How many kids do you think Elucien end up having? (Yes, this is me shamelessly trying to see if Cricket and Froggy will have more siblings and the areyoudreamingof-verse of cute next gen kids will be expanding)

I always saw them having kids in pairs. The girls come first, then they have a second set later on. I have the little notion of one of their children being a boy they nickname Robin (for the bird) I think 4 kids.

Nyx is an only child for a while, but Feysand have a girl when he’s in his later teens.

Nessian have kids later on, and I think they have the most children, and all girls. I do have a scene where a teenage Nyx, Cricket, and preteen Froggy meet their new cousin.

I have a lot of next gen ideas and two fics as WIP’s.

But for real, I’m so happy people like my next gen kids. 😭

“Nineteen and sweet.” that’s daddy’s voice coming through the phone from a distance and Jesse starts to stiffen. “Does this Donna happen to be pretty, too, son?”

Jesse is back to grinding his teeth and it sends a spark of pain up his temple.

“Elvis!” His mama is honest-to-god tittering on the other end and it’s been such a while since Jesse heard that sound he suddenly feels like forgiving his daddy a few things just for that. Just for bringing that back. It makes his eyes sting.

“What?!” Donna asks him as Jesse keeps gazing at her with those big blue eyes and droopy pink lips as she turns the key and fidgets with the windows to get some air flow, “Am I gonna have to buckle you in?” she teases at the way he’s just melted into the seat, head leaned against the headrest and long limbs folded where they first flopped.

“Mmmaaybeee.” Jesse drags it out and giggles again .

Vax'ildeux chose his name. You will pry this headcanon from my cold dead hands, Vax'ildeux is trans and he chose his uncle's name on PURPOSE - but he didn't do it recklessly.

He spoke to his mum, obviously, and to his dad, and he had a long sit down conversation with Auntie Keyleth.

There were a lot of tears.

But at the end of it, he had the blessing of all three to go ahead with it. He was always going to be who he knows himself to be, but being able to have the name - that means a lot. It's a weighty name, and it's not one his parents would ever have chosen for him, but the ravens are familiar in Whitestone and he and his siblings get visited with them whenever it's difficult, and the ravens had been persistent when he'd been figuring out himself and what name to take.

He got the feeling his Uncle Vax wanted him to take on the name.

After all, they've got a lot of lost family to honour. He's going to do his damndest to live up to that.

i love both the cute and hilarious idea of poor vax'ildeux being in the "dead heroes names club" with wilhand'ildan and the absolutely heartbreaking but heartwarming idea of him choosing this name. because i can see vex being so worried about how vax will be remembered - the hero of exandria, the champion of the raven queen, and unfamiliar and impassive mask in temples the world over - and then her child comes up and asks to take his name as a sign of honor, of choice. and she knows that the kids know the vax she wanted to be remembered, both because of how she talks about him, and because of the stupid ravens that are just as annoying as he ever was. and some of that burden lifts from her shoulders

and she knows vax would have crowed (ha) about it endlessly, so fucking proud and supportive of his nephew, which makes vex even MORE emotional about the ordeal

I’m trying to rework Marian’s avoidance to romance, especially when it comes to the working relationship turned “oh no, we both fell into feelings without realizing it” thing she has with Tristan.

Originally, she had a partner who was killed on a mission, and she carries this guilt that she was the one who caused his death (she wasn’t.) She closes herself off to feeling vulnerable ever again and is so angry that Tristan’s chipping away at her defenses without even trying.

I think now she still goes Ice Queen on everyone because there was a potential match where she genuinely felt love for but then realized she was being used in a play to either a) get in good business ties to her father’s successful brewery, b) capitalize on her parents’ fame to attempt to elevate their own, or c) both. She cuts all ties immediately but is heartbroken in the process. Rolfe just comes up to wherever she’s hidden herself to cry and hands her a handkerchief with:

“You want me to kill him? Because that’s what I do, you know. No one would ever find his body, I’m that good.”

“Thanks, Dad, but I’m okay.”

“Okay, but the offer is good whenever. Anything for you.”

Cue a few months or years later and there’s a chance encounter between a random Jenny (Marian) and the fabled Dark Wolf (Tristan) after the same target but with very different goals. After almost killing the other, they team up accomplish their respective missions, agree to a one night stand to vent some post-heist adrenaline, and go their separate ways. UNTIL.

The son of the Teyrn of Gwaren rolls up to meet with a former Inquisitor (or high ranking Inner Circle agent, I haven’t made up my mind on the details yet) under the cover of making a business deal for trade but is secretly being sent to help with this whole next generation threat brewing in Thedas. Both of them are very much “hello, nice to meet you for the very first time, yes we are complete strangers, how do you do” while Alex is doing the little brother mental math and screaming internally when the lightbulb lights up.
