Also included are the full designs and the Discord icons. Kokichi’s account is the one shown, so it was fun to think of what people he’d be friends with and what kind of servers he’d be in. (I’m not saying they all met in a Terezi fan server in this AU, but I’m not not saying that.)

The conversation they’re having on Discord is basically Kaito having bad wi-fi, Kokichi claiming to have cursed him, and Shuichi offering sympathy and trying to point out something on screen. I imagine they all commissioned Angie for the art in universe, but here in our world, I had loads of fun trying to make the art styles distinct 😁

Official names:

Kindaichi Satoki / 金田一 悟記 Surname: reference to famous fictional detective Kindaichi Kosuke Given name: enlightenment/perceive/realize, account/record (also, sounds like Satori)

Amateur (?) detective with a suspicious amount of anime and game knowledge for someone who claims to only read detective novels and true crime. Audience is split on whether the stories they tell about cases are based on something the real person behind them actually experienced or are totally fictional/references to media.

Inexplicably amazing at racing games. Banned from werewolf/mafia-type multiplayer games for being too good at guessing the bad actors.

Yamiochi Makiko / 闇落 魔鬼子 Surname: fall to darkness/heel turn Given name: demon, ghost, child (also, same first kanji as Maki)

Daughter and heir to the demon king who refers to all followers/subs as minions in her evil organization. Possibly also a clown? Only plays games on hard, and is apparently pro-level at chess. Really wide range of expressions, especially creepy ones!

Accepts Yamimaki and Kiko as nicknames, but not plain Maki. There is some Other Maki who never appears and is only referenced ominously.

Nanase Stella / 七星 ステラ Surname: seven stars/Big Dipper Given name: Latin for star

Alien visiting Earth for the first time from another galaxy. Inexplicably speaks Japanese, English, and Russian despite this. Chat streams rebranded as “Let Me Tell You About Space!” because that’s most of what happened anyway, but she’ll still give advice/encouragement if someone asks.

Consistently terrible luck, both in games (random chance= worst outcome 100% of the time) and out (wi-fi has issues constantly, streams glitch out in ways that seem impossible). Official explanations offered: 1) Attacks from enemy aliens who want to destroy Earth. 2) Cursed by Makiko with a million years of bad luck.

Shuichi felt a bit like an idiot. He knew damn well what he was doing when he flipped his familiar baseball cap backwards. The male's day had gone well. Too well. "Time to press my luck." He murmurs with a tiny grin, the asshole part of him influencing his footsteps up to the classroom his friends filled after school hours. The detective paused at the door for a moment to smooth the grin off his lips before opening the door and walking inside.

He doesn't say anything, just went to sit down at the usual desk Shuichi'd commandeer. The blue hair didn't have to say anything.

"Shuichi..." Kaito says in a distinct warning tone through grit teeth.

That was more then enough to draw everyone's attention, Miu being quick on the draw with a sharp laugh "Damn Pooichi, you finally made space-for-brains drop the pet name!"

There were several more interjections from other's but the astronaut's stood out, of course.

Kaito raises his voice a little with an air of agitation, "Are you asking for a beat down?" The blue hair stamps out a smirk before it makes its way to his lips as he looks over to the werewolf as innocently as possible, "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't notice..."

"Bullshit, put your hat-cap-thing back on the right way." The other shot back, fist clenched. The moment Kaito cracks his knuckles, is when Kaito starts taking things seriously. So naturally, Shuichi turns to his briefcase, pulling out his study notes "I'll fix my hat if you buy me coffee-" The detective barely had time to notice someone's swift foot steps before cold fingers dug into pressure points behind the jaw and underneath Shuichi's ears, sending searing pain through the male. He yelps and whimpers until he's released a few seconds later, slumping over his desk with a small groan.

"Stop being stupid." The detective can just barely hear Maki's sigh, in the exasperated yet slightly amused way she usually does. The assassin rights the detective's hat and returns to her seat.

~sometime later~

Shuichi, in fact, did not get his coffee after the study group disbanded. What he got, was a slap up the back of his head from his roommate as they made the trek back to their dorm; Empty halls echoing banter and snide retorts between jokes and chuckles until the blue hair's energy was spent.

He always did feel that you brought sunshine and guidance into his life.

He just didn't know that it was literally your job to do so.

Still, you were an anomaly to him. You were just so perfect, so pure. And yet, the aura you radiated was just so powerful.

Shuichi found himself having less nightmares. Instead, you almost always found a way into his dreams, not that he was complaining.

He did, however appreciate whenever you offered him advice. You always knew the right thing to do, and he knew that he could always count on you.

"I had a feeling that it wasn't the right call. Wow, S/O, you really are wise!"

As a detective, however, he has a natural curiosity and drive to explain things that are unexplainable.

How do you get things right so often?

And everytime you got a scratch or cut, no matter how large or small, it was practically fully healed by the next day?

Your creature is: Demon

You seriously needed to walk on eggshells around your boyfriend if you didn't want to be found out.

Literally all he does is study rituals that could be potentially harmful to you.

You love him anyways, though, which is the main reason you can't let him in on your identitiy.

You did your absolute best to keep Korekiyo out of harm's way.

Whenever you felt the negative energy someone possesed, you had no problem telling them to stay away from your boyfriend.

He really values having peace, so he makes sure to thank you for driving away any negative people.

"Oh, S/O, my darling, how I'm always so appreciative of you keeping me in your best interests."

He always feels a little hurt when you won't join him in studying his rituals, though.

"My darling, is something wrong? I'm not making you uncomfortable, am I?"

You always have to sweat nervously and come up with an excuse.

Your creature is: Unicorn

An interesting pair for sure.

But you made it work.

Kokichi was very nosy, so hiding was a bit difficult. However, you were used to masking your true identity, so you found ways.

Your boyfriend also being a little gremlin, you had to protect him at all times.

But he's Kokichi, so he pretends he doesn't like it.

"Jeeeeeez, S/O, I don't need you following me around all the time!"

You're not immortal, but you've lived much longer than Kokichi. You've met kind people, mean people, evil people, good people, honest people, and liars. You knew he was lying.

Surprisngly to you as well, he was very prone to feelings of deep sadness and loneliness, like a dark cloud was hanging over his head.

You may or may not use your magic to drive away any negative thoughts that he may have about himself.

He's in denial that he feels better around you...because he's Kokichi and it scares him.

"Yeah, you're alright to have around. The perfect prank target!"

The guy is very reclusive, so he really doesn't care when you tend to keep your distance out of fear of being found out.

"I'm too dangerous for you anyways, S/O. Maybe you should just go find someone better..."

He even suspected you of cheating when you kept going out at night, but didn't bother to say anything.

You would never even think of leaving Ryoma, and it made you a little bit sad he would even think of that. You knew it wasn't his fault, though.

One thing you did dislike about him, though, was the fact he was a cat person. Every time his cat hissed at you, you did a low growl bsck, scaring it off. Only when you're alone with her do you growl, however.

"Guess she doesn't like you, huh? I'm sorry about that."

You always smile so sweetly at him, reassuring him that it's okay.

Whenever you two go out, you make sure to let everyone know that you weren't messing around.

If they say something, you walk up to them and bear your teeth, and they take off in the other direction.

"Typical... even strangers don't want to be around me."

Somebody please get this man some therapy.

Your creature is: Shinigami

For the most part, life is pretty normal for the two of you.

Gonta doesn't really get himself into troubling situations, so you don't really have to worry about sentencing him to death.

Anyone who hurts him, however?

That's a different story.

You try not to kill too many people, though, as you know that's not what Gonta would want.

He gets really confused when one of his bugs sting you and you don't even flinch.

"S/O! Gonta sorry about bee! S/O isn't hurting?!"

You make up a reason, and he just goes along with it.

If ever a time does come when you have to sentence Gonta, you have to decide.

Will you save his life and sacrifice yours, or let him die in a peaceful way and let him rest?

It's pretty easy to get past Kiibo.

Although he may find it a little bit strange how you almost never seem to get very hungry, or eat...

He doesn't question it.

After all, all humans are different! He's read up on this thing they have called "metabolism". Yours is probably just really slow!

"Um, S/O are you positive that you'll be okay?"

As easy as it was, though, you didn't feel right murdering and eating innocent people behind your unknowing boyfriend. So, you went to the nearest prison, found a person who was on Death Row, and decided to just feast on them.

Hey, they were going to die anyways, and they were a criminal.

Still, you couldn't help but feel a little guilty looking into your boyfriend's oh-so innocent eyes.

"Don't worry, S/O! There's apparently someone who's been breaking into prisons and murdering inmates, but I'll do my best to protect you to the very end!!!"

He's Baby.

Your creature is: Unicorn

He gets very upset time to time, whenever he thinks about his sisters.

Obviously, you use your powers to help him search.

"I refuse to give up. With you by my side, S/O, I just know that we can find them...together."

You have ultrasound, and you use it to listen for any sounds, or get any hints at all.

When you're both riding in the boat, you use protection charms to make sure no sharks or other dastardly sea creatures disturb you.

You also use one to prevent the two of you from getting seasick.

You also use any powers you have to try and ward away Rantaro's negative thoughts or any self-doubt, but it doesn't always work.

It makes you feel bad that your powers can only do so much. All you wanted was to find his sisters.

But you wouldn't give up, not now and not ever. You had to be strong for each other. You just knew that one day you would find them, all 12 of them.

"I know it's going to be a struggle, but we can do it."

Your creature is: Wendigo

Kaito was one of the only ones who had just the utmost belief in you, and it always made you feel bad for being a literal cannibal.

He was very proud when you announced your new job at a prison.

"Helping those in need! That's so awesome, S/O!"

Heh...yeeaaaahhhhhh.

You kept the eating to an absolute minimum.

Whenever Kaito offered to train with you, you thought it was a little funny to mess with him by a little bit.

You had superhuman strength and speed, so you always beat him in foot races and bench pressing.

"Huh?! No fair, I thought I would beat you this time!"

He's not a sore loser, however. He uses it as motivation.

"Well...! I'll just have to train even harder so that I can for sure catch up to you next time!"

If you think about it, you were technically helping him.

You also had a great amount of intelligence, and you used it to help Kaito with his astronaut needs. Calculations and such.

"Thanks, babe! You're the best! I can't wait to live out my dream with you!"

V3 Monster AU

I guess it’s more of a monster/mythical creature but oh well. This just popped into my head earlier so here we go. It’s still super loose with not much structure, but hopefully it’ll all come together more.

Overall:

Shuichi Saihara was the apprentice to the well known monster hunter, Kyoko Kirigiri. While he was talented at tracking, note-taking, and research, he was never the best at the actual hunting part and has never killed anything. He expected to act as an apprentice and partner for longer, only for his Master to disappear, leaving no trace of where she went. Now the only one to protect the village, Shuichi wonder if one of the many monsters that live in the forest perhaps has something to do with this.

Harumeno- Himiko lives in the village under the guise of being a medic. To most, Maki simply appears to be Himiko’s roommate, despite the fact that she’s actually a demon summoned by Himiko and the two are now dating. (maybe Survivor Trio later on)

Oumota- Kokichi is a kitsune who has a tendency to constantly mess with Kaito, even when Kaito is in his human form in the village. Despite this, they constantly protect each other, especially after Kokichi makes a mistake during one of his pranks, revealing himself.

Shinnaga- While Harumeno is a relationship that’s been going on for about a year now, and Oumota will get together later, Shinnaga has been together for a long time. Due to her eyes turning people to stone, Angie prefers to hide her eyes, and Korekiyo often helps her around when she needs him. The two have also hurt many people in their lifetime, but have tried to resort to a more peaceful lifestyle as they genuinely don’t have to hurt others, and the reason Angie is always blindfolded is due to the fact that she has accidentally turned many people to stone.

I’ll probably post more later, this is just the basics. I’m kinda nervous cause..well I dunno. And feel free to ask any questions about this au, it helps me think when I have prompts. I’d draw them all but..I can’t draw.

After stretching his body one final time, Shuichi settled into his covers. It was the dead of night, barely past 2 am when he decided to continue his essay tomorrow. He may not be entirely fond of the idea but there had been way too many mornings with back and neck pain alongside a horrible mood and coffee addiction. He didn't know exactly when he was literally pulled out of bed by an absolute terrified Kaito dressed in a purple nightgown with multiple simple spaceships on it. It was still dark outside so it couldn't have been long after he fell asleep. "I saw it!" "W-What…?" "The-The demon!" Shuichi rubbed his eyes with one paw: "What are you talking about, Kaito?" "What do you mean what am I talking about?! I saw the demon in front of my window! It was going to kill me!" The bedside lamp turned on with a 'click' and revealed just how distressed Kaito was. His fur was messy, even messier than usual. His eyes were wide and slightly bloodshot, in them nothing but horror at what he had seen. "Are you sure that's what you saw, Kaito? Maybe it was just a branch or your imag-" "I know what I saw, Shuichi! It was right there!" Shuichi sat up, for once not bothering to stretch: "Ah, I believe you, Kaito. How about we go to the kitchen and talk about this over some tea?" "Y-Yeah, th-that sounds… Good." His eyes went over the the window. Shuichi's room was on one of the upper floors so there was nothing blocking the smooth moonlight. By all means, it looked like a beautiful night. "So, tell me what you saw." Shuichi prompted as they both sat at one of the tables in the cafeteria. Students were allowed to visit the hall at night if only because vampires, werewolves and some harpies were nocturnal. This night, they were alone though. The hall was quiet and dark which might have been considered peaceful but tonight, with what Kaito thought he had seen… It felt eerie. "I told you what I saw!" "Ah you did but I was talking about what the demon looked like." Shuichi, having dealt with enough histeric people, raised one paw to hopefully calm his friend who was holding his cup of tea for dear life. When there came no reaction from the werewolf, he prompted some more: "Was it like Kokichi described?" "Y-Yes." Kaito swallowed hard, continuing with a raspy voice: "I-It had antlers, like he said." "And the red eyes?" Kaito nodded, a violent shiver going through his body all the way to his tailtip. Shuichi took a sip from his tea. The only creature he could think up was a deer of some sort. "Did it have two hooves?" Again, Kaito nodded: "I-It had c-claws too." "Claws?" "Long ones." "Are they…" Shuichi hummed in thought: "Are they like mine?" "N-No. They-They are nothing like a-anything I've ever seen." his eyes searched around the room as if the creature was hiding in some corner the moonlight didn't reach: "I-It was tall, e-even taller than a centaur." That made Shuichi freeze. Centaurs were the tallest species, how can this creature be taller? This was definitely not a deer, that's for sure, Shuichi thought. As horrible as he felt about it, the creature Kaito described sounded interesting. It's existence tickled his entire nature as a detective. It ws strangely alluring. The other half of his brain, however, went through everything else it could be besides a new species. There wasn't much, though. The highest possibilty was a delusion created by fear, or a nightmare. Or another one of Kokichi's pranks: "I think we should check your room, Kaito." "No way!" Kaito retreated, fur fluffed up: "T-There's no way I'm going in there! A-And you shouldn't either, Shuichi!" "Kaito, calm down. I just want to see if what you saw might have been…" he avoided Kaito's eyes. His next words had to be selected carefully: "Not what you thought it was." "... C-Could I stay in your room tonight?" suddenly, in high contrast to his first reaction, he talked in a hush whisper. "Yes, of course." Shuichi smiled and put his paw on Kaito's: "We can check your room tomorrow." He really didn't like the idea. Potential clues might be gone when the sun rose.

Clues that could be vital to solving this case. Then again, what good would a sleep-deprived Kaito do? "Th-Thanks Shuichi." For the first time since prepared, Kaito took a sip from his tea. Trying to fit two people in a one-person bed was hard, to say the least. Shuichi wanted to make sure Kaito had enough space while also not wanting to fall off the side. He had proposed to sleep on the ground but Kaito on the other hand insisted on having his friend closeby in case the demon came back. "Cause then I can help my sidekick easier" he had claimed. Not one of his best lies, if Shuichi was honest. Finally, the two found a somewhat comfortable position with Shuichi laying half-way on Kaito, wings hanging from both sides of the bed. He had to admit; It was a bit awkward even with the soft heat source. As they entered the cafeteria the next morning, Kaede and Maki greeted them. "You two look awful." Kaede commented: "Are you okay?" Shuichi blinked: "Hm? Oh um yeah I'm good. It's just that Kaito thought he saw something in front of his window last night." "I didn't see 'something', Shuichi! I saw the… The…" the werewolf gulped. "The ghost?" Maki finished: "Calm down, the little snake was just messing with you." Another possibility. Being a naga, it wasn't hard to assume Kokichi could climb around the academy without making a single sound. Perhaps he build some sort of puppet. Kaito opened his mouth to protest but closed it shortly after seeing the look Maki gave him. They knew it well. The look that screamed that whatever she had said was final, and in most cases it was. "Kaito slept in my room for the rest of the night," Shuichi explained, taking a bite from his breakfast. "I see." Kaede hummed and her eyes darted over to Kaito for a second: "I'm sure everything's fine, Kaito. There's nothing to be afraid of." "I-I'm not afraid! The Luminary of the Stars is not afraid of anything!" Shuichi took another bite if only to keep himself from commenting. Their conversation turned into a light chatter like it did every morning. Across the room, Shuichi saw their classmate Kiyo bringing his empty plate and teacup into the kitchen. That's when Shuichi got an idea. He excused himself from the group and quickly made his way over to the other naga: "Morning Kiyo." "A good morning to you as well, Shuichi. How unexpectant of you to meet up with me." "Ah yeah," Shuichi shuffled, debating over whether or not he was supposed to apologize or not. "Say, what I can do for you? Surely you didn't come over to only wish me a good morning, yes?" Bullseye. Sorta. "Ah, y-yes. I wanted to ask you something." "Do tell, Shuichi. I am all ears." Kiyo righted his hat's position, his eyes completely focused on the sphinx. It was… Unnerving to say the least. "Well, have you -ah- heard about the rumor? The ghost or demon that's walking around campus at night?" Kiyo nodded: "Yes. Kokichi happened to mention it yesterday and I overheard. I may not be fond of gossip and rumors but I have to say; this ghost entices me if only because of the reactions it brings to the surface. I take it you wish to know my opinion on it." Shuichi nodded, tail restless from Kiyo's intense stare. "There are creatures that would fit the description quite well. Long antlers, red eyes, and walking on two hooves." "Kaito thought he saw it last night. He says that it is also very tall and has sharp claws." "I see…" "Could it be a ghost?" "… No. A ghost has neither claws nor antlers. Every room of Hope's Peak was the same size and had the basic placement of bed and desk. The rest was up to the

student to decorate. Unsurprisingly, Kaito's room was space-themed from the purple and blue carpet with tiny white dots, to the solar-system ceiling lamp which gently spun. "Where did you see it?" Shuichi asked, looking around the room. "Out the window." the werewolf stood behind Maki grabbing her shoulders. She glanced behind: "Do you wanna die?" Kaito's room was on the ground floor so Shuichi could just jump out the window without having to fly and risk accidentally having the gust of his wings destroy evidence. The mud just below the window sill was untouched, lush flowers growing from the soil. The bushes around were also unassuming, no broken branches. Just as he wanted to take off in flight to check the roof, he noticed the dirt having been flattened by something. The spot was a few steps away from the window so Shuichi didn't notice it at first. They weren't hoof, foot nor paw prints. "Found anything, bro?" Kaito closely followed by Maki climbed out. "Yes, I think. The dirt here is-" "Naga." Maki said nonchalantly. "W-What?" "These prints are from a naga. You can tell by the scale pattern." she got onto one knee and pointed. Indeed, there were fine imprints of what looked like scales. "So... It really was Kokichi? That little sh-" "We can't say that yet." Shuichi said, putting one paw on Kaito's chest in an effort to hold his friend back: "For one, why would the prints be all the way over here?" he walked from the prints to the window counting the steps. "He could have just used his tail to lean over." "I doubt that," Shuichi mumbled: "Kokichi doesn't seem like he'd be strong enough to lean over three whole steps. Plus he was probably holding something like a puppet which was even more weight placed on his front." Maki looked at the ground, finger on her chin: "Who says that he had to lean forward? He could have just held the puppet here or hung something from the roof." The sphinx nodded and took off in flight to check. Using his claws and tail to keep him balanced on the oblique red roof tiles, Shuichi scanned the area above the windows but there was nothing substantial. Frowning, he flew back down, shaking his head: "Nothing... Do you two mind continuing to search? It might be good to interrogate Kokichi." "What good what that do?" Kaito snapped: "The little shit will only fabricate something like he always does." "As much as it pains me to say; I agree with Kaito." Maki sighed. "I know he won't be very obliqued to help but it is worth a shot. Maybe I can get *something* useful from him." Shuichi argued: "A slip of the tongue, you know?" "As if that'll happen..." Kaito huffed, ears flattened against his head. "I want to at least try." Maki and Kaito exchanged quick glances then Maki nodded: "We'll keep looking for clues. I suggest we meet up at lunch at the main gate."

“Woah! You drew these? Pretty fucking awesome!” The inventor laughed as you showed off your recent sketches, all of which were Halloween-themed since it was that time of year. “You make a better Ultimate Artist than that stupid bobblehead!”

“No, I couldn’t possibly take her talent.” You shook your head, flipping the pages. “Sketching is just a hobby, that’s all. I wanna draw some more Halloween stuff later-”

“Oh I got an idea: draw me as a sexy witch~”

“....pardon?”

“I know what I said!!” Miu puffed her cheeks out as she posed on her chair, stretching her legs out. “I’d make one hell of a sexy witch, wouldn’t I? If you want inspiration, all you gotta do is look towards your hot girlfriend Miu Iruma~!”

There was a twinkle in her eye as she spoke so boldly of herself, though she blinked as you smiled and got out a pencil.

“Alright. If you say so-”

“W-Wait!! A-Ah I’m....I’m actually not ready y-yet! I’m not a SHSL M-Model, ya know....”

Looking up in confusion, you saw her covering her now reddened face.

But you just sighed and shook your head, having expected this sort of reaction.

“A-AH!”

Hearing a scream as you walked into your lab, you stopped when you saw Kaito standing there. But then you noticed one of your sketchbooks laying on the ground beside him and frowned.

“Kaito why are you going through my stuff? I got nothing to hide from...” As you approached him, however, he turned to face you, standing rigidly with a scared expression.

“Y-You um....you d-draw good...” He managed to stutter out.

It was then you noticed the page your sketchbook was on--a collection of Halloween doddles, mostly ones of ghosts.

Nothing too scary...at least not in your eyes.

You just sighed and shook your head, looking back at the astronaut as you opened your arms up. “C’mere you big baby.”

Kaito still looked petrified even as he hugged you tightly, shaking like a leaf.

You never knew his fear of paranormal things was this bad, but now you had a better understanding of it.

“Promise me you’ll stop going through my shit?”

“Y-Yeah...I promise....I-I definitely won't do that again."

“How fascinating! You're quite the artist, my dearest."

“Thanks, though these drawings aren’t anything too special.” You chuckled, seeing Korekiyo hold up your sketchbook in awe as he looked at the Halloween-themed drawings you’ve made. “It’s just that time of year.”

“It is, indeed.” He handed it back to you. “I see you’ve even drawn your own interpretations of the creatures I’ve told you about. They’re beautifully haunting, I must say.”

Nodding, you closed your sketchbook. “You got any more interesting stories about Halloween traditions in other cultures?”

“Ah, but of course. There are many practices that are far more...dark than today’s lighthearted ones.” The anthropologist smiled beneath his mask. “Perhaps you’d like to know about guising, which is known today as trick-or-treating?”

“Hey! Hey! [Y/n]! Check this out!”

Sighing, you decided to take the paper Kokichi was shoving into your hands, looking at it.

It was a childish doddle of him as a demon, apparently attacking Kaito, with ghosts surrounding him. Said astronaut had his hair drawn in the shape of a banana, which was quite amusing.

You chuckled. “So you wanna be a demon and scare Kaito this Halloween?”

“Mhm!” He nodded, though his eyes went to your nearby sketchbook. Before you could say anything, he sprinted to it and grabbed it.

“Hey!”

“Relax, I’m not gonna rip out any--oooooo, this is cool!” With his eyes practically sparkling, he showed you a page where you had a finished werewolf sketch. “Obviously my drawing skills are superior but this is pretty badass. I’m gonna keep it.”

“Wait, I thought you said--” But you were cut off by a tearing noise as he ripped it out of the sketchbook, smiling innocently.

“That was a lie. You can keep mine in exchange~!” With that, he dashed off to his room, and you chased after him.

“KOKICHIIII!!”

"[Y/n]? I found one of your sketchbooks here. I promise I did not go through anything that might be personal to you."

Blinking, you saw the maid hand the book to you. "Awh, thank you, hun. But did you see the drawings?"

"Ah..I did. You drew some spider webs that resembled the ones on my dress." Then she looked down at the book, her eyes flickering back to you in hesitance. "Do I have permission?"

"Absolutely."

Kirumi flipped it open to the page where you drew some spiders and cobwebs. She was quite impressed with the amount of details you put into each and every one.

"I think with just a few more cobwebs on your outfit, you'd make a beautiful spider queen for the party. Oh! What if I did your makeup for it, too?" You clapped your hands together, smiling as you saw the small blush rising to her cheeks.

Though she nodded slightly and closed the book. "If that's what you wish, then I don't mind." A small smile appeared on her own face.

no one asked but here danganronpa fantasy au that was made in my early days of the fandom and is thus outdated and was made with mostly only the drv3 cast in mind. i updated it a little for the public tho haa

Plot: ok so basically kaede is a princess and she befriends this shapeshifter named shuichi and sorta assigns him as her advisor and their best friends. then two weeks before her crowning she gets kidnapped and shuichi goes off to look for her in time for her to be queen. and he meets the rest of the cast and finds her and everyone is happy

Kaede: Princess. Is very skilled in many different musical types, but piano is her main. Kidnapped from her palace. Shuichi's best friend.

Shuichi: Shapeshifter(he tries to keep this a secret). Orphaned as a child and stumbled into the castle's gardens, where he met Kaede. Searching for her after her disappearance so she can become queen in time.

Kaito: A wannabe adventurer who offers to accompany Shuichi on the road to find Kaede. Also wishes to one day be able to take his adventuring to the sky. Use to be the assistant of an astronomer, before leaving to make his own fortune. Says he's heard rumors about someone who has a map to where the gang who kidnapped Kaede resides. Ryoma was one of his former idols.

Kokichi: A thief and a leader of a gang of bandits. After ending up getting caught while trying to steal from their wagon, he offers to join them and help find Kaede(with plans to rob them and steal their wagon and horses, but only ends up growing closer to them and reconsidering stealing from them cause "huh that prize for finding the queen is a lot more than what these losers probably have").

Maki: An assassin for hire who runs into the trio by random. Also it just so happens that her next target is Kokichi. Kaito saves Kokichi's ass and Shuichi offers to outpay the bounty on Kokichi's head-wait did someone seriously offer that much Kokichi what the hell did you do to piss someone off that much-he then offers that if Maki were to travel with the three of them for a short while, then they could stop by the Akamatsu kingdom and she could get her gold. Maki just wants to kill Kokichi and go, but Kaito begins insisting she comes with them("cmon just cause your an assassin doesnt mean you have to be edgy all the time")and this does really annoy Maki, but eh fine she'll come with them for a day or two, but if she doesn't that money she'll go back to her original plan. And thus the four is complete.

Kiyo: A traveling anthropologist who is secretly a vampire. In his wishes to continue traveling after his turning, he wears much clothing to protect him from the sun, which gives him a creepy appearance. He runs into the four after someone ends up "accidentally" letting the horses go, and offers to give them a ride to meet Rantaro he can guide him to the town. Then mysteriously disappears after dropping a few facts about certain cultures. Even then he appears randomly ever so often. He also has an interest in seances and always observes specialists in the subjects when the chance arrives. His horse, who he's nicknamed "Shiso", is very precious to him, as it is the child of his now deceased older sister's former horse. He also occasionally travels with Rantaro.

Rantaro: A true adventurer who has been through so many dangerous encounters he has become very chill when facing danger. He knows a lot of things about the wild and creature's preferences, though he isn't a walking fact machine. Meets the four and agrees to guide them after hearing they've met Kiyo. Is also looking for his sisters, who have disappeared whilst traveling with him.

Angie: A siren who can change into human when on land. Is very dedicated to the siren sea god. She attempts to use her voice to lure the trio into her cult(of course, doing so would require them to get into the water and drown), but is interrupted by Tenko who scares her off.

Himiko: A young witch who also deems herself a mage. She is severely underestimated due to her lazy nature and size. She gets gravely annoyed when people accuse her of being a fake, and wishes for everyone to see herself as a mage. She calls Tenko her familiar who she turned into a human(the ways of how are not mentioned). When the three arrive, she uses her cauldron to help them locate where the person-who-has-the-map is(she couldn't make out what they looked like or who they were, but hey, she got the town at least).

Tenko: A girl who had once been training to be a knight put was put under a warlock's curse that turned her into a frog, unless she had a true love's kiss. Frog Tenko fell in love almost immediately when she first saw Himiko, and began following her, hoping to one day be able to see if she could break the curse. Himiko first thought of the frog as annoying, but then it began helping her out, and she grew weirdly attached to it, then decided to craft a familiarbond with her, which required at least a kiss on the head. Surprise surprise, Himiko broke Tenko's curse. And Tenko also kept the perks of being a familiar. Tenko has a very obvious crush on Himiko that she denies to have, but is very loyal to her and has promised to protect her and stay by her side until their last days. Due to being a familiar, she has limited magic that can become more powerful the more closer she is to Himiko- and Himiko can also channel magic through her. Tenko, due to a warlock having been the one who put the curse on her and her old teacher feeding her biased views, has a dislike for males, and only rescued the trio because she hated seeing Angie succeeding, and only brought them to Himiko after Shuichi offered to pay a good amount of gold to see her.

Ryoma: A former adventurer, who is now an outlaw since he joined the gang who stole Kaede. However, he also betrayed this gang a long while ago, and so now he is both hunted down by the gang and guards of most kingdoms. He resides hidden away, though by now he has no desire to continue living. He is also the one to have the map to the gang's hideaway, and is the one to give it to Kaito.

Kirumi: The secret former queen of the Tojo kingdom, who ran away after being forced into a loveless marriage. She now works as one of Kaede's best maids, and offers advice. She also tries to track down where Kaede could be held unbeknownst to Shuichi, and is the one to save the four.

Kiibo: A walking build of gears with a touch of magic, he was formerly Miu's first attempt at a walking person. Then, the very next day, almost by magic, he acquired a personality of his own, the ability to speak, and was basically a human- well, sure, he was still made of wood, iron, and gears, but that doesn't change anything, right? He resides in a village with his inventor, who is Miu, as mentioned before. He wishes to one day be able to leave the village and go on his own journey, but for now, he lives peacefully, trying to be seen as just the same as any other normal human.

Miu: An inventor and an idol in her village. She is the reason her village may be the most technologically advanced in the kingdom. She makes plenty of money off of her inventions. Of course, if people were to actually meet her, they would find that she really doesn't act like the inventor people think she is. She lives in her 'lab' in the center of her village, with her companion Kiibo. Has a deep running rivalry with Kokichi, and was actually the one who paid Maki to track him down and kill him.

Gonta: Half human, half beast, all around gentleman. He was abandoned in a forest and was raised by animals and monsters. He has since moved into a village that was much more welcome to him. He wishes to one day become a knight, in order to prove his gentlemenness.

Tsumugi: A very plain and simple tailor whose clothes are much more appealing to look at then herself. Or, at least, that is what people think she is. In reality, she is the leader of the gang who kidnapped Kaede, and wishes for nothing but wealth. She uses her clothing shop as a cover and extra way to make gold, and at the end she kidnaps the four, only to be foiled.

Other Characters:

Makoto: A friendly baker who happens to get sucked into adventures from time to time. Has a curse/gift of both bad luck and good luck. Also married to Kyoko(and maybe Prince Togami).

Kyoko: A very well respected investigator who is rumored to be able to take any case. An enemy of thieving gangs. Married to Makoto(and maybe Prince Togami).

Byakuya: A snobby prince who is due to take his kingdom's throne. However, he refuses to get married until he is crowned(there is a rumor that he is engaged in a poly relationship with the investigator Kyoko and her husband. neither of them have confirmed nor denied this).

Toko/Genocider Syo: A half demon writer who's demon side is a serial killer by the name of Genocider Syo. Use to serve Byakuya and had an intense infatuation for him, before meeting Komaru and going on an adventure with her(more explained in Komaru's section), and eventually falling in love with her, eventually quitting her old job to become a writer.

Aoi: A friendly mermaid with an intense craving for human treats. Is dating Sakura.

Sakura: The head knight of a certain kingdom. Very just. Is dating Aoi.

Celeste: A vampire who gambles for money and blood. Has her own mansion of vampire butlers.

Kiyotaka: A traveling ranger whose duty is to right all the wrongs of this world. May or may not possess some sort of supernatural powers. Also may or may not be in a romantic relationship with Mondo.

Mondo: A feared bandit(who is also a werewolf)who is the leader of his own gang, with black horses being their symbol(and also their form of transportation). Use to challenge Kiyotaka often and considered him a rival, but now their quite close "bros"(who may or may not have romantic feelings for each other).

Chihiro: A shy potionbrewer. They sell things such as the healing potions they make, though their quick to give for free to people who need it. However, isn't gullible. Surprisingly on good terms with Mondo and Kiyotaka, being that they once rescued Mondo and nursed him back to health.

Hagakure: A(very limited)psychic who has probably sold his soul to a demon for money. Is in way too much debt with too many bandit gangs. His friends wonder how he's still alive. Either way, he travels around telling fortunes to make money.

Leon: An archer who wishes to be anything but an archer. He has a wish of becoming a bard, as far as that wish may be. Has been rescued from siren attacks too many times to count.

Sayaka: A siren who doesn't have the same mentality as the other sirens, and doesn't actually believe in or pray to the sea god. However, she still has a mavolvent side, and enjoys luring men to their doom. But it is possible to befriend her. She and Makoto have known each other since childhood and are very close friends.

Hifumi: A traveling scribe with an interest in drawings of fictional woman. Has been rumored to be an assistant of Celeste.

Junko: The head queen of the chaotic level demons. Wishes for nothing but to break despair to everyone. Grew up with Mukuro as sisters, but isn't actually related to her by blood.

Mukuro: A shapeshifter who takes many forms. Has been a knight in many armies and is very skilled with weapons. She and Junko were both abandoned orphans who ended growing up with each other as sisters. Is also Junko's 'eyes upstairs'. Has managed to grow attached to Makoto after observing him, and often ends up rescuing him without his knowledge.

Hajime: A demon hunter who is half demon himself(his half demon side being nicknamed Izuru Kamukura, and being a skillful level of demon). Only kills demons who he considers actual threats. Surprisingly drinking barmates with Fuyuhiko and Kazuchi. Is currently reluctantly allowing Nagito to stay with him(may or may not actually have romantic feelings for him). Use to be in love with Chiaki, until she peacefully rejected him.

Nagito: A demon who many believe to be in the chaotic level, but is actually just a lowly luck demon(a very severe luck demon to be exact). Brings despair wherever he goes, though he yearns for nothing but the hope to bring him to the end. Grew very quickly attached to Hajime after observing him for a few days after he spared him, and believes that he will be the hope that will eventually kill him- but as annoying as he may be, Hajime doesn't wish to kill him off. Very self-degrading.

Chiaki: A very sleepy and peaceful witch, who people come to for advice. She enjoys controlling stick figures in video game styles. Close childhood friend of Hajime.

Kazuchi: An inventor who dreams of one day being accepted as the private inventor to Princess Sonia, his everlasting crush. His inventions are amazing, but underlooked. He sold his soul to a demon once in order to make his brown hair pink and to have his sight back so he didn't have to wear glasses. Lucky for him, Hajime then slayed that demon, and now he considers the both of them soulfriends(hajime has his regrets). He spends more time with Gundham, who he battles for Sonia's affections, rather then trying to chill with Sonia herself(though to be fair she doesnt let him get that close).

Gundham: A demon who can bend the will of animals to his own use, aided by his destructive Four Dark Devas of Destruction. His name is feared across the land, and he wishes for nothing but to instill fear into the hearts of many. Until he met Princess Sonia, who he spends an awful lot of time with and seems to have a soft spot for her. He can be found making his plans to destroy villages, hanging out with Sonia, or arguing with Kazuchi.

Sonia: A princess who is invested in learning about demons and summonings. Often travels around in order to observe such things, and a ritual was actually where she met Gundham, who she became close friends with.

Fuyuhiko: The leader of one of the most powerful gangs in the continent. Lost his eye in a barfight. Though he's usually a mean and rough guy, he has a soft spot for his 'allies'(mainly Kazuchi and Hajime)and his personal bodyguard, Peko. He thinks of Peko as more than a tool, and wants her to see that.

Peko: Once upon a time, a group of humans with super senses made an arrangement with the gang that Fuyuhiko now runs. The gang would help them out and leave them alone while supplying them with some money every month, and they would give to them one of their own young to each of the current gang leader's children. Peko was given to Fuyuhiko when she was just a baby. The two grew up alongside each other, but never as equals. She was trained to be nothing but a weapon. A protector. Because of this, she has grown awfully monotone. But, she has a soft spot for fluffy animals, though they do not have a soft spot for her.

Mikan: A fallen angel who fell when she met Junko, the so called leader of the powerful side of demons, and became infatuated by her. Now serves alongside Junko, in a not very healthy relationship. Hopefully she'll break free one day...

Ibuki: A half beast who can transform from a colorful gem dragon to a more humanlike form. She's very rambunctious and causes disaster without meaning to. Loud and vocal.

Twogami: A double agent shapeshifter who goes by many identities, so many in fact that they don't even actually know who they themselves are. However, they have a strong sense of leadership and is a surprisingly nice guy. Actually takes Byakuya's role for amount of times so the original Byakuya can sneak out and meet with Makoto and Kyoko.

Mahiru: An explorer who likes to take pictures of every place she sees. Also is known to help people out whenever she passes through a village. Met Hiyoko when the short girl defended her from a bar creep. Has a friend from home that she occasionally travels with by the name of Sato.

Hiyoko: A dancer who travels a lot, going from bar to bar. She doesn't really like it, considering how many 'creeps' are there, but it makes money for her and her dad, who she cares about a lot. Defended Mahiru from a creep and grew attached to her, and insists that she come visit her whenever she happens through a town that Hiyoko is performing in. May have some feelings for her, but whether their one-sided or not is still to be seen.

Akane: A harpy who is almost always hungry, and can usually be found hunting for meat. A little dimwitted and has a sense of recklessness. Close allies with Nekomaru.

Nekomaru: A half beast who can turn into a stone beast. Is very good at pumping people up, and is also very loud. Close allies with Akane.

Teruteru: A chef who runs a popular restaurant with his mother. A little perverted and almost definitely has summoned a Succubus for a one night stand before.

World information

In this au mystical creatures are common and live along side humans. 

Magic is normal and most technology is fused with it.

The killing games never happened except for the first one still called the tragedy. Junko was stopped before her despair video could be released.  

Ultimates- These are genetically inherent talents that give the possessor unnatural abilities, making them a master at what they do. A curious thing also happens when their talent has awakened: Their Blood turns oddly pink. 

If forcefully awakened, artificially accelerated, or they get too overly obsessed with their talent, the ultimate will likely go insane/despair . ex. Junko

Hopes Peak has actually expanded to own a collage and is where this blog takes place most of the time. 

The collage is a mix of ultimate's (right side of the huge collage) and normal students (left side). It was created with the intent of finding those whose talents shown after high school, want to continue their education, couldn’t attended Hopes Peak High, and to help intergrade them within society. 

Makoto is head master, while Byakuya is co-head master. Kirigiri is Makoto’s assistant. They also practically run The Future Foundation. 

The Future Foundation basically scouts/tests for ultimate’s and keeps an eye on them to prevent another Junko from happening. 

Class 77 of Hopes Peak high go to this collage as Junko still made them despair. They were sent to Jabberwock Island for rehabilitation then were sent to the collage as a sort of permeate living space.

Future Projects

Just gonna share my future projects coming up, once I have more free time. And for the sake of my crappy memory, here’s a post about them.

 I have 2 (possibly 3) other AUs in the works and I need to stop- But for my own self-indulgence, I’m gonna reveal; 

Twilight Princess AU (honestly bc I’ve been watching GG) 

Werewolf AU (it ain’t Kaito, I like to mix it up haha, but it’s Saioumota bc I have yet to make an AU for it 👏)

Demon/Angel AU (this one i’m still on the fence about, not sure) 

Honestly, I gotta slow down like damn @ me. 

I also have Animatics/PMVs I want to make, and fanart for some amazing fanfiction I’ve come across! 

I even have a spotify playlist going on for the pmvs;

And for the fanfics, here’s some that I remember at the top of my head; 

Talk to Me by repressvisit, super angsty and the song was so good. You can see on my playlist that I have this song on there, and actually want to make a pmv just based off this fic alone. 

Nobody Said It Was Easy by golden-redhead , one of my favourite writers in the fandom, like their work is so good?? It was very interesting to see their perspective of what happens after the virtual reality. Kaito’s fear and avoidance was understandable and relatable?? I always love reading about Kaito being super exhausted of pretending to be the way he’s “suppose” to be, especially in front of Shuichi and Maki. Which is why he avoids them in the first place, but after so long and the reality hits him; they never really gave those high expectations, Kaito only really gave it to himself, so the relief he has when they tell him “it’s okay” is so nice,, You really feel it. AND I LOVE KOKICHI’S WAY OF COMFORTING, poor boy probably felt awkward in that situation where Kaito is breaking down, “pat pat”. Please give it a read before I make a full blown essay of this haha OH YEAH, my point being, i wanna draw the scene where they stargaze together, oh my god. 

Fear & Force by dykeenvy / kgglen on Ao3, another one of my favourite writers! This is a Hanahaki Disease fic that made me feel things,, we view things from Kokichi’s perspective and I love that since it made such an effect, on me personally, once you get to the ending of the fic. The surprising turnout. And in that moment, it’s very sweet,, I’m going to be drawing that particular scene, but I suggest you give it a read and maybe see what im talking about? 

There’s definitely more fics, but those have my biggest priorities currently, I look forward to these projects!
