what color is your hairbrush? Aqua/Teal

name a food you never eat: Brussel sprouts. And fish.

are you typically too warm or too cold? Um... in winter I’m just perpetually cold. I prefer to be on the warmer side. But as I’ve gotten older that’s changed a little bit. But I don’t know if I’m like always cold or whatever.

what were you doing 45 minutes ago? lol eating fresh home made sour dough bread with my family.

what’s your favorite candy bar? 100 grand bars

have you ever been to a professional sports game? yes. a hockey game with my family and brothers’ hockey teams.

what’s the last thing you said out loud?: My brother was leaving so I yelled BYEEEEE HAVE A NICE DAY from my room and he said NO~! YOU HAVE A NICE DAY! so then I said FINE IF YOU’RE FORCING ME TO. lol. That was one of our nicer interactions 😂

what’s your favorite ice cream?: anything with caramel or maybe moosetracks. Or just plain vanilla cuz it’s classic, yummy, and underappreciated.

do you like your wallet?: Yes! I do! I found it years ago at a thrift store and it was just perfect for me. It’s black with a pretty metal thing with engraved flowers on it. It zips closed AND there’s a coin pouch inside. And it’s the kind that folds in half rather than the kind that looks like a clutch purse which I’m really glad about because the clutch purse shaped ones seem to almost never be quite the right size - either too big or too small and sometimes the latch breaks so then it just flops open. :P

what’s the last thing you ate? sour dough bread

did you buy any new clothes last weekend? um.... no. But i did this last Friday cuz I had to pick up some things from Walmart and I impulse bought a $10 dress that looked comfy and light weight and casual and I can wear it on days when I don’t want to wear pants. I didn’t have a good dress for days like that before.

what’s the last sporting event you watched? uh...... i don’t. Unless my friend showing me a two minute compilation clip of the danish (i think?) sport of jumping over rivers with a pole counts. or unless watching super junior perform counts.

what is your favorite flavor of popcorn? butter + salt or white cheddar

who’s the last person you sent a text to? real texting it was a mom I babysit for. But more recently than that I was messaging blue (musicdramalove) on tumblr.

ever go camping? my family used to go camping a lot - like at least once a year. But we haven’t for several years now since all my siblings and I are adults now. I think I might’ve gone with friends a couple years ago though. idk.

do you take vitamins? nope. If I get sick, I drink a looooooot of orange juice.

do you go to church every sunday? yeah

do you have a tan? not right now. hopefully I will by the end of summer (if not June)

do you prefer chinese or pizza? chinese (but pizza’s good too)

do you drink soda through a straw? not unless I order it at a restaurant and it’s in a glass. But that’s rare. I usually order water or sometimes a cocktail.

what color socks do you usually wear? I have a set that’s cream, a couple greys, and white, and I have a set that’s cream, grey and light pink.

do you ever drive above the speed limit? heck yeah. Usually I keep it to about 5-10 above. But it also depends on what streets I’m on.

what terrifies you? Failing at working a career job or living a miserable life or being alone forever with no one to take care of me when I’m sick.

how do you like your coffee? with a big scoop of hot chocolate powder and quite a bit of half and half. sometimes I forego the chocolate powder but my preference is to have it.

favorite pair of shoes? oooh..... I love my shoes. I have so many that I like. um... okay I’m gonna say it’s this one pair of brown heels I have. They look kinda like leather, orangey-brown, 4in tall heel, and they’re almost like ankle boots because the material goes to just below my ankle. They look amazing with skinny jeans.

time you normally get up? mm..... somewhere between 8 and 9 I guess if I wake up naturally. But I have to get up at 6:15 for work and 7am on days when I have church bc I’m head of nursery (but church is at 10am and online cuz quarantine)

sunrise or sunsets? hm.... I guess sunset bc it sets behind the mountains and it’s gorgeous.

how many blankets on your bed? rn 1 really light one cuz summer’s basically here.

describe your kitchen plates? white with a red and grey design on them with a red border on the edge

describe your kitchen at the moment? currently a mess bc things are being moved around and sorted and everything is everywhere. Other than that, it’s got a sink, fridge, oven, dishwasher, you know, the uszh.

do you have a favorite alcoholic drink? mm.... right now I guess my go to is a moscato wine. I think that’s my favorite thing right now. You can call me a wimp but hey it’s a step up from Mike’s hard mango punch. I also really like mules.

what color is your car? silver. and it annoys me bc it looks like every other unimpressionable unremarkable unmemorable car out there :p

favorite job you’ve had? my babysitting job for a neighborhood family. I’ve been babysitting them for about 7 years now and I have been with them for two of their kids’ births and I’ve gotten to watch them grow up and develop personalities and learn about life and it has been such a fun experience and blessing to me.

how did you get your biggest scar? okay so I don’t know about biggest, but the one that I’ve probably had the longest and is still clearly visible is one that’s on my foot. It’s about a cm long and is about an inch or so in from the base of my second toe on my right foot. I got it when I was... I think a sophomore in high school when my family visited my bro and sis-in-law out of state for Thanksgiving. I went to grab a bottle of sparkling apple cider out of the fridge but, in the process of grabbing it or moving something aside or something, the bottle of sparkling cider fell out of the fridge onto the tile floor right next to my foot and SHATTERED. I was frozen in shock. Didn’t know what to do. Felt embarrassed and felt bad about the broken bottle and mess. I didn’t even realize until my mom and sis-in-law were cleaning up the floor around me that there was a small shard of glass somewhat embedded in my foot. I don’t remember feeling any pain from it. I think I was probably still in shock. But I still have the scar.

I can't sleep

Anyway, might as well share some thoughts

So what's going through my mind

Well I just received a text from someone I never thought would text me(it's 2:36am) and I tried to be witty but these days I never know what my peers think and my side it's gold banter . I know I'm overthinking but it's been a personality trait. So I've been thinking about my sexual orientation, I'm straight as hell but I do see myself falling in love with a girl cause girls are so cool 😭 but my body says different, so yeah I'm hetero I guess

Anyway, the economy's really bad yeah. My country will not be spared by Rona and I have a lot of anxiety about that

Quarantine, that's been cool, I feel like I've changed so much and I feel like finally after all this, is when I can see if I've changed truly changed and I'm unsure if old insecure sad me will wave a middle finger at me like bitch you thought

Reason 4 why I can't sleep, fantasizing about falling in love, my brain is on overdrive with this shit. I read somewhere to think happy thoughts before you sleep and I tried but like my brain do be trying to give me the full experience and I can't sleep

so that's some bullshit

Oh I'm about to start my finals soon and I'm not panicking I feel okay like I can handle but also shitting myself. I'll just pray and hope for the best.

Two days ago, I went shopping with my mom. It had been a very long time since I went with her. It made me very happy to do that with her. (since I live in a different city I usually go with my friends, @le-rire-des-etoiles I’ll always remember when you shut the curtain closed while saing “HIDE” xD It was so true !!!

Wow I’ve got like 4 ppl that came up to my mind rn... Which one should I chose :3 I’ll start with the first one that appeared to me. She has long brown hairs (she’ll never do anything to them I tried to convince her to die them in green for a night with a perfectly nice hair coloring which didn’t last more that one shampoo but I’m still trying xD). She has some rectangular glasses because she doesn’t see very well with her brown eyes. She’s kinda small (smaller than me and I consider myself as a Hobbit xD), but as we say, everything small is cute! She’s very energic, she works in a school with some small children. She’s passionate about everything she does, which goes from friends, to work, parties and family. But still, when she has an opinion, it’s almost impossible to make her changer her mind or even accept you have a different opinion, but it’s almost always on un-important subjects so it’s not a big deal. She’s very friendly and a very good cook too, even if shes kinda desperate that I can’t really make decisions, and I really love her.

So like. I have a billion conflicting views of Taylor on my dash right now and as a conservative homeschooler (not by choice) I have barely listened to or know much of Taylor herself minus "I hate this song cause it's overplayed" and "this song is actually pretty good!" So I'm pretty lost wandering around my dashboard and trying to make sense of it all. Would you mind giving me the lowdown of your specific opinion?

okay so keep in mind i have a very very biased opinion that has only begun to change and mature in the last couple of years because for most of my life i was like “taylor can do no wrong!!!!!”

overall i am a fan of taylor and if i were to ever make it in the music industry i would want to model myself after her and specifically after her relationship with her fans. she donates to their gofundmes and sends notes and packages (there was the whole swiftmas thing a few years ago) and shows up in the most unexpected ways when she finds out what’s going on in their lives. i love the free meet and greets she does after concerts (people from her team go through the crowds and move people closer to the stage and pick out people who have never met her that are dressed up and invite them backstage after the show for food and a hangout with taylor) and a girl i know was actually chosen by her mom at the 1989 world tour to join taylor’s family in like the very front pit area and i think that’s so cool to have that kind of relationship with her fans. did i cry when taylor followed me on tumblr three years ago???? absolutely. and i didn’t shut up about it for months.

she’s the artist who inspired me to sing and to write songs and now that’s what i’m going to school for and making my career. she’s the artist whose music has pulled me out of some really bad places and taken me to better ones. there’s this song called clean???? when she gave her clean speech and sang it at the 1989 world tour i sobbed so hard that the two girls in front of me turned around and asked if i was okay. i will always be grateful for the impact her music has had on me and how it has influenced me. she’s my music role model.

now that being said, i don’t agree with everything that she has done. i wish she was more vocal in politics and human rights issues and spoke out more with her beliefs i think she said once that she doesn’t want to influence anyone bc it’s her saying it and they think they have to agree???? but idk i think in this political climate and the turmoil that is in the world rn you have to use your platform to fight for change being neutral isn’t an option and if you’re not outraged then you’re not paying attention. i do see her side to it bc people (”swifties” - there’s a difference between a taylor fan and a swiftie in my opinion) tend to follow what she says blindly and put her on a pedestal to the point of ignoring that she has ever done wrong. i wish she didn’t use feminism only when it was important to her. i wish she went to the women’s march. i wish her feminism wasn’t so white. i don’t even know what to make of the whole kanye thing (i don’t really agree with her but i don’t really agree with kim either idk man) and i wish she didn’t try to play the obvious victim card you know what i mean??? she made that statement about how she never consented to being called “that bitch” or whatever or that music video and i totally get it but why didn’t you say that from the beginning???? when people bring up these points against her i can’t really say anything bc they’re right she’s not an angel and she’s not perfect and she can do better in my opinion.

that narrative of “oh she has a lot of boyfriends” and “if you date her she’ll dump you and write a song” is so boring and so tired i just roll my eyes when people bring that up bc like???? she’s lived almost half her life in the spotlight and she dated like a normal twenty-something would and she was basically crucified for it. there are actual criticisms you can have of her and point out but if you choose to bring up boyfriends it’s like. what are you even doing. same with the “she’ll sue you” joke bc i admire her for going through that sexual assault trial and counter suing for $1 just to show women everywhere that they can stand up for themselves and don’t have to be the assaulter’s victim forever.

i used to call myself a swiftie and i don’t anymore bc on the whole a lot of them just blindly idolize her and think she can do no wrong. taylor swift is a human being and some people like her and some people don’t and that’s fine but i think you have to be aware of issues on all sides. i stepped back last year a bit like i didn’t post about her on my main blog that much anymore bc i felt kinda guilty like???? i didn’t support her 100% in everything she said and did and according to the swifties that made me a fake fan and i didn’t deserve to call myself a fan and whatever. but what i’ve come to realize over the past year or so is that you can still be a fan of someone or something that’s problematic as long as you stay critical and recognize when and where they’ve done wrong. i still believe taylor is one of the best songwriters of this generation and we’ve seen her lyrics prove themselves over and over again in songs like all too well, mine, clean, this love, long live, enchanted, dear john (just the entirety of the speak now album tbh homegirl wrote it entirely by herself at 19/20) and so many others. and i think she’s an amazing performer like her shows go hard!!!!! i will probably always love her music and admire her artistry. but going forward i still have to stay aware of her faults (bc she does have the guys!!!) and form my own opinions outside of the ones that fans have invented of her and outside of the ones that media has invented out of her.

So there's literally no possible way I can win immunity - one of my two friends in the game exiled himself from the challenge and that leaves me next to be picked off from winning immunity along with Aro, LA, and maybe Allie too tbh. It's basically Allie/Lexi/Willow's comp to lose at this point and there's literally not a single thing I can do to give myself any edge to win at all. Out of nine people competing in this challenge only one person is working with me, and in a challenge that's essentially a popularity contest, 2/9 gets you nothing. I'm willing to accept the fact that Mitchell and I are completely screwed, and it's not helping that Mitchell is quite actually ostracizing himself from the rest of the people. I'm honestly praying he's hiding another idol from me at this point.

Okay so, in Touchy Subjects I tied with Johnny in the category "If you could not win the game, who would you most like to see win". And I'm very confused by this because I literally thought I wasn't a threat to win at all. Johnny I understand, he's the one controlling everyone, he's the one calling the nuTemoana shots, and so if he made it to the end he would win no doubt. But me on the other hand, I haven't exactly done much, like I've tried to make good social bonds with everyone, and been honest with everyone, but yeah other then that I'm kinda confused how I got the majority in that category. Onto another topic though. I never thought I would ever say this, but I'm actually pretty damn excited to go to tribal tonight. I have individual immunity, so basically I 100% made it to single digit placements, which is amazing!! Anyway onto the vote. It's going to go great because Johnny thinks Allie is going home, but in actuality Johnny is going home. I guess I sorta convinced Allie, Lexi, and Ryan to split the votes on Zak and Aro. So the vote should go 4-3-3, if all goes according to plan. I'm really hoping this works bc Johnny wont expect it, and it'll get the biggest threat out of this game. I really like Johnny though so I hope he won't be too mad and that we can be friends once this is all over.
