How to be normal about Nace Jordan, a guide by @da-proti-toku-grem:

1. Get home from uni and open tumblr after not checking your phone for almost 5 hours.

2. Open tumblr and immediately gets attacked by this pic.

3. Bite your arm to hold back a scream so your family doesn't think you have completely lost your mind.

4. Stare at the pic for the next 30 minutes with your mouth wide open, blushing aggressively and with your heart beating like crazy.

5. Try to calm down and look away from your phone screen.

6. Turn off your phone screen to force yourself to stop staring.

7. Realize that you have been looking at the pic for so long that you have completely forgotten to like and reblog it and you don't know who posted it.

8. Freak out and rush back to tumblr to search for the pic once again and trying (and failing) to reblog it before getting distracted once again.

9. Realize that it's an impossible mission and you will never be able to be normal about Nace Jordan.

10. Embrace the chaos.

Nah, man. Reminding your gurlfriend of a very traumatic moment in their life is just Tangle being lol so quickly and random, and not tone deaf.

Yep, oh you silly Tangle! Dangling the name of her old team that was slaughtered in front of her eyes, shouting it in a loud excited manner with all the care of a bull in a china's shop - that's so kawaii desu ne <3

Tangle didn't try to explain herself. She didn't apologize when she saw Whisper being visibly angry. She didn't stop Lanolin and Sonic from using that name even though it was very obvious that that was the reason Whisper got mad - I get that she's an idiot, but she literally saw the reaction happen, even she's capable of that basic cause-consequence association.

If I were a Whispangle shipper, I would have dropped it after this issue alone. I dropped Sonamy after that scene in Generations where Sonic pushes Amy's face away, and this is so much worse.

And just, generally, #57 is a noticeable drop in character writing - I'm used to Sonic being a total prick (and also taking cues from Prime in being an ADHD disaster or something), but Tangle was an insensitive moron and Lanolin was so annoying with her "oh woe is me to be the only intelligent one here" attitude that contrasts the snippets of her previous personality. Whisper was a little passive-aggressive but you know what? I don't blame her, Tangle should have been able to understand her mistake and should have apologized. But nooooo we're surely going to protract the Drama until #60 at least, because this is what counts as shipbaiting now :V
