Doodle page (kind of)

Okay, not really a doodle page, but it started out as one! Then I decided I had to put it into Procreate and draw it.

In case you're wondering why I drew everyone as deserts, well... I'd like to say it was because I wanted to. But the humans I draw end up looking like melted candles so...

If you can't read my (horrible) handwriting: The top left is Gren, (Cowboy Bebop) holding their saxophone, (yes, that is a saxophone) about to be attacked by Viscous. To the right is Despair, (The Sandman) once more crying her eyes out. Below her is Desire (The Sandman) asking Dream (not the YouTuber) "May I get you anything you Desire" with Dream angrily saying, "SHUT UP!" Below them, is lan (Quantum Leap) oblivious to the fact that Magic is taking an axe to Ziggy... yeah, I don't really know where that idea came from.

Rewatching cowboy bebop really hits different. I watched Jupiter jazz again and my god the themes are right there. If only Spike could be less stuck in the past, he'd see Faye right in front of him. She isn't Julia, but they could be happy together. But instead he is fated to die like Gren, flying towards a memory. The lost soul of a mighty warrior, finally able to face the past but unable to move forward.

Wholesome Headcanons I think the cowboy bebop characters did in their childhood.

●Spike

He had this really old toy gun he adored. he would constantly go around going BANG! Little Spike was absolutely devastated when it broke.

●Faye

When she got her memories back, something comforting she remembered was sneaking into the kitchen at night to steal sweets.

When he was innocent and didn't know how corrupt the police were, he used to idolize cartoon heroes and police officers he saw on tv.

would never tell a soul, but he used to feed the stray cats. Also, crumble up bread for the birds whenever he went to the park.

●Gren

used to smash keys on the piano whenever they were in contact with one. In the same line of thought, they would immediately try to play with any instrument they saw.

Julia

Whenever her mother wasn't there, Julia would sneak into her mother's bathroom to play with makeup. She'd mostly just smear red lipstick over her face, So if you're wondering, that's where her love of red lipstick came from.

●Edward

little Ed would make weird things for the people they liked. The adults were creeped out by it, but Ed was happy.
