We got home at like 6pm from spending Christmas at my aunt's. We left all our presents to do at home so we didnt have to people more than necessary. 👀
Everyone was so flippin tired. The kiddo crashed just before presents. We kind of had to open his for him. 😅
I got 4.5 hours of sleep last night. I've had 4 cups of coffee today. ..3 of which may or may not have had booze. (*￣∀￣)
I got fuzzy stripey socks. ಠﭛಠ
So bro got a second PS4 for the main tv so someone could play fortnite with the kiddo when he's upstairs.
I have Uka and Lele on his PS4 but I never play it because that's his room and console so I don't feel real comfortable playing. So I'm pleased to have a PS4 for the living room.
But the best thing now is my sister bought me an all in one Kingdom Hearts pack! Ive only played like 3 of the games, so I'm super stoked. I'm gonna start from the beginning. 😂
I thought Pokemon would be my favorite present since bro said he'd get it for me. But I was worried about all the glitches. So I told him to just wait for my birthday in 4 months. 👉👈
My youngest cousin has a 7 month old. We got to meet her today. Chubbiest-cheeked little redheaded baby I've ever seen. So cute. It was sweet seeing the niece and nephew play with her.
Omg the niece put her on her lap and got this "my ovaries are exploding" puppy-dog-eyed look on her face. Everybody was like
"NO! DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!" 😳😤
Oh yeah. Nephew only got one present at the aunt's house. And it was a figure he already had. So he was feeling cheated. He was bitching a lot. 🙄
Then cousin's SO/baby mama handed nephew a $20 bill.
Like, damn. Spoiled, much?
I think he did shut up after that though. 😅
Nephew got lots of stuff. I was excited for him to open his flappy headphones. He was kind of 'meh' about it until his mom demonstrated on her head so he could see. Then he made a happy sound and played with it. So I'm happy.
He was most interested in the cheap NYC shirt I got him. I got a super big one for him to sleep in it. He immediately put it on for intended purposes. 😋

This is to inform you Haja SUGRA I. LODHI UKA left us for heaven on the 19th of February 2023. The funeral was on the 23rd. Sister, cousin, aunty, and most of all, a beloved second mother to all of us. She was, will always be our Mama Susi. She was single, with no kids, but we all were her children. She took care of us, helped us, even when we were adults. She loved us, worried about us, like she would her own kids if she’d had them. Mama Susi, you will always be in my heart, my thoughts, my prayers. You were a mother, a friend to me. There was a complicity between us, a loving relationship. I miss you so much, Mama Susi. I love you, Sue. I want to thank you all, my loving family and friends, from my heart for your warm wishes, for your loving and caring support and prayers. Bless you. SIDE NOTE: The day of the funeral, I got up with excruciating stomach pains, but went to the funeral in Barcelona city, around 40/45 km from my hometown. Right after the funeral I was taken immediately to hospital emergency at my hometown. After an ultrasound, Scan, MRI and X-rays, I went through an urgent surgery. My Gallbladder had a lot of inflammation. No stones, only inflammation, so much that a surgery was necessary. I add to all this I hadn’t eaten in 6 days, I was on tea with milk and two digestive biscuits twice a day. And while my Mama Susi was hospitalised for two months, most of the times I barely ate either, what with the stress, the emotional drain, my back pains, I just couldn’t eat or sleep well. The surgeon told me the inflammation was due to all the stress, tension I had been through for months, years..a special case as my recovery was slower due to my back pains reflecting in front, hence why I was discharged 5 days later, instead of in two days after the surgery. But I’m feeling better, Alhamdulillah. Thank you, my dear family and friends, for your unconditional love and support and prayers throughout all these difficult moments and years. Bless you. Ang gara ng panaginip ko! Kanina kasi bago ako makatulog naka-basag ako ng mangkok, nadulas yung glass na baso kamay ko tapos nung hinabol ko ng salo tumama dun sa labi ng glass na mangkok kaya nagkaroon ng uka. Hindi ko na nakita yung bubog baka naanod na sa drainage ng lababo.
Tas sa panaginip ko, tumalsik daw yung bubog sa pagkain ko. Nalaman ko nalang nung may masakit sa gilagid ko sa baba, sa likod ng lips. Nakatusok daw dun kaya hinila ko. 2 yung nakuha ko dun. Tapos may masakit pa rin sa bibig ko, may nakuha pa akong mga bubog na nakabaon sa gilid, yung sa likod ng pisngi (kabilaan as in kaliwa't kanan). Sobrang sakit talaga ng bibig ko tapos nonstop yung bleeding kaya dura ako ng dura sa lababo. Sinabi ko daw kina mama yung nangyari. Hindi ko daw naramdaman na may bubog sa food ko kasi sumiksik daw agad sila sa gilid tas maliliit kaya di agad naramdaman. Tas na amazed daw ako kasi ang galing ng Lord. I'm praising Him kahit sa panaginip. Kasi pwedeng sa lalamunan ko tumusok yung mga yun e, o kaya malunok ko at sa bituka ko maminsala, pero sa gilagid at likod ng pisngi lang sila tumusok. Pero ramdam ko yung sakit, at lasang lasa ko yung dugo. Pasintabi po sa mga maseselan.
Tapos yung transition ng panaginip ko, nasa isang malaking room daw kami, parang manunuod ata kami, hindi ko sure kung theater o concert yun, nasa bandang likod kami tas may kasama akong babae, hindi clear kung ano ko sya pero sya daw yung kasama ko e, nasa likod nya ako. Tas sabi daw sakin nung bata, "Ikaw nalang mommy ko" ang kyut nung korean accent nya pero nakakaawa :( tapos sabi ko nalang, "patay tayo jan" tas ayun nagising na ako kasi ginising na ako ni mama.

A Tumblr list of music from a year when I barely listened to new music and barely used Tumblr. Most of my 2017 was dominated by a return to reading books, which I have never been able to do while listening to pop music: if I can’t my give full attention to it, I generally do without.
Doing without has been the major theme of my late thirties. I turned 40 at the end of the year: past time, no doubt, to get serious and stop emotionally investing in what is indisputably a young person’s game. But pop, especially global pop, keeps pulling me back. And honestly at this point I might as well finish out the decade.
