slivovice of Moravia, and labelled in the traditional Czech degree system of beer classification, the “Astronautalis 11º” is to be served cold, in a tall glass, with a glorious mountain of foam on top! if you are in MPLS, come on out to @modistbrewing on Saturday, to celebrate their 3rd anniversary, and enjoy this beer, while I play a free show! Should be a damn fine time! Shout out to @andymcalpinedesign for the BEAUTIFUL can design! With a focus on expanding canned options, along with a refreshed look, Buoy Beer announces their upcoming releases in 2022.
Press Release
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ASTORIA, OREGON - Buoy Beer Company released their 2022 beer calendar of year-round, rotating, and specialty beers. Pacific Pale, a new recipe launched in Fall 2021, joined the year-round can lineup fitting in well amongst the Czech Pilsner, Buoy IPA, and Cream Ale favorites. Rotating 12oz cans will include Dunkel Lager, Helles Lager, and introduce NW Red into the July-October schedule while 16oz seasonal cans and draft availabilities will include Baltic Porter, Another IPA, Kölsch, and Strong Gale. Speciality bottles will include the fifth year of Love, Lost at Sea to be released in February and the fourth bottling of Decapitator scheduled for November; the Foeder series will be in 2023. Buoy Beer will also add a rotating lager series packaged in 16oz cans, beginning in March.
“Over the last few years, the size of our brewing operation meant we could only produce a limited number of beer styles and varieties,” says Kevin Shaw, Director of Brewery Operations. “But earlier this year we installed a new 50bbl brewhouse, more fermentation capacity, and a higher speed canning line. This will allow us to increase the amount of beer we produce and the spectrum of styles we brew, as well as improve our beer's overall quality and consistency. One of the things we're excited about is the ability to introduce a new 16oz rotating lager series. We have always been a big fan of lagers here at Buoy and have made a bunch of them over the years, but most have been small-batch beers enjoyed at the brewery. This series will allow our brewers to explore the many wonderful lager styles and share them with our fans in an exciting new package.”
Buoy's lager series will include 5 different lagers in 2022, beginning with a Maibock this March. Extensive lager research and development has been done at the brewery since 2014 and the brewers have dozens of thirst-quenching recipes to explore, tweak, and refine into high-quality, well-produced cold Buoys. The lager series will rep the new 16oz label design for a fresh take on traditional lagers.
“We're excited for the opportunity to showcase additional SKU innovations along with thrilling new branded 16oz cans in 2022,” says Jeremiah Smith, Sales Director. “Our seasonal lineup has been growing in popularity and availability and we look forward to being able to produce more draft varieties and present this line's new look.”
The seasonal rotating lineup debuted at the beginning of 2020 with high hopes of pints being poured all over Oregon and Washington. While the world had other plans, Buoy pivoted to packaging the Baltic Porter, Another IPA, Kölsch, and Strong Gale in 16oz cans in 2021. However, 2022 renews the dream of tall frothy pints of these delicious brews being filled at the tap and cracked open at home.
“More beer in 2022!,” says Matt Jones, Head Brewer. “Pacific Pale has been a hit this fall, and we're stoked for more people to get their hands on this new, crisp, crushable beer along with more seasonal beers, rotating cans, and the addition of the lager series. We look forward to next year and getting everyone's hands on a cold Buoy.”
The rest of the lager series styles will be released throughout the year. Stay tuned for news about this package lineup and numerous draft-only options throughout the year.

PALLBEARER | release new song 'Atlantis' + sign to Nuclear Blast worldwide
Tumblr media
Revered purveyors of their own critically celebrated style of doom infused progressive rock/metal, PALLBEARER, have expanded their relationship with leading metal label, Nuclear Blast Records, announcing today that they’ve signed a worldwide deal for the band’s highly anticipated fourth full-length album.  “We are very honoured to announce that we have signed a worldwide record deal with Nuclear Blast. We had the great privilege of working with them on the European distribution of our previous album, and it was quite clear that this was the next logical step for us. We greatly look forward to continuing our work with Monte Conner and his legendary team at the label, as well as being included amongst a truly unparalleled group of some of heavy music’s greatest artists of the modern era.” - PALLBEARER In timing with the signing announcement, PALLBEARER has released a new single, 'Atlantis' as part of Sub Pop Records’ recently revived “Singles Series.” The single is available for streaming here https://geni.us/Pallbearer_Atlantis   “We’re very excited to finally be able to share another piece of new material with you. As many of you probably know by now, Pallbearer has always been very “album-oriented” — when we are writing music, it’s often with the big picture in mind. However, we also thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to release pieces that might not necessarily fit into a larger album. Thanks to the Sub-Pop Singles Series, we were thrilled to have the chance to write a brand new song, ‘Atlantis’ plus also document how ‘Thorns’, a song from our previous LP had taken on a different bit of attitude after being road-worn for a couple of years.” - PALLBEARER
PALLBEARER has also announced a handful of USA summer dates, including shows with BARONESS and two special home-state shows where the band will be performing Sorrow and Extinction in its entirety.    “Things have been relatively quiet on our front here, after wrapping up the Heartless touring cycle last October — but we’re coming out of our album-writing hibernation period to perform some select shows in July.   Things didn’t quite line up for us to perform a show commemorating the 10th anniversary of the band last year, but we’ll be performing two dates in our home state that will unofficially be a celebration of one whole decade of Pallbearer in the books so far! We’ll be performing Sorrow & Extinction + other selections from our history at both of these shows. We’ve also teamed up with our esteemed friends at Lost Forty Brewing to bring a new limited beer, a Czech-style Pilsner dubbed “The Legend” (plus other surprises!) which will be available at these dates.”   And, since these two Arkansas dates are over a week apart, we managed to sneak a few other regional shows in there too. Hope to see you there!” - PALLBEARER   PALLBEARER USA Tour Dates: July 13 - Little Rock, AR - Rev Room * July 18 - Oklahoma City, OK - 89th Street July 19 - Columbia, MO - Rose Music Hall July 20 - Kansas City, MO - Riot Room July 21 - Fayetteville, AR - George’s Majestic * July 30 - Nashville, TN - Cannery Ballroom + July 31 - Birmingham, AL - Saturn + * Playing all of Sorrow & Extinction in entirety +with Baroness
Pallbearer's latest studio album 'Heartless' was released in 2017, it is available to order physically HERE and digitally HERE. 'Heartless' was recorded entirely to analogue tape at Fellowship Hall Sound, Little Rock, Arkansas between June and August 2016. The record was produced by Pallbearer, and mixed by acclaimed producer Joe Barresi (Tool, The Melvins, QOTSA, Fu Manchu). Engineering was handled by Jason Weinheimer and Zach Reeves, and mastered by Grammy winning mastering engineer Dave Collins (Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper and Soundgarden). 'Heartless' achieved widespread critical acclaim in 2017, landing countless impressive 'end of year list' scores such as the #1 'Best Metal Album' slots at The Quietus and Heavy Music HQ.  Initially formed in 2008, Pallbearer grew from the fertile underground metal scene of Little Rock, Arkansas - releasing their debut full length ‘Sorrow and Extinction’ in early 2012. The record made an immediate and immense impact on die-hard doom fans and metal critics alike, also forming the four piece fans outside of the metal scene. Hailed by Rolling Stone as the #1 metal album of 2012, the album also received the coveted ‘Best New Music’ stamp of approval from Pitchfork and landed the band on end of year lists at SPIN and NPR. Their formidable sophomore record, 2014’s ‘Foundations Of Burden’ featured on countless critic’s end of year lists and cemented their reputation as an unstoppable and emotive force - driving doom beyond its imagined limits, carving themselves an entirely original path through the realm of heavy music. The record charted in the Billboard Top 100, achieving Pitchfork’s ‘Best New Music’ accolade and Decibel’s highly honoured ‘Album Of The Year’ award.
