Jenny's song was definitely a highlight of the episode, but I legit thought for a hot second that Tyrion was gonna bust out "seasons of my love" and was disappointed when he didn't. Although nobody could actually do that song better than the Natti Vogel version.

Peter actually does have a good voice, though, and I would have liked to hear him sing. Recently I was looking through A Dance with Dragons and came across Tyrion telling Penny she doesn't want to hear him sing, which I had forgotten about, and I dunno, the idea of Tyrion belting out that song even though he has a terrible voice gives me feels.

On a recent all-night session at Ace Hotel New York, Natti Vogel wrote and recorded a song for voice and keyboard called 18. With his friend Jessica Clinton on hand to document the process (including the drawing above), Natti tapped into the melodies and musings from a recent journey. 

There were multiple points in the night where I thought I would collapse and be unable to finish the song. But the searing soul of this piece - which felt dictated to me from an ancient, timeless, higher octave of consciousness - basically a Kirie Eleison for queer romance, a plea to go back in time and heal our wounded, armored, bitter hearts - age 18 - and be admitted into the garden of romance in this new year of queer artist empowerment - ‘18.
