hi I know I shouldn’t have to say this but just because I’ve started opening up about the plural thing now doesn’t mean that I just randomly decided to have a horrible disorder. There have been years of pain and confusion and hurt and failing to find anything else that makes sense that have led me to finally accepting this part of myself. I did not start talking about my experiences to take up space that isn’t mine, I just wanted to share what I was going through with others.

u guys only know what I want u to see, which is only like. The tip of the iceberg, because it’s a very personal thing that I don’t need to share the gritty details of. you do not know everything based off my posts. I’m just here to share and if someone understands or relates that’s a plus yknow :(

Jason never wanted to see his family die again. He could still hear the replace- Tim’s screams. He could still feel Damian’s blood coating his hands as he desperately tried to put pressure on the wound, could see Dick’s wide yet unseeing eyes.

Everyone had died, except for him. He was alone.

Then he and Danny made a plan.

Danny had been his friend for a few years, and knew loss as intimately as he did. Jason had held his friend as he sobbed not too long ago over his clone/daughter Ellie. He knew that sometimes, you couldn’t come back.

Instead, he and Danny promised each other that if they could do it again, they’d be better. They would save their family. They wouldn’t let themselves loose everything again. They just wished they could do it again.

They were both so drunk that neither of them heard Desiree’s whispered “So you wish it, so it shall be.” Neither of them saw her exchange a glance with Clockwork.

Next Morning, Jason woke up to his phone ringing off the hook.

“What!”

“Jason, it’s Danny. You need to look in the mirror or at a calendar or something!”

Jason checked the date on his phone, and stared.

It was two months before he left the league. As he surveyed himself, everything was the same as the past except his jacket. It was the only thing that was the same. Wait, Danny!

“Danny, what happened with you? Why the hell is this happening?”

Danny looked around his old room. The only thing that wasn’t fitting with the past was his phone, which he had woken up with clutched in his hand. He could hear his parents downstairs. He looked like he did before. Then, he noticed a familiar green sticky note on his mirror.

Here is your chance to save them. Your consort can help you.

Only you two shall remember, but your abilities remain.

Danny clutched the note.

“ I think Clockwork just gave us a second chance.”

outside of just that i feel like you could take it a couple different ways:

just a straight up au, no fears or anything just micheal the goblin king and gerry the fantasy loving goth. literally just the plot of labyrinth but dropping these two into sarah and jareth’s places.

more of a fusion, the fears do exist but the labyrinth is either a part of the spiral or just flat out Is the spiral in this universe. bonus points for having gerry learn about the labyrinth and it’s monstrous king from either meeting/reading a statement from sarah herself about a certain red leather bound spiral leitner

i don’t necessarily want roier to start advertising he’s good at pvp or anything (bc it’s very handy to have hidden up his sleeve just incase) but i think he should get his own custom weapon for the fun of it

like imagine you just see him carrying around a custom sword or something and everyone’s like ??? where’d u get that tf? and roier is just like “man idk i found it somewhere” but he got it in some cool way and just kept it to himself and his family

bc the only customized (aka qsmp admin made) weapon that the general public knows about rn is etoiles’ code sword, which he got from defeating the code like 18 times, so that means most likely roier had to have gotten his from something similar but how?? he doesn’t pvp?? (spoiler: yes he does and he’s good at it)

The more I think about it, the more confident I am that it’s only LP!Marty that has the chicken / coward complex.

If you think about it, TP!Marty has no reason to worry about being called cowardly because he’s very strong, vocal, and upstanding. He knows he’s strong, but he worries about being insignificant, inferior, and “no good.” Red and I have talked about how Marty has absolutely gotten into fights for Doc before, and we know that the boy has an attitude about him from canon. He’s had to fend for himself; of course he’s capable of stepping up and defending himself and others when necessary.

LP!Marty on the other hand… we don’t really know much about him. However, I’d imagine growing up with someone like LP!George as your dad, someone who’s known for being incredibly courageous, and with siblings like LP!Dave (with his high-powered office job in his early 20s) and LP!Linda (with her social butterfly heartbreaker reputation) would cast a very long shadow.

Maybe that’s the root of LP!Marty’s insecurities instead, and it’s another thing that TP!Marty, my default Marty, can never understand.

walking people through all my interactive AR experiences at AWE has made me realize that I literally do not need to care about anyone who approaches my work with disrespect

I guided hundreds of people through portals to other worlds, dandelion forests, carnival games we could all play together, toys and collaborative paintings and just pure magic - and 99% of them clearly experienced joy and awe unlike anything they’d ever seen before…

and the small handful of people who still managed to be negative after all of that were clearly just unhappy individuals who had some kind of personal issues entirely unrelated to anything I was doing or sharing with them.

one guy was literally mad that our marketing wasn’t good enough on our business card. like… that is so vastly unimportant. I’m just here to bring people joy and show them something new - if someone can’t let that in, it’s extremely incredibly not my problem.

#auropost #our cards were fine btw they have our name #and a qr code that goes to our website which has contact links #there were like maybe 2 guys out of over 200 people #who clearly had ego issues and either loved to hear themselves talk (while recording themselves)#or who just seemed to think they were more important than everyone else and deserved special treatment #i’ve been so proud of how i’m learning to handle people though #all i do is guide them back to play over and over and over again #and if they don’t follow me i talk to them and learn more about them #and help them if they are confused and ignore them if they are rude #but literally it was like only 3 people the entire time who were even slightly negative #which is incredible considering the sheer volume of demos we did #everyone else was so happy and willing to play and create #and it gave me so much hope

my university has a clothing co-op where they keep gender affirming clothes, business clothes, athletic clothes, etc… before break I put in a request for a binder my size bc mine is over 5 years old and is very worn. I finally was able to go in and pick it up only to be deadnamed on the sticky note. I’ve been signing off exclusively with my nickname through our emails so it was,,, something.

I think what bothers me about tim stans is that he DID go through it a lot but they try to make it somebody else’s fault every time; usually so tim can like. Yell at them or be justified in how much he self isolated when the truth is that it was very ugly and messy and there was a lot of fucked up feelings with nowhere to go which is partially why he dipped so thoroughly in the first place (mind you he wasn’t like. I keep seeing this term ‘biological male’ being thrown around. There are lots of reasons why this is an innacurate and unhelpful description, but I’d like to examin just this term for a moment.

What exactly is a ‘biological male?’ The definition of biology is “the physiology, behavior, and other qualities of a particular organism or class of organisms.“ So let’s brake that down a bit. In refference to humans that means organ structures and chemicals that run those organs. So when talking about biological sexes, we’re probably referencing a certain set of average characteristics shared by people with XX chromosomes, XY chromosomes, or other sets of chromosomes which are part of natural human variation like XXY, XYY, XXX, XXXXY, X, XXXXXX, and XXXY (learned about those in biology class. It’s really cool how much more diversity there is to human biology than you generally think about. If we’re basing sex off of DNA, there are indeed WAY more than two sexes).

Now the way that any of those sets of DNA (which are known as genotypes) translate to how the body looks and works (phenotypes), is by making chemicals. Those chemicals are what build all the organs and keep them running the way they do. DNA isn’t the only thing deciding how much of each chemical there is though. Environmental factors like the food we eat, medicine we take, other organisms living inside us like bacteria and viruses, chemicals we absorb from the environment, and even stress massively impact body chemistry, often completely overriding DNA. So sometimes you might have the genotype for one thing and end up with a different phenotype. Like people who were born with tall genes but end up short as adults because during the time they were developing they didn’t have access to adequate nutrition. Their DNA might say one thing but in reality, they turned out as something else. The short person with tall genes is still short, regardless of what their DNA says.

Phenotype can also be directly changed by outside forces, like getting a limb blown off in an explosion, getting your ears pierced, or having surgery. These overide both DNA and body chemistry. A person with the DNA and chemicals to have two arms but had one arm chopped off is phenotypically a one armed person.

When reffering to different sexes, we’re usually talking about generalized groupings of phenotype, like gential organs, bone structure, musculature, hair growth, and fat distribution. These phenotypes are generally determined by chemicals called hormones. Just like any other chemicals, these too are impacted by environmental factors like what we eat and what medicines we take. So when someone takes a medicine that alters their hormone levels, that alters their phenotype. Just like how growing up with healthy foods and vitamins can help kids develop strong and healthy bodies, medicines like puberty blockers and hormone replacement therapy lead to bodies developing differently. These phenotypes can of course also be altered through surgery by deconstructing and reconstructing different parts of the body like genitalia and facial bone structure. By changing the chemicals and organ structures they have changed the biology.

So what is a ‘biological male?’ A biological male would presumably be someone with the general phenotypes of the group called males. If someone does not have those phenotypes, it wouldn’t make sense to call them a biological male. So according to the definition of biology, a trans woman whose physiology, behavior, and other qualities align with those exhibited by females is not a biological male. She is a biological female.
