They're still rough, but if people are interested I'll keep the story going, maybe make a post explaining it in detail and also do coloured versions of some panels!

Id appreciate feedback, things like telling me if you wanna see this continue or tips for writing dialogue in comics, even ideas for where the story could go!

But yeah, this comic is gonna be about the ghosts of the main cast from THH, it'll go through the main story timeline but from Sayaka's POV mostly. I'm gonna try my best to make sure I have a good amount of character moments for everyone, so don't worry about your favourite not being included!! 😸

Sometimes there's things you know you're never going to complete so I'm just gonna release these into the wild. Presenting the weird japanese warlord/shootfighter thing that will live on in this post and in my heart. Imagine Daniel LaRusso and Chozen as warlord royalty (courtesy Mr. Miyagi adopting Daniel and making him a royal ward and blood brother to Chozen). The warlords get together to have tournaments where the best of the best gather to fight. Sometimes people die too but not in the Tomi Settlement bc Mr. Miyagi isn't an animal. Turns out the Red Cobra's sensei is an animal

The Red Cobra whomst? A mysterious, masked lil man comes to fight one day? Who is this tortured, technically brilliant fighter whose sensei may have had him kill people in other tournaments and why does Mr, Miyagi know his sensei and also ask Daniel to keep an eye on the Red Cobra

Anyway imagine that Daniel and the Red Cobra spar, and it all seems strangely familiar bc they may have almost fought in a grudge match tournament, near some fences before that before Daniel picks up a sensei who talks to the Masked Man's sensei , and maybe Daniel begins to suspect things. also this was a 100% a/b/o which I will never draw if only bc it has too many plot holes.

Anyway, for your viewing sensibility: the A/b/o + Shootfighter + Royal Daniel AU that will never be. Also those are peonies near johnny bc they symbolize honour, courage, strength ;_;

oh i love love love writing Lilith as a daughter of Hades and Bea as a child of Athena. the parallels of Lilith belonging to death, the fact that she is a girl full of ghosts with a certain monstrous aspect, but also despite her best efforts she’s so so incredibly kind (everyone say thank you mary and shannon).

she probably definitely plays fetch with Cerberus when she’s in her cringe hell-hovel marinating after a month of deeply self-loathing heroism up on the surface.

and then Bea as a child of Athena 🥺 in the books a notable child of Athena has a yankees baseball cap that lets her turn invisible. smth smth beatrice making herself unseen and then stepping into ava’s light. and Athena is all cold rationality and strategy but in the books there’s a certain unhingedness to her children as well and it’s 😌 so extremely beatrice. she has weird girlfriend vibes the whole way to the ceiling.

also you are really not alone in not knowing all the rules lmao. it’s been at least a decade since i read the percy jackson books. but when i get things wrong i, like a proper adult, pretend that i was actually being really clever

example i forgot that demigods can’t have electronics (admittedly, chapter 1 was written at 2am over an entire pot of coffee with more love than sense) because it attracts monsters but i gave lilith a phone literally to make a joke about a snake eating it. did i own this mistake and edit the fic? no. 😌

i just decided i was right the whole time actually because lilith is suuuuuch a weirdo freak she would have phone specifically to attract monsters, on purpose, to feed her specific brand of haunted by the narrative/ ‘oops i self-inflicted the horrors. will be doing it again.’

(Soul Wings are A Sorcerer/Fae's equivalent to a bile sack for Witches and Demons on the Haven Isles. Instead of Willow being the half a witch, Amity semi swaps with her as being quarter witch, and 3/4ths Sorcerer, so she can't use haven magic nearly as well. But she is a talented Alchemist. Her soul wings manifest as lunar moth wings!)

As for Colli, he tries to cover up and hide as much of their identity as possible to avoid cultists and getting attacked from Demons and Witches for looking like the Archangels (their Archivist siblings pretending to be angels to control Belos). So I'm thinking he dressed like a harlequin or this one.... German?? French??? Type of fashion from the middle ages.

Who’s the pride god?

Resplendus Unicronus, god of pride. The glossiest, sparkliest mech you've ever seen. Knockout would weep with envy. Resplendus is all bright blues, greens, and purple, like a peacock, and shimmers eith iridescence in the light. Drop dead gorgeous. Their sacred beast is a peacock-esque dragon that patrols the skies of the massive valley that is Pride's domain.

Their territory is an extremely clean, well kept place, and while the people all have a healthy dose of confident and love for themselves, one of their virtues is to always remain self aware and humble. No one is invincible, and no one is better than anyone else. If anyone's ego gets to the point that they think themselves above or more deserving of those around them, the dragon very quickly delivers a harsh warning and puts them back in their place.

The gods of Unicronia may be heralds of apocalyptic disasters and tempting sins, but they do not take lightly to their creations tsking on self destructive tendencies, i.e. overindulging in their sins. They want their planet to be functional, right? Then their creations may not do too much, lest they be treading upon the gods and their ways. Only the gods may endlessly indulge.

I haven't worked out too too much of Resplendus's personality, only that they are ofc rather vain and prideful, both about themselves and their territory. The land of pride is kept meticulously clean and beautiful, always, as the god demands it. Resplendus can probably often be heard gushing and cooing over the wonderful things their mortals are getting up to, inventing and making discoveries. Almost like a proud parent.
