Hero Flug AU What would happen if Flug takes off the paper bag? Or if Flug's family came to visit, now that he is a hero?

Hi @rynowolf ,

My theory is that Men Without Hats is an organization that would do anything in order to defeat Black Hat. They have established themselves as an anti-Black Hat Organization/Cult, but the things that they have done in order to achieve their goals are almost as evil as Black Hat Organisation/Cult.

I believe that the Men Without Hats have a "if you're not with us, you're against us" mentality so they are currently hunting down Flug, with the intention of persecuting him for leaving the family (no matter what his reasons are).

The family members have distinctive features, due to their heritage, (and/or some form of magic) that make them appear disgusting only to Black Hat but they actually look beautiful to others.

In Villainous (Flug's wiki), it is mentioned that Flug hides his face because Black Hat finds his face disgusting and that Flug hates the bag but is sometimes grateful for it.

My theory is that Flug hates that he has to hide who he is, but is grateful that he doesn't have to look in the mirror and to be reminded about who he is (and his past).

In the HeroFlugAU, Flug has to hide his face because being a hero means being in the public eye, meaning a higher chance that his family will find him, so it is better for him to hide his face.

If his faced is revealed, there is a high chance that he will have a confrontation with his family.

Flug told GoldHeart about his past because he knows P.E.A.C.E. will be caught in the cross fire if he "reforms" and become a hero. And he asks GoldHeart if he thinks that it was still worth it for him to be a hero, with the conflict that he might cause between the 2 organizations?

GoldHeart says, yes, Flug joining P.E.A.C.E. and becoming a hero is definitely worth a lot more than their tentative alliance with the Men Without Hats.

He explains that P.E.A.C.E. and the Men Without Hats has a tentative and volatile alliance, because P.E.A.C.E. has a goal of fighting and defeating villains while Men Without Hats has a goal of fighting and defeating Black Hat which is associated with villains. (The enemy of my enemy is my friend)

But their methods of dealing with the enemies are so different and contradictory to one another that the 2 organizations often butt heads and this is also a source of tension and conflict with one another.

He also anticipates that the fight with the 2 organizations would happen eventually, Flug being there just speeds things up a little bit and at least with Flug on their side they will have an advantage.

GoldHeart says that if Flug becomes a hero and joins P.E.A.C.E., that when it comes down to it, he is willing to fight for Flug with the help of the other heroes to back him up against the Men Without Hats.

I haven't decided but for the HeroFlugAU, I might create 2 different versions:

A) Flug has to confront and fight his family. GoldHeart is going to push for the conflict and use Flug's knowledge of the Men Without Hats and his family to win in the fight against them. This is so that Flug would not be persecuted by the Men Without Hats and for GoldHeart to get their resources and technology for P.E.A.C.E. for their own personal gain, without the tedious task of maintening their alliance. The alliance between P.E.A.C.E. and the Men Without Hats is terminated.

B) A compromise is met between the 2 parties. Flug and GoldHeart (along with Demencia and 5.0.5. I haven't decided if they are going to be in the AU) will have to track down and rescue Aldo Maldonado from a Black Hat Cult (which I believe is somehow involved in the 2 organizations and because "he knows things") and bring him back to the Men Without Hats in exchange for a bargaining chip so that they will not persecute Flug. The alliance between P.E.A.C.E. and the Men Without Hats strengthens.

truly, im grateful 2 even have a family doctor and i generally have no problems with it bring thru a teaching hospital and some of the residents ive seen have been genuinely great but like. sure does leave just a little something 2 be desired re: continuity of care when ur seeing a different resident practically every visit, even for follow-ups.......

#its fine its fine its fine but also. hate explaining my history every time. esp mental health history. i feel like it uhhh #maybe colours certain things a certain way. when i would rather have w/e my current issue is addressed in isolation from that....#aldo just like. general knowledge. 'oh are u working or in school or what?' 'oh what are you studying/what do u do for work?' etc etc etc #like not that id expect those details to necessarily be remembered even if i was seeing the same doctor every time but its just. idk. :/#ALTHO one of the first doctors i saw when i started going to the doctor again at 15 or so was a resident and she was sooo good #dr poitier come baaaaack :((((

Going into the Rumble no one knew how Michaels would fare as he had been advised by doctors to retire from the sport due to complications from injuries he had sustained in an unprovoked non-wrestling-related attack outside a Syracuse, New York, nightclub. But Michaels was undaunted. He was determined to continue his career and his quest for the WWF title despite numerous pleas from his doctors and close friends (Ed. Note: See related story on page 16), and despite the great odds “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels accomplished his dream.

To win the 1996 Royal Rumble Shawn Michaels had to withstand a barrage of punishment from quite a few very tough men. On his way to victory Michaels personally eliminated Vader, Yokozuna, the 1-2-3 Kid, Jerry Lawler, Owen Hart, Dr. Yankem and the British Bulldog. After everyone else had been eliminated the only man left was his good friend and former champion. Diesel. Then, using a swift side karate kick, Michaels sensent the seven- foot ex-champion sailing right out of the ring. With This Shawn Michaels had done the seemingly impossible: He won the Royal Rumble for the second straight year.

With his victory in the 1996 Royal RUmble, Shawn Michaels earned the right to wrestle the WWF champion on March 29 at Wrestlemania XII in Anaheim, California.

An AU where Fabius is a Hollywood plastic surgeon.

Where this sudden change of heart came from and why - it's better not to ask when luck favours you so much. An interview with Hollywood's most sought-after, exclusive and undoubtedly most reclusive facesculptor! Well, at least initially with his spokesperson? Assistant? No explanation was given and there is nothing on the tasteful, very blank business card. Not even an email address. Or a telephone number. Anyone who has to ask for it hasn't understood how things work around here.

So now this lobby in a building far enough removed from the city to have an undisturbed hill overlooking the Pacific to itself (presumably at the price of the gross national product of a Central American country). A strangely brutalist-beautiful house that looks like a James Bond villain gave Aldo Rossi free rein.

Dr Bile has never before answered an interview request, let alone positively: why now, of all times, and from a magazine that is not exactly Lancet - it is inexplicable!

It is not particularly inviting yet. Two women who could not be more different and yet look equally unreal without flaunting the artificiality of too much plastic surgery stand with the noncommittal vigilance of born bodyguards at the doorway to the deeper interior of the building. One is downright bizarrely tall, her platinum blonde hair in an expensive cut that shows off her facial features, which are not one hundred percent even in just the right way, to their best advantage. She radiates a deadly elegance that makes it clear that even though she wears strangely blocky high heels that almost turn her feet into hooves (they must be shoes!), in a critical situation she would strike with the ruthlessness of a pouncing snake. Like her colleague, she wears a tailored dark suit in the price range called for by the tailors of the Vatican. No logo on the clothes. Of course there isn't. The winged double helix is only present as an isolated pattern in the dark carpet and on the wall. The other woman is clearly smaller, but more compact. Her muscular composure is punctuated by a couple of almost ceremonial-looking, tremendously precise scars that do not disfigure her face but rather indicate her businesslike nature. Something that her pixie cut and broad, sinewy hands emphasise.

"Ah, good afternoon! Welcome to the Consortium!" Perfectly articulated, flawless. Yet a very slight echo of the rounded consonants of Farsi or Pashtu.

The man stepping out of the doorway is not the doctor. Of course he isn't. But our journalist has done his homework. So this is him. His .. Press officer? Assistant? Marketing manager? It was impossible to figure out. But he is what stands between Dr Bile and the world.

His smile is practised and smooth, his olive-dark features regular. As he reaches out, the sleeve of the Desmond Merrion suit slides up just the right distance to expose the beginnings of the fine lines of a calligraphic tattoo. As if he actually deals with visitors every day, he ushers him to the passageway between the two women. A corridor with old copperplate engravings showing the most prominent buildings of various medical faculties. Tastefully dimmed spotlights create a withdrawn atmosphere. Further back, a few more doors can be seen and at the very end, a double door upholstered in leather. "My name is Saqqara Ur-Damak Thresh and today I am here to answer all your questions."

Of course, this is a lie. But perhaps it is possible to draw enough substance from his answers to get closer to the Doctor's mystery.

His office. Not the doctor's study, of course. And "office" is only a very marginal term. There is an empty desk and a very utilitarian seating area. And bookshelves on the walls. On all the walls. Filled with volumes of all sizes and ages, obviously not just placed for decorative purposes.

Not what you would expect. But actually, you can expect nothing and everything here.

The only wall not filled with literature is a floor-to-ceiling window that looks out over the conifer-forested hills and driveway. Just before Mr Thresh makes an inviting hand gesture towards the couch, a black Maybach with tinted windows pulls up. Stops in front of the entrance. On the door a gold logo. An eye in a circle of arrows. Ah, of course the clientele here is also special.

On the low table between the two couches is a silver tea set. Mr Thresh pours, quite the good host. Everything here is at once completely ceremonial and absolutely authentic.

"I hope your journey was pleasant. Of course, as always, time is short. But rest assured - for the next hour, my attention is entirely yours!"

Okay. So. I am absolutely obsessed with the premises of this AU! I haven't barely scratched the surface (I mean, Saqqara, Savona, Igori and a hint of Abaddon is nothing!) and it's already an entire page of text.

So - if anybody is interested, I will write more about this AU. There are a lot of people who have to make an appearance - especially of course the Doctor himself!

Because the original site hosting it is down, and the absurdity cannot be lost to time, I present to you: Aldo Kelrast, the Captain Kangaroo looking motherfucker whose very last name is an anagram for "stalker."

Even if you have no interest in Mary Worth or comic strips in general, the bizarre, tone-deaf handling of this situation is incredible. Actual news organizations took notice. CNN published an obituary for a fictional newspaper soap opera comic character.

🗑 messed up big we saw neither of thise rings were hers as multiple celebs have gone on Re cord how it words with borrowed jewlery so they wouldnt be putting things on there that didnt below. Theres been half a dozen rumors olthey are each flying back and forth and here and there and it statted immediately after Bookie and her friend exposed the video Jus and 🗑 posted. Immediately after it got traction rumors started and rumors will continue to clean up the mess.

No one knows when a video is made. I do pagesnts and not pageants have narional winners do holiday shoots all in one day. Evwry single holiday we made a video for and did photos with specific clothes and changes of make up here and there. He couldve filmed the video right after the auction was over or he couldve done it last weekend. It doesnt matter. And yea you cant deny that is a weird yellow gold color.

And I agree... All of this back and forth is truly a pain for all. Not everything has to be broken down. I'm honestly waiting for photos or video to analyze.

And it's true, about the thing about the Fandom being some sort of escape. I came and joined for the happy fun times, I only stumbled into this because somebody got me curious. Now, I'm here, and we finally have the chance to enjoy the Fandom without Albitch and her merry band of thick faced racists making some form of drama one way or another.

I'm sorry! But I will fight but only if bullshit is around. It helps me with whatever is going on in my personal life. But the analysis of when he posts or where he's flown to and where, I'll listen but doesn't mean I'm going to overcomplicate my life trying to figure out WTF is going on somewhere over the rainbow.

This is definitely not good bye. Not by a long shot. This is a I need to take time for myself, and enjoy life while I'm not preoccupied in/with someone else's drama.

But either when I finish those fics I promised, or if something big happens, I will be back...
