You write a lot about the EraserMic fam so I was wondering, have you ever considered a scenario where the reader tries to leave and Eri gets upset and "accidentally" rewinds them so they can't?
YANDERE ERI X READER X YANDERE ERASERMIC FAMILY
Tumblr media
“H-hey eri. I have something to tell you.” You whispered to the girl sitting next to you on the floor, in between the two of you was a set of letter blocks, your fathers had been cooped up in the office working all day, with shinso trying to keep watch of the two of you, he’d fallen asleep quite some time ago though. This was your chance, you felt bad for leaving eri though, she was sweet, and you doubted she’d ever had a bad thought about you. You could say she was like your best friend.
“…what?” The Grey haired girl questioned, pausing for a moment to think about what you could possibly be so scared about.
“I’m gonna go outside. For a long time, we might not see eachother again okay? I just wanted to tell you before I went.”
“You can’t go outside alone! You have to take papa with you. Let’s go grab him! I’m bored in here!” She squealed, getting up on her feet and running towards the door, she was just so bubbly, she’s the kind of girl your parents want you to be, how ironic. Immediately as she started being loud you also stood up, and in attempts to keep her quiet, hugged her close, pushing her head into your chest. Maybe it was a little bit for your own enjoyment, to feel one last hug from the small girl you’d actually grown to love. The huh did it’s job, and her voice muted, instead of struggling and whining like you would do if one of them hugged you, she leaned in and wrapped her arms right back around you. Sweet.
“I know it’s against the rules eri- but I want to. Can you keep a secret for me? Just this once?” You spoke, kissing her on her forehead, then getting up and walking to the door. She nodded along, too innocent to understand what you were actually doing, it’s not like yoh would trick her right? Even though her papas told her to keep watch over you, and to never let you out of the house, you just looked so sweet! How could she deny her bestfriend? You stole glances at shinso, who had now begun to stir in his sleep. Had had to go, or he would wake up and ruin it all. Shinso was lenient with you, but he wouldn’t let you escape.
“Okay okay okay! Just don’t be outside for too long or daddy’s gonna be upset!” She whispered, and hugged your legs one last time. She was a naturally observant little girl, so while she hugged you she felt around your pants. Only to realize, you weren’t wearing your usual outfit of frills and skirts, yoh were wearing jeans and a black tshirt, you had a bag slung over your shoulder, a water bottle, and something sharp in your pocket. Why were you acting so funny? It’s not like your leaving forever, just taking a small trip outside for a few moments.
Wait.
Why do you need a pack just to play in the backyard? And why are you wearing such dark clothing? And why were you wearing your walking shoes? You never wear those. You just want to go to the backward to play in the trees, no preparation is required there. She calculated this in her mind, befuddled by her baby sisters odd behavior. Then you started moving towards the front door, and she realized. You were trying to run, again.
Although eri wasnt present in your first weeks at home (Aizawa and mic found it best that you didn’t get overwhelmed too quickly), shinso had told her about how you had tried to leave them more than a few times. How you’d tried to leave them all alone without their baby. Her papas had warned her that if you ever tried this again then she had to get one of them. But she couldn’t, she’s seen how mad papa and daddy get whenever you try to be bigger than you are, she doesn’t want you to get in big trouble, as a big sister it’s her job to help. So she’ll just get you back inside! You can’t leave her, you can’t leave this family. You need them. You won’t last without them.
“Wait! You can’t go out in the front! It’s not allowed, just come back in and we can watch Steven universe! Or play blocks! Don’t leave yet!” The girl begged now, relying on the guilt factor she inevitably gave to you, her doe eyes filled with underlying intent.
“I have to go, you said you would keep my secret! So hush, let me leave, I’ll be okay.” You yanked at your sleeve, pulling it back, the girl furrowed her brows and pouted, now actually realizing that you wanted to leave for good.
“B-but- I can’t keep a secret if you’re gonna just leave me! Sissy I love you. Just come back in- I-I’ll go get your real clothes and we can go ask papa for some hot chocolate- wait! Don’t go!” She yelled after you as you ascended the steps as fast as you could. You didn’t think that eri was like the others, like your brother or fathers. But you saw that look in her eyes when she touched you just now, it was the same look that those two men who claimed to be your heros gave whenever you told them you just wanted to go home. Eri is part of this family, you forgot that. At her yelling, you heard footsteps in the house, by the way they dragged sleepily, they were shinsos, fuck, you gotta go. Now. But the little girl had wrapped around your torso, latching he hand onto your arm.
“I don’t want hot chocolate right now eri- just let me go-“ you stammered out, now realizing you shouldn’t have told her anything in the first place. You shook your Arm, but the girl just wouldn’t unlatch from you. Her expression had gone from sweet and innocent, to feral, now she wasn’t donning any innocent act. She wanted you to stay and she would make you stay. You didn’t realize how hot Erie hands felt up until her touch started burning you, you could do nothing but wince and try to pull yourself further outside as her touch became like magma. You were sweating profusely now, what could this big sister of yours really do? You hadn’t even noticed the little horn on her head beginning to grow.
“I SAID STOP” she screamed, and in that moment, the touch of her hands flooded you with white-hot, agonizing pain. The hands that you had just a few moments ago had been ambracung, burned your skin until it began blistering. You screamed in agony, falling to your knees in sheer and unadulterated pain. Eri tried to pull away from you, but she couldn’t, it was like she was fused to you with the light emitting from your body. It took you a few seconds to get past the pain, and start feeling the odd sensation in your body. It felt like your bones were constructing and moving, like your head was all of a sudden overwhelmed.
Then- like Magic. All the pain stopped, but your head was so fuzzy, like someone had injected you with a sleepy medicine. The constricting in your body halted, leaving you with a strange sensation. Something was off, you didn’t feel all that different, but something about this just felt… wrong. Then you looked up at eri. Keyword: looked up. she was huge! Like a giant! We’re you having a fever dream? Because last time you checked, eri barely went up to your waist, now she towered over you.
“Uh- y/n I- what” she spluttered out, now ripping her hands away from you, what had she done? You didn’t look like y/n anymore, you were just so tiny, plumper, and just, youthful. how has she- what did she- oh my god- somehow she’d shrunken you, or in other terms, shaved 14 or fifteen years off of your life, you looked like nothing more than an actual baby now. Had hands shook as she stared at the smaller child, how would she explain this to her papas?
“E-eri. I feel funny, w-what did you do” you tried to speak, but it came out in quiet mumbles, no matter how hard or loud you tried to speak. Her eyes widened when she realized you were trying to speak to her, and she rushed back over to you, noting how droopy your eyelids looked, how much you were swaying from left to right as of yoh were about to fall. It only took a few seconds for the black spots in your vision to crowd close to your face, blocking off almost everything.
“I-I’m sorry- my quirk it just- I couldn’t stop it y/n- are yoh okay? Do you feel sick? Does your tummy hurt? Y/n?”
Your stomach felt like it’d done a flip and then kicked itself, and your head, oh his your head felt like it was going to explode. It was taking all of your strength not to fall into Eros arms and tumble into dreamland, yoh couslnt. You were this close to freedom, you couldn’t just give up now right? But your legs wouldn’t move, they felt too short, too sore, and in a few moments, you were passed out, fallen on the floor in front of eri while she internally tried to find something to do.
And so, she did what any other girl would do in this scenario, the one thing that she could always rely on
“DADDY! Y/N’ S HURT!” And with that a rush of footsteps could be heard in the hallway, and the two adults showed up in the doorway, shocked by the scene in front. Eri, sniffling and sobbing, meanwhile holding a little baby, who was harder to recognize, but they could see it was you. How? The large horn protruding from Eric’s head gave enough explanation to know what had happened, immediately the two men went into action, pulling you out of Sri’s arms. Mic went onto soothe the crewing eri, telling her that it’s alrightc that she wasn’t in trouble.
Shinso ran out of the house with some water and a blanket, just trying to assess the situation. This was bad. Not because you got smaller, but because you were going to be infinitely pissed with them. Last time something like this happened you refused to eat. And for sure, this would cause that too. This was bad.
“I-I’m sorry she just tried to leave and I grabbed her- a-and then I couldn’t let go and she got smaller and- I think it hurt bad because she started screaming- and I just-“ the poor girl sped through her words like a race car driver, mic gave Aizawa a worried glance at the sound of you screaming, but the tall black haired man was too preoccupied with baby you. Sure, you were already their baby, but this just felt so real. Now you were actually so tiny, you were really defenseless, you actually need him to survive. The man put his hand over your little one? Clasping ag your chubby fingers, you just let out a gurgling coo, as if you were trying to say something, but were too high on whatever eri have you with her quirk. It felt like you’d just taken four melatonins but were trying to stay awake. You cuddled close to aizawas chest from your litttle baby position, naturally being drawn to the warmth, and the man’s heart practically broke on the spot.
“It’s okay honey, just- be careful with your sister from now on okay? Let’s get you two inside, we’re gonna have to check up in her” mic assured, grabbing the arm of Aizawa who was staring at you in a daze lovingly. you were just so small, so fragile, all he could ask was, is this permenant? Are you really their baby now? He sucked in a breath when you let out a whimper, you were just so defenseless, oh god he lives you so much.
Maybe this really was a blessing in-disguise…

Happy Halloween
Word Count: 2.7k
Summary: You are walking home from work on Halloween night and get taken to a party...filled with monsters.
A/N: I just wrote this yesterday and I did not expect it to be so long. I was planning on it being a drabble haha. This features all the demon brothers as different Halloween monsters, some I took from Obey Me! and others I came up with. Please enjoy! :))
Halloween night was almost nearing its end. There were no kids out, it was time for the adults to party. Saturday night and a full moon? It was perfect. But you were in no mood. Yeah, your girlfriends were out with their sexy costumes on, but you had an apartment you lived in alone you had to afford so you had to take this extra night at work when you were offered the chance.
______
The night was chilling and the moon was full. You were so ready to go home after a long shift, have a glass of wine, and then pass out watching some good scary movies eating candy and popcorn. Sadly, this would be done alone, but you didn’t really care about that much anyway.
The walk home wasn’t long but it sure felt like it was. You tugged your coat around your body to keep warm, and headed down the cobblestoned alleyway to your apartment.
“Hello, there,” a voice said behind you.
You jumped and turned. A strange man in a dark hooded outfit stood in the center of the path, and you could just see his smirk on a pale face. You took a few steps back, ready to fight. Those self-defense classes were not going to be for nothing.
“What do you want?” you asked plainly. Damn, you didn’t have your pocket knife or pepper spray. How stupid could you be, fucking hell.
“I just want… a little bite…”
You paused and tilted your head. “What? Did you follow me from the restaurant, because it’s still open for a couple hours if you’re looking to eat?”
He glided closer, and his face was more visible in the street light above you. He was stunning, and you were in awe at first. Then you saw his eyes dark red. And he had a black diamond on his forehead. What was this guy dressed up as? And he seemed a bit older to go trick or treating…
“Look into my eyes,” he said in a seductive tone.
You did, and waited. If he was going to attack you, you would defend yourself. You were not going to attack first because that would be stupid, he could have a knife or something.
He blinked a few times, and then stepped back. He pushed his hood off and sighed. Wow, he was like a dark angel. “Well, if you would have simply said something I wouldn’t have gone through all of that. Obviously my enchantment was for naught. Are you going to the party? If so, it’s this way.” The man turned, and looked back with a raised brow. “Well?”
You stumbled after him. “Uh, yes, the party…”
Well, it looked like you had something to do after all. Follow this sexy man to a party. It was Halloween.
_+_
You kept staring at him as you walked the streets, which were pretty bare. He seemed to notice it because he glanced back at you, and each time you flushed scarlet. He chuckled each time as well.
“You’re very beautiful when you blush,” he said suddenly, making you jump. “My name is Lucifer.” You introduced yourself, and he nodded and smiled. “Pleased to meet you.”
Eventually you both ended up at a large mansion. You sincerely hoped this wasn’t some elaborate trap. Also, why did you follow him? How stupid were you?
He held open the door for you, and smirked while you awed at the incredible house. “It’s King Diavolo’s property. I assume from your expression you have never been to his annual party?”
You shook your head. “N-no.” King Diavolo?
“Hm, interesting. Let me take your coat,” he said, and you gave it to him. Lucifer placed it in a closet and then offered his arm, which you took. You felt so under-dressed, but you supposed you could say your costume was a waitress (even though you were one, technically).
Once you entered the next room, you could hear and see the lights of a party in full swing. Then the double doors opened and it was booming bass and flashing lights assaulting your hearing and vision. Glancing around you saw all types of costumes. Demons, Werewolves, Vampires, Mummies, and more. Some were really well done, too. It was a rave of faux monsters and you were just in a plain every day outfit.
“What do you think?”
“It’s… wow!”
He agreed. “Come, let’s get you a drink. I didn’t get mine so I’m quite thirsty.”
You both walked around the dance floor to reach a smaller section of food and drinks where only two people stood.
“Beel, Belphie, this is my… new acquaintance. These are my brothers.” Then Lucifer turned his head sharply to the left and sighed. “Excuse me, my brother is causing problems. I’ll be right back. Beel, Belphie, you’ll stay with her. She has never been here before.”
And Lucifer left you with the two at the side table full of food. One person was wearing a stitched clothing look, and had stiches all over his face and hands as well. He was portraying Frankenstein’s monster, obviously.
He stopped chewing and spoke, “My name is Beel, and this is Belphie, my twin brother.” He ignored your suspicious glance at the term ‘twin’ and continued eating the food in front of him.
Belphie yawned. He leaned against the table, and blinked blearily. He was so pale, paler than Lucifer, even. Did he wear a costume? He just looked sickly. “Are you well?” you asked on impulse.
Belphie smirked. “You’re very sweet to ask, hm? I wonder… Are you a hum—”
“Beel, how many time do I have to tell you? This food is not all for you.” Lucifer’s voice rang out.
He was suddenly beside you, with someone else in tow. A tanned man with little to nothing on, jeans and no shirt with a dog costume featuring wolf ears and a tail. He had a sharp-toothed grin as he looked you up and down.
“Mammon, stop drooling. It’s disgusting. I apologize for his behavior, we didn’t get to train him properly.” Lucifer went to Beel, then, and was attempting to rearrange the food on the table and show him what he could eat.
While the twins chuckled, Mammon rolled his eyes. “Hey, I’m just appreciating the view, that’s all!”
You blushed. “W-what? I’m not some piece of meat, you know!”
Mammon licked his lips. “To me, sweet cheeks, you are.” He winked. How rude was that!
“Hey, I didn’t know we all were getting together! Why wasn’t I invited?”
“Because your annoying, Levi,” Belphie said monotonously.
Levi was a purple haired man with a witch hat and scepter in hand. He had ridiculous stripped tights on, too. But he was kind of adorable.
“Rude! I am not annoying, you are! Always moaning around and sleeping, so stupid!” He looked at you, then, and you raised a brow, ready to introduce yourself. But he suddenly laughed. “Wow, if I wasn’t busy I would totally do something about this normie. Okay, who wants to have some fun?” He waived his wand, sparks coming out at the tip, which you thought was a cool trick.
Mammon raised his hand. “Oh, I am in. If it involves some money I’m double in. Let’s go!” Mammon blew you a kiss, and you thought you saw his tail wagging. But that was impossible.
Beel was still speaking with Lucifer when you noticed Mammon being dragged off by the witchy-boy. “I can’t help it if my stomach is like this, you know, it’s just the parts I was given.”
Lucifer sighed. “I know. Next time I’ll make sure Barbatos knows you are coming so he can prepare.”
“No need. I have brought more food for Beel to enjoy so the other guests can as well.” Another sudden appearance, this time with a bat-ear wearing butler dressed man. He also wore a tail? Why all the tails? Seriously, though, if there were any more people popping up out of nowhere you would have a heart attack.
Beel’s face brightened. You couldn’t help but smile, too. “Thanks!” he said, and he dug in.
“Yes, thank you, Barbatos. It’s much appreciated.”
“As I said, it’s not a problem,” the so-called Barbatos said. Then he looked you over, raised a brow, and shook his head. “Not another one.” And he walked away.
You had no clue what that meant, but before you could think more on it another person showed up (you actually saw them walking over, thankfully). This man was tall and dressed in white, with white angel wings behind him.
He smiled at Lucifer. “Ah, Lucifer, I was hoping to see you. It’s been a while. I hope you’re well?”
“I am, thank you. This is my new companion.” Lucifer gestured to you.
The man frowned. “Luci, don’t tell me...”
“No, no, Simeon, she is one of us. I’m not sure what, but you know how impolite it is to ask.”
You were lost yet again, but oh well. It was a party with people you really didn’t know, there were bound to be inside jokes, right?
“Yes, of course.” Simeon smiled at you, and took your hand to kiss it. His lips were smooth and he was basically as perfect as Lucifer, only darker skin and brighter eyes. “Pleasure. Don’t let Lucifer corrupt this bright soul of yours. Enjoy the party.” And he left, asking Lucifer to contact him more.
Lucifer stroked your lower back and you shivered. “Are you cold?” He draped his cloak around you, and you could smell his scent. It was subtle, almost like breathing in cool air with a hint of spice.
He smirked. “Would you like to dance, darling?”
You blushed, but nodded. Lucifer took you out on the dance floor.
“This is so fun,” you said. “I never really go out on Halloween. Usually I stay home.”
“Well, I am glad to have you here with me now.” He leaned in and breathed in against your neck. “Hm, I would love to taste you, however. Shame.”
You stuttered. “U-uh-um…”
He chuckled. “A shy type, hm? Very endearing.”
“LUUUCIIIFERRR!”
He stopped spinning you and pulled you close, and you leaned into him. He wasn’t warm, but he wasn’t cold, either. It was like he had no heat at all to give or receive.
“Asmodeus. I am busy, bother me later.”
“But Mammon is—”
“If he isn’t eating anyone, then leave me alone.”
“Aw, who is your friend? She looks so sweet! Not your type, that’s for sure!” he giggled.
“This is my brother, Asmo. Please, if he does anything to you, let me know.”
The three of you walked to the side of the dance floor and you got a good look at Asmo. He was beautiful. There were fake scales of all colors highlighting his cheeks and neck, and he wore a tight cat-suit. You assumed he was either dressed like a snake or lizard, but you were not sure.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, darling~” He kissed your cheek, and you blushed. He giggled. “I’m a siren, but I promise I won’t sing to you. I couldn’t let this gorgeous face shrivel up!”
You widened your eyes. Wow, these party-goers were super serious on their roles. Maybe this was a huge LARP party.
“Asmodeus, is Mammon behaving himself or not?”
“Ah, yes, yes, he is not, no.”
Lucifer looked pissed. “What is he doing?”
“Oh, you know. The usual.” Asmo waved his hand around like it was noting.
Clearly it wasn’t, as Lucifer strolled away so fast you swore if you had blinked he’d be gone. “What—?”
Asmo laughed at you. “He does that a lot. Anyways, my dear, I must be going. I have a lot of fans to see and people to seduce~ Keep to the side and you’ll be safe! Oh, and call me if you want to have some fun later,” and he was gone.
Left alone for the first time, you actually glanced around. The party was stunning and so were to people. You were glad you went out. Meeting Lucifer and his brothers was fun, even if they were a little weird.
“Here, have another drink.”
You glanced over to see a blonde man dressed in a red and black cloak with striking blue eyes. He also wore false vampire fangs. He nodded at the table, and held out a red solo cup to you. “It’s from the punch bowl. Nothing too strong, no alcohol either.”
You took what the blonde vampire offered. “Thanks.” It was delicious, bubbly and sweet. “It’s good.”
He smirked. “I could tell you’d like the sweeter drinks. You reek of innocence.”
You blushed, holding the drink close to your body. “Uh, okay…” What a creeper.
“Satan. Enough.” Lucifer strolled over. “Are you all right, my dear? Did my brother frighten you? He can be a bit brash.”
What kind of a name was Satan? Also, how many brothers did Lucifer have? Six now? “No, he’s fine. He gave me a drink.”
Lucifer glared at Satan. Satan glared back. Did they just hiss at each other?
Come to think of it, why did all these guys have strange names like Satan and Lucifer and Leviathan? And while you glanced around, you could see tiny details you had not before. Like Mammon’s fake appendages, or Levi’s wand…
“The time has come. Midnight is upon us! I present with great honor… our King Diavolo!
You were so focused on connecting dots, you barely heard Barbatos announce. Then, when a blinding golden light came from the top of the stairs, you, and other party-goers, gasped. He was stunning. Large, regal, painted in gold and with black wings expanding behind him.
“Monsters of all kinds, I welcome you to this year’s Halloween Party! I hope you all have a hauntingly good time.” Chuckles throughout the room. He grinned. “Midnight is seconds away. Please join me in counting down.”
You looked around, Lucifer at your side, Satan behind you. You saw Levi and Mammon standing together, cheering and raising glasses in time with the countdown. Beel and Belphie behind you, Belphie smirking at you in a way that was lecherous and mysterious.
“Three… two… one!”
You expected something big, grand, like fireworks. Instead, you saw something terrifying. Firstly, you noticed Belphie. He stared you down as he evaporated into nothing. He was still there, but you could see through him! Then, you glanced around, and really took note of all the costumes.
Only, they were not costumes. You saw Mammon’s tail actually moving. You saw Levi waving his wand and making sparks and more drinks appear. Many, many other things, that you swore you did not see before. But maybe you did, and assumed it was fake and for Halloween?
“Darling, your heart is beating so loud. Are you all right?” Lucifer’s hand on your back had you jumping.
Your heart? He heard it your heart beating.
You shook your head. He looked you up and down, and frowned. “No, no, ‘m not okay,” you said shakily.
He started to lead you away, then. But you were interrupted. By King Diavolo. Oh, my fuck, was he actually a King of Monsters?
“My King,” Lucifer bowed, and you did, too, on reaction.
Diavolo grinned. “Luci, my oldest friend! How are you? Enjoying the party?” Then he looked at you, and you held your breath. He seemed to pause. “What is a human doing here? Are you doing this again, I thought we talked about this when you brought that human two centuries ago.”
You ignored the fact that he said ‘two centuries’ and panicked. “P-please, I-I’ll go now…”
Lucifer was in shock, as well. “But my enchantment did not work, so I assumed…”
King Diavolo stroked his chin. “It didn’t, hm? Strange. Yes, she is human… But that has not happened before.”
You were stuck being observed by him. Trapped in a room full of legitimate monsters. Why did you come? How fucking idiotic could you be?
“Well, it has always been a vision of mine to align all worlds together. I do want to know how she wasn’t affected by a vampire’s enchantment, too. But it’s too dangerous for her to be in this room. Take her upstairs until the party is done.”
“Yes, King Diavolo.”

Overwatch goes roller skating and Lúcio falls on his ass- a ficlet
(Overwatch as in everyone who is in Overwatch after the Rio mission in Overwatch 2, so Lúcio is actually included.)
—-
Lúcio hummed the notes to a song that’s been stuck in his head while he tied the laces to his roller blades. The general morale of the team had been pretty low as of late; and Mei had been the one to suggest them all going out and doing something to take their minds off of the constant stress they all felt. Everyone had agreed to it wholeheartedly (except Genji, who was indifferent. But he was always indifferent except for when he talks with Angela), eyebrows perking up at the suggestion. But when everyone had realized that they hadn’t actually thought about what to do, that’s when Lúcio came in.
“Roller skating..?” Angela said cautiously. Lúcio could tell her mind had instantly begun to think out any possible scenario that resulted in injury. Lena, Mei, and Brigitte, on the other hand, were all for it.
“Oh, I haven’t been roller skating in ages,” said Lena, already getting excited at the thought, “not since I went with Emily on her birthday a few years ago!”
At the sight of the younger members getting pumped up, Reinhardt sighed and gave Winston the “I suppose we don’t have a choice” look. Reinhardt had never been roller skating.
So here they all were now, tying up their skates (or blades, in Lúcio’s case) in a little skating rink that they had rented out for the evening, and chattering amongst themselves. Personally, Lúcio was pumped. He hadn’t skated on anything other than his wall-riders in so long, and he had decided not to wear those because he didn’t want them to tear up the floor of the rink. He just needed to remind himself that he can’t wallride in standard roller blades. That would be embarrassing.
Finished with his laces, Lúcio stood and stretched.
“Yo, everyone ready?!” He called to the team. It was strange to see everyone wearing casual clothing, most of them wearing jeans or leggings with a t-shirt, though Genji still wore his hoodie and sweatpants. At least he was actually wearing clothing. Lena pumped her fist in the air and cheered, while he got confirmation from the rest of them that they all were, in fact, ready. It was time to go into the rink.
Lena was a natural, whooping and laughing as she blinked past everyone on the rink. Angela had advised against Lena blinking while in skates, but she did it anyways. Angela was calmly skating close to the wall, in a deep conversation with Genji. Genji hadn’t been roller skating since before his... misfortune with his brother, so every once in a while he would slip and Angela would laugh as Genji tried to recover his balance. Brigitte had her hair in a messy bun and was skating with Reinhardt, attempting to keep him steady as he wobbled around on his skates and grasped at the walls. Lúcio was still astonished that the rink even had skates in Reinhardt’s size. Winston and Echo had decided not to join, seeing as neither of them had human feet. But they watched and laughed, enjoying the sight of their teammates and friends finally having fun for a change. Lúcio grinned to himself. It was a hit!
Lúcio glided across the rink with ease, his loose dreads flowing behind him. This was the best he’s felt in a while, and look, everyone else was happy too! Because of him! Lúcio sped up and took a sharp turn around the rink, receiving a playful cheer from Mei. He zipped past Reinhardt, who then muttered something in German about children these days. Lúcio began to skate even faster still, letting years and years of practice, and his good mood, take over. He raced Lena, he high-five’d Genji as he blew by, and he turned the music in his wireless headphones up. He’d forgotten how much fun skating really was when he wasn’t doing it out of necessity. He jumped, he spun, he skated on one foot, everything done without a second thought. Winston and Echo cheered him on, shouting every time he pulled a trick. This was so much fun. Lúcio began to remember a cool trick he’d done the other day out on the field, and set his eyes on one of the rink’s walls. Just a simple bounce off and a flip, he thought to himself, this’ll look SO dope. He let his hand rest lightly on the wall as he skated at a dangerously high speed, and jumped, letting his blades connect to the wall and-
Oh shit.
Oh shit.
“OH SHIT-”
Lúcio was not wearing wallriders.
Lúcio shouted as he felt his tailbone explode into a world of pain, and he did a full backwards somersault before coming to a stop on his back. He groaned and sat up slowly, rubbing his head and watching as the team skated up to him. Well, most of the team. Reinhardt bad been left on the other side of the rink, on his knees and laughing so hard tears had formed in his eyes.
Angela knelt by his side and helped Lúcio stand back up, and he barely suppressed a yelp as he felt another spike of pain up his tailbone. Angela looked Lúcio dead in the eyes.
“Of all the people I thought would be injured tonight,” she said slowly, trying her best to suppress laughter for Lúcio’s sake, “I absolutely did not think it was going to be you.”
“THE SKATER FELL!” Reinhardt howled from across the room. “HE SKATES EVERY DAY! AND HE FELL! RIGHT ON HIS ASS!”
Lúcio’s face flushed, making the small freckles on his cheeks appear more pronounced as he let out a breathy, embarrassed laugh.
“I- I thought I had my wallriders! I thought I could just hop up on the wall!” He tried to say as more and more members of the team began to succumb to their laughter.
“A-are you-” Mei paused to let out a giggle, “Are you all right?”
“RIGHT ON HIS ASS!” Reinhardt yelled on the other side of the rink. His face was completely red now, and tears were streaming down his cheeks.
“I’m fine,” Lúcio said. He was totally not fine. This was the most humiliating moment of his life. “Definitely fine.”
Angela seemed to notice his distress and chuckled, putting her recently chopped hair behind her ear.
“It’s all right Lúcio,” she said. “It happens to all of us.”
Lúcio cocks his head in confusion.
“What, you all just randomly fall on your asses?” This receives another uproar of laughter.
Lena shakes her head, giggling, and pipes up.
“No, mate! She means we all slip up sometimes when our brains are on autopilot.” Everyone nods. “One time I was jus’ walking to the kitchen and I thought I saw a figure behind me! Without even thinking, I whipped out my pistols. Turns out I’d left bullet holes in Emily’s chair.”
“Yeah!” Brigitte said, “I was playing catch with Genji this one time, and his mind totally blanked out, and instead of catching the ball, he sliced it in half!”
Lúcio laughed in surprise. He looked to Genji, who nodded in confirmation, the only evidence of him actually laughing was his shoulders shaking a little. Mei placed her hands on Lúcio’s shoulder.
“See, you don’t need to be embarrassed! We’re not going to view you any differently.” She said, smiling sweetly as she pushed her glasses up her nose.
“Yeah, mate!” Said Lena. She leaned in to whisper in Lúcio’s ear. “Although, Rein might make fun of you for the rest of your life.”
“Great, I can’t wait for that.” Said Lúcio sarcastically. He was feeling a lot better. It was nice to know that he hadn’t just completely ruined his chance of being viewed as a respectable member of Overwatch, and he was glad to know that even the most graceful of teammates slip up.
Overwatch changed out of their skates and went back home, everyone in good spirits. Lúcio’s ass hurt for a solid week.

Note: The painting that I’m referencing is this one. (It’s called The Happy Accidents of the Swing by Jean-Honoré Fragonard.)
Your name: submit What is this? // <![CDATA[ function replaceAll(find, replace, str) { return str.replace(new RegExp(find, 'g'), replace); } function myHandler() { var input = document.getElementById("inputTxt").value; document.body.innerHTML = replaceAll('Y/N', document.getElementById("inputTxt").value, document.body.innerHTML); } // ]]>
The last thing you remembered was crying. You were lost in your own personal demons about the stresses of everything that was unraveling all at once, with no chance of stopping the impending doom. And what you had heard come straight out of his mouth. "She's gonna be your reason. Like she's mine." Dean, the man you would do anything he asked, the one you went to Hell for after you made a deal to pull his ass out of the fire—the person you have been trying to save, had the audacity to mutter those words with such a sad, sad tone. Like he didn't have a choice. His struggle was keeping his mouth shut and not saying a single word. Meanwhile, you've been keeping quiet for once while an evil force was growing inside of you. You were trying your hardest not to let it win. In what messed up world did he have a right to feel sorry for himself and take the easy way out?
You were so caught up in your own pessimistic thoughts, you almost didn't realize you weren't in Bobby's house anymore. And you had a feeling you weren't even in Sioux Falls. Your mind seemed to have figured out you had been staring at an oil painting in a gold frame. It must have been from at least the late eighteenth century based upon the clothing the people were wearing. Your head tilted to the side slightly to the side as a small smile spread across your lips from how much fun they seemed to have been having. The setting was of a young woman dressed in a pastel pink dress swinging off of a tree with blossomed white flowers in some kind of garden that seemed hidden away from the world. It appeared to be peaceful, almost like their own little oasis away from the troubles of the world.
Your eyes wandered to a man standing behind the woman, from what he was holding, it appeared that he was pushing her. Another man laid in a bush with a hand out as he stared up at her with happiness, or maybe it was longing for her. Your eyes noticed that her shoe had accidentally come off, as it floated mid frame in the picture, and straight for a statue you almost didn’t notice. It was a stone statue of an angel bending on one knee as he pressed a finger against his lips. Both men had no idea it was there, and while the woman was smiling and having fun, her eyes were focused on the statue. For some reason the statue reminded you of someone from the way his small finger was pressed against his lips, like he was telling her to keep a secret from the two men around her as she had her fun with them.
You tore your gaze away from the painting to inspect the new surroundings that you had landed yourself in. The room was something of magnificent beauty. You noticed right away of the gold trimmings and very expensive looking furniture that you might see belonging to royalty and other things like statues or vases that looked to have been artifacts you would observe in a museum. Out of curiosity, you reached out a hand to touch a statue of what appeared to be an angel, but a voice coming out from thin air, made you accidentally flinch, causing your arm to knock over the statue to break into several pieces. A heavy sigh of annoyance fell from someone’s mouth at what you had done. Turning your head, you looked to see it was a face you hadn’t seen that long ago, it was Zachariah, and you didn't need much more clarification to know where you had ended up.
"Welcome back, Y/N." Zachariah greeted you with open arms as he gave you a smile, his hands gestured to the room, your eyes wandered around the familiar sight before landing back on the angel. You furrowed your brow in confusion and began to wonder if you were dreaming about this place and he was in your head, trying to find out of your whereabouts. "Oh, no. You're not dreaming, Y/N. Adam graciously offered where you and him have been hiding. It's time.”
“Time for what?” You asked. You weren’t honestly sure what you were doing here in the room of where the angels kept you and Dean before Lucifer got free from his cage. But then the reality came crashing down all at once from the thought of the past that was the reason why you were here. You bit your tongue to keep yourself from letting out a few curse words to let him know you knew exactly what was going on. Eight months of trying not to get here, and you thought the only thing you had to worry about was making sure Dean didn't escape and say yes to Michael. But it was now all over. This is it. This was the end. "Oh, no."
“Oh, yes. I’ve been waiting millenniums for this exact moment. Have to admit, I'm a bit surprised to see that you would be the one standing here in my presence right before the big fight. But of course, I understand you’re scared. You thought judgement day would never come. As if the answer to all your problems could be found in some dusty book.” Zachariah said. He put one foot in front of the other and began walking. “You honestly thought you could play Heaven and Hell to your advantage, huh? All that effort of sneaking around just to save Sam and Dean from their destiny. I don’t know if I should congratulate you for being smarter than those two maggots together. Or think you’re desperate as the both of them. You know you can’t trust them.”
"I trust them more than any of you." You said. You crossed your arms over your chest and watched as the angel began to circle around you. Like a predator circling its prey, he watched you squirm under the pressure, and slowly realize you had stuck yourself straight in the spot of giving both sides exactly what they wanted so the boys could be safe. There was no way out of this. You knew they were probably hunting down Lucifer to give him exactly what he wanted, and that was you. But you stood straighter up and grew a smirk. “And besides, it won’t take them long until they realize I’m gone. They’ll come for me.”
“You sure about that? Because I just got word that Dean ran off to try and say yes to Michael first. And Sam's out looking for him. They have no idea you're even gone. And you still think they care about you. Why do you still?” Zachariah asked you. You swallowed as you looked away from him. “Trust me, Y/N, this is history repeating itself all over again. When the heat gets hot, they never gave a crap about you. They’d rather save each other’s sweet bacon than the planet. Or your life, for that matter.”
“You’re lying.” You said. “When Dean finds out what you’re trying to do, he’ll kill you.”
“What am I doing? You're the one with all the free will here. I never pushed you into making a single decision.
the one who asked me to bring Adam back from the dead.
the one who told the Devil that you would be his vessel after you gave him permission to turn you into his little pet demon. I’m doing simply as you asked.” Zachariah shifted his tone to a cold and threatening one. You pretended not to be afraid of his attempt at be the authority over you as he stood taller, trying to make you feel small. Like David going up against Goliath, but without any special tricks up your sleeve. There was no way out of this, and the angel knew he had you cornered exactly where he wanted you. “They’re not your family, Y/N.”
"You know what? Screw you, screw Lucifer. I'm not doing this. You understand me? I am out of this." You suddenly snapped at him, diverting your nervousness into anger. You thought taking permission away from the situation would have made it disappear like that. But when Zachariah began laughing and looking at you like a small child having a temper tantrum, you could feel your heartbeat pound in your chest. "You heard me, you son of a bitch. Lucifer can't get this sweet ass of mine and he sure as hell isn't making me a demon. The deal's off the table."
This might have been the stupidest thing you ever did. You had read stories where vampires could have been uninvited from someone's house if you told them to get out. For some reason, you thought it couldn't hurt to work here. If you could somehow reject your invitation from Lucifer so you could have it where he couldn't jump into your skin, it was worth a shot. However, from the smile of amusement that spread across Zachariah's face, you knew it was a shot in the dark. And you missed your target.
"Sorry, kiddo. No can do. You made your bed, and now it's time to lie in it. Once we track down Lucifer and get you out of my hair, we can get this show on the road. Oh. And before you can do anything stupid.” Zachariah said, stopping himself from vanishing from sight. You watched as he pulled out your cell phone from the inside of his suit pocket and dropped it to the floor without a care. With the heel of his shoe, he smashed it to tiny pieces, making sure it was nothing more than dust. “Just in case you tried to do anything stupid. And we don’t want that, now do we?”
“You…” You stared at your phone, the one thing that connected you from the outside world. You had a thought about calling Cas or the boys to tell them what was going on here. But it seemed he had went through every scenario to keep you here. Now you were trapped with no way out of this. You could feel your breathing becoming labored as your eyes glanced up at the angel. “You bastard.”
"You know, if I didn't have to hand you to Lucifer so soon, I'd make you regret those words. And everything you did to me." Zachariah said. You narrowed your eyes at him from his threatening tone, like you were scared of him anymore. "But I guess we can't regret that, can't we? We have bigger things ahead of us. Sit tight, Y/N. You’re on your own now. But I’ll be back soon enough. And...Don't forget the deal we made, champ.”
In the blink of an eye, Zachariah disappeared from your sight. You were left to stare at the same painting that you had been so focused on since arriving here. You were left alone in the room with your rushing thoughts as your only company. All these months your biggest worry was about trying not to have either of the boys say yes. But, in a twist of events, you were standing here with judgement day right behind you. It was you who was going to be fighting Michael. You've never felt so small, so guilty in your life before until now. Zachariah was right about this. History was repeating itself. You tried so hard to save the day, but you only pushed things into exactly where they wanted it.
This was just like the time he told you that you would help Lilith break the final seal. You agreed, thinking you could somehow help Sam take her down before time was up. Only that was exactly what they wanted. Lilith had been the final seal, and in your presence, it broke, setting Lucifer free from the cage. You somehow managed to get yourself to sit as you felt the room starting to spin around you. Suddenly you wanted to be back in Sioux Falls..hell, anywhere than this place right now. This wasn’t meant to happen. You were trying to help. But you shot yourself in the foot with nobody to help you. Your eyes wandered down to your cell phone that was nothing more than broken pieces of plastic and wires.
What if Zachariah was right? What if Sam and Dean didn’t realize you were gone? You suddenly bit the inside of your cheek, hard enough until your tongue noticed the familiar thick copper taste of blood. You would do just about anything to keep yourself from crying.
+ + + "Bobby, what do you mean 'Adam and Y/N are gone'?" "Should I say it in Spanish?" "They're gone how?" Sam tried to keep himself calm in the situation being thrown at him all at once. His brother escaped, Cas was blown off somewhere else, and on top of the crap show that was turning out to be his night, you and his half brother disappeared out of thin air. The younger Winchester paced around the floor as he ran his fingers through his hair as he tried not to lash out at the man for what he couldn't control. But he accidentally thrown out a question. "What the hell, Bobby?! You shouldn't have let her walk out like that!" "Watch your tone, boy." Bobby warned the younger man when Sam dare try to raise his voice at him. The older hunter might be paralyzed, but he wasn't going to be blamed for something he couldn't control. He was getting worried himself. "He was right in front of me, and then he disappeared out from thin air. And I tried looking for Y/N the best that I can. Called her phone at least dozen times. She's reckless, I've give her that. But she's not stupid. She wouldn't leave like this, Sam." "They're not here because the angels took them." The two hunters quickly looked over at the other side of the library to figure out where the other voice coming from. Sam could feel himself letting out the slightest sigh of relief at the sight of his brother back with Cas, but he was unconscious, not to mention, bloody and battered. The younger Winchester furrowed his brow and asked what happened as Cas carelessly tossed Dean's body to the empty cot to rest. He adjusted his shoulders after carrying the man's weight and answered that he had done it. Cas had went a few rounds with the older man, but from the way that it turned out, he was a bit pissed off at him for reasons Sam really didn't care about right now. "What the hell do you mean the angels to them?" Bobby asked. "You branded their ribs, didn't you?" "Yes. Y/N wouldn't tell them where we are. It must have been Adam." Cas said. He thought to himself for a moment about how this could have happened, Bobby wondered himself when he asked. "I don't know. Maybe in a dream." "Well, where they have have taken them?" Sam asked, hopeful the angel might have an idea. "It can't be crazy far, right?" Cas fell silent as he tried to figure out where his fellow brother would stash two people that they were lead to believe was the vessels for the apocalypse. He suddenly remembered the year before, right before Lucifer was set free, you and Dean had been swiped away from Bobby's house, and to a special room. Sam and Bobby blinked, only to see the angel disappeared from their sight. Sam clenched his jaw in frustration and looked down at his brother. He could only hope this wouldn't end up in a disaster.

You sat at the head of the table with your arms crossed over your chest as you leaned back in your seat, your eyes narrowed in annoyance as you watched Adam scarf down yet another burger. You and him had been locked together in the room for what felt like an eternity. Time seemed to have been an illusion when you were here—in this twisted place you started to call the angels' greenroom. One of Zachariah's goons offered you just about anything to please your desire to make you happy. Food, books, alcohol. All you told them that you wanted to go home for one last time. The angel found himself laughing at your request, but when he realized you were being serious from the glare that seemed to have been permanently sketched on your face, it was quickly denied. So you quietly sat for however long since the angel had left, lost in your own anger as Adam had the time of his life indulging in food and having a beer.
Every so often when he wasn’t paying attention, a scowl crossed your face from how he was behaving. He had been brainwashed into giving the exact location of where you and him were hiding out, all because Zachariah made him believe his own blood was the enemy here. He didn’t realize what he was about to get himself into once things started getting serious.
“You know, this isn’t so bad.” Adam tried to make conversation with you, breaking your attention away from a spot on the wall you had been staring at. You turned your head over to look at him, the man swallowed down another bite of his burger. “I mean, think about what paradise is gonna be like once we win.”
You rolled your eyes from his conversation starter, "Shut up and eat your damn food."
“I see you and your brother share the same refined palate.” Zachariah’s voice came out from thin air, bringing your attention away from the young man you sat next to. The glare on your face never faltered when the angel sat on top of the marble table with his hands folded neatly in his lap. He turned his gaze away from Adam and to you, he seemed cheery, acting as if nothing had unfolded before between the both of you. You crossed your arms tighter around your body and avoided his gaze. “What’s wrong? You don’t want anything before the big hoorah, Y/N?”
“I wanna go home.” You told him your request. “That’s what I want.”
"You know I can't do that." Zachariah said, sounding apologetic for your ludicrous demand that you knew he wouldn’t dare do. Not after the struggle he went through to get you exactly where he wanted you. "Unlike last time, I need you where I can see you."
“So, uh…” Adam finished the last bite of his food before placing down on the table. Unlike you and your pessimistic behavior, the younger man was restless to get this started. He decided to change the subject to the more important events that were being drawn up as all of you shared this conversation. He looked at the angel with a bit of an eager expression from the question that he asked next. “We ready?”
Zachariah looked a little confused at what the young man asked, "For what?"
“What do you mean, for what?" Adam asked. He cracked a smile, thinking the angel was joking with him. "For Michael."
“Oh. Right. About that…” Zachariah winced at how the conversation was about to turn. He gave the both of you a smile as you furrowed your brow from how he was acting, it was like he had to break some bad news to you. “Look, this is never easy, and I know how much trouble you went through to get here Y/N, but...I’m afraid we’ve had to terminate your position at this time.”
“What?” You didn't understand one word he just said, you looked at the angel sitting right across from you like he was speaking some foreign language you never heard of. You slowly looked over at Adam, the both of you were confused at what Zachariah was trying to say, but you knew it wasn't good. Things just kept getting worse the more they kept you around here. "What the hell are you trying to say? I thought we had a deal."
"Yeah, sorry. No. But, I admit, you did have us going there for a while, Y/N. It was smart thinking for you to try and be Lucifer's vessel. You can't get get the party started if he can never find you. And bringing Adam into this? A nice little touch to keep us happy. But the fun's over. It's time to get the real show on the road." Zachariah said. You clenched your jaw from what was happening here. This wasn't the real thing, this was something far worse. "Come on. Both of you have been hell of a sport, really—good stuff. But the thing is, you two aren't exactly the perfect fit as you are...a clammy scrap of bait."
"No, but what about the stuff that you said?" Adam asked. He wasn't pleased himself at what was going on. Being pulled away from his Heaven and told that he was the chosen one, only to find out, he was being used like a piece of meat to get the real beast. "I'm supposed to fight the Devil—I mean, her. I thought we were supposed to win."
"Mm, not so much. You see, the Winchesters and Y/N have a very easy relationship that we use to our advantage. I wasn't lying when they said they are psychotically, irrationally, erotically codependent on each other." Zachariah said. You looked at him with a bit of a disturbed expression from how he explained his relationship with you and the boys. It was far different from what he had told you earlier. "All you need to do is get someone they love, dangle their feet into the fire and Winchesters turn into putty right in our hands. How do you think we got Lucifer free from the cage?"
"You son of a bitch!" You hissed at him, You pushed yourself to your feet, letting the legs of the chair scrape against the floor. "You set us up. You told me—"
"Did you honestly think for a second I would listen to you—a little cambion, the scum on the bottom of my shoe, could fool Heaven and Hell into doing whatever you wanted. Did you honestly think I was that dumb?" Zachariah asked. He rolled his eyes and shook his head, wondering how he could trust someone that had resisted each step of the way, only to suddenly come to him when he was down on his luck with a plan that was too good to be true. You crossed your arms over your chest and gave him a glare. Your lips pouted out slightly more as your brow furrowed tightly together, making you appear as a child having a temper tantrum. "Hey, if it makes you two feel any better, you happen to be the illegitimate half brother of the guy we do care about. Y/N here is the reincarnation of the woman Michael had a thing for. And she’s the reason why Lucifer’s walking around free That's not bad, is it?”
“So, you lied to us.” You said. “About everything.”
“We didn’t lie, Y/N. We just avoided certain truths to manipulate you.” Zachariah said. “But to be fair, you set yourself up the moment you opened your big mouth to Lucifer. You might not be his vessel, but he’s looking for you. When he gets his hands on you, it’s only gonna be a step in the right direction. And you’ll be out of my hair for good. Thank heavens for that.”
“Oh, you son of a bitch.” You hissed at him, your lips stretching into a grim smile as you tried your hardest not to lunge across the table and claw his eyes out with your bare hands. “If the boys don’t kill you, I swear, I’m gonna do it myself.”
“Hey, do you two think I feel? I’m the one that’s got to put up with his dumb, slack-jawed look on his face. And your temper tantrums.” Zachariah mocked the both of you from how the way you were acting. You looked up from the table and stared at him with a deathly glare. He seemed to have sense your frustration at what you did. “Kid, we didn’t have a choice. The Winchesters got one blind spot, and that’s family. See, Sam and Dean, they’re gonna put aside their differences, and they’re gonna come get you two. And that is gonna put Dean right here—right where I need him.” “That was your whole trick, huh? You brought Adam into this and let everyone believe that he was gonna be the one to fight. And you knew Dean would never let him stand for that. That’s pretty clever. I’ll give you that.” You said, shrugging your shoulders. You wanted to know their entire game plan to see what they had up their sleeve. You wanted to know where you went wrong. “Okay. What about Sam? He’s not gonna say yes.” “You know, Dean was right about you being the reason why both of them said yes. Adam here is a prime example. Who brought him back? You. And did you honestly think Sam was going to be okay with Lucifer taking over your body? I think he’ll soften up when you get personally handed off to Lucifer. It’ll only be a matter of time before Sam breaks down and takes your place. Like I said, history repeating itself. I just needed to nudge you in the direction.” The angel explained. You shut your eyes for a moment at what was happening. Each way you tried to think, you were only greeted with the terrifying thought that there was no way out of this. “Don’t beat yourself up, Y/N. We really couldn’t have do this without you. Michael’s seen it. The tumblers finally click into place, and it’s all because of you. And me. But who’s keeping score?”
“Hate to burst you bubble, but I’m afraid you forget about one little detail.” You said. “Dean knows there’s a way to stop Lucifer that doesn’t require saying yes. And who’s to say we won’t tell him this isn’t a trap?”
“Y/N’s right.” Adam pushed himself to his feet and joined you. It seemed that he had come to his own conclusion that this was wrong, he wasn’t brought back from the dead to save the day. If the both of you worked together, maybe you could avoid certain problems. “We’re not gonna let you do this.”
“Cool your jets, corky. Sit down. Don’t drink the kool-aid she’s handing out. You and I will do this together. Plus, if you do, you get to keep your severance.” Zachariah reassured the younger man as he watched Adam take his seat again, letting him back away from the mistake he was about to do from bringing up the promise he made. “You still get to see your mom, okay?”
Adam seemed a bit skeptical about what he was being told. You slowly looked away from Zachariah and to Adam, who was sitting next to you. Both of you locked eyes for a moment. You had told him before that the angels weren't the good guys, they would use anyone for their own advantage. And when you shook your head, Adam seemed to have grown skeptical. He was lied to before about being the chosen one, who was to say they weren’t lying about letting him see his mother again. He looked over at the angel and asked, "Why should I believe you?"
“You know what? I keep hearing this.” Zachariah dismissed Adam’s question as he began mocking a talking motion with his hand at the both of you. Your brow scrunched together from how rude he was being, but it was a way for the two of you to do exactly what he wanted until the plan called for it. “But what I want to be hearing is this.”
You watched as he pointed his hand in Adam’s direction, and before you realized it, the marble tabletop was covered in blood after the young man leaned over at coughed it up. He leaned over the table and hugged his stomach, seeming to act like he was in pain. You quickly looked over at the angel to demand him to stop what he was doing, but before you could say the words, you felt like a thousand needles piercing your stomach. The thick taste of copper filled your mouth like bile, and much as you tried to keep it down, you leaned over the table and began spitting out your own blood, staining the white marble. You knew Zachariah had you exactly where he wanted you all this time. Silent and suffering in pain.
While he waited for the boys to put their thick skulls together and figure out something, he walked forward to the table, deciding that maybe he was wrong. He did have some time to have a bit of fun with you before Lucifer came along.

Dean Winchester woke up to his entire body feeling like it was in pain and one of his wrists cuff to a bed. The man slowly adjusted himself back into consciousness and looked around at his surroundings to see that he was cuffed to the bed in the panic room. This sure wasn't the events of a fun night. Dean winced slightly as he pushed himself to a sitting position the best way that he could, but making sure not to move from the pain that shot through his body. He took a moment and try to reduce the headache that was starting to settle in his head, not realizing that he had company.
“How you feeling?”
“Word to the wise, don't piss off the nerd angel. But, I guess this means Y/N and Cas are best friends." Dean said. He remembered what Cas had said back in the alley while the angel beat him up. Cas had done so much for him. And to hear about what Dean had said about you only made the angel become even more furious. Dean looked over at his little brother, he noticed the mention of your name made him look uncomfortable, like he was trying his hardest not to worry. "So, how's it going? I'm guessing Y/N heard everything I said."
"Y/N and Adam are gone." Sam broke the news to his brother, diverting away from the question that wasn't important right now. "The angels have them."
“Where?” Dean asked.
"The room where they took you and Y/N. Cas did a recon." Sam explained the information that he had been gathering over the past few hours while his brother was unconscious. Dean listened to every word that the man said, and just like that, his plans to sell himself to Michael had disappeared when he asked about the competition they were dealing with. "And the place is crawling with mooks—pretty much no-shot-in-hell, hail-Mary kind of thing."
“Ah, the usual.” Dean muttered underneath his breath. He looked around the room for a moment when he realized there was no way he could help. Not the way he wanted it to. “What are you gonna do?”
“For starters...I’m bringing you with.” Sam said. He pushed himself up from the chair that he had been sitting in and headed over to his brother. Shoving the key into the lock of the handcuffs, it only took a simple turn before Dean was free. The older Winchester willingly took back his free wrist and began to wonder if his brother was being stupid. But Sam didn’t think so. “There are too many of them. We can’t do it alone, and since Y/N isn’t here, you’re pretty much the only game in town.”
“Isn’t that a bad idea?” Dean asked, he watched as his little brother tossed the key to the desk and sat himself down on the edge. Sam shrugged his shoulders, saying how Cas and Bobby thought so, but he wasn’t so sure, he decided to be stupid and put some trust in his brother. “Well, they’re right. Because either it’s a trap to get us there and make us say yes, or it’s not a trap and I’m gonna say yes anyway. And I will. I’ll do it—fair warning.”
“No, you won’t.” Sam said. “When push shoves, you’ll make the right call.”
Dean looked at his brother for a moment, not so sure why he was putting so much confidence in the man. He had clearly stated that he was willingly ready to put his life on the line and push for the apocalypse. But Sam didn't believe him. "You know, if tables were turned...I'd let you rot in here." Dean said. "Hell, I have let you rot in here."
"Yeah, well...I guess I'm not that smart." Sam said, shrugging his shoulders.
"I don't get it." Dean muttered, knowing there was something else that his brother wasn't saying. "Sam, why are you still doing this?"
"Because, you're still my big brother. Y/N's our family. She's constantly pulling our asses out of the fire. Look at where it ended her. I need the help I can find to get her back. If you wanna go in there and say yes, fine. I can’t stop you.” Sam said. He pushed himself to his feet, but before he walked to the door, he looked back at his brother, wanting to say just one more thing. “But you love her, which I know you do, you won’t say yes. You’ll do the right thing.”
“And what’s that?” Dean asked.
"It's like the demon deal all over again." Sam said, giving him a bit of a hint. "And you know it."
Dean bit his bottom lip as he watched his little brother exit the panic room, leaving him to reflect on the words that he had said. The demon deal each of you had put out to save one another. Dean sold his soul to save his brother, you sold your soul to save him from Hell. Each of you fought tooth and nail to beat each other to a certain death. But at the end of it, both of you agreed that you didn't want to die. Dean realized that things didn't change much since then. Not even his desperation to get you back from the enemy after landing yourself in trouble, yet again.
