I was thinking about my GI Johnny au (that’s the working title anyway) and I’m no closer to any actual plot, but I do know three things:

1. Johnny’s in Chozen’s military class:

2. The Air Force discipline is hard for Johnny to take seriously after Kreese’s betrayal.

(I tried color with this one and ended up with 2 alternatives:)

3. The Air Force definitely makes Johnny cut his hair :/ (but only so it doesn’t touch his collar, ears, or eyebrows apparently.) 

I--don’t know what actually happens, per say, but I definitely put him in the situation.

children portrayed in video games is always so strange to see.. it's always just a smidge off. they so rarely seem like they would gleefully beat the shit out of you if given half the chance. thinking about the tiefling kids you meet practicing swordplay mostly - the fact that not one of them tries to hit you with their fake weaponry is a travesty of immersion-breaking proportions

#TRUST ME AND MY CHILDCARE WORKER EXPERTISE. kids under 8 are very physical #and sometimes that means sitting on your lap #and sometimes that means coiling around your legs so you can't move #or just coming up and punching you (to practice their karate obviously) #or all manner of affectionate (?) and violent grapplings #most of the adults they interact with don't like the roughhousing so if you put up with it even a little bit they go Apeshit #to be fair they do need to be comfortable enough with you to start pulling that kind of behaviour #so they probably wouldn't want to do it to the player character #but STILL.
