At the temple, there was young boy looking up at a creature. The creature has dark red and has horns. He looks at the boy who is carrying a bird in his hands.

"Wow! Are you kaju?" He asked the spirit residing the temple. The creature thought he was talking to the statue but the boy keeps approaching making the creature blink. "But you don't like that statue..you're not wearing any robes. Anyway! My name is Kisho and this is Eito."

And little does he know, the child is special.

"Ow! What the heck? Kanne?" He asked the oni who is crossing his arms and scoffs after bonking the human boy on the head, "What do you think, you brat? You go off and fighting some cursed spirits, again? What did I tell ya?"

"Huh? You said that these guys been haunting people in this area and you look like you need help."

"Who says that I need help?!"

"Apparently you don't say it but looks like you do!" Said Kisho while Eito chirps. The spirit that looks like an oni is named Kanne, an apparition of this temple. He groans, "Still...you should be careful! I even see your so-called videos from the iPad?"

"Oh! So now you use a iPad?!" Kisho said. Kanne scoffs, "Well that damn spirit, Reiki says I need to get with the times. Moron is happy that some humans are coming to make videos so he can be famous. Something about haunting videos! Why do humans are so happy going into a haunted place?!"

Kisho grins to which Kanne groans, "Forget what I said." He laughs, "Anyway! I need to get to school, see ya Kanne!" He said, waves leaving the temple making the spirit huffs.

Today is going to be new day. What could go wrong?

idk who needs to hear this but if you're a writer looking for a webcomic artist and the best offer you can come up with is a 50/50 split "after gaining revenue", then that's literally asking for free work just with extra steps.

like first of all (and i'm sure people are gonna fight me on this) writing a webcomic and drawing a webcomic is not a 50/50 split, a scene that took you a half hour to write will take them hours to draw so it's literally more like 30/70

but also even IF your comic gains revenue, it's still not gonna pay for that labor, there are comic projects out there that have been going on for upwards of 10 years and beyond who are still maybe only making like $30/month on their patreon... and you only wanna pay them $15 of that?

please just consider writing a novel or short stories, or doing tabletop campaigns, or pitching scripts to comic publishers, or learning to draw yourself (even if you're bad at it! webcomics are allowed to grow and evolve in their art!), or doing RP, or doing anything that will get your ideas and stories out there without being at the expense of a whole ass other human being doing the brunt of the labor for free

no matter how dedicated you are to an idea or how convinced you are that it's truly a unique one that's worth working on, none of that will pay for the labor and time and efforts of people who you're asking to work for free to make your dream a reality. They have their own dreams that they're working on too.

That's why you have to sidestep any humiliation you feel when the baby makes a hunger cry. You desperately desire to take the baby off to another room, but unluckily for you, Homelander decided that Ashley's office is the perfect spot to have lunch. Knowing you would have no choice, you show him exactly what he came here to see.

Forced to sit and let Homelander watch as the infant fed on both sides. When they are satisfied, you cover up your revealed chest, trying to ignore the wild gaze coming from across the room. You turn away and massage your aching breasts, still full of milk.

Figured since I talk abt it sm I'd explain a bit abt our AU !

SETTING : Think endless deserts, worn-out wooden towns, and horses. Most towns are poor and struggling to make money whilst also fighting the rampant amount of thieves and outlaws. In recent years a new company called Meeple has been offering tech that seems to be the only solution to the bandits. If your town can't afford it... you might as well count yourself as doomed. CHARACTERS OJ - The leader of our main Bandits! Cursed to be born of glass, he was always looked at as weak. His one goal in life is to change that by becoming an infamous bandit, then no one will ever pity him again. He's overly confident knowing his career choice, havocked with the worst of luck- and fire somehow always seems to follow him. Burning all his past behind him. Very self-conscious about his broken glass. Yin-Yang - Part of OJ's bandit group. They can duel-weild a gun, and OJ is always stealing his hat to hide his crack. He tends to cause trouble, but is incredibly loyal. Light-Bulb - Also part of OJ's bandit group. She's a bit like an annoying younger sister for OJ, having been with OJ the longest. Very loyal!

Dr. Fizz AKA The Hissing Bandit - Not too long time ago the most infamous, feared bandit in the west was the Hissing Bandit. Not much was known about him, despite the fact you would hear an angry hissing noise before his perfect-shot! Now Fizz is trying his very best to to retire, by pretending to be a wandering doctor. It's a hard thing to do when you're stuck with Paper's group... But he can't help but want to stick with him. (Both are unaware of his past) Paper - The sherrif! And a childhood friend of OJ. He's lost his home, and now his childhood friend to bandits- But at least he has Silver and Fizz on his side.

Silver - Banished from his family for being spoiled, Silver-Spoon is not at all made for this whole 'adventure' thing. Still he has no where else to go but stick with the sheriff. He has ties with Meeple, and tends to make Fizz the most nervous out of the group. Paintbrush - Bad history with OJ. Neither of them like eachother, and as such are always arguing! In charge of their own group, and work for Meeple. Bow - Part of Paintbrush's group. She likes to sit up in Paintbrush's hair. Their deadliest member as she loves to claw and bite! Candle - Also part of Paintbrush's group. The actual one in charge really. She keeps the group from falling apart. Cobs - ?????? - Well liked for founding Meeple and it's tech. Hi! My name is Sea, and I have an unhealthy obsession with taking on large community projects! This is my Final Fantasy XIV Community Compendium, focusing on linking as many XIV writing/roleplaying discords, forums, events, free companies and resources as I can get my hands on. While the inspired by and predominately tailored for roleplayers, it should have something for anyone looking to engage creatively with the game in some capacity. ⭐

If you'd like to simply check out what the Compendium is all about and miss my waffling below, any of the links on this post will take you there — but this is a handy one! A reblog also goes a huge way to increase my reach and find communities/resources; you're also welcome to share this post with people not on Tumblr who might be looking for communities/resources or have something to add.

Why a compendium, Sea?

In my opinion, the way people engage with fandom and communities has changed. It was once extremely common for people to hop onto the XIV Roleplaying Forum or find people looking for contact on Tumblr, but most of these resources have shifted to Discord. While Discord is great for keeping a community when you have it, the isolation of these communities into hidden, secular spaces doesn’t do a lot to help people find them in the first place and creates an air of loneliness/disconnect for new players or people looking to find specific communities. I don’t believe that a person should necessarily be a part of x amount of servers to find the one that suits them, nor that all communities should necessarily be on Discord — or just plain hard to find. However, while this is currently the standard, I’d like to try and help these communities be fostered and seen in a place accessible to basically anyone with an internet connection. If one community has benefited from this document, then I have done my part.

This is my monthly drive to showcase the Compendium but find new things to add! A lot of the below is already on the document, but I split communities/resources into four distinct spaces:

Large-scale community discords such as the XIV Reddit Discord, Hunts, GPOSE promotions and broad-space roleplay servers that harbour a large number of people and are publicly available to all. These may not have an RP focus but will assist in other aspects of the game.

Free Company & community-focused servers. E.G. an Ishgardian Roleplay server whose mission is to foster a community for Ishgardian characters; an EU server created to help players struggling with timezones. This also includes event discords such as fight clubs, markets, cafes, etc.

Friend/casual servers that have a roleplay element but may be just a group of people looking to find others to hang out and do content with.

Miscellaneous. Likely to be less community servers and more resources such as lore compilations, how-to guides, gposing techniques, boosting blogs, etc. These may get their own dedicated section later.

Personal/Single-Character LFC ads.

Content intended for or can be used for bullying, harassment and OOC gossip. E.g. ‘Secrets’ blogs, receipts, callout posts, etc. This does not include IC tabloid blogs used to generate RP.

Communities that do not have an RP/writing element (large-scale exempt).

Anything I find personally distasteful or goes against the spirit of this project.

FAQ.

I want to put my community on the compendium but we have an application process. Is this okay?

Yes! Just note somewhere in your application that's a requirement. The only thing that is mandatory for the Compendium is that you must be open to new members or have a public-facing/accessible facet. There's no point advertising a community if no one can join it in some way!

I want to put my community on the compendium but I only have x number of members —

Also totally okay! People don't start with large communities. Activity is a must but, whether your server has two or two thousand members, if you're looking for new people to join, I'd love to help you find people.

I want to put my community on the compendium but I worry its too niche?

Okay, and? If your Eorzean Fishing Alliance has four members but you roleplay every second weekend, I still want to know about it.

What resources/communities can I add if I'm not the owner of them?

Mutual consent is extremely important to me, so anything that isn't a large-scale community OR a publicly accessible resource must be endorsed by the owner/admin/moderators in order to be added to the compendium. I operate under the assumption that a resource posted to a public space (tumblr, googledocs, youtube, etc) is open to all. A large-scale community is one with a significant member count or openly advertises itself as being accessible to everyone for whatever purpose it serves. If in doubt, please get in touch with me. I'm happy to contact your community owners for you!

How active does a community need to be?

If you find a community has not been active in about two/three months, send me a message and I'll take a look at it. Communities have ebbs and flows, especially event spaces that may take hiatuses depending on member interest/life events. I'm not strict in my implementation provided a space isn't dead. If a link or anything is broken, absolutely contact me about that.

Imagine the Vees all trying to get with Veader but all think they're the only one. Maybe they then find out about the others trying to get with Veader and all agree that they wouldn't fight over it but they're now all in silent competition with eachother.

Imagine Veader actually sleeps with the Vees but they all thinking they're the first to do so. Maybe they try and keep it a secret and find their competition funny since they're obviously the clear winner.

Imagine the Vees find out that Veader actually got with all of them but they all thinking that their relationship with Veader is different. Maybe they all think that Veader is just using the others for sex while Veader obviously favours them and wants to take their relationship to the next step but is obviously too afraid of media backlash to do so.

Imagine being Veader and knowing that all of this is going on around you while you're one your 11th date this week that the Vees will tell eachother is just allied hangouts, business meetings or overly exaggerated RP foreplay. Maybe Veader does have a crush on one of them. Maybe Veader thinking this is their own special brand of hell and redemption is looking pretty good right now.

Jack still treats you like a lady, he's by no means used to being treated with such kindness and thus sometimes appears to be awkward. He can tell you have no ill intentions, your color is one of his favorites.

RAIDEN who cheers on when you fight, he loves strong women, both romantically and platonically, if Thrud is his love then you're his unofficial daughter, he adores that you're a sweetheart that can pack a punch if needed. He's an enabler for both good and bad stuff, so kinda trust him. You'll be fine..in some cases.

OKITA who's your enabler for violence, we ALL saw how blood thirsty he is. Okita doesn't really care, you're his fighting buddy and was smiling ear to ear when he heard you killed some minor gods, they were bad gods no? Then it's fine, they didn't need to live anyways.

ADAM who also finds you amusing and somewhat ironic, I mean...a devil child and redemption? But he knows to not judge a book by its cover, he still finds it funny though. He also finds ironic that the "half daughter of the devil" is the kinder then any "benevolent" god in that audience.

LU BU who is now acts as your semi defender, he takes "she was in a silly mood" to the max. Lu Bu is violent by mature and very much judges a book by its cover, he saw how sweet you were and decided you were weak. And then you murked a few minor gods because "I don't like how they talk". He feels neutral about the whole " I believe humans can be redeemed".

LEONIDAS who's another violence enabler, he's the spartan king what do you expect? Leonidas says you would've been a "great spartan" and adores your kind little self. He lifted you in the air and cheered when he heard about you killing off random insignificant gods.

The Krimzon Guard was a stable place to work if you only wanted to make a living and have a home. There were battles sometimes, yes, and people died to the ever encroaching metal head threat, but you could keep yourself fed, and a family member as well if that's all you were looking to do. Unfortunately, that wasn't all he wanted.

Israel had morals, standards to what he was willing and unwilling to put up with. The horrid acts that the Baron was willing to do to further ensure his rule made him sick. A shaky deal with the enemy to make himself and his guard look like they were putting up a good fight was pathetic, and he'd had enough of it. Hannah was off working and making her own money, and most of his money went to keeping them in a home, so she'd be fine if he left. Today he was going to incite one large act of rebellion.

Making his way into the prisons late at night, he moved with a purpose. Walking into the cells with his armor still on, looking to each of the cells and the individuals inside.

"Back up." He said to the woman in the first cell. Typical procedure for the time being. He looked down at the control panel and opened it, standing before the woman now, staring her down for a moment before slowly reaching down to a pistol attached to his hip and pulling it free.

"I hear you're pretty handy with these." He said softly, spinning the pistol in his hand for a second before tossing it onto the ground in front of her. "Release the others, we're leaving." He instructed, turning and taking his rifle off his back now, going to the next cell over.

I do want to say it is kind of terrifying from an RP standpoint how much q!BBH has devolved as a character.

When I mean devolved, I mean he has completely thrown away what little morals he had that defined him.

I made a joke about it but it is quite unsettling hearing him before Purgatory. While he was certain that he'd hurt his friend if he had to, he was still unwilling to revel in it. Comparing himself to humans who succumb to bloodlust, raising himself above it.

But now here he is, boldly proclaiming that he enjoys tourmenting the Red team, that he is finally cutting loose as though this wasn't a mission to bring his kids back but a fun little murder trip (now this isn't me trying to say his main goal isn't bringing his kids back but i'm pointing out how it conflicts with his bloodlust).

We've never seen q!BBH this meanspirited and vicious against the other islanders. Him taunting q!Slimecicle making it clear that he doesn't respect him and him laughing while stabbing q!Philza with a chainsaw.

He's completely fallen from what little morality he still had, the little sliver of morality of him just doing this for the eggs and not from any kind of malicious intention.

It's not like all of his destructive acts against Red either have been particularly helpful in winning either, some of them were with that mindset but some of it really just ended up being a distraction.

Now this isn't me saying q!BBH has completely lost his wits, cc!BBH confirming that during the tie situation, q!BBH was playing a lot more smart but he definitely has gotten more sloppy in his approach.

What is more particularly scary to me is the aftermath, I don't think q!BBH is gonna able to just switch his mindset back to normal or at least not completely. The only way for him to ever go back is if he ends up feeling guilt which...we know will not happen considering his character.

He has to deal with the fact that he enjoyed hurting his friends, that he had fun. You can't just switch back from that mindset once you're so deep into it especially when you once thought finding enjoyement in it would be the last thing you would do.

He is gonna have to look at himself when he starts reminiscing fondly of him hurting the ones he loved for what he thought once was a noble cause. A noble cause that devolved quickly into pure bloodthirst.

He is fighting for his kids, yes, but it didn't just come at the cost of his friends happiness but also at the cost of who he was.

Okay so, a lot of this is going to be based off an rp between me and a friend you know who you are but I feel it's close enough to his character in S4, so bare with me

Reiner took you with him to Marley by force so now you're kinda stuck with him

If you can forgive him after the whole Marco/traitor thing, I would then this will be no problem for you

He's super serious in government meetings and anything pertaining to Titans and Paradis, but when with you he's anything but

Sometimes he needs to be held and told he's okay, sometimes he wants to take you out for a walk, sometimes he just needs your presence with him but don't talk to him...it depends

I feel like he would tell you what's going on within the government and what's happened over at Paradis, even though he's not supposed to and you both could be killed for it

He only does that so you're in the loop and are safe. Although, since you'd be from Paradis, I doubt the government wouldn't make good use of you.

Reiner would do anything to make sure they wouldn't send you back over to Paradis, or make you fight again. Obviously this can only extend so far, unless you gain the favor of Zeke. But that's a discussion for another day.

Reiner would still like some PDA, or just being semi clingy in general, as you're one of his only lights of happiness. But he wants the PDA to be restricted to hand holding in front of Gabi and the others.

He's going to lean on you a lot more in Marley than he ever did in Paradis, and it might be a little overwhelming, maybe annoying, but he's a broken man and is just trying to make you happy while also trying to be happy himself.

He can get jealous pretty easily - he's always worried about losing you. So when he sees you with Zeke once you've gained his favor, he's going to start comparing himself and the older man. He's going to lash out at you and Zeke for it, but will really only beg for forgiveness from you. Please show him the wonderful ways of communicating problems.

When you're alone and you grab his tits chest, he might give you a confused look before letting you continue to mess with him. He doesn't understand your fixation with his chest, but if it makes you happy, they're all yours.

dragon's dogma's dlc isn't even remotely what people claim it to be

what people say: "you need to pay for fast travel! you need to pay for extra lives! you need to pay for character editing!"

the actual truth:

- you can pay for one mark location. this is an undeniable advantage, especially considering how early you're given it. the portcrystal is overpowered and i think it's the only dlc here that actually really matters

- you can pay for up to five extra lives. you can't buy more than the five dlcs, and getting wakestones is extremely, extremely easy if you want to bother to grind them. especially from the start of the game; every pawn starts with a quest where you get ⅓ of a wakestone for having them in your party for a day. if you really wanted to grind out wakestones, you could hire two fresh pawns, sit on a bench until a day passes, then dismiss the pawns and hire another pair. i don't even know why this dlc exists it's not even valuable and you can just. lose it. they're consumable. it shouldn't exist but not because it's an evil mtx, it's just weird.

- you don't need to pay to edit your character or your pawn. you can buy the art of metamorphosis for 500 RC, which you can get easily by simply playing online and having people hire your pawn, which they will do as long as you're online. I've been playing about 20 hours and have over 2000 RC, enough to buy 4 arts of metamorphosis. and even if you DON'T play online, for whatever reason, you can get RC as rare drops from enemies, so given time you can just build up a stock. in addition, following in the assumption it'll be like the first game, you'll be able to edit your arisen and pawn after entering ng+, which is probably a lot more investment than just fighting some cyclopes for RC.

- to discuss the other dlcs. you can buy RC directly, but there's not much reason to so far unless you want glasses or to change your pawn inclination.

- you can buy a makeshift gaol key, which will break you out of jail once, or you can buy one from a number of traveling merchants for like 1000 gold, which is a pittance

- you can buy the pawn inclination change items. these are more expensive to get with RC, clocking in at 2k RC, but inclination isn't really very necessary to change, and certainly not often.

- you can buy a pack of 3 harpysnare smoke beacons, which... do something? they let you grab onto harpies in certain areas and ride them to other places, but i don't know how useful this actually is in general, and I'm pretty sure you can just buy them from some general stores for a couple thousand gold

- you can buy a heartfelt pendant, which is a gift item that makes someone like you. the only relevance to this mechanic, as far as i know, is getting merchants to give you a discount, and for rp to have your beloved related to story events (assuming it follows the same as the first game). in the case of merchants, you can just look at their favorite items and give them Three (3) of their liked items and they'll be at max affection. in the case of your rp beloved, well, you should already care about them. you should get them what they love instead of just buying a pretty necklace. also if you want to search for every seeker token you can get the arisen's bond that way to max anyone's affection.

- you can buy a mod that changes music and sounds to be from DD1. to each their own

- you can buy a special camping kit. it's lighter than the normal kit, so it's helpful, but you can also just buy it for 6000 gold from some traders without needing to buy it.

- you can't even buy ferrystones. you don't even pay for fast travel you pay for a portable fast travel point, which still costs a very expensive ferrystone to teleport to.

- if you see the steam reviews, they're mixed. if you change the filter to only see reviews from people who have played the game for at least nine hours, that changes to mostly positive. the significant majority of negative reviews were made before even playing the game for NINE HOURS.

- there are other valid complaints about this game, this post is exclusively addressing the dlc. i will continue to defend this game because it's really really fun and I'm really annoyed at the review bombs by people who have no idea what they're talking about and are just parroting something they heard on twitter without actually knowing anything about what they're saying

- p.s. i want to be clear; i don't think microtransactions are a good thing and i genuinely believe none of these dlcs should be available as dlc, for various reasons (mostly detailed above). but the issues i have with them are generally the opposite of the issues people cry about, and i want to make clear that while there are problems with them and plenty of reasons NOT to buy the dlcs, the oft-cried reasons are misleading at best and outright false at worst

"So this is it? You're just quitting?" Grusha asked, as you hummed. The bags under your eyes had never been so prominent in your life; you let out a huge yawn, as you looked over at Grusha. You were just hanging out when you decided to tell him the news.

"Yup, I'm all done. I don't think I can do it anymore. I might battle on occasion, but...I'm kinda just...done." You admitted. You had been one of the youngest champions in the region, and with that came a lot of responsibility.

Nobody told you becoming a Champion meant that you'd be doing so much league work. You were always running around for the Chairwoman, going form gym to gym to test their strength, or even dealing with random disturbances. Free time was lost on you...hell most of your childhood and early twenties were now lost. That isn't even taking account for your team...

"You can't just quit..." Grusha grumbled, getting a bit pissed, "I thought you loved battling."

"I do...I really do but...Grusha how many gym challengers do you face every week?" You asked, turning to him.

"Maybe two a week, sometimes three. During the Treasure Hunt I can get up to ten a week." Grusha said and you hummed.

"Wanna know what I did yesterday?" You asked and he was quiet, "Seven black crystals popped up. Nemona was busy, so I had to go across half the region to take them down. Took twelve hours. My team is still sleeping." You commented.

"You took down...seven of them?" Grusha asked.

"Orders from the Chairwoman. Next week I'm going to all the gyms to fight everyone. I got a solid three days to fight all of you guys. Then the week after, I need to check in on the training camps. The chairwoman told me this morning, that tomorrow I need to deal with one of the titans that's acting up, so gotta deal with that as well." You explained. Grusha was silent for a few moments.

"What about Nemona?" Grusha asked and you shrugged.

"She's got her own things going on. Especially since she's leaving the region soon, so she can try her hand at Galar's gym challenge. Once she's gone I can only imagine the workload I'll be receiving." You said with a huff.

"What about a vacation then? Set some boundaries with the chairwoman as well. You and your team are burnt out." Grusha said; finally understanding. When he used to do snowboarding professionally, there were a few times that he debated quitting for the same reasons. He loved it, but everything got to be too much.

"Think that'll work?" You asked, turning to him.

"La Primera isn't ruthless...I don't think. She's just capable of lots of work and expects that of everyone else. She probably doesn't realize what she's doing." Grusha finally said.

"Man...she's gonna turn me into Larry 2.0 at this rate." You chuckled and Grusha groaned, hitting your side.

"Don't even joke about that." Grusha said, a bit annoyed, "I can't be seen with someone so lame."

"Whatever...fine...I'll ask her for vacation as well as work condition changes...but you're coming with." You said, as you decided you'd be doing that right now.

"Wait...why?" Grusha said, eyes widening a fraction.

"It was your idea, obviously. Now let's go!"
