I love me a good plot twist

Ever since we first saw photos in Flugs bedroom in the pilot I've been big on the 'Goldheart is Flug's brother' theory. After the new episodes, I believe it even more now and wanted to get out my thoughts via a little an imagined confrontation of the two!
I like to think Goldheart genuinely is a well meaning guy, having everything in life come easy to him (the literal 'golden child' of the family) however makes him oblivious to those he hurts. It simply doesn't occur to him to take Flug's hostility seriously. After all, it's *Flug* what does he have to worry about from his kid brother...?

I caught a potential Freeze-Frame Bonus in “Satellite Mysteries/Secretos Satelitales”, one that’s more subtle than the rest.
Goldheart naturally looks at the reporter during the interview, except for the very last frame before the TV fully shuts off.
When he looks directly at the camera.
Or, perhaps, directly at the one turning off the TV?
We don’t know what Goldheart’s powers are yet; all we have to work from is Flug’s dream in “The Dreadful Dawn/El Atroz Amanencer”, which we can’t take 100% literally because it’s a dream.
Flight and super strength are common in superhero stories, so Goldheart probably does have those, though I doubt he’s as strong as dream!Goldheart’s exaggerated physique suggests.
Goldheart might literally glow, or dream!Goldheart’s glowing may just be symbolic of how Flug feels “outshined” by him. The simplified colors and generic pose make him look like a 2D paper cutout- perhaps Flug thinks Goldheart’s motivations for becoming a hero are “flat” or “shallow”. After all, the eyes are the windows to the soul, and dream!Goldheart’s eyes are blank.
A hero lights the way- to goodness, to order, to peace. But light that’s too bright can be blinding. What can Flug see about Goldheart that others are blind to? What is this hero of light hiding?
Flug already knew Goldheart was planning something. What shocked him at the beginning of “The Heedeous Heart/El Corazón Cruel” was that Cecilia was working with/for Goldheart.
Flug’s concern for her isn’t just because they were friends; he knows Goldheart’s plan is bad news and is worried for her because she’s gotten mixed up in it.
If the pile of hair and crumpled flower in Flug’s dream are anything to go by, he’s worried Goldheart’s plan to “end villainy forever” will kill not only his villainous friend coworker, but also his innocent son. He may worry Goldheart will target Cecilia too, even though she can’t do any further harm from prison. But how will Goldheart do it?
Perhaps Goldheart has another power- something he can keep hidden because it’s not as obvious as flight or strength or glowing. Something that doesn’t seem heroic, something that could put his angelic reputation into question if others found out about it.
(Look at this fucker. Two profile pictures with halo imagery? He couldn’t be any more suspicious if he went around with a megaphone yelling “I AM GOOD AND PERFECT AND DEFINITELY NOT PLANNING ANYTHING UNDERHANDED. I AM A HERO. TRUST ME.”)
Light can also mean knowledge, information, revealing that which is secret. Goldheart’s hidden power is telepathy- he can look into someone’s “heart” and see their desire to help or harm, to be good or evil. And that he keeps it secret means he doesn’t get permission from his targets before poking around their psyche for nasty thoughts and impulses.
This is a kid’s show so Goldheart won’t kill those he deems too evil (on purpose...), but he might further refine Flug’s research into emotional manipulation to keep them perpetually docile, robbing them of their free will in a more subtle way than Cecilia did.
Perhaps due to their bond, he’s been able to slowly worm his way into Flug’s head over a distance. I wonder how angry Black Hat would be with Flug if he handed over the rest of his research just because Goldheart “asked nicely”...
Goldheart’s plan is destined to fail, as he is severely missing the point. Good and evil aren’t just desires, they are choices people make! A retail worker isn’t a bad person if they want to jam a potato peeler in the eye of the 83rd irritating customer they’ve had to deal with today, they’re only a bad person if they actually act on it. And just as bad desires don’t necessarily make a bad person, good desires don’t necessarily make a good person. Goldheart’s desire to end villainy is admirable, but doing it like this is not.
Hopefully the plan will fail because he’ll realize the error of his ways and decide to stop, but it’s also possible he’ll devote himself to the plan at the cost of his own wellbeing, overexerting his telepathy and permanently disabling it.
Cecilia’s plan backfired on her too, after all...

Did Goldheart knew Miss Heed’s Plan from the Start?
According to Miss Heed, “Goldheart wants to end villainy forever. And his followers will do it for him.”
But the thing with ending villainy forever is to completely erased people’s free will so that they will never do a bad thing again.
And what did Miss Heed did? She drugged an entire city to follow her every whim. She “rehabilitated” villains to follow her commands as a hero.
Miss Heed can be called as one of Goldheart’s followers and she did all that because she wanted Goldheart to love her.
In the end credits of “Heedious Heart”, the news distorted what happened -that Miss Heed was arrested for possible aiding and abetting a villain due to a video of her kissing him. When it reality, she mindcontrolled heroes, villains and citizens of a large scale.
Since P.E.A.C.E. was responsible for Miss Heed’s powers and they were the one who took over her Instagram for investigation, I theorize that they have something to do with this distortion of news.
Then Goldheart sighed and said “Flug, what have you done?” I theorized that he was looking forward to Miss Heed’s success so that his plan to end villainy would come soon and was disappointed that Flug ruined it.
If these theories are correct, Goldheart knew what Miss Heed was doing -that she was mindcontrolling people so that they would behave how she desired them to. He didn’t care if they lose their free will as it aligns with his goal of ridding villainy forever.

Spoilers for villainous episode 6.
I really liked what they did with Miss Heed. The episode gave her more depth to her character then I thought they would.
I think it's easy to feel bad for both her and Flug. To be fair neither one of them are innocent. They've both done some pretty bad things. But by the time you get to the end of the episode, and you learn that Flug and heed were probably friends or at least the closet thing either of them had to a friend at school was each other. (Even though it looked like Cecelia approached Flug for his thesis.) And then seeing where they end things with each other at the end, it's hard not to feel bad for them at least a little. Especially if you were able to read the file on Cecilia and you realize what the group peace did to her.
Even Flug didn't seem to have any hard feelings towards her. While I do think he's over her and no longer has a crush on her. If nothing else, I think he at least feels sorry for her. He looked disappointed when he realized she still wanted him to help her get Goldhearts attention. Then when he tried walking away and stopped to close his eyes. When she was begging him to stay. And told her "You need to learn to love yourself first." He probably realized how unhappy she really is. And knows he can't help her until she tries to help herself first. I do think that despite everything that happened. they still care about each other to some degree.
I'm looking forward to seeing Heed again. I'll be really surprised if she doesn't come back sooner or later. I hope we see her interacting with Flug again and seeing what their relationship will be like from now on. And I hope we see both of them interacting with Goldheart in the future. To me it seemed like Heed and Goldhearts relationship was one sided. I don't think they were a couple.
After this episode I'm more interested in Goldheart as a character. Learning that his plan is to end villainy once and for all is interesting. And I want to see how he thinks he's going to accomplish that with Black Hat around. Or how he's going to kill Black Hat.
And I'm really looking forward to seeing him and Flug together. We know that Flug hates Goldheart, but when Goldheart turned off the t.v. when he found out Heed kissed Flug. And he said "Oh Flug what have you done?" He sounded both annoyed and disappointed then anything else, at least to me. It makes me wonder what his relationship is with Flug. Does he even hate Flug? Or see him as a threat? I'm looking forward to Goldheart hopefully getting some episodes focusing on him, and seeing that relationship explored. Especially since they're supposed to be each other's arch nemesis according to the reporter.

What I think Will Happen In Villainous. Warning SPOILERS
* Will go into Flug’s past more, especially with his family. First time meeting Blackhat shown.
* Will go into Dementia’s origins and her obsession with Blackhat. The Mariana theory.
* Dementia to possibly regain memories of her origins. She and 5.0.5 secretly search. Realizes she doesn’t need Blackhat’s love.
* 5.0.5′s origins shown.
* Goldheart’s plan to destroy villainy, involve removing it from people.
* Goldheart to stop by and talk to Miss Heed about Flug. Just leaves her angry about her betrayal and deceit.
* Blackhat and the trio out to stop him.
* Shown that Goldheart isn’t too bad of a guy and genuinely cares but also has issues with his brother and his plan is flawed.
* Blackhat to end up understanding Flug and his past more.
* Flug to realize he’s wasting time trying to please Blackhat. Perhaps in the past tried to please his parents who favoured his brother who had superpowers but gave up and became a villain. Realizes he’s repeating his mistake.
* Flug to snap and go rogue.
* Blackhat to admit he genuinely values Flug’s work and admits he isn’t at his level with technological/modern things. Cruel to him out of fear he’d leave, realizing he doesn’t need him.
* Happens anyway. Blackhat-”“I didn’t want to lose you alright, I admit it YOU’RE NOT WORTHLESS! Isn’t that all you wanted to hear!? Flug-…sigh yeah. But I didn’t need to hear that. I don’t need to from anyone. I never did. But I still wanted it so bad, but I deserve WAY MORE than that. Goodbye Jefecito”.
* That peculiar eye reaction to be used. The one with the x. Seriously why would they add that if they weren’t foreshadowing something causing that. https://images.app.goo.gl/14jjgzrJ6FQg7Qa27
* Flug’s face reveal.
* Gold Heart plan to eradicate villainy fails but Flug leaves Blackhat Inc, leaving Blackhat, just lost his biggest help and alone.

“ I saw this villain and his henchman, and for a moment I thought about capturing them once and for all... But we were on a pride parade, of course, they only came to celebrate their love, and love is not a crime! Remember #LoveIsLove! ”
Not very productive but very nice sentiment, Goldheart.

Black Hat makes Flug wear his paper bag, what if the reason he thinks Flug’s face is so ugly is because he looks exactly like Goldheart? I know everyone thinks they’re brothers but I kinda feel like they might be twins or something. I remember Alan saying something about how sometimes Flug hates the paper bag but sometimes he’s grateful for it, so maybe he’s grateful for it because he doesn’t want to be compared to Goldheart? I don’t know, just a theory.

Something I’ve noticed about Heed’s design is the gold choker she had in her outfit
She’s shown to wear it in a lot of her other outfits and even other gold/yellow accesories
You know who else has gold in their designs?
She really had it bad for him. To the point she became a bad guy for him

I spent the last hour making my Dr. Flug interpretation following the theory that he is Goldheart's brother.
Lots of people make him blonde but I believe he would have dark brown hair as Goldheart, same with the teeth(? U know, sibling similarities, and because of this he uses the bag. The hair I wanted to make the style similar to Goldheart's long bit of hair, and the rest is all messy (because i'm sure you can't keep your hairstyle still if Black Hat summons you in all sorts of wicked and painful ways all the time.)
With the eyes I'm sure they would be yellow too, but following the nerdy stereotype he would need glasses and those googles work pretty well both for sight and eye protection while working.
I love this man 🛐
