Katiedid Photography is the premier wedding photographer in the Outer Banks area. From engagement photography to bridal photography and for every moment in between, I work hard to capture your most tender and genuine emotions. Aside from my bridal photography, I also offer portrait studio sessions. I especially love capturing the beautiful coastal scenery around the OBX area and have some of the best beach photography in the area.

“Keep your face to the sun and you will never see the shadows.” Did you know that when natural sunlight hits the skin it triggers the body's production of vitamin D? Vitamin D is also known as “the sunshine vitamin.” It is a crucial ingredient for overall health; protects against inflammation, lowers high blood pressure, helps muscles, improves brain function and may even protect against cancer. When you expose yourself to natural sunlight you increase the brain’s release of a hormone called serotonin (happy hormone). Having low levels of serotonin may cause depression and seasonal affective disorder. Your challenge shall you choose to accept it is to get at least 10 minutes of sunlight each morning without sunscreen (which block uv rays) or sunglasses (which may cause light sensitivity and other issues).
