happy anniversary, deltarune!! here's my cover of "my castle town" to celebrate! it's heavily based off of toby's own performance at the end of the 5th anni undertale concert, but with the tempo of the in-game song! (more rambles below the cut-off)

i first "arranged" this cover about two years ago (when chapter 2 dropped), but i figured i'd bring it back for this year's anniversary! deltarune's soundtrack is phenomenal, and the game in general has a lot of charm to it :^) undertale/deltarune and their OSTs hold a special place in my heart!

(i put arranged in quotes because it's a pretty simple song and there's only so much you can arrange lol...)

HAPPY DELTARUNE'S DAY!!!

It's crazy to think that Deltarune's "birthday" it's on Halloween. Moreover, that it has been five whole years already. I feel old.

On undertale 5th anniversary, I played the game (genocide). Unfortunately, I don't think that I'm able to play even chapter one since today I will watch the Fnaf movie. Welp, guess I know what I'm doing this Friday!

💜We Made It/Face Reveal / Our Love Story💙

First off-yes I'm a girl lol lotta peeps assume I'm a dude, I'm just a genderfluid pansexual, so a male or female title never bugged me.

After 1 year of being in a long distance relationship we finally met and went on our first date in September of this year.

My dearest most precious and sweetest @saidebanks I love you with all my heart and promise to cherish you and our love for as long as you'll have me.

Now-story time

We met in December before covid hit on Twitter, I was surprised my art caught the eyes of someone I've never seen before I'm not a very popular artist but it was very much appreciated.

Since than we started talking more and more especially when it came to our ocs and the undertale fandom, before we knew it we were bestfriends by the 2nd year.

It was by the 3rd year when I caught feelings for her, but it was a bad timing because she was going through some things too, so I backed off and burrowed my feelings deep inside for her sake.

I thought if I can't be with her like I want to be, I can at least support her and admire her from a distance, the thing is I didn't know at the time she ALSO- started to feel the same way about me.

Her and I were flirting back and forth almost every week! Rp wise we ended up sharing a kiss both on Christmas day and New Years.

But even so we both never acknowledged each other's feelings because we both thought 'maybe they're being playful?' ( I wish I could go back and tell myself "you dumb ass she likes you too!" ) x'D anywho-

By the 4th year this kept going back and forth what with the flirting and the affection, it was a cycle that went no where and we were both too afraid to confess to the other.

It wasn't until she started dating again is the time I finally confessed how I felt about her, I felt I would lose her if I didn't speak up (with a help of an ex-bestfriend..thanks bro..) on the night she returned from her date (I was relieved to know her date didn't go well sorry bb x'D), I finally told her how I felt about her.

Her exact words were "...I like you too, do you wanna give us a shot?" Needless to say I didn't think I would get that far so-I panicked lol honestly I was prepared for a flat out rejection or worried that doing this would make things awkward between us cause well-we were bestfriends.

In the end tho' I said yes and I'm glad I did, because we're gonna be heading onto our 2 year anniversary soon as a couple.

We we're bestfriends for 4 years and started dating by the 5th year, we're two peas of a pod and I hate to admit but we're both idiots lol.

We're still long distance but I plan on moving in with her, for now I'm happy with our visits and planned dates till the day we can finally start a future together.

I love you Saide and nothing will change that.

10 songs i've been to vibing to

I got tagged by @codenamesazanka so again, you guys are gonna get to see more of my lack of taste in music. Going by songs Ive vibed by the most recently. This was tricky, because I go through on and off periods of listening to music to just not listening to music at all. 1. Enjoy The Silence - Depeche Mode - I mentioned awhile back, finding a song that someone matched to the character? Someone matched this to RD and when I first listened - I wasn’t sure why. But then, duh, of course someone who’s under tension and stressed constantly would want some peace and quiet. Be exposed to and enjoy the simpler things. So I apologize to the person who assigned this song to him -you understood the assignment when I did not. Anyway good song too. 2. Eat Your Young - Hozier - I wasn’t sold on this song the first time I heard it, but then it stuck around in the folds of my brain and then I went back and listened to it again and it slaps. 3. Starsourge Radahn / Malenia, Blade of Miquella - Elden Ring OST

- Combining these two cus same OST. Elden Ring didn’t hit as hard as some of the past FromSoftware game ost, but the ones that do hit, hit really good. Both of these songs are just for letting my brain-scape wander to really climactic scenes and moments of emotional awe to possibly draw later. The second half of Radahn’s ost does things to me where it sounds like a funeral march, holy shit. ( This also just applies to any FromSoft game ost I enjoy ) 4. Helplessly Hoping - Crosby, Stills and Nash

- Annihilation, a movie I love reminded me this song existed and its just a really wonderful melancholy song.

5. Into Dust Mash-up - Beck + Mazzy Star

- An excellent mash up of the two songs Loser and Into Dust that I was very happy to be able to find again. 6. If I Had A Heart - Fever Ray

- Just a good angst song.

7. Undertale Orchestra Ost - Undertale 5th anniversary concert

- Sometimes when I just want to vibe and draw I’ll put on the whole Undertale Orchestra concert. Its got it all so I just listen. 8. The Toxic Avenger - My Only Chance - Furi Ost

- From my mixed playlist labeled ‘Throw Down Tracks��, it just keeps coming

9. When I was Done Dying - Dan Deacon - Great music video, great song 10. Once in a Lifetime - The Talking Heads

- Yeah, I went over it a few times, and this one belongs at number 10. Every time it comes on its turn on the playlist it feels good. I tag whoever would like to participate. 💛
