Otto G. Carlslund (Dec. 11, 1897 - 1948) was a Swedish painter and art critic, who never became very successful in his lifetime. He followed the different Moderrnist trends - Cubism, Concretism, Constructivism - having studied with Léger, executed murals for Le Corbusier, and traveled widely across Eurrope and the US.

Do I get asks: i do! i will always be drowning in prompts i think, but i get advice asks and chatty asks as well and they are all lovely.

Why I chose my url: i actually made this blog as ‘feibean’ because that was the nickname i was using at the time. and then people actually started calling me feibean when i posted fic and it was sort of viscerally horrible to me??? so i switched it to ignitesthestars, which (along with onelonecandle) is a username i had just started to use on a couple other sites. they’re both quotes from the novelisation of Revenge of the Sith. Basically i wanted a name that was nerdy and beautiful at the same time and this fit the bill.

Following: 153 which honestly is a little much for me. i used to try keep it at around 100.

Followers: 5142. i try to prune the bots when i can.

Average hours of sleep: about 7? i aim for seven and a half to 8 but that never happens
