hey. so i found your art post from last year (i think?) about zolaw and your 80k fic about law/zoro(/luffy), can you share the link to the fic? im interested to read. have a good time wherever you are!

hey, sorry for long time no response, and thank you so much for your interest!

so two funny things happened.

first, the original story in this trilogy, which is an "asexual but alloromantic Luffy paired with an allosexual but aromantic Law, with Zoro pining on the side" story, reached 2022 kudos in the year 2022. I meant to celebrate that, maybe I still will.

the second thing is that I *have* been working on the fic you asked about, albeit at the pace Being Alive in 2022 permits me to. and! I just hit 100K words on it! so that is 100K words of Law really really needing to apologize to his crew and doing anything but that, including the Law/Zoro(/Luffy) nonsense. it's called Antipyretic, and Law makes a lot of really really ill-advised choices and then has to deal with the consequences of that while trapped on a boat with his loved ones: his crew. it takes place on the journey from Zou to Wano in the Polar Tang and also includes extensive interactions with the Strawhats in residence, which folks seemed to really like in the original story (Acclimating) and is turned way up here. I really, really, REALLY am trying to finish Antipyretic this year. there will also be a third fic to round out the trilogy; it will be called Anodyne, it will deal with resolving the Law/Luffy/Zoro relationship all the way so it reaches a sustainable state, and it will take place post-Wano. yes, with all the stuff that has happened.

uhhhh anyway the short version is that the fic you asked about is not yet published but I am really really trying. trust me, once I get it out it will be all over my tumblr. thank you SO much for the ask!

I can't believe this. Even after 15 years now (Law first debuted around 2008-2009 in the manga) and probably almost a decade of Law and Zoro's longest interaction, there's no Firefighters x Medic AU starring Luffy, Law, and Zoro as the main pairing on AO3? Literally 0 fic in there? What is this. Why are there more fic with policeman!Zoro out there when you know being a firefighter is a much more noble freeing thing to do and something someone like Roronoa Zoro would rather be in a much more normal world. It's outrageous.

Not to mention the potentials that Firefighters x Medic AU has? The sheer hilarity that can cancel any form of angst it might produce just from imagining this tall, stressed and sleep-deprived paramedic/doctor, having to deal with these two unstoppable forces having concussion. The ridiculous conversation in the ER between the dazed Zoro who's just trying to save Luffy who's just trying to extract 10 or so people from burning building, all must be handled professionally by the Mr. Professional from North Blue itself, Trafalgar Law? The discordant flirting dynamics because this super tall doctor must be new around here, how could he be so dense when the two injured guys were just trying to get to know him better? But then again, Zoro is Zoro and Luffy is Luffy. Everyone Lives but honestly at what cost? Surely more new found families to be added for each of them.

yes hi hello I had a potentially life-threatening medical emergency over the weekend hence no daily doodles for two days but I am fine and here is a drawing

Hello friends I am taking a break from filling ask requests to do a DrawTheSquad thing! I found this pose and I just... had to.

Hoping to clean this sketch up and colour it eventually. In the meantime I have to decide whether to put clothes on Zoro or what as... I just... could not convince myself to do that....

Oh, fun fact, I drew this entirely without references except for Kikoku so... pretty proud! I’m getting back to being able to draw One Piece peeps!
