i can’t believe it’s only the start of the week and we have to deal with this. it reminds me of the roseonly x peace elite thing or the mendale incident. i shouldn’t even be surprised and that’s sad in itself, that it is considered normal for fans to control things like this. so my previous post was about the 10:05 kadian for Cotti’s post and all that. people got angry, and i know both sides hate each other and wouldn’t want any association. the other camp will say, he/company is using xx’s popularity etc. so the posts got deleted and comments on certain ones are hidden.

i sort of get the “anger” and the feeling of getting betrayed from wyb fans because when wyb was announced for Cotti, they gave all out support. it even went on HS and really made a difference from the brand. but we can’t confirm it’s all so/os who brought in the money, but they definitely put the word out and made a trending topic that attracted people’s attention. so they expect the brand to be fully in their side. collabs like this tho, most likely have nothing to do with the cp or whatever. these are two independent companies. do i think cotti could have handled it better by not using 10:05? definitely. was it unprofessional? kind of.

as much as i cpn, i would rather have the boys not deal with any problems and boycott drama ( which their solos love to do btw, they love to flex that they can easily boycott a brand unless they give them what they think they deserve). i guess they didn’t know just how sensitive solo fans ( not just wyb or xz solo fans— this is in general ) can be. now they do. i hope fans don’t boycott the brand, but i’m seeing some of them posting photos of a different coffee chain. lol. just another day in the toxic c-ent fandom circle. 💀💀💀

At this point i’m starting to think Vlatko was planted into the head-coach position by US Soccer to ruin Megan Rapinoe, Becky Sauerbrunn, Alex Morgan, Kelley O’Hara, Alyssa Naeher, Christen Press, and Tobin Heath’s potential last major tournament cycle because of how that generation of players specifically went after US Soccer over equal pay.

That is the only logical explanation here.

Okay, I have an issue. With Gotham. Not so much the place as with the place.

I get an idea or two about writing a fanfic for the Batfamily, and those of you who know my style know that I like to focus on the locale to flesh out details. Give a place a bit of history, find interesting bits about specific places within the place, and so on. Maps are one of my favourite ways of doing this.

But then there’s this map of Gotham.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot that’s great about it, I love the district divisions and general setup. But it’s supposed to be in New Jersey, open to the Atlantic.

From what I’ve found, islands along the New Jersey coast are either long sandy stretches bordering the Atlantic, or they are low and marshy blobs that lie within the borders of those long sandy stretches and may or may not be swallowed up at high tide. Neither of which seems right for Gotham. And scooping out a bit of the NJ coastline to plonk islands capable of holding ten million people has not been a stellar success.

As you can see.

(And then there’s the problem of where the heck to put Metropolis.)

So, good folks, I need some advice. I want Gotham to fit somewhere here. But I don’t know how. If I use the original map then it doesn’t fit. If I use an altered map, or make one of my own, it stands less of a chance of fitting the lore. And there’s still the issue of Metropolis.
