On the contrary, I hate what the show did to my favorite character in the show. I loved her in the pilot. She actually had a spine, she wasn't as inconsiderate to those around her. The show looked at, "take no shit from other demons," and went, "Fuck that noise! Let's have completely helpless when standing up to her friend's abuser and, I don't know, literally fighting for her and her friends' lives and have her rely on her father to save her."

I'm disappointed, really, because I want to love Charlie as much as I did in the pilot! But alas, her writing was garbage. Vivziepop just does not know how to write women, which is especially bad considering that this is supposed to be the, "female-led," show.

Also, it's okay to critique things you like. It's okay to find flaws in something you enjoy. You don't need to blindly praise and justify everything about a thing just because you like it. You have permission.

what's your biggest skz mxm rarepair ship? 🚢👀

I‘ve never heard the term rarepair, so I’m just assuming that you mean not commonly talked about pairings.

Now, you might’ve already read on the lovely @skzms blog that I kinda ship them all with each other, so really every pairing is encompassed here. My main pairings in no particular order are Minsung, Hyunlix, Changseung and Chanin, which aren’t really uncommon, I think.

So for rarer pairings, I think Hyunseung would be nice (they’re not nice, they’re pure chaos, never leave them alone or the whole house will turn into ash) in this pairing, I just imagine Hyunjin to be a huge brat, always teasing and testing Seungmin, who joyfully always puts him back in his place - until one day he doesn’t. Hyunjin keeps on playing, pushing him around, taking what he wants without asking, expecting Seungmin to at some point break and get back at him, but instead he just takes it, lets himself get taken, and it’s an absolute thrillride for the both of them. Hyunjin can’t believe his luck to finally have his partner in all the ways he never could before, and Seungmin just lets himself drop and enjoys the attention. Their relationship is never the same since, as a whole new power dynamic has been introduced, and the constant push and pull is endlessly entertaining for them (albeit sometimes a bit annoying for the other members, who tell them to just get a room already)

Also I want to mention that while I already talked about Hyunsung, I don’t think anyone expected that. Yeah, sure, they were playing around a lot beforehand, but that’s exactly all it ever was in the eyes of everyone (including themselves): just two guys playing around being funny. Once it actually escalates, everyone‘s stunned that this is actually happening.

Mr Frog guy, what is the different between a frog & a toad?

This is probably the second most common question I receive, after "what's your favourite frog".

There is no difference, because this is a false dichotomy. It is not a comparison of equal categories. Toads are one of the ~55 frog families. Toads unequivocally are frogs.

If you want to know the difference between toads and some other family or clade of frogs, you would either have to be more specific, or identify features that are unique to toads—synapomorphies of Bufonidae. These are the differences between toads and all other frogs.

Synapomorphies of Bufonidae include the parotoid glands (but not present in all toads), some funky muscular arrangements, a weird bone in the skull, and the Bidder's organ, which is basically a backup ovary in male toads that allows them to become reproductively active females if their testes are damaged or removed surgically.

i think it's more that there's endless potential for love in the world rather than that the love is automatically there. giving love openly is a skill, but so is learning to identify and accept that love. both actively require that you practice doing them. many of us are out of that practice--on both fronts--or simply never learned how to begin with, i think.
