Pairing: Park Sunho / The Professor x Reader

Requested by @irishxgem: Hi, can I make a request? An imagine based off of Park Sunho(Professor) from Money Heist Korea. You and Sunho have been dating even before the heist and you go undercover at The Mint. Somehow, you get badly hurt and Sunho gets worried that he would love to be by your side, but he can’t blow his cover. You two eventually reunited again(maybe on the train) and kiss and whatnot. I hope that makes sense lol. Thank you ☺️

A/n: sorry for making this a headcanon, but it's all i could really muster for this atm given everything going on in my college life

Once again I want to apologize for making this a headcanon and not an imagine

But I’d rather have something to refer to later on if an expansion is requested rather than nothing

So into the actual headcanon we go

Sunho was adamant that you not get involved in the heist

The last he wanted was for you to be in even close to harm's way

Yeah he wanted to be honest with you about the entire thing

But he couldn’t do it

At least not initially

When you found out after a slip up on his part it’s you who insists on being another one of his eyes inside the Mint

You settled on going undercover as one of the hostages

Something that would make your safety more promising

At least in Sunho’s opinion

But leave it to that pesky director to ruin everything as per usual

And for you to act in the name of keeping your cover hidden

Leading to your getting a clean shot from a bullet in some crossfire

A clean shot though

That was something good in your opinion

Sunho on the other hand…

He was a different story

Panic had filled his entire being when he saw what happened through the live feed

He swore his heart stopped when he saw you stumble backwards from the force and others around you

And to make matters worse he wasn’t able to meet up with you like the others

You had been forced to leave the mint with the other hostages, it was your cover afterall

So much time apart without being able to contact one another was getting to be too much

Until you were able to recall the one part of the plan that had slipped your mind in the panic

The train

You needed to get to the train in order to see Sunho again before he was gone for good

It was a must

After so long without being able to lay eyes on each other

Standing before one another in front of the train was like a dream come true

Something straight out of a romance film

Something which was only confirmed by the passionate kiss you both shared regardless of the eyes on the two of you

Saying three words to one another for the first time, but not the last

“I love you.”

“Oppa!” Lisa shouted running up to Jaehyun “Lisa!”he smiled at her small figure running before hugging her “did you bring her?” Lisa asked looking behind him to see if he brought her doll “Ah I think I forgot it again” he said looking at her Lisa looked disappointed pouting while looking at the grass “But guess what” jaehyun said making Lisa look at him with tears in her eyes “I brought you a bigger and cuter doll!” Jeahyun said showing her the doll that was behind his back making Lisa scream happily “Ah!! It’s so pretty ooppa thank you!” She said hugging him “ Lisa let’s go to the park now” Jeahyun said dragging her to the park “Let’s go on the swings first!” Lisa said “Okay last one there is a rotten egg” jaehyun said before he started running “ya wait I wasn’t ready!” Lisa shouted running behind him she soon caught up to him and sat on the swing “Let me push you” Jeahyun said getting off his swing “Thank you but don’t push me too high okay”she said holding tightly on the chains “So how are your thing at home?” Jeahyun said making Lisa’s smile drop Jeahyun noticed this and stopped pushing her “your dad is still beating your mom up?” Jaehyun asked standing in front of her “Yes…but don’t tell anyone okay”she said looking at Jeahyun who’s face seemed to be mad “but if I tell my mom maybe he’ll be arrested and you’ll be safe” Jeahyun said holding her arm making her smile “No my mom said I shouldn’t say anything” she said looking down “and I’m safe when I’m with you so you should STAY WITH ME okay Oppa” she said looking at him with a smile “Okay Lisa let’s go it’s late now” he said taking her hand

PRESENT TIME~

“Lisa you’re late…again” the teacher said with an annoyed tone “Sir I have a good reason this time” she said walking up to him “what is it then?” He asked putting him pen down “Well you see as I was walking to school I heard someone screaming in an alley and of course me being a good nosey person I went over to look at the person but then as I got there I saw two man holding a gun okay so like y’all know I’m very fearless you know” Lisa said looking at the class making them nod “Yeah so like I went over to them and said ‘Ya how dare you beat up an old man don’t you have any manners’ then they pointed their guns at me I was shocked Sir like shocked but then I wasn’t gonna let them beat up a man so I sprinted towards them one of them pulled the trigger but with my great reflexes I dodged the bullet and then-” “Lisa go sit down” the teacher said not believing her story “but sir I’m not done telling my heroic story” she said “do you want to go to detention” she asked taking off his glasses “no” she blankly said “then go sit down”

“Wow!” Jeahyun said sitting down in the cafeteria seat “I know right I’m pretty awesome” Lisa said sipping on her milkshake “no I mean Wow as in no one would ever believe that story” he said smiling at her “y’all are just haters” she said eating her dumpling, “hey guys…Sorry I’m late Mr Lee refused to let me go out” THEO said sitting down next to Lisa “Why…you didn’t clean again?” Jaehyun asked looking at him “Maybe…but that doesn’t matter right now what matters is that he kept me inside the class…that’s like violating my right for FREEDOM!” Theo said slamming his chopsticks on the table “You’re right…he should be reported!” Lisa said siding with him “we should tell the principal!” Theo said standing up making Lisa stand up with him “About what?” A sudden voice asked they both looked to their side revealing Mr Lee looking at them both angrily both their eyes widened “both of you are coming with me” Mr Lee said grabbing both of their ears making them whine “ahh Were sorry we didn’t mean it” Theo said holding Mr lee’s hand that was holding his head “how about you say what you said at the principals office” He said dragging them both “I HAVE THE RIGHT TO SAY NO!!!” Lisa said before they left the classroom, Jaehyun sat there laughing at his two idiot friends

Jaehyun walked to the school’s garden making his way to his girlfriend Yuna who was waiting for him sitting on a bench “how can you be so beautiful every time I see you” Jaehyun said sitting next to her, Yuna smiled at her Boyfriend’s compliment “Yah stop your making me fall for you even more” she said holding her heart making a pouty face , Jaehyun then got close to her and kissed her cheek “well my beautiful girlfriend… Happy Birthday!” He said taking out a box from his bag he gave it to her making her gasp at how beautiful it was “OH MY DAYS!! you got me my favorite bag” she said hugging the bag “Wow don’t I deserve a hug?” He asked opening his arms Yuna chuckled and hugged him tightly “oh yeah” she said letting go of him “ I’m having a party tonight can you please come” she asked holding his hand “sure I would never miss your party’s” he said kissing her

21:15pm

“Jaehyun you came!” Yuna shouted hugging him “of course I told you I’d come” he said smiling at her “cough cough!!” Lisa said making them both look at her “oh you guys are here also” Yuna looked at them both “Of course we came this is our friend’s girlfriend’s party so we didn’t want him to come alone he might get bored” Theo said walking inside the house “Thanks for inviting us” Lisa said before asking Theo to wait for her “We’ll how about we go in” Jaehyun said pulling her to the dance floor, The night was pretty wonderful for the two lovers they were both holding each other closely as if it was their last dance it was going great until… “ Umm Testing Testing!!” A guy said grabbing the crowd’s attention “oh no” Yuna said letting go of Jaehyun “Hey GUYSS!!! my names Yeonjun and I’m Yuna’s “Ex boyfriend” as she calls me…tonight I want to tell you all about her” Yeonjun said pointing at her making everyone look at her including Lisa and Theo “ Yuna here is a cheater,She-She is cheating on me with him, the dude holding her right now” he said making Jaehyun look at Yuna “is that true Yuna?” He asked letting go off her Yuna looks at him shaking her head violating “No? You’re saying no?!” Yeonjun asked angrily “NO!!! You’re lying we’re not even dating” Yuna defended herself Yeonjun took out his phone from his back pocket “well then let’s see what everyone would think after listening to this” he said before playing a voice note

“Who’s that guy you were busy with yesterday?” Yeonjun asked “he’s just a friend of mine he’s not that important anyway,look Yeonjun I’d never cheat on you okay you’ve got to trust me okay” Yuna said

Jaehyun looked at Her in disbelief eyes full of hurt and betrayal Lisa and Theo both ran up to him “Are you okay hyun?” Lisa asked holding his face making him look at her, her eyes softened at the sight in front of her Jaehyun’s eyes full of tears “I’ve got to go” He said removing Lisa’s hand and pushing through the crowd “come on let’s go” Theo said before they both left the house “Jaehyun wait” Theo said grabbing his hand “I-I can’t believe how stupid I was to believe she ever loved me” Jaehyun said bawling his eyes out “No don’t cry…Hyun it’s gonna be okay,look she wasn’t even that pretty anyway” Lisa said trying to cheer him up but failed “ get in the car” Theo said chasing her away Lisa pouted and walked to his car “Look Hyun I get that your heartbroken and betrayed but you have to accept it,okay it wasn’t meant to be no matter how much you love her you have to let her go” Theo said holding his shoulders “but how-how can I let her go when I love her so much?” “That’s the problem with you, hyun no matter how much you love someone you have to let them go Yeonjun revealed that she doesn’t love you…don’t you know how boring a one sided relationship can be? It’s the worst” Theo said chuckling making Jaehyun wipe his tears and laugh “Yeah…you’re right” Jaehyun said looking at him with a smile “okay then let’s goo” Theo said dragging him to his car “finally you guys are done..are you okay Hyun?” Lisa asked as soon as they both sat down “yeah I’m great guys thank you for being there for me” He said almost crying “Of course don’t sweat it” Lisa said hitting his arm making him whine “okay guys lets get out of here” Theo said starting the engine

“Okay guys imma head out” Theo said standing up “so early?” Lisa said pausing the the game her and Jaehyun were playing “yah!! I was about to win!” Jaehyun shouted pouting at her “as if” Lisa said rolling her eyes “yeah my mom’s waiting for me” Theo said grabbing his bag and waving goodbye to them “well since I won this game how about karaoke?” Lisa asked holding out a mic for him Jaehyun smiled “Challenge accepted” he said standing up Lisa went to her phone and searched for a song “don’t choose some cringe song” Jaehyun said getting ready “Nahh I won’t imma play a song that’s needed right now” Lisa said before playing IRREPLACEABLE BY BEYONCÉ “Wah you evil smart thing” He said getting ready “we’ll let’s start!!” Lisa said walking up to him

“DONT YOU EVER FOR A SECOND GET TO THINKING YOU’RE IRREPLACEABLE!!!!!!” Jaehyun sang his heart out making Lisa laugh as the song ended “wow who knew you could sing” she said before going to her bed and lay on it then followed an exhausted Jaehyun they both sat in silence for a few moments “so what are you gonna do about her?” Lisa finally broke the silence looking at Jaehyun “well…I don’t know yet but I do know that I’ll get over her eventually sooner of later” he said looking at her making eye contact with each other neither of them broke it Lisa was scared, scared that Jaehyun could hear her heart beating loudly, she never told anyone this but through out these years with each each other she’s caught feelings for him “You okay?” Jaehyun asked making her stand up “what of course I am why would you ask that?” She asked laughing “your face is red” he said standing up “did you catch a flu?” He asked touching her forehead “N-No no I’d didn’t” she said face getting redder “really then why is your face heating up?” He asked concerned “I-Yeah yeah I caught a flu, so I’ll go sleep on the couch okay it’ll fade away after I wake up again” she said walking to the door “No I can’t let you sleep on the couch it’s cold there you should sleep her come on” Jaehyun said dragging her to bed before tucking her in and turned off the light “okay goodnight then” Lisa said before going to sleep suddenly she felt two arms snake around her waist pulling her closer “w-what are you doing?” Lisa asked turning her head around to look at him “I’m keeping you warm now sleep” he said snuggling into her neck “no no this is not appropriate I’ll go sleep on the couch” lisa said getting out of bed Jaehyun held her wrist before she could leave “Please Lisa,I need you right now” Jaehyun said begging him Lisa couldn’t decide yes she loved and cared for Jaehyun that whenever he’s going through something she’d be there for him but then again she was afraid that her feelings for him would become uncontrollable “please Lisa please STAY WITH ME” Jaehyun said tears starting to flow down his soft cheeks the sight made Lisa heartbroken her best friend needed her the least she could do is to be there for him “okay” she finally gave in and got in bed again not daring to look at him she looked the other way “thank you” Jaehyun said before holding her closer again this time Lisa was sure he could hear her heart beating “good night Lisa” he said kissing her cheek… Lisa couldn’t fight it anymore her heart exploded with love she finally gave in to the feeling of being in love with Jaehyun but what will she do now she doesn’t want to ruin her friendship with him, should she tell him or should she just keep it a secret she wasn’t sure if Jaehyun liked her back but little did she know the boy behind her was panicking even more than her glad that she couldn’t see the blush creeping up his face.

When a Thousand Moons Rise (Webcomic)

Phew, man this one is going for a ride. It's a reincarnation story with a lot of gore and suspense, and also werewolves? Lots of things are going on here and the mystery here keeps you on your toes. As of now there are about 60 or so chapters and there's a lot of worldbuilding in terms of the reincarnation aspect.

The story starts out with a bang as Nogyung Lee is buying a gift for her dad, only to have a a bus drive into the mall to try to kill her. She is saved by an angelic figure before the bus driver is killed and she is sent to the hospital. We learn fairly quickly that these types of accidents are common with her, earning her the rumors that she's cursed. Nogyung is also able to turn into a werewolf creature during the full moon, which causes her much turmoil as she just wants to be a normal person. She has a one sided crush on her classmate Sunho for a long time, and can't seem to let him go even when it's obvious that he has a crush on another girl named Dasom in her class. Meanwhile, the angelic figure that Nogyung Lee saw has gone about and killed off another man who seemed to have reincarnated and is about to find her. As she struggles in her school life, there is a detective that has been going around learning more about Nogyung and the various accidents that happened around her, as well as the various stories that are spread around this town- specifically about two lovers and a village that was burned down. Nogyung also struggles to remember a memory of her mother, who was running away with her to protect her from someone before she died. Nogyung nearly dies from her nut allergy after Dasom secretly puts nuts in her sandwich, leading to two boys, Dail and Yisun to save her by injecting her with allergy medication. Soon after this instance, Sunho and Dasom official go out, leading to them inviting everyone to karaoke. She ends up going home on a bus with Sunho when one of the people on the bus attempts to try to kill her. Dail ends up protecting her along with another blue eyes male, who seems to know that Nogyung is a wolf. The detective on the other hand starts to piece together what's going on with the reincarnation story and the story of the island as he investigates all of these occurrences. The blue eyed male seems to have connections with Nogyung's mother and has come to protect her from being killed and/or taken away by the angel, Nuni. He slowly teaches Nogyung to embrace her wolf form, and her dad becomes more protective over her. Dali and Yisun move to her school and protect her from bullying attempts and Yisun asks her to be his girlfriend. Nogyung continues to gain memories of her past life when she sleeps, seeing Yisun as her husband in her previous life.

While at school, a police officer possessed by his reincarnation comes to shoot out the school to find her, resulting in one of her classmates dead. The blue eyed uncle, Dali and Yisun try to break into the school to save her, while one of her classmates, Rina seems to know about Nogyung's wolf form. Yisun is able to save Nogyung from the attacker before being almost shot himself, leading to Nogyung using her wolf form to attack him. After she's discharged from the hospital her father and the blue eyes uncle tell her the story about this island. There was once a wolf girl named Otoko that fell in love with a human- however, the demons hidden in his village did not approve since it would reveal their identity. To protect the new life they had, they set out to kill the two. Afterwards, an angel creature named Nuni came to the village with the wolf girl in her arms, killing everyone in the village. The curse starts that every time the wolf girl reincarnates, the monsters and Nuni would as well, leading to a never ending cycle of bloodshed. Nogyung will never know who may betray her, whether it be her friends or some random person who will come to try to kill her, thus why her mother attempted to lock herself in the house basement to prevent herself from hurting her daughter. Sunho it seems has been possessed by one of the demons, leading the dad to lock him in the basement to prevent her from hurting Nogyung. Nogyung goes to visit Rina, whom seems to know more than she lets in on. She tells the story of her grandmother who was friends with Nogyung's previous reincarnation. She saw Nuni take her friend away at a bus stop after killing one of the reincarnations, and has since counted when she would be reincarnated again. We learn that Nuni is actually a spirit connected to the mountain, and that if the mountain is destroyed (which it currently is due to construction) then Nuni will die as well, stating that Nuni isn't much of an angel, since he's keeping her in this cycle of reincarnation. The last couple of chapters detail Sunho breaking out and trying to resist the hold the demon has on him.

There is a lot going on with this series, but I got to say, I love how the story builds up how the reincarnation works, and all of the mysteries, from the angel that she sees to suddenly being turned into a werewolf. While we have a general idea of what is going on based on hints, the story that's told by her father really solidifies all of the things that are going on. There is thrill and terror on the series when we do see these reincarnations go after her, often with various types of foreshadowing, so when everything does go on, we have the context of what is going on. It seems to mix the supernatural and slice of life fairly well, as this is Nongyum's life- on the one hand having to deal with all of the various accidents that happen around her while on the other having to deal with her various unrequited crushes. The artwork I think also shows how beautiful it can be while also showing the gore that happens to the various unfortunate people who were possessed by the demons. It must be terrifying knowing that anyone can just turn into one of the demons that will come to kill you, even those who are your family or friends. There are still a lot of mysteries to unfold such as how the detective fits in with all of this, who was chasing Nongyum and her mother that one night as well as what happened to her mother and who exactly the blue eyed wolf man is.

Nongyum as a protagonist feels very realistic for a high schooler, more focused on the life that she has at school, having fun with her friends and having various crushes, but there's also a sadness of having always being afraid that people won't accept her because of her wolf form, and those that are afraid of her because of her curse. It's not very fair to her that she was simply born in this cycle, only to be constantly in danger from the people whom she trusts and to be tied with Nuni so intricately. While she is more of a kind and often playful person, as the story goes on she becomes a lot more focused, attempting to learn about her powers of a wolf and probably going on to get rid of Nuni, or those that hurt her love.

Dali and Yisun are likely the reincarnations of Nuni and Otoko's husband as based on their birthmarks, though it's not entirely clear if that's true. Dali with his white hair is likely Nuni's reincarnation, but it's strange because in the instances we see Nuni, he is his own person, saving Nongyun from the bus accident far before we ever see Dali and based on Rina's grandmother's telling, also took her previous reincarnation in his angel form. Nongyun and Dali are drawn together though, so in some case or another, they likely are connected by fate, as mentioned multiple times in the story before. Yisun on the other hand is completely convinced of this, always flirting with Nongyun, but based on recent chapters, as much as Nongyun likes him, she feels that the two are not a fated pair, which will likely lead to their breakup in the future.

Nuni and the husband are interesting because I'm not exactly sure how they are connected. From the story, after the villagers killed Otoko and her husband, Nuni suddenly appears carrying her into the village before destroying it. So I'm not sure what Nuni's connection is with the husband or Otoko. Based on the first couple of chapters, the two originated from the forest and Otoko made a promise with Nuni when he was smaller that they would be together, with the "rings" that they made from grass turning into the birthmarks that they have in the current life. It does make me wonder why Nuni would allow the Otoko to marry the human husband since he seems so very attached to her, though perhaps there can be more than meets the eye. Nuni while trying to protect Otoko also seems okay with just murdering everyone in the village, regardless if they are a demon or not, wiping pets, livestock and the demons off the face of the earth. The curse was started by the demons and Nuni after all, with each reincarnation that Nuni has to go and protect Otoko's next incarnation. Nuni seems to be fairly obsessed with Otoko as depicted initially in the first chapter, so while he's not specifically interested in Nongyun as a person, he is obsessed with her as the reincarnation of his beloved. He seems pretty pleased constantly being in this cycle of death and rebirth since it means that the two can be together forever, even kidnapping the previous reincarnation for 47ish years just to (presumably) protect her. Unfortunately we don't know too much about Nuni as of yet, but hopefully as it goes on we will.

Overall, this is a really cool series to read. There's gore, slice of life, lots of mystery and a good use of reincarnation that is fun to read. If you are interested in this, please read it.
