He’s a “lead” in a major film!

⭐️𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐰 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐞⭐️ A glorious day for Matthew GoodE fans! In just a week after his 45th birthday, he and the legendary Anthony Hopkins are promoted as both "leads" for the upcoming film FREUD'S LAST SESSION's official photo reveal. Collider says "The image also showcases the performances of both leads."  

The trade reports this morning include Variety, Deadline, Screen Daily (Screen International), MovieWeb, and social media sites, like Film Updates (thousands of likes and hundreds of retweets in just a few hours!) But I like Collider's headline the best, “Anthony Hopkins and Matthew Goode Take Center Stage in First 'Freud's Last Session' Image. Hopkins is set to play Sigmund Freud alongside Goode as C. S. Lewis” Wow "Center Stage" and praises like "performances of both leads". What a thrilling experience for Goodey!

Quick note on the photo today. It's different from the one we saw a few weeks ago. We can see his face much better now. More intense. More compelling. He looks the part, the C. S. Lewis "locking horns" with Sigmund Freud, debating the existence of God. TWO of the greatest minds of the 20th Century on the eve of WWII. 

Cheers Darling! Now looking back, all your sacrifices and great work have paid off! Oh all the months living alone like a "monk" in a hotel in California filming The Offer, away from your family during the pandemic. Not to mention the anxiety of nailing it at the film's auditions, and impressing Tony enough to work along with you. Then the table reads, and the nerve-wracking first day of filming. Both Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway have described how they froze and their loss of words in front of Tony in THE SON and ARMAGEDDON TIME respectively. But Hugh said Tony is lovely, and they're still emailing each other. Matthew and Tony too?

On a personal note, I'm so happy Matthew can work with Tony. Tony's first big break in feature film is playing Peter O'Toole's son in THE LION IN WINTER (1968). He had talked about how nervous he was in front of Peter and Katharine Hepburn. Tony succeeded in pulling off an incredible performance then. So can Matthew! Peter is Matthew's acting idol. Hope he got to listen to his storis on set. Can't wait to see their interviews!

Oklahoman Nolan Holloway growing up on country music, specifically angry women country where they’re singing about getting revenge on their cheating partners and killing their abusive fathers.

Imagine him just listening to music with one headphone out and all the werewolves (pretty much everyone actually) can hear what he’s listening to and it’s just Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood or Mama’s Broken Heart by Miranda Lambert. Also, him showing the Lahey brothers Blown Away by Carrie Underwood and them just absolutely LOVING it. (The Lahey Brothers love Carrie Underwood’s music and no one can convince me otherwise)

Imagine Brett coming to take Nolan out on a date and there’s just three people, two of which are also werewolves staring him down because they’re all VERY protective of Nolan even though he can protect himself, and Brett’s just standing there like: 🧍‍♂️ because he doesn’t want to do anything to make these people hate him, because they’re Nolan’s family and Nolan will do anything for them. Then Nolan comes downstairs with a huge smile on his face and Brett smiles back at him and Billie, Jolene, and Ally stop staring him down, because it’s obvious that he won’t hurt Nolan, but they still threaten him to be 100% sure.

Jolene’s dad, Robert, visits at some point and gets there while Brett AND Lori are over hanging out with Nolan and Ally. Brett just straightens his posture when he sees him because Robert, despite being very kind and caring, looks like how you would imagine a werewolf who got in many fights (Against other werewolves [or involving wolfsbane]) when first turned would look like. Plus Brett has heard about how Robert killed the werewolf that turned him, and is slightly scared of Robert but Nolan and Ally just run up to him giving him the biggest hugs and Robert’s just smiling widely and hugging them back.

Then Robert sees Brett and Lori standing there and looks at them then back at Nolan and Ally then back at Brett and Lori and just smiles brightly and introduces himself and Brett relaxes a bit but not much. Nolan notices this and when they all sit on the couch Nolan sits right next to Brett, with Nolan sitting next to him Brett relaxes the rest of the way.

Robert leaves to go back to Oklahoma, but not before getting to know Brett and Lori. Whenever he visits in the future he makes sure to bring Brett and Lori stuff, like he does for Nolan and Ally, because he wants them to feel safe and happy around him.

This got out of hand, it was just supposed to be about Nolan listening to angry country women.
