Just read X-Men Forever, Issue One, so spoilers for that I guess. Kind of?

Okay, so I know Charles has had TK as a concept, but I didn’t really like the idea much. So in my head, anytime he used TK I saw it as a using-other-people’s-abilities-via-telepathy thing. Why is his TK so strong? Why is he so good at it? Where was the time when he struggled to levitate his helmet?? It gives him depth that he doesn’t work the latent TK bit of his psionic powers. I don’t like that he can just be so good at it. He’d be so different if he could just use TK. He wouldn’t have to hold back his powers all the time and be like that if he could just use TK. Maybe I’m reading into this too much.

Also, power redundancy. We can’t give everyone the Jean Grey one-two telepathy-TK power combo or it’s not unique or special anymore.

Please say someone knows what I’m saying?

(Also did anyone else find it interesting, that when he did choose to use TK, he used “cold iron” with “notes of Mysterium” or am I crazy? The whole thing reminded me of Mags so much.)

Just straight up, Roman’s gonna die.

Here’s why! So basically When Virgil put Roman to sleep he used a combination of a few spells he used all the time to make a new spell for this scenario, a sleep spell, a few others,, and a spell with a locking mechanism, to keep Roman from waking up from regular sounds and such, as well as a few more. So Ro is asleep until the spell is unlocked.

Virgil knows the two of them won’t make out of this alive, and he can’t trust Roman to play dead and not try to protect him if things go south, so Virgil makes the hard decision to put him to sleep.

But as he was putting Roman to sleep he made a mistake. Because Roman was refusing to be put to sleep and was panicking about Virgil leaving him. He’s confused and afraid but is completely against Him being separated from Virgil(the blood loss definitely wasn’t helping the situation)and he’s getting so upset and loud that Virgil is afraid that their attackers will find them. so in a moment of weakness Virgil calms Roman down by telling him that he promises be back soon to wake him up, and kisses Roman like there’s no tomorrow . Because he knows this if this is his final good bye .

But what he doesn’t know is that he has accidentally effected the spell! Now only he can wake Roman up, because he activated the locking mechanism,, and it must be via a kiss of true love! So when Virgil did cpr in the present it only half worked because Roman loved him but Virgil wasn’t doing it out of love thus allowing for him to be awake but the spell is only partially broken, So Roman is awake but it’s non permanent! And without proper intervention and the spell breaking fully, Roman will fall back to sleep, and never wake up.

So now he has to find Roman and fast, because he knows he’s running out of time to fix this. But now it’s Roman who doesn’t believe in their shared history ! And he now has to convince Roman that everything he remembered was true and that this Virgil really does love him….

before it’s too late!

Getting mobility aid while not having a diagnosis feels so weird, I feel like I’m undeserving of it in a strange way. I’ve been in pain for close to a decade, even after beginning to be taken somewhat seriously from a medical perspective and trying to get mobility aid for those days where I’m in too much pain to walk which I tend to just ‘power through’ and limp around all day in pain feels wrong. I dunno, this is just ramblings.
