teal mask/indigo disc kieran theory/thoughts (SPOILERS)
earlier, i was thinking about the ending of the teal mask (with kieran's dramatic about-face from practically being in love with the mc to deciding they're his mortal enemy now), and how carmine mentions a few times how he seems to be acting out of character
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
she asks you if "most people act up like that" and seems troubled when you say it's abnormal, even calling it "a bit scary", seemingly at a loss and not having seen this type of behaviour before, even if he does have a "bit of an ego" as she mentioned while ruminating on this, i remembered the part in the violet book where heath mentions finding pages of notes that he doesn't remember writing, having a dream of meeting something he doesn't remember
Tumblr media
what this says to me is that there is a possibility of some sort of possession-stuff going on with terapagos, or has happened in the past, and something similar could be happening to kieran
i wonder if the reason the loyal three were resurrected is because kieran subconsciously wished it in some way, like some sort of thought to himself where he wished to be stronger or if he could defeat them himself to earn ogerpon's trust, or hurt the pokémon that hurt her. i just find it interesting it exploded and they came back after he came near it and punched it (touching it, in that way) it seems at least, that the loyal three might have some connection to terapagos due to the descriptions under the three of them, specifically the wording of "wish", and evidently there's terastal energy and tera crystals present in kitakami so it's influence is present there
Tumblr media
my friend also pointed out that on the signboards around kitakami depicting the folktale, there seems to be a boy with a pokéball commanding the loyal three, seemingly wearing the toxic chain the loyal three have (and they don't have them in this depiction), when in the story it's never implied they ever had a trainer or owner
Tumblr media
this is probably reaching or tangential, but it's also interesting that he's the one with the violet/purple undercolour to his hair, the same colour as the chain (yes it's meant to parallel violet, but it could be multiple references) it wouldn't be the first time a character was intoxicated by poisons that heavily influenced their personality *coughs* lusamine *coughs* as well as sword in pokémon special via eternatus's poison in regards to him pulling his hair back at the end

Seriously tho, who decided that BB Academy should have been based in Unova? I just want to talk, I promise.
There's just so many weird coincidental (?) ties back to Kalos that feel like a missed opportunity, especially since XY were, imo, the most sidelined games in the series. (No third version, no sequel, no DLC, when every other set got at least one of those.)
But my friend and I were talking about how there's Tera Raid Den crystals forming under the wild area dome, and how Spain and France border each other in the real world, so it would make sense of the crystals appeared there too, and how the rumored Toxic Chain trio-master could be a Diancie/Carbink situation with Glimmet/Glimmora, and how Glimmora (and a possible more powerful mutation potentially sharing the same type) counters both Xerneas and Yveltal, but is countered by Zygarde, and the rumors from Carmine that the crystals from the Crystal Pool might be tied to reviving the dead, albeit in a different manner than the Ultimate Weapon (which is composed of crystal and has a similar texture to the ones found in Area Zero), stuff like that.
I'm just saying, I feel that if they leave the Indigo Disk storyline ending open enough, they could definitely take us to Kalos again for a potential third part. Like, some grand epic conclusion.

The Eternal Flower Files: Sacred Geometry
Tumblr media
Eternal Flower Floette is the mysterious, special Floette that AZ inherited from his late mother. It wields a strange, ancient red flower that holds terrifying power:
"Terrifying energy is concealed within its ominous flower, but Floette still swings it about innocently." (UltraMoon)
So. What is the Eternal Flower?
We associate flowers with the cycle of life in general - they bloom, they wilt, and then the plant grows again. When it comes to the symbolism around Eternal Flower, we see this theme of "life, death, and rebirth" over and over, likely referring to Floette's resurrection.
Tumblr media
Flowers are a prominent symbol in Sacred Geometry. In some New Age beliefs, the ancient Flower of Life pattern symbolizes life, death, and rebirth, as well as the interconnected universe. The pattern maps onto the Eternal Flower pretty well.
Tumblr media
Eternal Flower model from The Models Resource.
Certainly Eternal Flower Floette is powerful and significant in the lore, but this connection might suggest that the Eternal Flower itself has broader powers than just destroying things.
Many flower symbols are drawn with overlapping circles, which represent a continuous, eternal cycle. When writing about the Flower of Life, people often compare the progression of each phase of the pattern to cell division. What Pokemon do we know that represents cells?
Tumblr media
Source: Flower of Life Construction, image by Tomruen
Another major flower symbol is the triquetra, an ancient trinity symbol that comes from three overlapping circles. (Shown in the third phase of the Flower of Life diagram.) The Eternal Flower is made up of three triquetrae, really emphasizing the number three:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In many Christian denominations, the triquetra symbolizes the Holy Trinity. In Celtic tradition, the triquetra, or the trinity knot, can, again symbolize the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. There is also a stylized triquetra on either side of AZ's Ultimate Weapon:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My approximation of the Ultimate Weapon symbol.
This is yet another connection between the Eternal Flower and the Ultimate Weapon - besides the fact that it blooms into a giant version of the Eternal Flower. Did AZ use the power of the Eternal Flower to build the Ultimate Weapon?
The Flower of Life pattern also seems to point to a strong relationship between Eternal Flower Floette and Zygarde. It's actually an effective symbol for Zygarde, considering how people compare the phases of the Flower of Life to cell division. Also, each individual bloom in the of the Flower of Life pattern is hexagonal.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Zygarde pic from Bulbapedia.
Every inch of Zygarde is a hexagon. Imagine, each of them as a continuing Flower of Life pattern the same way a palace wall is covered with it.
If Xerneas and Yveltal symbolize life and death, then Zygarde fittingly represents rebirth, as a collection of cells that can take a number of forms. This also fits the title "Z-A" which many fans have taken to mean "the end, and a new beginning". That begs the question: what is beginning? What is being reborn?
...
Check out my theory that Zygarde used to be the Tree of Life, as well as my other posts about Pokemon Legends: Z-A here:
Xerneas and Yveltal are Fungi: Let Me Explain
Poll: What Does the Λ in Legends Z-A Symbolize?
Pokemon Legends Z-A: What Is the Λ?
Aaah, it's an A! Is the A in Z-A the Tree of Life?
How much longer am I going to have to wait for a freakin' Unova remake?!

Nemona not having a rival until the player shows up is interesting to me. Throught the pokemon world, people always talk about how having a rival is an amazing and important thing, and we've had one throughout the entire series. But Nemona hasn't. My theory is that she wanted Arven to be her rival, but he wasn't into the gym challenge, so she went by herself. So, having a new kid appear who's never done the challenge themself was probably super exciting to her, which could also be another reason she restarted her journey.

DD's theory corner time-
I think Kieran is under some influence of a Pokémon that's making him lose it. Energy distorts around his fists when he clenches and punches things- a purple aura in fact.
You know what purple is associated with in Pokémon? Psychic or Poison. The Loyal three are retainer pokemon, and we've yet to meet the "peach boy" from the Momotaro story that this is based on. These retainers, all poison type, all resurrected from the grave that glowed when Kieran punched it, all were pathetic until they received their Toxic Chains.
This isn't the first time a poison type has affected the mind- look back at Lusamine and how her mind was poisoned by Nihiligo's toxins. It could be that a powerful enough poison type legendary- a trio master- could be mimicking this.
Now he's the extra interesting part: Kieran isn't the first to just absolutely lose it in pursuit of their goal, and isn't the first to act selfishly over it either. This erratic behavior reminds me of the Professors, who tried their damn best to ensure their time machine kept functioning, even at the cost of the ecosystem, their own lives, and worst off- their own family.
So this theory of mine: Terapagos is only part of the puzzle, probably just the Terastilizing half- there's another pokemon that seems to want to help people and pokemon achieve their goals, but it seems to come with Monkey Paw type effects. We were too late to help Arven's parents, but maybe not for Kieran.

So, the other day, me and my friends were speculating what the starters for Legends Z-A will be, and our theory ended up as Sprigatito, Torchic, and Sobble, running on the idea of the aristocracy (Sprigatito, cats being seen as high class and the perfume powers and the Fleur de Lis), the civilian (Torchic: livestock animal/farming, chickens being a huge symbol of France), and the revolutionary (Sobble, sorrow followed by secrecy and then fighting back)
I wanted to bring this up because we promptly got the mental image of Les Mis Inteleon with a water rifle over a barricade and I want to share that with you, too.

any milotic facts? :D
(@heart-scales)
Milotic Facts
Tumblr media
(Art by Arashi-H on Deviantart)
-The genus name for Milotic is “Regalecus Purus” which roughly translates to “Pure Royal”
-Because their scales can reflect any color of the rainbow, they are often symbols of the LGBTQ+ community
-Old Hoenn fairytales state that Milotic were mermaids disguised ad serpants
-While Milotic tend to live in lakes, there are salt water variants. These salt water variants are bigger and have more muscle to push against the current
-In Hoenn, many old artwork have depictions of Milotic in them. The most common ones were fans made to replicate the tails of Milotic. These fans were really expensive and mostly held by the upperclass and royalty
-While they are very similar to Gyrados and seen as counterparts, Gyrados is more related to the Dragalage line than the Milotic line
-The antenna on Milotic help it sense the cleanliness of water and how safe it is to live in
-Because their scales can get dry easily, Milotic will use their tails to fan and splash water in their bodies when near the surface or on shallow waters
Tumblr media
-Luckily for Milotic, Meat made from them tastes really bad and can make you sick, so not many things eat them
-Milotic have the dormant genes needed to be fairy type and dragon type. Some others have been found to have dormant genes for the flying type as well
-Feebas and Milotic are often used to for "The ugly Ducklet becomes a beautiful Swanna" stories
-There are myths of Milotic scales being able to bring love and beauty
-Like most fish Pokemon, Milotic only fertilize eggs after they hatch
-Milotic throats are about the size of two quarters, and they only eat small foods because of this
-Going back on the mermaid thing, there have been old statues of a humanoid being with features of a Milotic. Historians believe it might've been an ancient forgotten God Hoenians worshipped

Everyone, prepare to be victim to my thoughts. Additionally, I both do and do not apologise for the sheer amount of special interest that I may have unleashed, upon you all.
So, Pokemon: Legends Z-A!
My thoughts include, but most definitely are not limited to:
-My impeccable theorycrafting suggests that this game takes place in the Pokémon universe equivalent of 1853-1870, as the trailer reveals that Lumiose City has plans or is undergoing a large-scale urban redevelopment plan. Some of us have made the connection between this and the redevelopment of Paris by Georges-Eugène Haussmann, former Prefect of Seine, in this timeframe.
You see, when you complete the Pokédex in Pokémon: Legends Arceus, the game states that you have completed the first-ever Pokédex, which in turn means that all subsequent Legends games should take place after this event in Hisui. Of course, this could be retconned, ignored, or explained away, but I do not see these as likely. PLA takes place roughly ~200 years in the past, or so I have heard, which means that PLZA (I love this new acronym) probably takes place approximately 30-50 years after PLA in time.
-I have heard talk that this game will take place entirely within Lumiose City (and most likely its surrounding areas), surely in no small part because of a tweet by Nintendo America. I would be…interested in how that would play out, and would much rather see the whole of Kalos included in this game. Having said that, the idea of one massive city receiving that much attention and detail-especially one of the most detailed cities in the franchise-is very, very interesting. Besides, I like the aesthetic.
-Kalos ancestors Kalos Ancestors KALOS ANCESTORS
-Serena is back in the spotlight, isn’t she..? Well, I must say that I am happy for that. And everything about this.
-The “3,000 years” meme has absolutely overtaken everything, it just fits so well, and I honestly feel a little like AZ right now…(The “Why are you crying” meme is similar in all of these regards. Plus, it has a meta-level of humour with the quote being from XY.)
I will be preparing this game the moment I can, and watching with anticipation as more information is released. I now have the personal goal of reaching a competence with my drawing skills, so that I can create everything that I want by the time the game releases ! Thank you all for listening :)

Since you asked me. Who do you think will be in the Pokemon Legends Z-A starter line-up?
That's something that has been living in my mind rent free for the past few days.
It took me a while to have my guesses, but after so many videos and many things I researched, I have my own set of ideas.
(there are possible spoilers here below)
First things first, I want to say that, although it is possible that the final starters have new regional forms, it is equally, if not more, probably that the starters will instead have mega evolutions. Mega evolution is the most beloved mechanic and many people wanted more starters (besides Hoeen and Kanto) to get megas.
And since it has been rumored that Jynx will get a mega due to audio files found in pokemon home, probably more pokemon will be getting new megas.
The megas instead of regional forms makes so that the starters for Legends-Z are none else than... the regular Kalos starters.
Considering this is probably set after Legends Arceus, it is very possible that Lumiose reasearchers already have the means of capturing their own region starters.
Besides, Delphox and Chesnaught deserve some more attention. And, it was always a bit ironic the region of megas didn't have starters with one.
But, in case we have starters from other regions, my assumptions are.
Grass Starter: Snivy. I am 99% sure that, if we have starters from other regions, Snivy will be the grass one. Snivy was inspired by European Empires (like Emboar was inspired by Chinese and Samurott by japan), the fleur-de-lis and it is a pure grass type in it's final form. It can both get a regional form or mega with a secondary Dragon type.
Water type: Piplup. Besides being one of the most beloved water starters, Empoleon was inspired by Napoleon. Gamefreak would be fumbling bad. Since Empoleon already has two types, and is already very French, I think it would work best with a mega.
Fire Types
Torchic: Simple, the rooster is the symbol animal of France. Besides, since the starters will probably have megas instead of regional forms, having one of the starters with a known mega would probably be good advertisement for the game. (Mega Blaziken fans would be interested in buying the game and checking new evos).
Litten: Litten is a starter that has basically nothing to him. No mega, no gigantamax and so on... (just a Z-move, but, people don't care much about it). Since he basically has no fun gimmick. Game Freak could give him a new fun mega! They probably would keep his type, though...
Scorbunny: It turns out that soccer is really important to France. Besides, since he is pure fire, a secondary type could also help him out. I can imagine a Fire/Fairy mega or regional form with a magician theme (France has magicians, and magicians use rabbits for their tricks).
Last, but not least, wanted to state that this pokemon game is probably inspired by a renovation Paris went through beween 1852 and 1870. So, there might be something related to that period.
But, deep down, none of us can be sure of what starter we are going to have. All we can do is... wait and see...

why am i the only one i've seen think this/use this
in my fanfic/headcanon, Ghetsis's arm and eye got fucked up by Genesect. Genesect was a product of a Team Plasma experiment, and I like to think Ghetsis started it but the thing tried to kill him, and another grunt/scientist finished it in secret.

can you tell us a little about the galarian legendary birds?
Of course!
The Legendary Birds of Galar
Tumblr media
(Art by JsnCstr on Deviantart)
The legendary birds of Galar are the Galarian forms of Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. They've confused a lot of researchers and historians for a while. After all, there's only one of these legendaries in each universe, right? Well, here is my theory on them.
I think that these birds might've been the original legendary birds. Zapdos got its name because the feathers, when rubbed together, sound like electricity, Articuno got its name because the beams they fire immobilizes opponents, and Moltres got its name because the aura that's around it is like molten fire. It can't just be a coincidence. Furthermore, many archeological evidence shows that the Galar legendary birds originated (from can't think of pokemon name for european) regions. And with the whole phenomenon in Paldea, I wouldn't be surprised if these pokemon were somehow ancient forms of the legendaries, with their origins and the Crown Tundra being a place where time was forgotten. But, these pokemon didn't come from Galar either; they just migrate there for the power tree. I think that they originally came from Paldea, since Uno, Dos, and Tres are Paldean, and there are bird pokemon with the Psychic, dark, and fighting type (Espathara, Bombirdier, and Flamigo).
However, a researcher named Bird Keeper Toby had a cool theory on them. He says that Bombirdier and Flamigo didn't become them, but rather Espathra, Skeledirge, and the third one I don't remember. Skeledirge is an interesting choice to me because there is actually the Paldean legend of the Cuca, who is a Skeledirge lady with the bird on her snout (like every Skeledirge has). But when she dies, the bird on her snout is able to grow. Perhaps this legend is true, and the little bird became Moltres.
I apologize if this is rambly. I was just very excited to share my theories on them and how they connect to the rest of the world.

Okay, it's Pokemon especulation time!
First of all, let me say that I already knew that Pokemon company is an impredecible force of random so it was obvious that they was about to do somenthing no one was expecting. BUT POKEMON Z ON A LEYENDS FORMAT?! HOLLY SHIT?! THIS IS THE EQUIVALENT OF IF SONIC TEAM MAKES A SONIC RUSH REMAKE OR SONIC 06 REMAKE OUT OF THE BLUE!!
Welp, whith this said, time to speculate~
-the game will took place on the past, when they was about to build Luminare city as we now it
-Missions that includes reugnite materials for help to the constructions
-Part of the story that includes convince a Pokemon for help whith some constructions
-Some kinds of megas??
-The rumour of "you can't get out of the city" it's true but they made somenthing for catch Pokemon inside the city. (Just think in Pokemon ranger or Detective Pikachu. Big ass citys)
-Useless coffe shops where you can get in (please, I miss them 😭)
-Zygarde 100% on the top of the Eifel tower at a point of the story.
-Inteleon french form (this is not a especulation is more a wish)
-Diancie/Hoopa/Volcanion like some kind of side story.
-Pokemon can follow you (please!)
-iconic places of the city, like the museum, the video area thing, the crepe shop, clothes shops would be mencioned somehow on the game
And that's all what I can think right now. This notice makes me so impressed. I NEVER speculate about a Pokemon game in my life so you can have an Idea

Eternal Flower Files Short: Thismia
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sources: (1) CNET - Freaky Fairy Lantern (2) Kenji Suetsugu via Japan Times
In Eternal Flower Files II: Flowers of the Fleur de Lys, I talked about the flowers that most likely inspired Eternal Flower Floette. But there's one flower that didn't really fit that theory, even though it's really interesting.
Instead, it fit my crazy fungus theory better. This is thismia, the elusive flower that feeds on fungi. They are also known as Fairy Lanterns, which is so appropriate for Kalos. Fairy Lanterns are an incredibly rare, elusive flower. Thismia kobensis (the one on the right) was recently rediscovered in Japan after decades of being thought to be extinct. Same with thismia neptunis. There are so many stories of researchers searching for thismia species across the world, and the rarity and adventure to just find one reminds me of the Eternal Flower.
Back in my earlier post "Xerneas and Yveltal are Fungus - Let Me Explain..." I theorized that Xerneas and Yveltal are a kind of fungi, because of their bio-luminescent appearance and their life supporting and life draining properties. I also lichened Yggdrasil to the mychorrhizal network, a network of mycelium that unite other fungi and plants into a beneficial symbiotic relationship. Truly a harmonious collective.
Tumblr media
Source: BBC News - How Trees Secretly Talk to Each Other
Well, the Fairy Lantern is one flower that exploits that symbiotic relationship! Talk about a bad relationship. Fairy Lanterns are parasitic, ironically plants that leech the life from fungi. Many of them also have six petals, just like the flowers depicted in the Fleur de lys. Of course, the Fairy Lantern probably isn't an inspiration for the Eternal Flower, but its parasitic relationship with fungi reminds me of the way AZ's Ultimate Weapon leeches off of Xerneas and Yveltal to do its thing. I just wanted to write about it!
I learned about thismia from Animalogic.

Pokemon Scarvi thoughts/theories with the Professors, Arven and Area Zero
Spoilers for the endgame; also featuring original Sun/Moon (not Ultra)* because ~*mommy/daddy issues*~
*Sun/Moon is the only other pokemon game I’ve personally played in full (as opposed to watching Let’s Plays), I tried playing Ultra** but it was too much the same and I prefer the original version of Lusamine so that’s what we’re going with.
**Ultra Recon and Rainbow Rocket would have worked so much better as DLC for the original game instead of being locked behind a remake that came out literally right after the original and I’m very salty that we didn’t get that option until switch games.
My basic theory for the Professor’s backstory is this: Sada and Turo are Arven’s parents in both versions, and they both have the obsessive personality shown. Scarlet!Turo and Violet!Sada both left their partners when Arven was young, and I’m going to say it was because of the other’s obsession. There’s a few variations on this; either:
- They were also obsessed with Area Zero, but they ventured too deep and got trapped somewhere or thrown into another dimension - this is my main theory and it ties into the Lusamine parallels because it means the game’s main professor might have been trying to reach them (we’ll get into that later)
- They also wanted to build a time machine, but were heavily in disagreement over whether it should reach into the past or the future, so much so that they left to do their own research elsewhere and never came back.
- They were not as obsessed as the game’s main professor with Area Zero, completely disagreed with the other’s idea to build a time machine and/or even use the tera energy at all, and left out of frustration. (Why this version wouldn’t have taken Arven, especially since it would make more sense for them to want to keep their son out of Area Zero, is a mystery. Maybe they lost a custody battle idk.)
Anyway the point is that one of them leaves, and the other is left a single parent, and this probably hecks them up, and this is where the Lusamine parallels come in so we’ll address those now:
- Basically the other parent leaving suddenly sparks an obsession for the remaining parent to fill that gap with something so that their family will be whole again: for Lusamine this caused her to keep messing with the Ultra Wormholes that took Mohn away in a desperate attempt to find him which lead to her getting infected by Nihilego and going crazy, while Sada/Turo try to fill that gap with Paradox Pokemon and their idea of a “paradise” which leads to them becoming so obsessed with keeping the time machine running that they create a bunch of insane security measures to preserve it.
- Lusamine’s infection cases her to become manic and lose any inhibitions or sense of right or wrong or empathy, leading to her completely abandoning the search for her husband and to start treating her children and pokemon as objects that she wants to be perfected. (It’s a really good metaphor for kids having to deal with a parent that develops a mental illness but that’s another discussion)
- Sada/Turo’s obsession causes them to neglect their son, because they’re so enamored with the idea of a past/future “paradise” that will make their family feel whole again that they don’t realize that what Arven actually needs is for his remaining parent to be there with him. I would like to add that I believe that the pokemon behind the whole tera/paradox phenomenon may have been mentally affecting the Professor just as the Ultra Beasts’ toxins affected Lusamine, even further convincing them that keeping the time machine running was the only was to fix everything, causing them to become so paranoid that they create the   Paradise Protection Protocol without even considering that maybe they should have included an override in case their son got caught in it.
- (I have a lot of thoughts on this relating to troubled parents from other media as well, with like Hawkmoth/Gabriel’s obsession with bringing his wife back and Endeavor’s obsession with becoming number one hero and raising a superhero child that didn’t have his weaknesses; basically “if I can achieve this one grand goal it will fix my family/make everything I’ve done worth it in the end”, when it’s the smaller things like consistently being present in your child’s life and supportive of them that would have ultimately meant much more to them than any grand goal and you’re really just doing it for yourself...but this is a POKEMON post and I still haven’t gotten all my theories out yet.)
Actually this is even more interesting of a parallel when you consider what Lusamine tries to do in the endgame - she preserves a bunch of her pokemon in their present forms so that they will stay the same forever, not caring about the past she had with them and stopping them from changing in the future; while Sada and Turo would have destroyed the present ecosystem by bringing back primal pokemon from the past or advanced pokemon from the future because they cared more about those unseen eras than their actual present.
ANYWAY FINALLY GETTING TO MY FIRST THEORY ON WHAT HAPPENED TO ARVEN’S OTHER PARENT
this is where the common “the time machine isn’t actually a time machine it’s just the being responsible for the tera crystals creating “pokemon” based on the Professor’s desires to see past/future pokemon (or pulling them from other dimensions or changing actual pokemon into these paradox forms which is why they’re all so aggressive they’re really just disoriented as hell from dimensional travel/being mutated without consent)” comes into play.
So the “Tera Pokemon”, as I’ll call it, wants to draw humans in and get them obsessed with using it’s power for some unknown reason. It first gets into Scarlet!Turo/Violet!Sada’s head and gets them to leave their newly created family in order to chase their idea for a time machine so they can travel to the future/past, but they end up getting sucked into a wormhole or something before they can get very far with it - possibly ending up in a pocket dimension, or somewhere else in the world but with memory loss? (It is also possible that they actually time travel, but presumably the Tera Pokemon can’t actually do that so maybe another Legendary causes it in that case idk.)
So then game version Sada/Turo comes in also researching Area Zero but maybe also trying to figure out what actually happened to their partner after they left, and the Tera Pokemon gets to them and convinces them that if they succeed in creating the time machine they’ll be able to find their partner and restore their family. In other theories where the partner just left, the Tera Pokemon may have instead tried to convince them that creating their “paradise” would cause S!Turo/V!Sada to see that Sada/Turo was right all along and convince them to come back.
I know that the line about “three of us” living together in paradise is taken to mean the game Professor, Arven, and either the ‘Ridon or Mabosstiff; but what if it was meant to be Arven and both his parents? The past, present and future family and pokemon all living together in harmony?
But then if we go with the theory that the Tera Pokemon can’t actually mess with time travel like some of the other legendaries can, the question arises: where did the AI professor end up after going through that portal at the end of the story?
My theory is that they actually end up in a wormhole/pocket dimension inhabited by the Tera Legendary, and maybe even meet up with S!Turo/V!Sada on the other side. And that’s one of the places we’ll go in the endgame (and we’ll bring them back with us somehow because let this poor boy have parents even if one of them’s a corrupted AI and the other one’s got amnesia or whatever).
And also this Pokemon/phenomena is tied to other legendary Pokemon/phenomena like Mega Evolution and Z-Moves and Dynamaxing and giant boss Pokemon because there’s a lot of similar themes like form changes and type changes and special moves and crystals and willpower and maybe it’s just a bunch of legendary “Pokemon”/creatures tapping into human’s collective unconscious to see what they think is cool and affecting pokemon based on that idk.
That’s my thought’s for now. I might post some bits separately and I’ll also probably make more theories when new DLC stuff comes out, but for now I’m done and I’m gonna go find some sweet herb for my teacher and do job evaluations and whatever.
(Wait one more thing the History Teacher is gonna have some kinda evil plot in the DLC maybe even trying to use the Time Machine again, and also let us overthrow La Primera and put Larry in charge plz)
ok bye. Thanks for reading my insane rants.

Alright so I'm trying to take my mind off of some horrible stuff rn, so I'm gonna theorize some more about Indigo Disk based on some stuff I just learned
Before we go further, keep in mind that Pokémon does mix and blend some myths and folklore around to get a result, so it could be many things
So let's get talking about it
Tumblr media
Okay so Terapagos. Pretty obviously our Terastilizing source and the hexagon pokemon mentioned by Heath and the professor.
A few popular theories floating around about it is that it's based on World Turtle mythologies- yes, plural, because it's actually a pretty common mythos found in many Asian religions and even some from Indigenous American religions. Yeah I knew it was mentioned in Hindu, but apparently a lot of people looked at these bad boys and said "yeah that could hold us." It's neat
BUT Terapagos itself is neat in that it's name also references Galapagos Islands, famous for Darwin's study of evolution and also home to Galapagos tortoises.
Could be something, could be nothing.
On a different note, you know how everyone figured out that the Teal Mask legendaries are based Momotaro? There's another Japanese folktale that could bear some significance here.
The Tale of Urashima Taro
I am going to paraphrase, but essentially, a guy some kids messing with a sea turtle. The guy stopped them and helped the turtle back to sea. To thank him, the turtle offered to show him a place called Ryugu-Jo- or as it's known to us, the Dragon Palace, an underwater castle at the bottom of the sea, where Taro met a princess named Otohime, and was welcomed and treated handsomely for several days. After a bit, Taro became homesick and wanted to return home. Otohime gave him a box called the tamatebako, warning him to never open it. When Taro came back to land, he found that 300 years had passed. Everyone he knew and loved had died, and everyone basically thought he sank at sea. Taro opened the box thinking it might help him, only for a puff of smoke to transform him into a feeble old man.
Now let's look at what's represented here:
1. Sea turtle
2. Underwater kingdom
3. Taro is warmly welcomed
Obviously Terapagos is the sea turtle here
The underwater kingdom?
Tumblr media
Maybe not so much a kingdom or Dragon Palace, but it is a very fancy underwater school dedicated to battling
And as for the warmly welcomed part: we're exchange students, by this point already Champions of Paldea, and we've met and hung out with Carmine and Kieran in Kitakami- plus given how Pokémon usually is, we're most likely given the welcome wagon.
Now the question is this: given the ending of Urashima Taro, are we to expect something bad to happen to us?
Idk about 300 years passing, but given the history that Heath endured in Area Zero and the madness that eventually took over the professor, it's probably safe to say this turtle may not be so innocent.
Of course, there's another theory floating around that also makes sense: Atlantis. Everyone knows Atlantis, especially modern interpretation that it's a lost, ancient civilization home to all sorts of ancient technology. Blueberry Academy most likely could fit this as well- but... maybe also the Dragon Palace.
Think about this: who makes a damn school underwater? I know mine flooded in heavy rain, but we usually tried to AVOID the water, especially water that could lead to thousands of pounds of pressure breaking in and drowning us all. That and the school specializes in battling- why here?
Unless... this facility is looking and preparing for something.
A place? An object?
Maybe Terapagos IS the object and its being kept there- another reason to be out at sea is to hide. After all, how did it leave Area Zero otherwise? Why the secrecy with the name in the books?
Now let's consider this: who would have knowledge of Terapagos? The professor obviously, but they're dead
At least... one of them.
In Violet, Arven's mother left shortly after he was born. In Scarlet it was Turo. In fact, lots of employees left the original professor.
Theory time: the opposite professor took Terapagos to Blueberry Academy to hide it.
We know that the professor invented Tera Orbs about 10 years ago- that means that they had access to Terapagos that recently.
We also know the AI hated the professor's plan and wanted to stop it at all cost.
What if the deadbeat parent came back for Terapagos? Or eas entrusted with it by the AI at some point?
We also know BBA is a fairly recent build in comparison to N/A Academy, which has been around for hundreds of years.
My theory is that the opposite professor had the school made- or maybe was hired into it- in order to hide Terapagos or use it for their own purposes.
Hell it may not even be the professor. It could be any other of his employees.
Anyway that's enough theorizing. For all we know it's all unrelated and Terapagos just shows up somehow.
