#LetsTalkAwareness #BehindTheLyric Was listening to #Westlife's #MyBlood and theres a particular lyric that speaks to me "You came home crying from school today. Walked past me, trying to hide the tears there on your face. It's hard for me to explain. How humans find the pleasure of causing people pain" It made me think of two things: 1. Was it talking about their children being #bullied and 2. Who the heck would dare bully our dear boys kids?! Overall I know this song was meant to be a message from a parent that despite not always being there for them they should always know that they are there in spirit and in blood, wow, thats so deep! I really love the depth of that. Years ago it was "I'm already there. Take a look around. I'm the sunshine in your hair. I'm the shadow on the ground. I'm the whisper in the wind. I'm your imaginary friend. And I know I'm in your prayers. Oh I'm already there" from their song I'm Already There. What I love about Westlife is the fact that their music transcends generation and most of the time they are wholesome if not romantic. But I digress. What I really want to talk about is BULLYING. As an #advocate for #MentalHealth one of the biggest issues our youth struggle today is bullying whether its physical, emotional, social, or cyber bullying. Maybe its because this topic also hits home for me. I'm grateful I wasnt bullied as bad as others who have been victims of the worst kinds of bullying but I was bullied neverthless (and interestingly by kids alot younger than me) when I was in middle school. I shared the bus with elementary students back then and I always dreaded going to school because the bus was always full and the young kids who were just the nastiest kids I've ever met. I've never been bullied by kids my age so I didnt understood what was these little twerps problem! What I learned growing up is 1) be kind to others even those who hurt you 2) always remember you have someone there for you even if you think you dont. Theyre in your blood: theyre your parents and 3) Words cut deep. Think before you speak and know the effect of your words and actions impact to others. Los lugares del cuerpo y el corazón

En la boca las sensaciones tenían otro sabor 

En la caricia la melodía era suave

En los pies que recorrían el camino 

El cuerpo que encontraba la serenidad 

En la mente que se encontraba desolada y vacía 

En la respiración estaba en completa calma

Los pensamientos que se desvanecían o desbordaban pero luego de un tiempo regresan al lugar correcto
