You and Jihoon were staying at your apartment. Having a fun little sleepover since her major was kicking her ass at the moment. It was around mid-morning, 9 am. To your absolute shock, The ocelot hybrid has woken up at a normal-ish time. Only bad part was that she suddenly wanted to bake something at your house, together. You didn't have any baking supplies or appliances, mostly finding yourself to be the type to cook instead of bake.
"C'mon! let's go to the mall and shop!"-
"And you're going to pay..?"
"Hell yeah! I got my allowance from my girlfriend!"
"God I feel bad for her...."
"I'm being a good girlfriend ya know!!"
That was how you found yourself at a mall, with an ecstatic Jihoon, excited to spend every dime and dollar she had on creating baked goods. You were sure you’d be the one doing half, if not all the work though. You and Jihoon arrive at the department store of the mall, her already dragging you to the appliances section to buy the needed equipment. You looked at all the mixers, pots, pans, all the baking galore. They all looked as you expect, pretty much perfect and shiny. One of the mixing stands had caught your eye, it looked like any other mixer but it had an adorable rose-gold color. You just felt the need to have it so you approached it, not minding the wild Jihoon behind you that was close to breaking just about everything in the store. You held your breath as you were about to flip the price tag to show you how much it was, quickly releasing it when you realized it was a good price. As you were about to turn around and tell Youngji about it, your words stuck in your throat as you saw a familiar wolf hybrid
“Hey Y/N! Meet my friends, Namjoon and Hoseok!” Jihoon waved you down from the tool section of the store. You gulped down your nerves and walked to them.
“Hey there bun, we met on the metro right?” Namjoon greeted you with a dimpled smile and hand stretched out. “I’m Namjoon, The wolf you met.”
You took his hand with a shy smile and red cheeks. This certainly wasn’t how you were expecting to see the two of them again. “Y/N, if it isn’t obvious enough I’m a bunny” You laughed nervously.
You then looked at his friend next to him, He was near Namjoon’s height. A fox hybrid. He had sharp features, a perfect nose, high cheekbones, and a heart grin on his lips. He was just as handsome as the rest of the guys you’ve met these days. Seeing as you were looking at him, he introduced himself
“I’m Hoseok, but you can call me Hobi!” He greeted with an excited grin plastered on his face. The moment he had your hand, he shook it aggressively with his tail wagging behind him. Honestly, if he wasn’t a fox, he’d be a dog hybrid with how energetic he is. You loved his energy though! He was like the best friend you never knew you needed. He was honestly adorable, another potential for a mate.
“Anyway, what brings you two here!” Jihoon exclaimed, puffing up her chest and pushing out more of her alcohol-smelling scent. You almost forgot Jihoon was an alpha, and that you forgot to stuff your nose and scent glands with scent blockers.
“Well Jihoon, we were out doing errands for a pack member.” Namjoon answered while Hobi was side-eyeing Jihoon, looking her up and down with distaste on his face and his tail swishing behind his back. It was honestly hilarious
“No wonder! I was about to ask why the great Namjoon was in the baking section when he’d burn a damn house down!”
“Oh fuck off Jihoon, you’d set a neighborhood on fire with your skills.” Namjoon retorted with a roll of his eyes, right before bursting out laughing with Hobi. You couldn’t help but chuckle at the antics of the three.
“Since Hobi and Y/N have the most skill out of us, you two can lead the group while me and Namjoon will just be behind the two of you” Jihoon suggested with a grin, quick to push the two of you to the front with a glint in her eye that you couldn’t understand. I mean, this was Jihoon, she was probably just gonna be weird with Namjoon.
You started walking with Hobi, keeping your eyes straight ahead and trying not to embarrass yourself in front of him. You did take a few quick glances at him and he looked so calm, with a lazy smile on his face to reflect his attitude at the moment. You didn’t notice that with your actions at the moment, you were unconsciously pushing out your scent without knowing.
“I like your scent, Y/N” Hobi softly smiled at you, looking back at him with red cheeks. “It makes me feel calm honestly”
“I’m guessing you like the smell of baked goods?” You giggled softly, taking a deep breath before offering him your wrist. He in return, was quite surprised at your action but welcomed it. Hobi didn’t grab your wrist, but instead just softly smelled your scent gland and smiled. He really is a gentleman. You were grateful that he was an alpha that was one of a kind, an alpha that was kind and treated omegas with respect. He pulled away and offered you a thankful heart grin.
“You can take my wrist if you’d like..”
“Oh no it’s alright, just your scent from here is enough. You were kind of pushing it out a bit..” He teased you and laughed, not a mocking laugh but an amused laugh. His laugh was contagious, it was like something that triggered a domino effect to anyone who heard it, you just happened to be one of those people.
“I mean, I’m not the one that likes my scent.” You laughed with him and smacked his arm lightly with a grin that mirrored his. You saw how his tail was wagging around excitedly and shaked with each one of his laughs.
As the two of you laughed, you didn’t notice how Jihoon and Namjoon were somewhat conversing seriously. Their tails still, their gazes were neutral and close to cold. Jihoon’s arms were behind her back while Namjoon’s were crossed.
“You’re interested in courting Y/N to be packmate?” Jihoon said cooly and glared at Namjoon, close to baring her teeth at him. Namjoon simply nodded at her, keeping his stance and showing he isn’t scared of her.
“I’ll have you know, Y/N is my packmember in the pack of my girlfriend and I. You’ll need to get our approval first before you’ll be able to court him. You and your pack better be ready to work for it.”
“We are. My pack and I have already talked about it and we are ready to prove that we are more than capable of taking care of whatever Y/N needs.”
“Then, we’ll be talking more about this later. When your pack is present and when my girlfriend is present. I’ll talk to Y/N if he’s interested.. And if he’s not..”
Jihoon was quick to move, grabbing Namjoon by his collar even if she was a few inches shorter, the two of them so close together. She made sure to push out more of her scent and to bare her teeth at him. Jihoon was going to show him who had the authority over you between the two of them. Jihoon was also smart enough to make sure the two of you were far enough away so they couldn’t smell the bitterness of her scent currently.
“You better fucking stay away, Namjoon.” Jihoon growled, before dropping his collar and walking away, back to their spot previously behind the two of you. “Good luck, dear pack alpha.” Jihoon mouthed at Namjoon before turning back to you guys and smiling at your interaction with Hobi. Jihoon could see the way you looked at Hobi, the same sparkle in your eye like when you had a boyfriend. Jihoon swore on her life that she will protect you no matter what and no matter what it takes.
“Well, I didn’t know it was already 7 in the afternoon.” You said while glaring at Jihoon, her chuckling nervously in return. “How the hell did we even stay here for 9 hours?!”
Hobi laughed while Namjoon just sighed. “Hobi and I can take you guys home with all the stuff you brought” He offered.
“Are you sure? I live kind of far from the mall.” You said dejectedly, truly you were grateful for the offer, but you were scared to burden the two alphas when you were sure you and Jihoon could find another way home. The alphas were quick to comfort you and pat you on the head, saying that it was more than alright for them to take the both of you home. Little did you know, they had started to smell the rain on your scent which in turn made them worried so they were quick to comfort you.
You watched as the two alphas haul all the stuff into the truck on Hobi’s car, which was a black Porsche Panamera GTS that has Jihoon absolutely awestruck while you were just making silly faces on your reflection that was on the car. The two alphas have succeeded in hauling all the stuff into the trunk, Namjoon’s strength helping well.
“I’m calling shotgun!” Jihoon said with a grin, before looking at Namjoon with an unreadable expression. It was as if Jihoon was testing him, but you didn’t read too much into the situation. Opting to just get into the car and wait for the rest to also go in.
The car ride was fairly quiet, Jihoon and Hobi occasionally making jokes and talking about how each of them have been, and Jihoon telling Hobi what your address is. You occasionally heard a mention of a ‘Jungkook’ or a ‘Yoongi’ but you were sure it was probably just a coincidence. A lot of people possibly had that name anyway. You decided to just admire the outside, seeing either dozens of trees or dozens of buildings.
The 4 of you had finally arrived at your apartment. The werewolf and fox quick to get out and bring all the stuff into the lobby and get ready to get on the elevator, you and Jihoon trying to help but the other two were adamant about letting the ladies do minimal work. Now you were in your apartment, organizing all the stuff while Jihoon kept Hobi and Namjoon entertained. You couldn’t hear what they were talking about, but with Jihoon’s chatty nature, you were sure she kept the two of them busy. Just as you finished putting the last piece of equipment into one of your cabinets, you rushed into the living room.
“I apologize if my apartment is a bit small and messy, I didn’t have time to clean it” You smiled apologetically at Hobi and Namjoon. “Jihoon also made a big mess.” Which was followed by a chorus of complaints from the ocelot and laughs from the fox and wolf.
“Don’t worry about it bun, Hobi and I are about to leave anyway.” Namjoon said dejectedly, wanting to stay a bit more in your apartment. Hobi looked just the same as his pack member. “Namjoon needs to continue doing his nerdy things and I need to rehearse for a dance competition.”
Your ears had perked up when you heard the word dance from Hobi’s mouth. He did look lean but flexible like a dancer. “Since the both of you are leaving, I’ll give you two my number so we can talk more and maybe hangout next time?” You smiled, hoping they’d accept and that the three of you would grow closer. Namjoon looked at Jihoon with a questioning glance, Jihoon responding with a nod. The two of them jumped up from the couch to copy your number and save it, after that they bid goodbye and left your apartment.
“They were really nice..” You whispered with a big grin, quick to drop onto the couch and giggle like a highschool girl with a crush.
“You like them?” Jihoon asked, looking up at her with a thinking face. You nodded.
“I don’t know if they like me though, or even if their pack would want me in.”
“Oh trust me ‘mega, they do like you.” She smiled while patting your head, careful not to brush your ears on accident. “They’re a 7 member pack, with only alphas.”
You looked at Jihoon, shocked, and confused on why it sounded somewhat familiar.
“Their pack is interested in courting you ‘mega… I trust Namjoon and Hobi enough to let them court you, but Yuna and I need to talk to their pack first. Is that alright?” Jihoon said softly, you looked up at her with the happiest grin and eyes that held a big sparkle.
You jumped up from your position and tackled Jihoon from her spot on the couch, hugging her and squealing about how thankful you were. Then you started getting emotional, tears prickling and about to burst while your lips were shaking.
“Do you think.. Do you think they’ll be better than him? Do you think I’ll finally try love again?” You whispered while hugging Jihoon tight. You could feel her rubbing your back and comforting you to the best of her abilities.
“I know they’ll be better than him ‘mega, he never deserved you.. He was nothing but garbage and you were just too deep in it.” Jihoon comforted you, one hand rubbing your back and the other scratching behind your ear.
“Would you like me to get Yuna to come here and we’ll have a big cuddling sesh while watching netflix?”
“Yes please..”
Right now, you were walking home in the rain from your classes. There were only three classes that lasted around an hour and 10 minutes. You had your headset on, playing some piano instrumentals. Your left hand was holding the umbrella while the right was hugging your shoulder tote close. The rain wasn’t too hard but it was safer to not drive in the weather. The path you were taking was a path that not a lot of people took, not that it was those sketchy alleys, but it was more because it was a residential area that was mostly full of old people.
As you walked, you noticed a man crouched and hunched over a box, he had an umbrella covering him and the box and he was seemingly trying to grab what was inside. That was until you heard it, you heard the whimpers of a bunny. The moment you heard it, you immediately sped-walk to the same box the man was huddled over, in fear and worry of what was wrong with the bunny.
The man saw you and was worried about what you were about to do, but when he got a glimpse of your rabbit ears, he knew it was better to let you do what you wanted.
“Oh god, is the bunny alright?”
“I’m not sure, I just saw it out here while walking to the convenience store.”
You started to feel the worry bubble up inside you and you didn’t notice you started lightly thumping your foot. The man looked at you and you looked back. He had plushy lips and slightly chubby cheeks. You could see his leopard ears and his tail curled up underneath him, seemingly trying to avoid the rain. His dark brown and curly hair were a pretty contrast to his brightly colored ears. You then got hit by his scent, it was a smell of toasty wood, indicating he is an alpha.
“I feel like it’d be better if you were the one to take the poor thing home, I don’t think it would like being surrounded by me and my pack. Plus, you are also a rabbit.”
You nodded in response, putting your umbrella in between your armpit and grabbing the box and hugging it to your chest. It had a singular bunny, it was a black bunny that reminded you of your nieces and nephews. The leopard introduced himself as Jin and asked for your number, so he could ask for updates on the bunny and help take care of it.
“It was nice meeting you Jin and I hope you make it home safely.”
You dictated your number before giving him a thankful smile and walking away, making sure to be cautious with the rabbit.
After 10 minutes of walking home with the bunny, you arrived home and rushed to get inside your house. Texting Jihoon about the situation and deciding it’d be better if the bunny stayed at theirs instead of your home. Your home was too much of a mess from the wild baking you and Jihoon had been doing from last night while Yuna was watching. Jihoon was quick to arrive at your house, pick up the bunny and give you a nod of good luck. You knew she had a soft spot for bunnies and rabbits alike because her mate and her best friend were both one.
As you sighed and leaned back into the couch, you could feel yourself growing more weak and weak, and it felt like you couldn’t function properly. You tried to get up to get a glass of water, until your vision started to develop black spots and you just dropped.

In the news industry, journalists know: what makes big clicks is news of animal attacks. Fire ants. Sharks. Pizza Hut pepperoni displacers. Everyone loves a good story about getting all fucked up by Mother Nature, so much so that they’ll ignore the more likely threats to their lives in order to focus on the dramatic threat of beasts.
And what are those “more likely threats,” you ask? Car crashes. Heart disease. Food poisoning. Any one of these is more likely to fell you than an attack by a gang of feral coyotes, but you’re not gonna click on a video about jogging regularly and eating heart-healthy. And we certainly don't want to be lectured to by the news: you can give advice about how not to be ripped to shreds by macaques, but it never comes off as preachy as telling folks to stop lighting off fireworks indoors.
I think what we're looking for, as human beings, is that unknowable nemesis. Even when we're afraid of other people, we imagine them to be unreasonable monsters who simply want to ravage our bodies and property in order to buy more drugs.
Again, this too is significantly less likely than you falling off the next ladder you see. We can blame enemy action much more easily than "shit happens," especially when that shit is our own fault. Advertisers might take umbrage to paying to tell their prospective customers to make better life choices, too. This lady got attacked by a fucking ocelot in her driveway! It didn't matter that she was bad at shoulder checking!
If there's one lesson to take away from this, it's that if you want your message to get out to the people, you have to write it on people hiking in the mountains. When the bears get them, the news will be sure to tell everyone what they had written on their arms in Sharpie.

My first post and it's cringy Minecraft: Story Mode headcanons. Give a round of applause for me, folks.
The Ocelots (Minecraft: Story Mode) headcanons.
A lot of these are pre-witherstorm !!
{Lukas}
• Autistic.
• Loves big blankets. Quilts, comforters, etc. If it's not puffy, he doesn't want it.
• Feeds stray animals. He buys extra cat/dog food and saves table scraps to give them.
• He hangs out with Jesse sometimes but he mostly sticks with the ocelots.
• Very extreme speed-walker. He's walks super fast 24/7 for no reason.
• Buys random little contraptions. Like those water toys where you flip it upside down and the droplets slide down the platforms.
• Him and Ivor gossip.
• Loves when people show interest in what he's talking about. He'll sit and explain something for hours upon hours to someone if they ask him too.
• He hand-made the matching jackets.
{Aiden}
• Dyslexic.
• He snores a lot. The volume varies, but he's usually a little hard to sleep next to.
• Perfers black cats over ocelots but will never tell Lukas.
• Acts like he's the coolest person ever but he's actually pretty lame. (affectionate)
• He has like 20 middle names, so it takes him like a solid 5 minutes to write down his full legal name.
• He had a fairly bad childhood and makes jokes about it all the time.
• Despite them being extremely deadly, Aiden unironically loves hostile mobs. He tries to pet spiders all the time, makes attempts to give zombies fists bumps when they have their arms out, hands blocks to enderman, dodges the arrows when he gets shot at by skeletons and pretends their "playing," ect.
• Got very heavily bullied as a kid and he projected that onto Jesse, Axel, and Olivia.
• Has a pet turtle
{Maya}
• Colorblind. (blue and green specifically)
•Absolutely obsessed with horror movies that it's almost concerning.
• She genuinely hates mint so so much. Doesn't matter if it's smell or taste, she is a full-fledged hater of mint.
• She has the opening skills of 3 month old. She can't open baby gates, she can't open child locks, she can't open jars or bottles,,,,,, actually nothing.
• She's a jerk to basically everyone, not just Jesse, Olivia, and Axel. She cools it down a bit when she's with The Ocelots, but they're still a target for insults. They love her, though.
• She pulls all-nighters 24/7. She literally never gets tired but she has massive fucking eyebags.
• She hates all of Jesse's friends but she loves Reuben. She'll never admit it, though.
• Both reread and rewatched Matilda all the time when she was younger. She still does sometimes for nostalgia purposes.
{Gill}
• Has Adhd.
• Very stupid. (affectionate)
• He has a little sister and he used to get in trouble all the time for purposely teaching her curse words.
• His birthday is the same day as Endercon, which is both a blessing and a curse because he gets to celebrate his birthday at Endercon every year, but the witherstorm was also created on his birthday, so he basically got traumatized for life on his birthday.
• He could honestly care less about Jesse, he just makes fun of him because Aiden and Maya do and he picked it up from them.
• Very good listener. Someone could ramble to him for hours and he'd listen and show interest the whole time.
• Collects Beanie Babies.
• He needs noise to sleep. A fan, the TV, anything.
• He's an extremely slow walker and is always struggling to catch up to people.
{More than one}
• Aiden and Maya have a sister/brother relationship despite not being related in the slightest.
• Gill gets worms off the ground after it rains and gives them to Aiden for his turtle.
• Maya tries to make Gill pull all-nighters with her sometimes but he always falls asleep at like 11pm.
• Maya made fun of Aiden for how many middle names he has once and he pushed her off a bridge. Never again did she make fun of his name.
• Gill and Aiden stay over at Lukas’s house all the time to make pillow forts and binge watch cartoons. Maya refuses to participate because she thinks pillow forts and cartoons are cringy and childish. (shame on you, Maya)
I will take absolutely no Maya, Gill, or Aiden hate. They are all my children, my cutie patooties.

no one asked! but i’m having a bad day and wax seal stamps always make me feel better. so here’s my beginner’s guide to wax seal stamping.
i’ll start by saying that if you are an absolute beginner, i do highly recommend buying a kit on amazon. this is the one i bought when i got started, and it’s served me well. the kits come with a stamp, a variety of decent quality wax, melting stoves/furnaces, the tea lights that go in them, some cheap stationery, and usually some metallic pens and maybe some glitter or ribbons for decorating. if you’ve got the wax seal fever though, the kits are pretty limited with the actual stamp situation. so when you’re ready to branch out and try additional things, here’s my breakdown of where to do it and how to use what you might encounter.
wax seal stamps: these are the metal (usually brass) devices used to make an impression in the melted wax. they’re the best part of the process, and come in countless patterns, images, symbols, etc. the higher the quality stamp, the cleaner the imprint in the wax.
stamps can cost anywhere from a few u.s. dollars to $50 or more. most quality stamps will run around $20-$35. some of my favorite places to buy (in order of lowest prices to highest) are:
craspire
misterrobinson
back to zero
artisaire
stoves and spoons: these are basic tools you can purchase anywhere. the ones on amazon are exactly the same as the ones you’ll find at fancier stamp studios and boutiques. you may find some variety in type of stove, but i’ve honestly had the best luck with the stove you’d find in any starter kit.
you’ll also find varietiy in spoons, though i’ve never really found a difference in quality. any differences you want in a spoon come down to size, in my experience.
sealing wax: okay! the best part of the experience after the stamps themselves. when buying wax online, depending on where you’re purchasing from, there is a higher risk of getting a less quality product. the biggest issues with cheap wax are a) the smell (can be strong and unpleasant) and b) the texture (may melt poorly, stain or stick to the spoon).
wax can be purchased on different forms and for different purposes. flexible wax is best for sealing letters and surviving the post office. older, more traditional waxes are inflexible, sticky, and break easily. they work better for hand delivering letters/documents. further, wax can be purchased in bead form (usually hexagonal in shape) or in stick form, designed for low-heat glue guns.
i recommend buying wax from all the places listed for stamps, minus craspire. i only hesitate to list them because i haven’t bought and tested their wax before, so i can’t speak to the quality. i also recommend wax from:
letter seals
sea and paper
accessories: these are the fun extra things you can use to prettify your seals, and the additional tools you might find useful. this includes silicone work pads, stirring tools, tweezers, more decorative handles, glitter, metallic inks, dried flowers, etc. the best place to get accessories in my opinion are:

For fun, Iam going to explain why I like Izzy hands. Not that it will convince anyone that I only stan him do subconscious racism/sexism/homophobia.
Aesthetics. Shallow, but this isn't a philosophy dissertation. It's a matter of person preference. I love that he's got the vest and princess sleeves in all black. Being good with a sword is cool. Also, he is hot. That voice. He's also small! Love a small dangerous guy.
Moral greyness. I will almost always be interested in morally grey characters, especially darker ones.
In denial about vulnerability and feelings. There's something extra touching to me about a character putting on a tough facade. It makes me want them to be safe and be able to express their feelings.
Cynical and practical. I am like this myself and will always sympathize with characters trying to tell idealistic protagonists that they are being stupid, actually. All through ep 4 I was sympathetic to poor Izzy who just wanted orders from his boss to not die.
Responsible, orderly, reliable, honorable. Izzy is someone who takes his responsibilities seriously. Love that, especially as a disorganized disaster.
Lonely. He has no friends? He's so socially awkward? Poor baby! Sure he's mean, but I find it so sad that he doesn't know how to relate to people.
A masochist submissive. Love that for him.
Tragically in love and loyal. I am always weak for this. The pining!
And if you don't buy any of this, if you look at my past favorite characters, the trend become obvious.
Recently, I was extremely fond of Silko from Arcane. A small villain with sympathetic qualities with a great voice, dark aesthetic, and cool facade that hides his emotions.
Then there's Revolver Ocelot. He's a sharply dressed cowboy wannabe with a deep voice and incredible skill in using his revolvers. He's a villain, torturer, and sadist. It turns out a ton of the plot was actually just his ludicrously complicated plan to fulfill the dream of another (male) series villain he was loyal to and in love with. He's lighting is murder husband's cigar up there.
Tell me, do you think someone with a history of a loving pining gay loyal sadist villain Revolver Ocelot needs racism to fall for a character like Izzy Hands?
And I doubt that I'm the only enjoyer that has a list of favorite characters that share traits with Izzy. I saw a piece of fan art with both Izzy and Jean Vicquemare together, another gravelly voiced, prickly side character. Another of my favorite characters, btw.
If you aren't drawn to this particular character type? Absolutely fine. You do you. But don't assume people who like Izzy and sympathize with him are...racists or some shit.

I joke a *lot* with MGS as one does. But man. Thinking about the truth tapes in my head while going through the opening hospital escape really puts even more emphasis on how truly fcked it is.
Ocelot: *Truth Tapes*: Not just him. We'll be putting this hospital in the line of fire. A necessary diversion that'll buy us some time.
XOF does a full execution and destruction through Dhekelia, with the full knowledge of BB and his team. All for one man..all too keep BB alive. In addition to everything else ever done for that goal too.
My constant joking aside, I really do love these games a lot, and remember pretty consistently that they are dark, and how truly fcked it's main characters are morally.

Hi my name is Elijah Liquid Snake White Mamba Plissken and I have long bleached blonde hair (that’s how I got one of my names) with dirty blonde roots and flipped out ends that reach my shoulders and icy blue eyes like limpid tears and a lot of people tell me I look like Kurt Cobain(AN: if u don’t know who she is get da hell out of here!). I’m not related to Kurt Russell but I wish I was because he’s a major fucking hottie. I’m a clone but my genes are normal and superior. I have tan and orange skin. I’m also a Sleeper Agent, and I went to a magic school called MI5 in England where I graduated at the youngest age ever (I’m thirty-three). I’m a bad bitch (in case you couldn’t tell) and I wear mostly brown. I love army surplus and I buy all my clothes from there. For example today I was wearing a green pants with a matching belt with pouches on it, black gloves and the matching vietnam era jungle boots. I was wearing pink lipgloss, too orange foundation, black eyeliner and shimmery blue eye shadow. I was walking outside Shadow Moses. It was snowing and hailing so there was no sun, which I was very happy about. A lot of clone brothers stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them.
"Hey Liquid!” shouted a voice. I looked up. It was…. Psycho Mantis!
“What’s up Mantis?” I asked.
“Nothing.” he said shyly.
But then, I heard Ocelot call me and I had to go away.

10: How open is your oc to trying new things? Are they the adventurous sort, or would they rather stay in their comfort zone? Why?
- She's more the adventurous sort! She loves the thrill of trying new things and doubly so when it works out well. That being said, she has a few things going against her the majority of the time, so she prefers to have a friend around who can help if things start to go sour.
12: Does your oc have any best friends? Who was/is their closest friend? What about their worst enemy?
- I haven't quite thought about her best friends, admittedly, but I think she has a few! There are a few at camp who she's in frequent contact with, and a few who are further abroad who she can only contact on occasion. Her closest friend used to be her older brother, but these days it's her partner, Nathan. He travelled with her for quite a while before settling at Lost Lake (and thus made it her home, as well) so she knows him better than anyone else. He's trustworthy, makes her laugh easily, and won't judge her for her failures.
I think that her worst enemy (of those she isn't running/hiding from) would be Carlos! She considers the past to be fundamental to the future, and holds those that she's loved and lost very dear to her heart, so for someone to be insistent that the erasure of these things is paradise? To then also torture people to the point of becoming a ripper for surviving's sake, and leave those who resist as bodies left to rot, is inexplicably horrific to her.
25: How does your oc handle being sick? Do they pretend not to be? Do they complain a lot? How susceptible to being sick are they?
- She gets sick fairly often! Who knew stress would take a physical toll on the body agdsgs. She tries to tough it out until it either goes away or until its so obvious that no one's buying it anymore. More often than she'd care to admit, it ends up warranting bed rest, or at least operating at limited capacity, such as staying at whichever camp she's found herself in and working locally instead of being out and about.
31: What is your oc's sense of humor like? What do they find funny? Do they try to be funny? Are they, actually?
- Uhh, it's an interesting one! It varies depending on what kind of work she's been taking on lately, but it's generally very dry. She can be very morbid at times, but I think she laughs just as easily at people joking around by her, making inappropriate jokes or being clowns for the sake of it. She does try to be funny, and she is! But not because she tries to be. I think she's at her most humorous when she feels like a kid :)
38: How energetic is your oc? Do they have trouble sitting still or do they feel low on juice all the time? Why?
- She is uh. low-spoon city. She has to work with a lot of folk who take a lot of energy from her, on top of braving the broken road and doing pretty heavy lifting very frequently, so any energy she has at the start of the day is p much always gone by the end of it. I think that she'd try to make note of when things get particularly tiring, though, and take some measures to like. Come back to herself? During these times, she tries to give herself a day free from obligations and do things that just. Make her happy, like sailing her bike down a downhill road and enjoying that distilled freedom, or retiring to one of her saferooms and spending the day whittling bone and wood.

IT'S NOT THAT OCELOT IS SHY, TRULY. even in the hustle and bustle of a bar, filled with people and occasionally even creatures he's unfamiliar with, it's easy to peep somebody's interest when they approach. body language doesn't differ too terribly much, so it's not a surprise that the man leaning over the counter next to him speaks up, though ocelot snorts into his glass at his actual words, a chuckle very much meant to offend.

wrote out a very long post comparing the kaz snake father son dynamic and the ocelot liquid father son dynamic & explaining the basis of each but what i had to say essentially boils down to i think its fun that ocelot and liquid have a slightly antagonistic relationship towards each other and a loose timeline that lets you play with them and make silly posts that cant be disproven, while kaz and snake have a very set in stone timeline and dynamic that allows for much deeper emotional analysis of each of them and especially how it affected snake. you get to have your cake and eat it too because for each post i make thats like “ocelot voice my son who i hate so much has forced me at gunpoint to buy him britney tickets” i also have another fully thought out post about how kaz justified his manipulation of snake & how that inadvertently led to the way snake interacts with his loved ones later in life. i just dont post the second one because if i post too much serious analysis of metal gear solid people will start thinking i know what i’m talking about

Metal gear mania day: 12
Some spoilers are below
Man this game is sad mgs2 ended on a rather hopeful note and it bums me out that in the seven years between those events and the ones of this game things have gotten worse and snake seems to have lost that sort of determined optimism that I really loved from mgs 2 it makes sense in character and is intentional because the game wants you to be sad and it works on top of all that he’s old now and I hate seeing old people sad/ in peril so it’s just a bummer game from a story point and the reveal that snake has basically 3 weeks left to live and his reaction was heart breaking he’s clearly trying not to confront it but the scene with Naomi forces him to. Moving in to the more fun side raidens back!!! Yay!!! I will say I knew he became a ninja because I was on YouTube in 2008 but seeing him do all this cool and goofy shit like hits way better now that I actually know what his deal is and what he’s been through love this guy he got fucked up though. I mentioned back when I was playing mgs 2 that camp did increasingly funnier shit every time he was on screen and that mother fucker didn’t miss a beat his first response after being shot in the head was to not only make sure he caught his Motorola razor but do so as over dramatically as possible and then switch to an even more dramatic pose to die for a bit and he steps it up even more in his fight with raiden.
Also I don’t buy the nano machines explanation for vamp not after fortune got told by ocelot (a guy who has worked with a man who can summon bees an old man who photosynthesis a psychic who can mind control people read minds and attack you with paintings of game developers and lady who could teleport) that there’s no magic or powers on earth only science and then proceeded to use her magic powers to deflect his missiles
Drebin is so cool I love his car his handkerchief and stupid pet monkey by the way if anyone wants to explain what the flashback when Naomi and snake are holding the monkey was about feel free also sunny is great and otacon is so dope I love to see him so confident and determined to right his and hisfamily’s and wrong also the way he says darpa when snake asks him how laughing octopus has octo camp was funny
Speaking of laughing octopus she’s a fun design and cool boss fight I actually really like all the B&B designs at least there armored designs and the frogs as well. Laughing octopus was a nice bossfught nothing ground breaking but still pretty clever feels like the decoy octopus fight we never got idk if I got the face camp system for the KO or just her face as one of the options but I like face camo the mask looks so cool that I kinda wanna always keep that on we’ll see anyway I gotta go do the Europe level see ya
