(Working on my wips??? never heard of it. Hears an entirely different au then the other one I posted, which I will write more of. At some point. For now, Boruto brain rot has gotten to me, so here’s a weird au where Hinata had the two kids and then died and then Naruto took the kids and left the village under mysterious circumstances. Have fun, try to follow it as best as you can. You don’t need to watch Boruto to know what’s going on here. Just know that Naruto left the village with his kids in tow and they have no idea that they’re from Konoha. Oh and just like everything else this will probably be sns at some point because I am weak. Tell me if you like this one)
TW and CW for: potential parental death, implied past parental death, cursing, death, blood, children navigating traumatizing situations, probably medically inaccurate but its a fanfiction about gay ninjas so sue me, tell me if I miss anything this one isn’t too bad.
His father is dying and Boruto can't think.
He should do something, say something. Come up with a funny, stupid one liner or whatever. But he can't. He can't do fucking anything at all. Sometimes his brain feels like it's made of jelly, sloshing around uselessly in his head when he desperately needed to use it. The rain was coming down in torrents, a downpour that they hadn't expected. The giant trees stretch out above them and form a canopy as they stand at the forest floor, but the canopy isn't enough to stop the rain from reaching them. Boruto’s clothes are soaked through; sticking to his body. Thankfully the storm was warm, a summer downpour rather than an icy tsunami. But he didn't notice the rain, and he probably wouldn’t have given a damn anyway. His father was laying in the grass, the wound on his chest staining the green with crimson. Boruto desperately tried to use every healing technique he could remember, funneling chakra into his hands in a desperate attempt to close the wound. He was sixteen years old, his father had trained him in almost every technique he knew (mostly for defense), but truthfully, Naruto had never been good at healing jutsu either. So, Boruto’s skill was lacking in this area, and it was going to get his father killed. He couldn't weasel his way out of this one like he usually did, and that was becoming abundantly clear. His father had gotten nervous, Boruto was aware of that when they went there. They needed to draw close to Konohagakure to get across the Land of Fire and back home to Wave Country before winter set in, and that had immediately set Naruto on edge for some reason. Boruto didn't bother questioning it, he knew he wouldn't get any answers. Everything had been going fine, they were making good time, but then they got ambushed by bandits, and everything had happened so fast. It was all Boruto's fault, really. If he hadn't kept his father up so late the night before, he would have realized something was wrong earlier and managed to fend them off easily. Typically any opponent was no match for Boruto’s father, but none of them had been paying attention and the ambush was almost perfectly timed. Naruto scared them off and nearly got himself killed in the process, and now Boruto was here, stuck in time. He dimly felt a tug on his sleeve and vaguely registered Himawari talking to him.
“Is he gonna die?” she whispered. Boruto didn't even think about the question.
“No,” he answered immediately, letting the chakra fade from his fingertips and opting to just stop the bleeding manually instead, pressing on the wound. He was running out of time, there was so much blood and he could hardly get it to slow down and what would he do if- he felt the presence of ninja before he saw them, and that fully snapped him back to reality. Boruto forgot about his father for a second and whirled towards the other side of the clearing, shoving Himawari behind him. He had to protect her, that was the prerogative. He threw kunai blindly in that direction, three of them. The shinobi dodged the blades easily and then began advancing.
His eyes settled on the squad of shinobi standing in the grass as they assessed him. He grabbed another kunai from his pocket and flipped it into his hand, angling it outwards. Boruto narrowed his eyes. Ninja were never good news, rogue or otherwise. These didn't seem rogue, and that was probably for the best. Still, loyal shinobi could be just as dangerous. Could be even more so, and he had Himawari to think about. The clouds in his head seemed to clear. There was a woman heading the group, with platinum blond hair pulled back into a ponytail. Her eyes were light blue, a different color from theirs, and she seemed… welcoming, almost. Still, she had the scrutinizing gaze of a shinobi. Boruto watched her movements, careful.
“Don't come any closer,” he growled, trying to sound as threatening as he could manage, well aware of what he looked like. The hand holding his kunai was shaking. Who was he kidding? He’d gotten injured before while his father was fighting, he couldn't protect himself in this condition, let alone Naruto and his little sister as well. Still, he had to try. “Hear me? I said- I said stay away.” He gripped the kunai tighter, waiting for them to strike, make a move, do something. His father didn't trust ninja, they were to be avoided at all costs, even if he never seemed to have any necessarily malicious feelings towards them. Still, they were never to be trifled with under an circumstance. Never let them see what I taught you, he’d tell them, the few times where Naruto was serious. Ninjutsu are considered very dangerous, especially by shinobi. If they see you using ninjutsu it could get us in serious trouble. I mean it, Boruto. God, he wished Kurama was here right now, but by the looks of it, the demon was doing everything it could just to keep Naruto alive. Fine, they could do it on their own. Of course they could. The leading woman put her hands in the air and started edging towards him slowly. Her smile looked warm. He still didn't trust it. He gritted his teeth. What was she playing at?
“Hi there. My name’s Ino. What's your name?” she asked calmly. He didn't answer.
“It looks like something bad happened. You have someone injured behind you, it looks like they need help. If you let me I can heal them. What’s your name, kid?” Boruto hesitated. It was too good to be true. This was a trap, it had to be. She had two people behind her, two men. Someone with black hair pulled into a stark ponytail and a frown. The other looked a bit more kind, he had brown hair and welcoming eyes. He still didn't trust them, he couldn't trust this-
“Please!” Himawari shouted. Boruto blinked and before he could do anything about it, Himawari had ducked past him and was running towards the woman.
“Himawari! Get, get back here!” he shouted desperately, mind racing. They were going to kill her, what was she thinking? Himawari was usually more cautious, smart about these things despite her age. But the shinobi seemed surprised, not angry or poised to hurt her. She ran to the woman and tugged on her sleeve. Boruto froze.
“He’s- he’s hurt and Boruto can't help and there's blood- I, I mean i've seen blood before but this- he’s- he’s going to die, please-” the woman crouched down and smiled again, clasping Himawari’s hands gently with hers.
“Don't worry, I'm a medical ninja. I can help your father, okay?” She glanced at Boruto as if asking permission, and he found himself stepping aside, silently urging Himawari to come back to him. He moved out of the way and she ran into his arms. He should have been thinking about her more. She was clearly terrified, and he had been too psyched out to think about it. He scooped her up easily, suddenly more at ease now that he could confirm she would be safe. Boruto watched the medical ninja like a hawk as she moved over to his father, letting the other two approach as well. When the woman got a good look at him she gasped. “By the sages! What the fuck?” she demanded, sounding more juvenile all of a sudden.
“What? What is it?” the plump man asked, trying to get a better look.
“It's… it's Naruto.” Boruto stiffened, holding Himawari closer to him.
“How do you people know my dad’s name?” he demanded. He felt lightheaded, and the indignant shouts of ‘what?’ from the other ninja weren't helping. The woman ignored him for a moment, checking Naruto’s wounds. It didn't take her long to stop the bleeding and close the wound, and she stood right after and turned her attention back to Boruto.
“Listen kid, it's… it's a long story. He’s going to be alright but he needs further treatment at the hospital. We can help him if we take him back to the village.” Boruto hesitated again, but concluded he didn't have a choice. He was outnumbered and if he didn’t accept the help, whatever the ulterior motives were, Naruto would die. So Boruto nodded mutely.
“F-Fine. But you better answer me when we get back to… wherever you're taking me. And- and she stays with me,” he said, nodding at Himawari. The woman smiled shakily, clearly rattled by some realization about Boruto’s father. The larger man picked him up and carried him easily. So Boruto watched, hopeless, as they took his father away, and followed close behind, arm still wrapped around Himawari. He would lecture her about rash actions later, now wasn't the time. The man with long black hair was studying him, and he didn't like it. Boruto glared. “What?” he snapped. The man raised an eyebrow.
“I'm Shikamaru Nara,” he said. “What about you?” Boruto looked away.
“I… B-Boruto… Namikaze,” he said with finality. Boruto Uzumaki, he wanted to say. Descendant of Uzushiogakure, grand daughter of Kushina Uzumaki. But he didn't trust these people to share his real name, instead going with the one their father used occasionally. Shikamaru snorted.
“Original name,” he muttered. Boruto only frowned. “Well, alright. Your sister, it looks like she has Byakugan. Does she?” Boruto blinked.
“Byaku- Byaku… what?”
“Hm. Nevermind. C’mon, while your father’s in the hospital, i'll take you to see the Hokage.”

Kawaki was shocked at what she said he was taken back at what just came out of her mouth, he faced her knowing she was nervous
Kawaki(blushing): I don't know what to say....I can't....
Himawari(nervous): please....its ok....I'm not afraid when I'm with you...I want you to be my first Kawaki....I want to experience my first time
He kissed her hands and look at her dead in the eye, to be honest when he seen her in the laced dress, he couldn't help himself but imagine lewd thoughts and one hell of a passionate time
Kawaki: are you sure...I really don't want to pressure you into....
Himawari: your not pressuring me into anything...to be honest when I thought about having sex...you were the only one I could think of ever losing my virginity to
Kawaki(closing the distance between them): ok...but if you feel scared don't hesitate to stop me....
Himawari: it's ok I promise...I don't feel scared with you
He kissed her forehead and got her to her feet
Kawaki: turn around...I'm gonna undress you
Himawari: ok then....go for it
Kawaki kissed the back of her neck as he unbuttoned her dress, Himawari could feel butterflies in her stomach and her heart pounding with excitement as he let the dress fall to the floor. He turned her around and hugged her
Kawaki: your stunningly beautiful Hima...breathtaking as ever
He unhooks her bra and removes her underwear, Kawaki picks her up and gently places her on the bed kissing Himawari from the neck to her naval. He takes off her heels and leaves them on top of the dress. Before committing the deed kawaki caresses her kissing every inch of her naked body
Himawari(aroused): I feel like my heart is about to burst...I can't take this weird feeling
Kawaki: your aroused good....(bitting her neck) when the times comes it will be less painful
Himawari(nervous): painful....
He kisses her fiercely the pulls back to undress
Kawaki(smiling and naked): you like what you see?
Himawari(tomato red): I'm not used to this(she covers her face)
Kawaki(removing Himawari's hands from her face): don't be embarrassed....its only natural...I want you to get use to me
He places her in a sitting position and let's Himawari explore him kissing Kawaki everywhere. When she reaches close to his shaft he pulls her up and lays her down
Kawaki: take a deep breath this may hurt a little....let me know if you can't continue
Himawari: ok I will (puts her arms around him and faces him) I'm not afraid
He positions himself and enters her, Kawaki can feel Himawari stiffen as he enters her tearing her insides with his shaft
Kawaki: you ok you didn't make a sound?
Himawari: was I suppose to?
Kawaki: I'm gonna move now....if it hurts I'll stop ok
Himawari(smiling): I'm fine...I promise
He started to move slowly inside her...then picking the rhythm as they kissed and hugged each other both climaxing at the same time
Himawari(out of breath): I love you Kawaki
Kawaki(out of breath): I love you too Hima
They both made love for the next three hours
----------
At the reception hall Boruto is with Sarada placing dinnerware for the party
Boruto: this sucks....at least Himawari is occupied with the scavenger hunt
Sarada: if you complain...I'll make sure mama gives you more tasks to do
Boruto(grinning): you just just want me occupied so I don't cause trouble
Sarada: yeah so what...the more you do the less mischief you get into...and I don't have to get you out of it...your like a two year old
Boruto sets up the last table and tries to head out but is stopped by Hinata
Hinata: thank you Boruto can you and Sarada check on Himawari's scavenger hunt to see how's she's doing?
Boruto and Sarada: sure no problem
They go and follow the trail they marked throughout the village
Boruto: so Sarada how's training becoming hokage going??
Sarada: it's a lot of work...when I dreamed of being hokage I didn't realize how hard your dad has it trying to keep the village going with political matters and keeping the peace
Boruto: just try to get some rest...don't be like my old man exerting yourself trying to get tasks done
Sarada(getting upset): look I know you think I'm not capable but I am....I know being hokage has a lot of pressure but I can handle it
Boruto: remember if you need help don't be afraid to ask for it...being hokage is not a one man job
They arrive to Ino's flower shop, as they enter Inojin is working the counter as his mom is checking stock in the back
Inojin: it's good to see two love birds...so are you here to buy each other flowers...
Boruto(cutting him off): look Inojin I just want to make sure if my sister passed thru here....did she or not
Inojin: I just came from doing an errand....but my mom should know...you afraid a handsome stranger took your sister?
Before Boruto could do anything Sarada stopped him from causing havoc
Sarada: look if she passed by here can you at least let us know....
Ino(interrupting): hello Boruto and Sarada...your sister just passed thru here with Kawaki....it was lovely he helped her out with the scavenger hunt what a gentleman....
Boruto: WHAT....THE HELL! ...where did they go after!
Ino: I really don't know...but I can sense she's not in the village at the moment
Boruto's blood ran cold....he remembered the time he walked into Himawari kissing Kawaki and he stood there confused as she poured her feelings and he didn't respond to it. After that incident he moved out and since then lost touch with Boruto and Himawari altogether.
Sarada: so she's with Kawaki....why are you so angry
Boruto(balled fists): because Himawari still loves him...and those two being alone is dangerous enough
------‐-----
Himawari is starting to wake up after a passionate affair she encountered with Kawaki
Himawari(staring at kawaki while whispering): you said you love me....I'm so happy at the moment...best day of my life
She checks her phone is six thirty giving her a half an hour to get dressed and get to her birthday party celebration
Kawaki(grabbing her hand): where do you think your going Hime??
Himawari(bending down to kiss kawaki in the cheek): I have to get ready to go to my birthday celebration it starts at seven thirty
Kawaki(getting up to follow suit): ok I'll go with you...your dad hasn't seen me in a long time. Would love to catch up with him (teasing Himawari) maybe ask for his daughter's hand in marriage
Himawari(blushing): don't...speak....nonsense
Kawaki: I'm not....I wanna marry you one day...and start a family...and be with you...I don't want no one else but you
Thank you for reading my skit hope you liked it more coming soon😁😁

What we want:
Chapter 14
Sakura wasn’t doing well.
It had been a couple days since her miscarriage, and most of the time, she spent the day buried in the bed, staring at the opposite wall.
He still went into work and had to go home to watch over Himawari and Bolt, but always came by when he could.
There was no difference.
And Sarada would be home tomorrow.
He had to do something.

“Sakura?” He mumbled into the darkness, fumbling for her light switch. Snapping it on, he watched as the pink haired kuniochi flung the blanket over her head and burrowed into her blankets.
Naruto sighed, moving into the room quietly.
“Hey, Sakura?”
Silence.
He tried again, rubbing at his cheek, extremely nervous suddenly. He remembered all those times he received those punches from her.
Gulping audibly, he made his way over, sitting down in an empty space on the bed.
“Are you awake?”
Silence.
“You need to get up, Sakura.” He said to her prone form, watching her chest rise and fall.
Silence.
Naruto closed his eyes, feeling a rumbling in his chest.
Welp.
Rolling his eyes, he stopped and listened to what Kurama was going to say.
Your mate is upset.
“You think I don’t know that.” He grit out, bristling at the condescending tone.
Because of the pup?
Silence.
Kurama rumbled, snarling, gnashing his teeth at Naruto.
“What would you have me do? I can’t do anything.” He hissed out loud, feeling his own rage start to bubble up.
“Naruto?”
The blondes head whipped to the side, looking into the dull green eyes that were now looking at him, all arguments with the fox ignored.
“Sakura.” He gasped, gripping her hand that wasn’t tucked below the blankets.
She looked groggy, her cheeks puffy, nose raw from where she had been crying.
Still beautiful, no matter the circumstance.
“Are you talking to Kurama?” She mumbled, closing her eyes again.
Naruto blanched, but nodded his head.
“Y-Yeah, I don’t usually respond out loud to him. But, he’s angry.”
Sakura looked at him again, sniffling.
“Does he know about…?” And she trailed off, looking towards the window.
Naruto nodded.
Silence.
“Sakura? Is there anything I can do? I really want to help, please?” He almost begged her, desperately trying to find some way to pull her out of this depression.
She didn’t even look at him, but he could see the cloud fall over her features at his question.
“You’ve been in the bed for days now, Sakura, you should get up and move around a little bit. I’m trying hard to not push, but I’m worried about you.”
Silence.
He didn’t know what to do from here, he was at a complete loss and felt almost powerless.
“Sarada is coming home tomorrow.” She mumbled to him, moving the blanket off her face, to scratch at the rawness around her nose.
Naruto nodded.
She sighed, pushing at his hand to move out from underneath the covers, swinging her feet over the side of the bed.
The blonde stood up and held out a hand for her, but she pushed him away again, standing up on her own.
Naruto pushed that to the side, swallowing the hurt feelings that were rising up.
“You can go now, Naruto. Thanks for checking in on me, but I can take it from here.” She muttered, picking up a brush off her nightstand.
The young hokage just stared at her back, not understanding why she was brushing him off.
Opening his mouth to say something, he noticed that her fingers were trembling and he shut his mouth quickly.
She had just lost their baby. It wasn’t surprising that she needed some time alone, without the other half of the baby she had lost standing over her, asking a myriad of questions constantly.
Swallowing dryly, he tried to smile, “Okay, Sakura. But if you need anything. You know where I’ll be.” He told her quietly, walking up behind her to place a soft kiss on the top of her head.
She stopped brushing her hair, and stared at him through the mirror, giving a pointed nod as her eyes filled with more tears.
Naruto scrambled out, trying to block out the sob that followed him through the door.

“Mom! I’m home!” Sarada yelled into the house, noticing the food on the stove.
There was a shuffling in the room beside the kitchen, and Sakura popped out, wiping at her eyes hastily.
“Sarada!” She exclaimed, rushing forward to pull her daughter into a hug.
The raven haired kunoichi giggled, then blanched, “Mom. Too tight.”
Sakura let up a little but didn’t pull away altogether.
“Uh, mom? Are you alright?” Sarada asked, feeling her moms arms tremble around her frame.
She let her go abruptly, pulling away to hide her face from her child.
“Y-Yeah, just missed you is all.” Sakura whispered, wiping her tears away.
Sarada raised an eyebrow.
“I was only gone for a week. Did something happen while I was away?”
Silence.
Sarada got a cold feeling in the pit of her stomach.
“M-Mom? Did something happen while I was gone?” She asked again, this time more quickly and with a hint of dread behind the question.
He mothers gaze was focused on the floor, but she gave the tiniest nod.
Sighing deeply, Sakura gripped her hand, and pulled her into the living room, sitting her down on one of the sofas.
“You should sit down for this sweetheart.”

Sarada wiped tears off her cheeks when her mom was done telling the story. The pink haired matron completely cried out at this point.
“I wasn’t sure I should tell you right now, it’s hard for me to even understand.” She said to her daughter, sitting beside her prone form.
“I’m glad you did.” She muttered, reaching out to hold her mother’s hand.
Silence.
Sarada sniffled, sighing.
“What about the clinical trial?”
Sakura looked down, shrugging lightly.
“Ino told the Hokage-sama that he’s stable now. The post-surgery fever broke, we’re just waiting for him to wake up now.”
When she heard the news from Naruto on the third day of her bedroom blues, Sakura felt a rush of relief, then instantly a rush of dread. He might have slipped into a medical coma. And if that happened, and he never had any coherent brain waves, they would have to unplug him and let him go.
It wasn’t better after that thought, just made her feel even more guilt for the parents that would have to sit over their child and watch as his eyes stayed closed day after day.
“Mom. You did everything you could. You’re the best doctor this part of Konoha, and even beyond that. It’s not your fault if he doesn’t wake up.”
Sakura chuckled, wiping at her nose.
“Thank you, baby. It’s just, had I not performed this surgery, he could’ve had time with his family, before he died. Isn’t a little bit of time better than no time at all?”
Sarada stared her mother down.
“Yes, but he would’ve lived his life in pain, every day, being shot up with different drugs every three hours at the ripe age of 9, mama. Believe me that is not a life that he wanted.”
Sakura smiled, running her fingers through the short strands of her daughter’s hair.
“How’d you get so wise?”
Sarada smiled, “From you, of course.”

The two of them talked for a little bit longer, Sarada gushing about all the techniques she learned from her father, stayed up and watched a couple movies, then Sarada slipped into bed around nine, leaving Sakura to wash the dishes, even though Sarada told her to leave them for tomorrow.
It helped clear her mind of everything that was happening in her life, if only for a couple minutes.
She sighed, scrubbing at a particularly hard stain and thought about Naruto, remembering the look of pain when she dismissed him yesterday.
At the image of his wounded eyes, she heard a crash outside her front window and jumped slightly.
Growling, she grabbed a kunai that was resting on the shelf in the kitchen, focused her chakra into her right hand and flung open her door with the left.
“Wait, Sakura!” A frightened Naruto yelped, narrowly missing the punch that would have sent him into the neighboring land.
“Naruto!?”
He grinned slightly, taking a step back from the dangerous look in her eyes.
“Now, Sakura, I-I only came to see how you were doing, no need to get hasty.” He laughed nervously, taking a few steps backward as she advanced on him.
Bonk!
“Ow!” Naruto grunted, feeling the goose egg start to form on his temple.
Sakura rolled her eyes at him but smirked a little at his reaction. Felt like old times.

“Do you want some dinner?” She asked him as he pouted in one of the kitchen chairs.
He shook his head, losing the pout, now smiling at her. She couldn’t help but give a small smile back.
Silence.
Sakura grabbed a spare plate from her fridge, putting it before him.
“I said I wasn’t hungry, Sakura.”
She only raised an eyebrow.
“I know that you haven’t eaten anything but ramen in days, Naruto. Now that Hinata has moved out, I know there hasn’t been a lot of cooking going on in your home. If you’re ever there.”
Grunting, he just shrugged. They both knew she was right.

After he was done eating, he stood up and washed the bowl off, setting it aside on the towel. Turning, he watched Sakura quietly sip her tea.
“How are you?” He mumbled, not sure if he should bring up the topic or not.
Sakura side eyed him but nodded stiffly.
“Getting through it.”
Naruto shuffled his feet, crossing his arms.
“Does Sarada know?”
Nod.
“Are you upset with me, Sakura?”
Silence.
Setting her tea down slowly, she felt her eyes start to burn. Biting her lip, she turned to him, watching as his face fell.
“I’m mad at myself. It was my fault that the baby was lost, Naruto. I- I just got so stressed out, and I wasn’t taking care of myself the way I was supposed to.”
The blonde couldn’t listen to that nonsense anymore. Pushing himself away from the sink, he moved over to her and enveloped her in his arms.
Sobbing, she snuggled into his embrace, pushing her face against his stomach, letting her tears fall.
“It’s no-one’s fault, Sakura. Look at me, please look at me.” He begged her, cupping her face in his hands.
Pain filled eyes met his, and his stomach clenched at the pain that lay within them.
“We can always try again; do you hear me? This wasn’t it for us. And we will love that baby with everything we are, just like the children we have now. Okay? We will get through this, together.”
Sakura bit her lip to stifle another sob.
“H-How do you know, Naruto? How do you know we’ll get past this?” She whimpered.
Naruto stroked her cheeks, wiping some of the liquid away.
“Because we’ve gotten through so much before. Together. Remember all that chaos with the nine tails I put us through? And guess who was right beside me?”
Sakura stared at him.
“You. In the middle of all that chaos was you, Sakura. Always you. I was pretending for so many years it wasn’t you, but, I’m pretty sure we’re both tired of pretending.”
She nodded, sniffling, grabbing at his wrists to nuzzle her cheek in his palm.
“When it’s you and I, we’ll always get through.” He reassured her, kissing her forehead tenderly.

“Stay the night.” She whispered to him as he was putting his sandals on.
He looked up at her, and scratched at his whiskers, “Um, are you sure?”
Nodding, she switched the light off, flicking a heated glance over her shoulder at him.
They cuddled together in bed, Sakura’s head on Naruto’s bicep, both of them staring at the ceiling as he ran his bandaged hand through her hair.
“Did you mean it, Naruto?” Sakura whispered into the darkness.
He turned his eyes to her, catching the green of hers.
“Every bit of it.” He whispered to her, his heart swelling at the hopeful expression that fell over her features.
Cuddling closer to him, Sakura sighed, reaching out to run a finger over an abdominal muscle.
“It’s a shame we can’t start now.” She mumbled, trailing a path down his hard belly.
Naruto gulped, feeling a stirring in his lower half.
“We can’t, I read online that it takes two weeks for the body to get over a-a.” But he stopped, licking his lips, not wanting to say the word miscarriage.
Sakura smiled slightly, touched that he had looked up everything.
“I know.” She whispered, continuing her finger trek down his body.
Naruto felt his pelvis tighten as one finger turned into two, and she was steadily climbing downwards.
“Sakura?” He mumbled, trying to keep the haze out of his voice.
She hummed but kept going.
“I don’t think we should do anything right now. You’re still recovering, and I don’t want to do anything you’re uncomfortable with.” He grit out between clenched teeth.
Sakura stopped what she was doing, tucking her hand underneath his side, moving further into his warmth.
Naruto thanked Kami.
“I’m sorry.” She mumbled, feeling a little embarrassed.
“Hey no, I just don’t want you to feel you have to do anything, Sakura. You’ve been through a lot these past few days, and I just want you to be comfortable. That’s all.” He finished lamely, biting his lip.
The kunoichi just sighed, knowing that he was right. She wasn’t exactly ready for anything like that right now, and he seemed like he wasn’t either. The entire day had been very emotional for the both of them, and in all honesty, she was starting to get a stomachache.
“I’m still bleeding a little bit.” She murmured, feeling her face heat up.
He didn’t say anything, but she felt his worry anyway.
“It’s natural, the cervix needs time to heal, and my body just needs to readjust itself. Bleeding is normal for a miscarriage around this time.”
Naruto nodded, pushing her further against him, if that was at all possible.
“If you need me to do anything, get paperwork for you, or to talk to any of your nurses, I can do that.” He said, kissing her ear softly.
Warmth enveloped her chest, and she just nudged him back with her nose.
“Ino is coming by tomorrow to bring me everything. She came two days ago and told me about the clinical trial, there should be an update on him tomorrow. Hopefully there’s good news. If not, it’s still a waiting game.”
Silence.
“I think he’ll come out of it. He just has to find the will to do so.”
Sakura looked at the side of his face, watching his jaw clench, and whiskers move on his cheeks.
“What do you mean the ‘will’ to live?”
Naruto didn’t turn to look at her, just continued to stare at the ceiling.
“I just mean, when people know they’re sick, and there’s a chance they won’t ever stop being so, they can…give up on themselves.”
Silence.
“It doesn’t matter how many times others say it, or priests pray with you about it. You have to feel the need to continue on within you. Remember the will of fire that burns within the village?”
Sakura nodded.
“Well, the same can be applied here. That will has to burn within you to carry on.”
Sakura just stared at him, not knowing what she did to deserve a person like him to love her.
But she’d spend the rest of her life figuring it out.
Moving her hand up, she grabbed his fingers, intertwining there’s together, and shut her eyes against the darkness.
But this time, she felt only light.

welcome to me fixing boruto to make it make sense :) i started typing this in the tags but it was so so long anyway so. sasuke stays in konoha after the war & earns the trust of the village instead of leaving and gets help instead of isolation meaning team seven can resume being an active team after therapy bcs,,, war,,, and other stuff,, in which they actually learn to be a team!! you can't convince me that the half a year sasuke spent w them when he was 13 made them a cohesive unit ok wtf
naruto and sasuke take the fucking chunin exams wtf there’s no reason for them not to.. but it’s actually laughable because these two fucking grown 18yos, two goddamn powerhouses that could level half the country are competing against a bunch of 14yos and have to actively restrain themselves as not to kill them with a punch... then all three of them became jonin (let’s be real those three are absolutely stronger than the sannin at this point but i guess theres no higher position than jonin... ALSO the rest of konoha 11 become jonin as well??? like)
sakura teaches sasuke some medical ninjutsu because she & naruto can heal themselves but he can’t so. then they just resume acting as an active duty team operating close to the hokage, trying to smooth out things between the nations! THEN four years after the war they're like huh we're actually at peace and we can relax and live our lives!
naruto, 21 and experiencing a crisis, decides to try actually maybe doing something that doesn't relate to becoming hokage, to sasuke, or saving the world in any way & it's him who travels instead of sasuke & because i'm fixing boruto he travels w hinata and whatever whatever.
because naruto isn't there to be a buffer, sakura and sasuke are forced to interact regularly and become actual friends instead of just teammates and because sasuke now has people who actively want him to recover from his trauma he slowly learns to accept other ppl than naruto into his life. like sakura. who he finds actually pleasant to b around once she stops stanning and idolizing him and sees him as an actual person. he and sai have a kinda rocky friendship but they otherwise don’t bother each other... (sasuke gets cranky when he’s hanging out w sakura bcs sakura is his only friend and she’s not allowed to be busy)
sakura decides to put being a medic on hold and takes a genin team when shes 22 & her kids love fucking w sasuke and he lets them because they remind him of team seven :') sakura-sensei doesn’t stop them either because she thinks it’s hilarious when he’s trying to take a nap but they won’t let him, stick “kick me” notes on his back, and steal his scrolls when he isn’t looking...
sasuke mostly minds his business otherwise (he sometimes steps in as a sensei to sakuras team like yamato did for kakashi bcs he and sakura are good friends now and he can handle some kids thank you sakura) and occasionally takes some A rank missions when needed. the rest of konoha 12 begrudgingly accept him once he proves he’s an ally & he swears he doesn't like them but he actually doesn't mind their company now that he's doing better & they don't wanna kill him. “suprisingly” having other friends does him good! he patches things up with ino and apologizes (to both ino and sakura) for hurting sakura like that. kiba and shikamaru don’t completely forgive him yet but he’s trying now. he and shino have “hang out sessions” where they just sit in complete silence for an hour every two weeks.
at 23, he takes on his own genin team consisting of two twin girls and their older brother who were all orphaned in the war he's actually a good sensei now that he's had uuh seven? years of active recovery? (math brain damage) anyway this is boruto i'm fixing so he & sakura fall in love during those three years nart was away or whatever. and! wow! an actual loving relationship built on mutual respect, friendship, and trust! inovative
naruto comes back w hinata when hes 24 because he was invited to their wedding & wow he actually also had time to realize he was horribly mistreated by the village and come to terms with it during his travels making him more emotionally mature and less prone to throwing his life away for random ppl!! (also fell in love w hinata skdmdkd) and comes back after seeing how civilians live elsewhere and how other villages run and whatnot, ready to make changes after he becomes hokage
anyway they come back and naruto feels a little outta the loop bcs the village changed a lot under kakashis leadership (au where he actually does shit as hokage wow) and sasuke is marrying sakura and they BOTH have genin teams?? but then he throws the confusion back at them and says “lads hinata is actually pregnant” meaning none of them became parents at the tender age of 20,,,, like they do in canon,,
anyway naruhina gets married a year after sasusaku w little boruto present & then sarada is born a few months after the wedding but! because sasuke had enough time and love to recover he is actually a decent father who teaches his daughter about the uchiha clan! and naruto doesn't neglect his kids because of hokage duties once he takes the hat. (at the age of 34, making boruto 9 and himawari 4)
sakura doesn’t have to juggle staing home to raise her kid and being the head of a whole hospital (if i remember correctly) because sasuke is actually a present figure in hers and saradas life :) naruto gets to spend time with his children and deal with village relations without sending out clones to travel into a whole other country because shikamaru and sasuke have full authority to stand in in his absence. he spends less time running errands for random ppl (lmao what?? what was he proving by doing that??) but actually implementing changes and transforming the village for the better. that’s it.
(i’m unfortunately not even touching the whole orochimaru ordeal....wait ok let’s say he doesn’t fucking experiment on kids and instead of making yamato waste away watching him orochimaru stays in konoha under tight supervision and is allowed to idk adopt? mitsuki??... there fixed it)
anyway fuck canon stan hinata :)

Story? Modern? Regular? Hinata based?
Idk what to do for a story however this is pretty nice and i want a good hinata in naruhina fics but their aren't any so im making my own. Tell me what you guys think.
Headcannons:
Hinata's hugs
• She has always had such a motherly embrace and enegry that everyone but naruto, has called her mom once. Naruto doesn't get it.
Naruto has the safety aspect that everyone feels witm but Hinata has that warmth as well
• Nenji and shikamaru have an ongoinging battle to see who has called hinata mom, mother, ei. Any variation of the word.
• They both carried a black book with tally marks on their person, kiba has the most, but for the girls its a close tie with all of them. Sakura, Ino, and Tenten all put up with their teamates shenannigans. Temari isn't up there due to lack of interaction otherwise, you bet because of kankuro
• It was purely by accident on both parts. Shikamaru started noticing because kiba accidently called her mom in a fleating conversation.
• Shino accidently called her mother in a goodbye after dropping her off at the hyuga clan manor, neji was at the door waiting.
• Hinata doesn't fight it anymore, so she lets everybody start calling her it.
She did get upset when naruto called her mom once. As a joke but she did get super upset.
• Sasuke understand and has also fallen victim to calling her mom. It happened when he was drunk and laying on her lap. Sakura cried at the moment between them and joined on her other lap, soon everybody was hugging someone and they sort of sleep around hinata.
• Boruto was confused when he started noticing the grown ups around him call his mom, their mom as well. He threw a fit that day and clung to hinata more than usual.
• It eventually got resolved by the time himawari got born but it's still very memorable for both naruto and everyone involved.
Naruto's whiskers
• On the anniversary of the end of the 4th great ninja war, aka naruto's birthday. October 10th. Every started to wear his whisker in honor and recognition.
• Hinata was the one to start it after they got married. Soon their friends joined in and their mentors and outer circle did and soon enough, everyone in the village had whiskers on the 10 of October.
• Naruto cried alittle but ultimately felt full of joy at the effort. So when boruto and himawari inherited his whiskers, hinata joked alittle that they were always honoring and recognizing their father.
• If you couldn't already guess, naruto took that to heart and cherished them as much as he could.
Im going to add more
Edit: hi more is here
Self-sacrificing hinata
• To anyone, literally anyone. I am a bitch for bleeding-heart hinata (this is already true for Naruto but Hinata? She definitely has the same quality as him)
• Shino? She's there. Kiba? For Akamaru. He would be sad without his best friend. During missions, her team is the one with the least bloodshed and harmed (Partly because of her pacifist ways) but mostly because she doesn't want anyone on either side hurt, but she will knock you out in the least harmful of ways if you push her hard enough.
I have read that somewhere on tumblr and honestly i agree, because she loves everyone and will not let that love go. No matter how its projected. Brothery love? Good. Sibling rivalry? All the better.
These are her precious people, she will damn anyone that hurts them.
• Sakura? Thats her girl. Hell Sasuke? Sometimes.
• All of her friends appreiciate and know she will doe the extra mile. Because she feels the need to protect them even though they have the strength to defend themselves.
• For Naruto, she will always sacrifice her for him. In anyway. Losing sleep to stay up for him? Done. Taking weeks, if not months. For the perfect scars, beanies, and mittens during winter? Done.
• Almost dieing again while giving birth to Boruto? Done. (And again with Himawari.)
• Idk why that popped in my mind but can you imagine, just her going through the highest possible anesthetics without harming boruto and still having a 20+ hour labor.
• All throughout the process, Naruto is just panicing and Hinata is trying her hardest to calm him down but she's also worried for Boruto's safety. Like hinata is emotionally strong enough for both of them. (the war, her speech)
• But still, it gets a little easier when the midwife (Sakura) starts yelling at naruto to calm down and tsuande kicks them both out.
• But i can also imagine an easy birth for boruto about 13 hours and little complications.
You can not change my mind when I say that they are in an eternal honeymoon phase.Their eyes say everything, when they look at each other.
I honestly think they have another child, like maybe an older sibling but died during the chunin exams or maybe on a c rank mission gone wrong.
Or maybe because both hinata and naruto almost died themselves during their chunin exams and are just worried about boruto being cocky so they dont cheer? At all? Idk but they are very serious when watching boruto battle.
I feel like the hyugas are emotional less or don't know what that was until the new generation with hinata and hanabi, more so with boruto and himawari.
They are changing, slowly but they probably weren't allowed to until they were born. But doting hisashi and doting neji? God i wanna cry.

Is there any one in the naruto fandom, who also believes that there isn't any usleess character in naruto.
I mean, all characters have their own role and abilities, which doesn't make them usleess. I find it a little annoying how people call some characters, usless, because they don't do alot of fighting. Such as the lead kunoichis.
It's not their fault they have that teammates who upstage them, because they love fighting. Some people would say that this bad writing. But if think of it this way, Hinata, sakura, Tenten, and Ino don't get a chances to show their potential, because their team take over.
Like in hidan battle, Ino could've use this chance to show us what she can do, but didn't, why because the back team, took the spotlight. But it was still an awesome fight. But when the characters finally does something that get everyone attention, like Sai's battle against Diedara. There is always another scene that comes along and as well take the spotlight, like when everyone is taken to the front line.
In my opinion, no characters are useless, I mean they all try their best to become stronger, fight enemies, they are only human *fictional *, and you do get other taking over their fights. They all be useless, if they don't fight or do nothing.
Sakura is doctor, but gets called useless, in reality, she isn't useless, why because she is out there saving lives, hinata isn't useless, because she's raising a her children, she is being a mother, she can't really leave himawari on her own, sure she has hiashi and Hanabi, but they can't always take care of her. Just because we don't see a character fight, don't make them useless or weak. They all playing their own roles
Besides, if they were useless, then they wouldn've died, with the kind of mission they were given. Even with their team. Also, just because we see a character cry few times, don't make them a crybady or weak they are being human. I mean the mission they go on, isn't safe I'm pretty sure we or most of us would do the same.
And I wouldn't say this isn't bad writing. Because, there are so many grounds to cover and little time. Coming up with a story isn't easy as it looks. Just because authors don't show some characters full potential, is surely to the fact, they are busy with the main story and roles.
All writers, try their best to give and deliver, but with fandom saying it's bad writing because they don't go into full details of a character or something, would be frustrating. Because they are doing what they love and with these kind of words, doesn't help, not one bit,
Here is an example, someone wrote a book, and published it, people saying it's bad writing how they don't include somethings or missed out something, it can bring the writer down, because they work so hard to deliver, as well as, some say how their writing is lazy, because they gone straight into it or something.
You get all these words, for the original, but then when someone makes a fanfiction, which isn't as good, people don't say its lazy or bad writing, to them because they are afraid to do it to author, yet, to original, people are not afraid to say what they think. Which can hurt some author feeling. Or probably forgot they are only humans and how some fans try to take over the work or something. Because they don't like how the original Is going.
To me, this isn't fair.
This only came to me, because I was reading some comments somewhere, and they were saying how some characters are badly written and stuff, but then, I remembered, fanfiction, we all found something we didn't like like, but afraid to tell them, yet, fans won't hesitate to point out all the bad in original work. Then make a song and dance of it.
I don't know if anyone else out there also realise these, I'm referring to any author to let you know. For the top part of this about the naruto characters, I'm not looking for any debate or anything, I'm pointing out my opinion. And stuff.
But I know there are also some good fanfiction. It just, I have nothing against them, I mean I write fanfiction and read them, also writing a story that isn't fanfiction, it just how some fans write about the original characters in their own way, sure they are all fictional and don't really matter because they aren't real, but when an author makes a character and a fan turn character into a demonic diva, it would be annoying.
Think about it, you wrote a character who is a cinnamon roll, then something see the character, writing a fanfiction and change the hole concept of the character, that author probably spends a long time making. It be like someone makes Harry Potter the villain and valamore a completely good character.
Well that's all, I put this under the fanfiction tag, only because I was talking about fanfiction and yea.
Well then, a good day

Dates and Distractions
Life for Sarada had always revolved around her single mother. Mom was the one who came to the rescue, mom made the brownies for school functions, mom cleaned the house, mom worked for the money, mom got the groceries, mom took care of her, mom helped her with her homework, and mom loved her. Her mom was special, and dangerous, and lonely. But tonight she had decided to do something for her single mom with her absentee father because he was back tonight. Still tonight was mostly for her mom rather than anyone else; it was to make her lonely mom happy.
Sarada noticed how lonely her mom would be some nights. Those were the nights that Sarada concealed her chakra and saw her mom sitting alone on the porch with tears in her eyes. Sarada was four when she first remembered seeing her mom cry, and she didn’t know why her mom was crying. Promptly she had run out into the night and hugged her mom saying she loved her and didn’t want her mom to be sad. Her mom had hugged her and said she wasn’t sad, then her mom had tucked her into bed again, kissed her brow and left her to sleep. Sarada remembered that night like it had happened yesterday.
And for years she noticed that about her mom, her mom never cried unless she thought she was alone, and Sarada had never revealed that she knew her mom was crying. In that respect she had a very different view of parents. Though all her friends complained about their parents and complained about being pestered Sarada knew parents hurt too so she didn’t complain about her mom. Instead, from the time she was really small to now she always helped her mom out in every way she thought possible, cleaning the house (though she had to learn sweeping the dirt under the rug didn’t make it clean), to buying groceries (usually she was short on money and the shopkeepers loved her so they let her take what she needed and pay with her allowance, her mom would still go back and pay for the food though), and even cooking (ramen was good). Her mom let her help, and Sarada would always feel happy about this.
Her mom was also different from her friends’ parents because her mom was a single parent. Sarada hadn’t understood when she was younger that her father was merely absent because he was off saving the world, she had only known that her mom was alone. When she was about six she started asking about her absent father, she had noticed at that age that she didn’t have a father and all of her friends did. Her mom had smiled and poked her forehead affectionately with an ‘I’ll-tell-you-when-you’re-a-little-older’. It was code for 'it-hurts-to-talk-about’ for her mom; and yes she noticed that now but when she had been six she hadn’t. Nothing could hurt her mom when she had been six, because her mom had a monsterous strength, superb chakra control, and was the best medic-nin in the history of shinobi; even surpassing her Grandma Tsunade.
Though she only had one parent Sarada had a lot of adoptive aunts and uncles and grandparents. She had Grandma Tsunade and Aunt Shizune who were funny; Aunt Shizuno was a worry wart and Grandma Tsunade let her do as she pleased, which usually involved learning a bit about chakra and medical ninjutsu. She had Uncle Kakashi; though her mom would threaten him with death if he read any Icha Icha books around her; she wondered what Icha Icha was; but Uncle Kakashi was fun to be around. He told her stories about her mom when her mom had been little and they were so funny sometimes she would die laughing; she couldn’t imagine her mom being so love struck that she would be that weak.
Uncle Naruto and Aunt Hinata were always busy, they had Boruto and Himawari to take care of but she was always welcomed in their loud home. Uncle Shikamaru and Aunt Temari were fun too, though she hated playing shōgi because she always lost after hours of planning and executing; Shikamaru said she was a challenging opponent though. Her Aunt Ino and Uncle Sai were so strange it was like she was on a different planet when she landed with them there. Aunt Ino was loud, bossy, demanding and nosy; Uncle Sai, while having good intentions; was just weird but she still liked being around them and Inojin wasn’t bad company when she desired company.
For the most part though, Sarada would rather be alone than with her friends, and she thought it odd. Chōchō said that was just because she was cool, but Sarada didn’t care. All she cared about; even now was her mom and her dad and keeping her few friends safe. It was because of her minimal affections for others that had led her to doing this tonight; well this and a devious plan which would probably scar both Chōchō and Boruto for life but they deserved what was coming to them! Anyways, back to her harebrained scheme she had enlisted the help of Shikadai for that tonight and now both she and Nara were watching from the shadows to see if her plan was working.
Her mom was smiling with joy, her dad was irritatingly indifferent but at least her parents were here and her plan was working as she happily bit her bottom lip to keep herself from cheering at the sight. The Nara boy sighed about this being troublesome but she ignored his attitude because he had offered to help her; and why he had been willing to help her when this was so 'troublesome’ was beyond her.
“Shush, they’ll hear us!” she hissed, he lifted a brow and looked at her with blank green eyes. She frowned then peeked as her father seated her mom in the restaurant. Sarada smiled with glee then grabbed Shikadai’s arm to drag him after her as they slipped stealthily through the shadows. For her climbing the tree with chakra was no problem, she had to drag Shikadai up after her as they sat on the branch watching the date she had arranged for her parents.
“Why are you doing this?” Shikadai asked as he got comfortable on the branch. She looked at her long time, lazy friend and sighed.
“I want my mom to be happy,” she murmured. And it was apparent that her parents were happy when they were together but she didn’t know if her father was happy or not. Her dad was not the easiest of people to read.
“How do you think Boruto and Chōchō are doing on that blind date you set up?” Shikadai asked.
“Probably cursing, but they had it coming and I never said I was going on the date,” she defended. Boruto hadn’t been as easy to dupe into the date as Chōchō but she had been successful in her quest to get him to agree to the 'date’ by saying she had been looking forward to it. The dobe had thought she had been asking him on a date, she had merely planned it to get back at his insufferable ungratefulness and Chōchō because she was being dramatic about her parent situation. Sarada thought it would be a fitting punishment for those two for being annoying. Still she like them both but lessons had to be taught and forcing them to endure each other’s company for a prepaid night would be a good lesson for them. She smiled a bit as she activated her Sharingan to see better just how her parents’ date was going. Shikadai used his shadow jutsu to keep her from falling.
~~~*~*~*~~~
Sakura smiled a bit, both from being happy and sensing her daughter’s chakra. Sasuke smirked a bit.
“She’s here,” he murmured sounding amused.
“Of course she is, who do you think set this up?” Sakura asked him amused by her daughter’s antics. Sarada had set this up obviously and she was going to see this date through though her father had wanted nothing more than to sit at home and relax. He was here merely because their daughter had demanded him to take her out; Sakura had had nothing to do with arranging this date.
“I didn’t know she and the Nara kid were close,” Sasuke said after they had been served dinner. Sakura smiled at the waiter who blushed the hurried away under Sasuke’s glare.
“She’s close to all the kids but she would rather be alone, I’m surprised Shikadai even bothered to come with her, he’s so like his father it’s amusing.” Sakura ate her meal in a silent bliss. What her baby didn’t know was that she was most used to this silence and indifferent behavior that Sasuke displayed; it was difficult to be mad at him for being himself. But it appeared that Sarada was determined for them to be on this date and Sasuke had caved and brought her here and now she was being spied on by her daughter and Shikadai. Though Shikadai helping with this was most surprising as she and Sasuke ate in a comfortable silence.
“Her Chūnin Selection Exams are coming up,” Sakura said indifferently.
“Uh-huh,” he replied. She smiled.
“So Boruto? Is he going to participate?”
“The dobe’s son is just like him and determined so yes; besides I’ll only teach him if he’s willing to participate in the exam.” Sasuke shrugged and Sakura laughed happily because that sounded just like Boruto and Naruto. Honestly the two were so similar that it made her laugh. And the funniest thing was Boruto tried to be as different from his father as possible; he was failing miserably at it because he was turning out to be exactly like Naruto in the long run.
“Remember when we were genin and Naruto was hell bent on being better than you in every way?” Sakura asked.
“Hn,” he replied meaning yes.
“I think he did beat you in the long run,” Sakura said happily. Sasuke’s eyes narrowed then, she smiled. “He’s Hokage after all, and he’s in control of Kurama so I think he beat you in the long run.”
“I got you,” he pointed out, she smiled brilliantly and the sighed.
“Yes you did, and just think you and Naruto have children the exact same age on the same team who despise one another, oh the possibilities,” she mused deviously. It was good for Sasuke to worry, though it was also good that aside from Chōchō, Sarada was surrounded by boys. Sasuke paled, she let her lips curve into a devious smile as she leaned forward on the table. “After all, you despised me when we started, and being hated by an Uchiha…”
She was silenced when he grabbed her by the shoulders and pulled her close to him.
“Sarada is not marrying anyone!” he hissed through clenched teeth, she laughed before he kissed her. She then just stared at him, he smirked and there was a loud crash outside.
“Lets go,” he dragged her away then, she laughed.
~~~*~*~*~~~
The fastest way to shut Sakura up and to distract a daughter; kiss Sakura. He had seen his daughter and the Nara brat fall into the bushes and then he had grabbed Sakura to drag her off. It also got his wife off of the topic of his daughter growing up and getting married.
Come tomorrow though, that blonde idiot kid was going to have the fear of Kami installed in him because there was no way in hell his angel would ever marry that blonde dobe. He’d make that clear, but for tonight and right now he’d enjoy the pinkette he had stolen from the older blonde dobe when they had been children. And he’d leave his daughter to her own devices for the night. No doubt she’d try to follow them, she was like her mother in that aspect; and she was dragging the Nara brat along. For some reason her being with Shikadai did not bother him as much as her being with the other boys of her age group, Shikadai wasn’t going to try anything because he was too much like Shikamaru.
Sasuke smiled a bit as he laced his fingers with Sakura’s and they walked home in silence. He barely got her home before his mouth was on hers’ again and she was shoved against the door. Sarada’s date had worked better than she would ever know as Sasuke dragged Sakura to bed and smiled when she laughed.

What we want:
Chapter 15
(It gets dirtyy people. ;))
“You’re staring, Ino.”
The blonde just flung her hands up, rolling her eyes.
“Well, excuse me forehead for being concerned about you!” She snapped.
Sakura just raised an eyebrow.
“I mean, come on Sakura. You had a-“
“I’m aware of what I went through, okay?” Sakura interrupted, grabbing her tea cup, trying to hide the trembling in her fingers.
Ino just eyed her, mouth firmly shut now.
Silence.
“I just want to move on. I need to for my sake, and for Sarada’s. I wasn’t that far along anyway.” Sakura shrugged.
Ino only shook her head.
“Yeah, well, it doesn’t make the loss hurt any less.”
Sakura sighed, but didn’t respond.

Naruto was staring out his office window, when a knock on the door brought him around.
Kakashi.
“Lord Hokage? Am I interrupting anything?” Kakashi asked, followed by a light blanch behind his mask.
The blonde shook his head.
“Just thinking about Sakura. Last I saw her was over two weeks ago. Her and Ino have been working on Kyona’s case notes, waiting on him to show some sign of waking up. Which he’s not. And it’s really…it’s bringing her down.”
Kakashi nodded, dropping into a chair across from Naruto’s desk.
“Anything on Hinata?”
Naruto just shrugged.
“Heard she’s been seen around town, looking particularly happy. Her new job is treating her well, I’ve looked into some of the stuff they’ve had her do.”
Kakashi listened.
“Bolt and Himawari are staying with me tomorrow, so I have to start leaving earlier later on in the week.”
Silence.
Naruto rubbed his temples, willing his fifth upcoming headache of the day away.
It never helped.
“Well, I’m not sure it’s my business, but how is Sakura doing after the uh-the miscarriage?”
Naruto just looked at him.
“She’s covering up how she really feels. We’ve talked about it, and she isn’t in bed anymore, which I’m wholly grateful for. Other than that, she’s been trying to move on.”
Kakashi just nodded, feeling the knot that he came in here with start to tighten again.
“Naruto. There’s been a ripple of disturbance outside the village.”
The blondes ears perked up, Kurama stirring.
“What kind of disturbance are we talking about here?”
Kakashi leaned up, reaching up to pull his mask down.
Huh, that’s new.
“So, you’re just taking your mask off willy nilly now?” Naruto asked, eyebrow arching.
Kakashi shrugged, “Well, after nineteen years I think you’re due some face time. And since I don’t go out on missions as much, I don’t see the point of constantly concealing my features anymore.”
Can’t argue with that logic.
“Anyway, what I mean by disturbance is a simple ripple, like when I got thrown into a Tsukuyomi. I’m not quite sure what it is.”
Naruto stared at him for a moment and looked out the window.
Something wasn’t right about this.
“You said it was outside the village?” Naruto asked the silver haired man.
Kakashi nodded, crossing a leg over his knee.
“It was only once, I was coming in from training with some of the younger ninjas and just felt…off.”
Naruto nodded, feeling Kurama stir again.
Welp. Something isn’t right about this.
“Naruto.” Kakashi interjected, and he looked over at the older man, raising an eyebrow towards him.
“Yeah?”
“I haven’t felt it since, maybe it was just a fluke?”
The blonde didn’t believe that though.
He said nothing.

Sakura sighed for the thirtieth time, wanting to just get home.
She had spent the majority of her day looking over research notes with Ino. Her sick leave was up tomorrow, and she was trying to restock her kitchen and food.
Grabbing a couple of leaks, Sakura checked her basket, and thanked Kami.
She finally had everything.
Standing up abruptly, she accidentally ran into a person who was walking behind her.
“Oh gosh, I’m so sorry.” She said, turning to apologize.
Hinata.
Both of the women just stared at the other, and Sakura felt a trickle of uneasiness roll down her spine.
Silence.
The raven haired woman just continued to look at her, white eyes starting to mist over.
Oh Kami, was she going to cry?
Sakura wasn’t sure if she could bear that.
“I’m so sorry.” She whispered firmly, and turned around to leave, when she felt a hand on her elbow.
Sigh.
Turning her head a little, she watched as Hinata put a firm expression on.
“Let’s talk somewhere, please?”

It was awkward. Oh Kami, was it awkward.
They sat in silence for close to ten minutes, until finally Sakura broke it.
“Hinata. I’m so sorry.” She whispered, feeling the sting of tears start to cloud her eyes.
The Hyuuga nodded softly.
“I didn’t mean for any of this to happen. And I know that sounds really cliche, but, I’m telling you the truth. I swear.”
Hinata nodded again, taking small sip from her tea.
Sighing soundly, she put down her cup gently.
“I understand that you didn’t plan any of this, Sakura. But, I don’t know how you and I can ever be true friends again.”
Sakura bit her lip but nodded, knowing that was coming.
“I know you must hate me, Hinata.”
The darker haired woman shook her head at that, fiddling with her cup.
“I don’t hate like that. Not when I know that feelings can’t be helped between two people.” Hinata muttered, glancing away from the pinkette to stare out the window.
Sakura wanted to ask what that meant, but decided to mind her own business regarding the matter.

That night, Sakura laid in her bed, staring at the ceiling, thinking about her conversation with Hinata. They parted on amicable terms, both of them waving slightly and heading off from one another.
Sakura didn’t know how to take any of that, it seemed like nothing had been mended.
She didn’t know if it ever could be.
Knock.
“Why do you always have to climb in my window, Naruto?” She asked in exaggeration, watching the six feet tall man stumble through into her home.
He was such an idiot sometimes.
“I just don’t want to wake Sarada. I don’t want her to be uncomfortable.” He responded, removing his sandals, putting them beside the door.
“She knows pretty much all there is to know. Well, not everything.”
The young Hokage snapped his head towards her, arching an eyebrow.
“Does she really?”
Sakura nodded, shrugging lightly.
“She’s really perceptive, it’s one of her many talents.” Sakura smiled.
Naruto chuckled, leaning back on his elbows, yawning a little bit.
Sakura watched him remove the majority of his clothes, glancing over his body. Kami, he looked so different from the teenage boy he used to be. All of his skin was sun-kissed, his arms and legs lightly smattered with blonde hair. Then there were his muscles, they had only grown firmer, and expansive over his body.
He was nothing short of beautiful.
“Sakura?”
She shook her head, clearing the fog from her mind.
“Were you talking the whole time?”
He nodded, giving her a little smirk.
“What were you thinking about, Sakura?” He asked, feigning innocence.
The pinkette just smiled a little, “Wouldn’t you like to know?”
Naruto nodded, laying back on the bed again, his muscles bunching up around his stomach, his abdomen flexing in the low light of the room.
His blue eyes never leaving hers, he moved his hand down his stomach, over his thighs and right over his manhood, cupping it in front of her.
Sakura sucked in a breath, feeling heat settle in her belly and burn downwards.
“You wouldn’t.” She said to him, the both of them still locking eyes, her daring him to continue.
He gave a cheeky grin, fingertips grazing over the front of his boxers, teasing the hardening appendage trapped in the cloth.
“Oh, I would, Sakura.” He whispered huskily.
She sucked in a breath, moving over to the door to lock it.

“Are you in any pain?” Naruto mumbled against her skin, the two of them making out for the last few minutes.
Sakura shook her head.
“N-No. Since you left last, I’ve stopped bleeding.”
Naruto nodded.
“Any pain?”
Sakura shook her head vigorously, trailing her hand down his chest.
“Good.”
Pushing himself onto his elbows, Naruto grabbed a hold of her legs and pulled her towards him, eliciting a sharp gasp from the woman.
Running his hands up her thigh, he stopped at the button on her pants, flicking his eyes up in permission to continue.
She nodded.
Leaning up, he found her lips with his, managing to get her pants unclasping, shoving them downwards.

After they were both nude, the two of them just lay still, kissing over skin and groaning lightly into the night air.
Naruto trailed his lips up, running his tongue over her neck, stopping at the shell of her ear.
“Nngh.” Sakura gasped, clutching his biceps.
Naruto smirked at the sound, feeling a rush of pride alight within him. He loved the sounds he could get her to make.
“Sakura.” He mumbled, shoving his nose into her hair, moving his right hand down her belly and through her soft curls at the base of her womanhood.
Green eyes swept up to meet his gaze, cheeks rosy.
Groaning, he played with her entrance, gathering up the fluid that was going to make his trek inside of here easier.
Sakura lifted her hips, trying to force his finger inside.
Tsking, Naruto pulled away.
“Patience, Sakura.” He growled down at her, watching as a shudder vibrated through her body.
Naruto had plans for her tonight.
Moving down the bed, Naruto ran his hand over her ass, a rising growl from Kurama coming forward.
Pushing it back, he grasped at Sakura’s thighs, flipping her around. Squeaking slightly, Sakura looked back at him over her should, raising an inquisitive brow.
He only smirked, pulling her hips up from the bed.
“What are you doing?” She whimpered, her thighs starting to tremble.
Naruto didn’t answer, kissing her hipbone softly, trailing down to her beautiful, shaking thighs. His tongue following suit after.
Pushing her up a little bit, Naruto’s fingers grabbed at her ass fully, opening her up for him to view every crevice.
Sakura gasped loudly, swiftly biting her tongue.
“Gotta be quiet, Sakura.” Naruto muttered hotly.
Kami, was she beautiful.
He was definitely an ass man.
Her hole was almost hairless, her womanhood itself only covered with a very small amount of hair as well.
Moving out, he watched as the liquid on her essence lay trapped between her folds, beckoning him in.
Dipping low, he licked lightly at her folds, a light gasp hitting his ears from above.
Grunting softly, his hands still gripped at her inner thighs to hold her open, his mouth and tongue tracing her clit and labia over and over again, tremors starting to run entirely through her.
“You taste so damn good.” He told her, kissing her clit, trying to catch as much of her essence as he could.
Sakura whimpered, shoving her hips back against his face, starting to move her hips to his ministrations.
“Yeah, that’s it, Sakura. Get into it for me.”
Kami, he was hard.
But, he had a mission, and this was almost it, but not quite.
Continuing to kiss at her wetness, Naruto moved up and up.
“Oh, oh Kami.” Sakura grit out, feeling his tongue move over her…other area.
Naruto didn’t notice, tonguing at her tightly furled hole, groaning at the noises she was making, her hips riding his face slowly.
Fuck, he had to have her.
Pulling back, Naruto quickly slid a finger into her heat, hissing at the tightness that welcomed him.
“Y-Yes, please. Please, Naruto.” She gasped out, moving up and down his hand, throwing her head back and moaning.
The blonde nodded, swiftly adding a second finger, blue eyes devouring the image of her body taking him in.
Pulling his fingers out gently, Naruto grabbed his manhood, slicking up the pulsating skin, hissing at the contact.
Sakura was whimpering, digging her fingers into the bedspread.
Plunging forward, Naruto pushed his throbbing length through her folds, leaning down to suck at her neck and buck his hips forward, driving himself inside.
“O-Oh.” Sakura gasped.
Naruto lifted himself off of her upper body, sitting back on his haunches, shoving her front into the bed, moving over her quivering form again.
“N-Naruto!” She gasped, pushing her hips back on his dick, gasping and moaning with him as she drove herself towards her pleasure.
“Just like that, Sakura. Take it, take it all.”
She bit her lip, shutting her eyes.
Gripping her wrists in his hands, Naruto watched her body arch into his pelvis, his entire girth buried inside of her, making him want to snarl and dig his fingers into her hips. Shaking his head, he shoved back the possessiveness he felt, feeling Kurama stir.
Welp.
Breed her.
Naruto’s nostrils flared at the pink opening taking him in, sucking in his manhood.
“Yes.” He hissed, setting a faster pace.
Sakura flailed, meeting every thrust of his with her own.
“I’m c-close.” She whimpered.
Naruto growled, pushing his nose into the crook of her neck, feeling the chakra of Kurama take him over.
Fangs elongating, eyes reddening, Naruto sniffed at the spot he had marked before and nibbled at it, keeping up with his constant thrusting.
“Naruto!” Sakura suddenly cried out.
Do it now!
Sinking his fangs into the same spot, Naruto felt as Sakura stilled, and started shaking, rolling her hips sporadically.
“Coming. I’m coming.” She gasped.
And he followed right after her.

Sakura was snuggled up to him, drawing lazy circles on his stomach.
“Are you going to do that every time?”
Naruto looked over at her, feeling a wave of unease fall over him.
“The biting?”
Sakura nodded.
“I-I don’t have to do it, if it makes you uncomfortable, Sakura. O-Or if it hurts, does it hurt?” He rambled.
Sakura sat up and looked at him, giving a small smirk.
“If you haven’t noticed, I rather enjoy it. If you were to do anything I don’t like, I’d tell you. Okay?”
Naruto nodded slowly, grasping the back of her head, pulling her lips to his.

“I have something to tell you Sakura. And I think you’re the perfect person to talk to about it.”
The pinkette nodded, staring into his face.
“Kakashi came into my office today and said he felt a ripple outside the village.”
Sakura furrowed her eyebrow, snuggling into his side further.
“A ripple?”
Naruto nodded.
She pondered for a second, feeling a strange tugging in her belly at the mere mention of this ‘ripple.’
Suddenly, it hit her.
Sitting up straight, Sakura grabbed her chest, feeling her breathing quicken.
Naruto gripped her elbow, “Sakura? Are you okay? What’s wrong?”
Gasping, Sakura felt the room roll around her. Oh Kami, she couldn’t breathe.
“I-I can’t…can’t..” She tried to tell him, clutching her throat, feeling the onslaught of hysteria and panic wash over her.
“Sakura. Breath. Look at me.”
She did.
“You’re having a panic attack. Just breathe. In for five, out for five. Here, do it with me.”
At that, they both sucked in air at the same time, Sakura shaking in his arms.

After a few minutes, Sakura seemed to have pulled herself together.
“Are you alright?” Naruto questioned, keeping his hand near her person.
Sakura nodded.
“I’m sorry, that just brought up a lot of unpleasant memories. I-It was when we got sucked into that Tsykuyomi. F-From Madara.”
Naruto’s eyes widened.
“Menma.”
Sakura nodded.
“Oh Kami, what if it’s him? What would he want here?”
Silence.
Sakura stared at the tick in Naruto’s cheek until she couldn’t take it anymore. Standing up, she started to pace by her window, gripping her hair, whimpering.
“Sakura. Hey.” Naruto called out to her, getting out of the bed.
She didn’t answer.
He reached out and gripped her shoulder, turning her around, pressing her against his chest.
“It’ll be alright.” He whispered into her hair.
Sakura just shook her head.
“Naruto. If it is him, he could cause some serious damage. Remember what happened last time? He tried to take the nine tails from you! And he almost succeeded!”
The blonde squeezed her against him harder.
“Well, if memory serves me correctly, we won that, Sakura.”
The kunoichi just shuddered, taking a deep breath in.
“I know. I was just so afraid of losing you.”
Naruto gripped her cheeks softly, pulling her gaze to his.
“Together, remember?”
Sakura nodded.
“Together.”
