Taking A Break!

Hey y’all!!

Unfortunately, as I’ve mentioned, I’ve had little to no time to write between school & work & everything, and recently I’ve been getting sick (likely because of stress) and!! I’m worried I’m going to burn out if I keep this up :<

So! I’m going to be taking a break until at least January, and maybe even a tad longer after that. I might stick around to answer some asks here & there, but I don’t think I’m going to be as active as usual

As for the commission queue, the order of the wait list is going to stay the same, and if, throughout my break, you become interested in a commission, you can still message me and I’ll add you to the wait list ^^

hiii! is there a reason you chose to use patreon over ko-fi? i’d like to start something like that but i’m anticipating more one-off tips and sales of pdfs than subscriptions maybe. i’m totally new to monetizing my art but i think u and ur platform are very cool so if you have any advice i’d appreciate it :)

hey! so i did actually use ko-fi before i switched to patreon, and honestly i found it quite nice to use! the main reason why i switched is because i think more people generally use patreon (on the patron end), and also i think there's a couple quality of life benefits on patreon (i could totally be misremembering, but i think people can't comment on ko-fi posts? and also i think its a little harder to get in touch with supporters if needed thru ko-fi...but again, haven't used it since 2022, so i could be wrong about that as well). i also like the video integration on patreon, i like being able to post timelapses on there w/o having to upload it to youtube first. but i think ko-fi is also a great option! since i was interested in having a membership sort of thing, patreon ended up being a bit more successful, but for tips and selling digital stuff, ko-fi works well for sure :)

I got some sticker envalopes send-backs today (aka postal service couldnt deliver them to kofi/patreons for some reasons) and I would like to know why an envalope that was being delivered to someplace an hour from me, took 3 weeks to get back to me after not being delivered :D

No blame on postal workers who are understaffed and busy rn but like, oh man

I'm on one hell of a wacky sleep schedule as of late, and with my fists clenched I go in trying to correct it! Hopefully it won't take too long to do so. I hate feeling like i'm awake during the dead hours and would like to answer asks when I get them and post while this side of the internet is more awake lol. I've got a special illustration ready to go up as well, with the big version of it going up on the patreon-- the saturated, undarkened version of the huge backdrop that I used on the last update's pages will also be available and... possibly one of my paper design dolls that I use for designing outfits? so, likely the intact .psd (Audric's is the only one that's actually fully clean that I could slap up with minimal tinkering...but I was thinking either his or Elias'. If I make these files available, it'll finally be an excuse to fully update/overhaul Maia's lol...)
