As far as recs for other writers, I love every monster blog on here tbh and I don't read as much as I'd like but here are my two absolute favs who I will drop everything to read something they post. @snowkissedmonsters has some of my favorite writing on this whole website, their works are all incredible and I cannot recommend working your way through their masterlist enough, they're actually what inspired me to finally start this blog.

Pinnie over at @eldritch-spouse has so much fantastic content for all their wonderful ocs. I've been meaning to go back and reblog some of my fav pieces of theirs now that I have a real blog so you'll probably see some of their stuff here when I find the time for that but I recommend absolutely everything they've done. Breg, Fasma, and Morell have a special place in my heart so if you want somewhere to start those are my recommendations. They also have some newly made masterlists you can go check out for each character!!

If you're looking for more monster stuff, those are the best recs I have but there are so so many good monster writers on here, I check the terato tag regularly to try and find new ones which is a great way to find new writers!!

Its been 3 years since Steven created universal peace, became friends with the Diamonds, created a new team with Lapis, Peridot, Bismuth, Spinel, Greg, and Lars. And is on a good relationship with Lapis.

His good life is about to come to an end however.

A group of revel gems, lead by Aquamarine have made a plan to overthrow the peace Steven fought so bad to create. They use a forbidden artifact that even White won't touch, the Dream Stone.

The result is the release of a ancient evil being. Fasma. The Lord of Nightmares.

Now Famsa threatens all worlds, Earth, Homeworld, and every other planet is at risk of falling at the Nightmare world, unless Steven stops them.

Breg finds an envelope covered in hearts and thinking it’s a sappy love letter, he opens it only to find:

" Breg, this is not a love letter. " Fasma sighs.

He honestly just wants to put his cigarette out on the fucking thing, but he knows Egghead would have a massive fit about it.

" Yuh-uh- "

" Fuck no, in what world, ye idiot?! "

" It is though! " Breg stresses, starting to list his arguments. " One, it's pink. Two, it has hearts. Three, it's written in pink too. Four, she signed with a heart right there- " The breeder points.

Fasma lets out another sigh. " ... Did you actually read this? "

The breeder shrinks in himself slightly. He murmurs. " I dunno, just a word or two... Reading handwriting is pretty hard... "

This poor, poor idiot. Even worse, shame on you, now Fasma's going to have to be the one to kill the wagging of Breg's tail.

Hey Pinnie! I was rereading some of your older posts about your vertically challanged creations(i.e. the imps, red, and Fassy boi)and it got me thinking about sharing a bed with them. So I know that when I was younger I was a very restless sleeper tossing and turning all the time. I’m a lot better now but I still move about here and there.

So it got me thinking about how they would react if I rolled on them in my sleep

(I did ask this before but I think the throat gods swallowed it up?)

Fasma is just simply splatting beneath you. He has no reflexes when he's sleepy, you're going to flatten him and he's going to spend the next half hour seeping off your sides like a puddle. If it happens too many times, he's sleeping on the pillow like a domestic animal.

Listen. If you roll on top of Nena, you're likely to wake up to muffled moaning. She's getting her bones crushed by your full weight and it's like getting smothered by your chest, this imp is kind of shamefully getting off until you move.

Lacai likewise gets a kick from being mildly crushed, but he's less considerate and definitely starts groping and spanking around until you roll off or wake up all pissy.

Flints will flip slightly. You're about the only person he allows to touch him so frequently, rolling on top of this imp will have him mildly panicked and possibly forcefully shoving you off. You're lucky he didn't swing at your throat. He'll apologize and explain afterwards.

Jayde is more sorry for you than anything, you're going to get mildly stabbed by his horns and wake up, definitely. If not, he'll resort to pinching you awake before you get one of them in your eye and he has to take a trip to an emergency room in the middle of the night.

Roch is the smallest imp here, and he'd be at risk of cracking things if he didn't already sleep in spares of his work outfit, which protects him from impacts and some compressions. That being said, you're still effectively suffocating him. And boy, what a time for a boner... He might genuinely orgasm.

Rieba is trying to pry you off her without waking you up. When that doesn't work, she resorts to more drastic measures, because if there's an imp that really needs their sleep, it's her. You might get bit.

Eleri is likely whining and poking you everywhere. It's not the first time they've been slept on, especially by Vorticia's girls, who cling to anything warm when they're sleepy. You're flicked and rolled off them more easily than the other imps. They're not even that bothered honestly, a human's weight is nothing compared to the crushing form of a demonlord's child.

Rei barely notices it. No really, he doesn't immediately wake up from your weight on his, it's more likely a noise of yours next to his eardrum will do it. This imp is ripped enough to easily lay you back on your side and simply fall back asleep.

Primin is going to scream. Get off her, you big baby! What are you doing, trying to kill her?! The only way to resolve this is to make sure you sleep at her feet, obviously.

Just thinking about how funny it would be if the reader unintentionally copied the boys accents. (How many of them have noticeable accents? Besides morrel I mean)

Well, you know Morell. His parents share this same accent.

Fasma has a thick sort of "goon" accent. New Yorker-like, as cartoony as you can imagine.

Patches has a slight Portuguese accent, but it only comes out when he's in high-stress/energy situations or really tired.

Breg is notable for easily absorbing your accent.

I can't think of many others right now.

Morell and his family might not notice this chance for a long while, until it just sort of hits them one day. Didn't you use to speak differently? Where did this come from? Morell is happy about it, you're enjoying your time spent with him and his family so much that you actually started speaking like him. It makes him smile whenever you say something really specific to his accent.

Fasma would think you're mocking him, going as far as to jab at you. He gets enough shit from the other bar flies, you don't need to add onto that. Once you explain the situation, he chides you for being easily influenced, but compliments the way it sounds on your voice. It's kind of cute... Don't make his heart do cartwheels, he's too old for that nonsense.

Patches squints. He picks up on it pretty easily in spite of not speaking his native tongue very often nowadays. It's not exactly a very noticeable accent, so he's surprised you assimilated it so well. He may take the time to teach you one or two words just so he can hear what they'd sound like in your voice.

PINNIE! Patches, Santi, Mervin, Fasma, and Kalymir with a murder mystery author darling who asked them for help on details for a death seen! Whether it's recreating the scene or just them describing it!

Patches is a good bet if you particularly want to know how a dead body works, or an undead body, if one of your characters will become one eventually. He knows a lot about how decomposition works, certain quirks that a cadaver exhibits which most people gloss over. He can also let you explore with his body so you can see what certain atrophied organs look like.

Santi... Santi's a lot more preoccupied with somehow turning the scene into the aftermath of a gory orgy. And, let's face it, that's about the only thing he can help you with. The incubus can draw upon his past memories to describe how certain sex acts will kill a person or how a person can be fed on to death by a concubus, but that's about as much expertise as he has on the matter.

Mervin is your guy. He can give you so much info, he's the best bet. Want to know every detail of how to carry out a murder? Just pitch the suspect and the scenario to him, watch Mervin rapid-fire at least six alternatives. He may not be able to tell you too much about how dead bodies work, but he can tell you several ways to get rid of them depending on the gear your character has. How to properly clean a crime scene down to the littlest detail. It's a creepy amount of accuracy you might not want to incorporate in the story.

Fasma, although a bit outdated in his craft, has many tricks up his non-existent sleeves and will do a half-decent job at explaining how conveniently someone can be killed depending on the setting. His best advice comes when dealing with killer characters who used guns, as he'll tell you all about how to measure the distance between the gun and the victim when there was a shot fired for example, even though he's also pretty good for body disposal theories.

Kalymir... Is only good if you want to know how many millions of ways a body's guts can splatter across walls or how much torture someone can endure before eventually giving out. Describing a single murder's crime scene is not his talent, but if you want a tormenting retelling of the horrors present in war zones, mass slaughters, and their aftermath, then he's right up your alley. Not that Kalymir will handle things in a tasteful manner, mind you.

Well, she kind of is. Pin's technically Fasma's daughter when this old fart somehow got a piece of himself in a bobble tube. Fasma himself is an ecto-monster, which is kind of the closest thing to a rubberhose cartoon that exists in this universe. So you're not wrong.

He looks at you. It's uncomfortably close to the danger zone. He doesn't miss what you're unsubtly trying to ask, and honestly, he thinks you must be going through something to be turning to him for that kind of attention.

" Eh... Depends on who you're askin' toots. "

He pauses, swirling his mostly empty glass and watching the ice cube glide easily. Part of him wants to say that it's fine, that he'd love to spend more time with you, get to know you. And he knows he'll cave eventually if things keep going the way they are...

But Fasma knows he's not a good first or second experience to have when it comes to relationships. He's a mess of a monster. You deserve better.

What would breg do if his obsession got possessed?

Probably have a massive freak out.

The breeder barely understands how Hell works, he's not aware demons can perform a variety of weird things such as possession. At first, Breg just thinks you're sick.

Perhaps whatever has a hold of you is sadistic enough to straight up tell egghead who's piloting the body, and that's enough to make him spiral into a total panic.

Restraining you will be a lot harder now that a demon's strength flows through you, and Breg may even be unable to depending on the rank of the demon you host. This means he's going to have to call for help, and unfortunately, Fasma is the only poor fool who Breg can call a true friend. And Fasma is, as he's said many times, too old for this shit.

While trapping a standard demon in a salt circle isn't too reliable, trapping a possessed human isn't that hard, and that's their strategy. One of them is going to have to babysit your creepy crawly ass, probably Breg crying figurative snot and tears over the whole thing, while Fasma goes and fetches a competent exorcist, or a half-decent demon hunter. How long this takes can depend, but it's safe to say the longer a demon remains in your body without consent, the less healthy it is for your stressed organism.

Breg isn't likely to stay scared for too long, even if the fiend plays mind games with him. The breeder is too focused on getting you back to let them spook him. The only way to keep Breg away is if the demon in charge of you starts grievously harming your body as a threat.

Breg will walk out of this with immense trauma, but probably less so than you. Fasma's also going to need a break.
