Blog Under Construction
This is a brand new RP blog and my first multi-fandom/multi-character RP blog. I just miss a lot of my muses and feel like this way I'll get to write them even if it's just a little bit.
I probably won't do a lot of fancy formatting. If you're interested in the characters we can plot something but I don't want to do the whole verses page and all that.
I prefer paragraph or multi-paragraph writing.

L O S T; whatever happened, happened
An unlikely group of strangers are stranded on a strange and mysterious island; polar bears, island dwellers, and smoke, oh my.
Flight 815 had been heading towards Los Angeles, California, when a freak storm came out of nowhere and split the plane apart. Which sent the plane and its inhabitants careening to the Island below. Luckily, there's a doctor — (Benjamin Linus smiles in approval as he watches from down below) — and he unfortunately takes the mantle of leader onto himself.
Pasts that interconnect, a fight for survival, found family, and a whole slew of directions you can potentially go. All run by the mod team first before anything too crazy.

tuesdaypost evening
if i have to do any more homework i'm for real going to super mario throw myself into the sun
listening:
more borodin...some breaking benjamin...FINALLY FINISHED FRIENDS AT THE TABLE PARTIZAN HOLIDAY EPISODES......what a fucking episode dude. i was doing dishes while i listened to that and fully stopped and stood there for like 10 minutes while The Scene with clem and gur sevraq played...the music in that scene.....just wow. incredible. i did not know that jack and keith played different characters for the rest of the season so i'm looking forward to meeting them, first arc after the holiday special is thisbe valence and si so i haven't seen either of them yet...very excited for that though.

Why Don't We Just Kill the Kid In the Omelas Hole" by Isabel J. Kim - very neat short story. commentary on the way we live these days. ough.
watching:
managed to tune into some of the fatt stream tonight haha...very fun...more dunmesh and kill la kill...
playing:
i keep forgetting to put ttrpg stuff here. unfortunately it is all dnd at the moment. every other week i do dnd 3 days in a row which might kill me actually! two of them are online, one of which i run, and the one i do in person i'm just a player, so it's like ... not THAT bad .....
this past weekend one of the three got moved so it was just the one i run and the one in-person. the one i run is. well. first of all i'm stealing at least my initial story stuff from mdzs. second of all wow these are some guys of all time. tl;dr, we are talking some romance subplots that are frankly none of my business, god bless 'em, they can go do their love triangle (quadrangle??) in the out-of-game rp channel on the discord, and also there is the biggest tittied bird lady you could possibly imagine.
making:
english paper piecing!!! gonna do a border in a solid teal fabric and then do the lining! this is going to be a dice bag probably? :)
oh! and pottery from last week! technically these came out of the kiln before the new year but i didn't get back to the studio til last wednesday.
first: what i'm affectionately calling my Mold Bowl because it looks like. this.
then eye bowl number one, which needs to go back in the kiln actually because a little bit of ? kiln medium ??? got flung into it and it's not smooth so i need to dremel it down and re-glaze the little spot
and finally, eye bowl number two, more of a cup really! i really really love how the inside glaze came out. i'm gonna make a little set of teacups like this but with all that glaze.
eating:
roommate made a braised eggplant, pork, and mushroom thing that i've been eating for like three days. sooo good. i also got some chocolates from a local candy shop, including hot pepper dark chocolate stars (they are quite spicy!) and 'chocolate covered honeycomb candy' which i never had before but am now obsessed with. the texture...
misc:
the amount of busy work i have to do this semester to finish the masters degree requirements? terrible. agony. i miss free time.

Jack dressed in one of his nicest suits, making sure he was dressed to impress, and made his way downstairs. After their outside fun and Andy’s request yesterday, he contacted his person from the club and made arrangements for the two of them to attend this evening. The only thing he’d told his boyfriend was to dress like he was ready to be devoured and left him in the room to finish getting ready. He went into the kitchen and poured himself a small drink and waited for his hot as fuck boyfriend to join him, ready to get the evening started.

Ransom arrives home, pulling off his coat. As he balls it up in his hands he hears the crinkle of paper. Confused he smooths the coat along the back of his couch, reaching into the pocket. He pulls out the photo Jack had handed to Ransom.
He stares at the photo. They certainly didn’t look happy, Jack more so than Ransom. He smirks, Jack was never very good at hiding his emotions. It was good to know some things never changed. Ransom sighs. He’d tried to make amends to Jack but as he expected Jack wasn’t going to have any of it. It hadn’t surprised him, Ransom had burned him pretty badly.
Ransom walks down the hallway to his library, still studying the photo as he went. They had looked really good together, in spite of the turmoil that always plagued their relationship. Had Ransom not been so young, cocky, and entitled he might have tried to work harder to make his marriage work. But as it stood he never felt like anything could touch him. Each day Jack insisted more that Ransom try harder Ransom just dug his heels in. He was passionate enough at home, why did he need to make a display of his affection in public? In front of everyone he knew? In front of his family who would give their opinions wether they were asked for or not? Jack didn’t need that, so each day Ransom closed off more and more from his ex husband.
Walking along the book shelves Ransom pulls out a first edition tome of Catcher in the Rye. He flips the cover open revealing a cubby cut into the pages of the book. No one would ever look there, who in their right mind willingly chose to read Catcher in the Rye? Inside the cubby was another photo, this one black and white. Ransom sets the one in his hand along the shelf and reaches for the one in the book.
5 years ago...
Ransom slams his fist against the bathroom door and winces, the resulting loud bang reverberating through his already throbbing head. His hangover was in full force and his outburst when he had awoken did not help matters. He presses his fingers into his eyes.
Jack...baby... come out.
Ransom waits as he hears a muffled no to his request. He huffs. Turning back to the room ransom digs through his bag, finally pulling out the lock picking kit hidden at the bottom. It was a skill he’d learned to help his grandfather when writing one of his novels, The Turning of the Clock. Since then he’d decided keeping the kit around would come in handy. This was one of those moments. Ransom returns to the bathroom door and in a few short minutes he has the lock picked.
As the door swings open Ransom is met with the glowering stare of his boyf -- husband. In spite of the venom being thrown his way Jack’s eyes are red and swollen. That was Jack, wearing his emotions on his sleeve. He’s reclined in the tub, water dripping off the ends of his hair.
Did the cold shower cool you off honey?
Ransom laughs as Jack flips him off, which only infuriates Jack more. Ransom sobers, the reality he found himself in setting in once again. He walks over to the tub and sinks down to the ground, leaning against the porcelain. He pulls his knees up towards is chest but stops, seeing the light glint off his ring finger on his left hand.
This wasn’t supposed to happen. Vegas was just supposed to be a fun getaway. Jack was just Ransom’s latest conquest in a string of high status paramours. He’d never dated royalty and the looks that got Ransom stroked his ego nicely. He did care for Jack. He was an attentive and passionate lover, but marriage? Needless to say when Ransom woke up the revelation was explosive. Hence why Jack was locked in the bathroom. Ransom sighs.
I’m sorry I freaked out. But... marriage? We haven’t even discussed that.
Ransom peeks over to Jack, still glaring holes into the side of his face.
You didn’t seem to mind it when you were balls deep into me, consummating said marriage. Jack scathes.
Ransom chuckles. Drunk as they were he did remember flashes their so-called wedding night. Silence settles around them.
...We can get divorced. People do it all the time, especially here in Vegas. Drunken mistakes fixed just like that. Jack snaps his fingers glumly.
He wasn’t looking at Ransom anymore, eyes staring down into his wet lap. He was expecting Ransom to say yes; he should have said yes. Yet, when he looked at Jack he couldn’t. He looked so fragile and vulnerable, and Ransom did have feelings for Jack, didn’t he? He reaches over and grips Jack’s knee squeezing it.
No, no... we’ll make this work. I promise.
Just then the suite’s doors burst open and a gaggle of their friends came swarming in, cheering the newly wed couple.
Ransom laughs softly, sliding his finger along the edge of the photo. Thus this infamous shot was born. It had been his favorite, even if the marriage hadn’t worked out, no thanks to him. He places the photo along with the new addition back into the book and sets it back into place.
They were memories best forgotten, as Jack had expressed that he had no desire to have anything to do with Ransom. He didn’t blame him. Ransom had extended the hand of fellowship and he wouldn’t do so again. He would respect his ex husband’s wishes and stay clear of him. He strolls back through the library, shuts off the light and closes the door against the memories.
