DJ Shadow - Six Days
2002
Colonel Bagshot were an English rockband formed in the late 1960s in Liverpool, England. The band released one studio album, Oh What a Lovely War, in 1971, which included their best-known song, "Six Day War". Listen to it here!
In 2002 it was remixed by DJ Shadow and titled "Six Days", from his second album The Private Press. Listen to it here! A hip-hop version of the song featuring Mos Def was used in the end credits for the film Phone Booth (2002), and was also used for two films of the Fast & Furious franchise: Tokyo Drift (2006) and Furious 7 (2015). Mos Def has previously been featured on the polls at #61 with Gorillaz' "Stylo".
