alright so, here's a bit from my recent firing! my liner glaze was very polite and handled the extensive crystal-growing temps like a champ. however... nothing can be sold in full confidence, as there are unexpected problems with pinholes, outgassing and application difficulties that can easily pave the way for future issues. back to the drawing board to fine-tune the chemistry of some glazes while prepping to better apply the glazes (i used one of those mouthpiece cans you can find on Amazon for 10 bucks that looks like a weird pump oil can for spraying the exterior glazes, which was horrendous for my asthma and completely absent of control. going to try an electric paint sprayer for more controlled/consistent results and to not pass out hyperventilating)
acid soak for the gorgeous blue crystal glaze this weekend and hopefully finding access to a gas kiln to try reduction-striking for enhanced effect. stay tuned!

BROWNIE FUNCIONAL
Ingredientes:
3 ovos (150g)
150g de açúcar mascavo ou demerara
100g de óleo de girassol ou de coco ou ghee
150g de chocolate 60 ou 70% picado
80g de farinha de amaranto (pode ser de arroz, de aveia, de quinoa...)
100g da oleaginosa que vc quiser, picadinhas
Modo de fazer:
Bata os ovos e o açúcar em velocidade baixa, até que o açúcar se dissolva por completo. Derreta o choco com o óleo e misture os dois. Por último incorpore a farinha e as nuts. Coloque em uma forma de 23cm untada. Forno 180 graus por 15-20 min. #Leve_Me #GlutenFree #LacFree #Brownie

yep, I lied. setting up a new glaze firing for 8 new crystalline glazes without testing them out first before moving my studio and entire life! haphazard choices can bring about both mayhem and brilliant discovery, sometimes all at once. bring it on 😈
also giving some previous work a second dip in the fires of hell (2300°f to be exact), after grinding down what is the most unusual glaze defect i've created despite my test of the same recipe acting far nicer. fingers crossed this does something better lol.

Este proyecto fue muy divertido de hacer 😄, y estoy muy emocionado de compartirlo con ustedes. La impresión 3D es una tecnología increíble que nos permite crear cosas realmente asombrosas 🤩. Y con la pintura a mano 🎨, pude personalizar el champiñón rojo de Super Mario con mis propios colores y detalles 🌈.
