Mu Qing and Feng Xin - okay so these two were my immediate first thought, because like I feel like these two martial gods could fit the roles, with obvious personality changes, but the basic role, like they would fit well, and they are an iconic due to be beside our main couple

He Xuan and Shi Qingxuan - okay another iconic duo to star beside the main couple, and this was my second thought, primarily driven by He Xuan. Depending on who is the six finger man (I’m primarily torn between Ling wen and Shi wudu) then that whole story line fits in. You killed my family, prepare to die. Now Shi Qingxuan originally got pulled in because they are not only an iconic pair, but Shi Qingxuan and He Xuan as Ming Yi’s friendship, I feel like gives off somewhat similar vibes to Inigo and Fezzick

He Xuan and Yin Yu - if we aren’t looking at couple but at characters who would serve well beside Hua Cheng, then I like these two as an option. He Xuan still fulfills his role from above (and Shi Qingxuan kind of fills the elderly king kind of role then, the only person nice to buttercup in the castle kind of character, possibly eventually helps with escape) and then Yin Yu is a character who we often see taking orders from Hua Cheng. We know he was once a martial god as well, so he could fulfill the strength/ability to fight requirement.

Which leads me to my last option….

Yin Yu and Quan Yizhen - now with this one, Yin Yu would fulfill the role of Inigo, blaming the six fingered man and Jin Wu for his downfall, and Quan Yizhen would be Fezzick. This one is primarily on vibes. Big strong guy who follows smaller more nimble dedicated guy.
