"Mmmm, gimme more!" I just love my Shadow Kanji cosplay that I ended up doing a photoshoot at my actual local bathhouse for an event. It was very fun and was one of my lifetime goals that came full circle. :D

Chinen Family
Tumblr media
The Chinen family is made up of five members, father Takayuki, mother Chiasa, Miya, their son and their two cats, Slime and Kirby. They all live in a small apartment.
Many of the characters are constantly changing, such as hair, eyes, facial features, to make them look more like the canon, but keeping our way of making sims, so the appearance may vary a little over time. We will reblog when some change is made.
Names marked with * are unofficial names, carefully researched and chosen. Names marked with ** are unofficial characters. Characters marked with ✩ are the most common ones to appear in our stories.
~All the family under the cut line~
Disclaimer: English and Japanese is not our native language, so it's possible that we have writed and/or translated some things incorrectly. 🙇💦
知念美也 (Chinen Miya) ✩
Tumblr media
First name: 美也 (Miya)
Last name: 知念 (Chinen)
Ocupation: Middle School Student (中学校)
Job: Skateboarding competitions
"S" Name: MIYA
Stance (Skateboard): Regular
Birthday: February, 22nd
Zodiac sign: Piscis
Blood type: A
Weight: 42kg
Height: 154cm
Age: 13
Son of Takayuki and Chiasa Chinen. He loves skateboarding and is a professional junior competitor of skateboard tricks. Miya is a role-playing video game geek, so much so that he even proclaims himself the hero in skateboarding, unlike Shadow who proclaims himself the anti-hero. He calls Reki, Slime but in an affectionate way, since he appreciates him a lot and as is an only son he sees him as an older brother, with whom can mess and joke with him.
He loves to read, especially skateboarding magazines, furry animals magazine (especially about dogs and cats) and RPG dialogues, but of course also loves to read his friends' messages.
He's very intelligent although sometimes seems a bit arrogant and a bit smart but that's his way of being and although sometimes he seems to be arrogant at heart is a nice guy and a friend of his friends.
As a good cat lover and after fighting a lot to be able to have them, he adopted two cats or well, his parents adopted them: Slime (no, he's not Reki although is a calico cat) given by his parents on his birthday (2022) and Kirby (a cute cat that has a little mark under his mouth), this last one because of Miya's insistence of wanting a friend for Slime.
As for his likes or preferences while skateboarding likes to stop and take pictures of his friends and furry animals he finds on the street, play role-playing video games and listen to pre-teen and retro music, the latter listening to it very often in videogames he plays.
He doesn't like gardening, although likes flowers, maybe doesn't like it because no one has taught him? When he looks at Shadow taking care of flowers he can't believe that the big guy has so much patience with them and that with Reki, Langa and him sometimes has so little patience.
The room in the house where he lives with Sk8 crew is green and purple, with some stickers and pictures of puppies and kittens, mostly pictures of his kittens. Apparently he doesn't like the color yellow, so tries to avoid wearing or owning things in that color, although the Reki slime doesn't count.
In S his nickname doesn't change from his real name, it's still Miya, but it's not written in kanji, but in capital letters of alphabet "MIYA" and nothing about him changes, his personality and way of being is still the same as his day to day, except the outfit, since he goes cosplayed as the main character of his favorite game.
美也の父親 (Miya's father)
Tumblr media
First name: 鷹行 (Takayuki)*
Last name: 知念 (Chinen)
Job: ???
Age: ???
Chiasa's husband and Miya's father. Takayuki learns quickly what he sets out to do. In his free time he's a great lover of music, likes to listen to it and hum it. He also likes to make jokes, humor which Miya maybe has learned a little.
美也の母親 (Miya's mother)
Tumblr media
First name: 千朝 (Chiasa)*
Last name: 知念 (Chinen)
Job: ???
Age: ???
Takayuki's wife and Miya's mother. She's a very good person who always tries to help everyone. She likes to go to the countryside for excursions and long walks, as well as trying to find things to make beautiful objects or decorations for her house. Like her husband, she's a very intelligent woman and learns quickly everything sets her mind to.
When Miya was very little she played role-playing games with him and the little boy had a lot of fun. Chiasa is a great video game player, and her little son learned a lot from his mother. Question we have and you may have too: would she have called herself a Heroine as a teenager?
スライム (Slime)**
Tumblr media
Name: スライム (Slime)
Last name: 知念 (Chinen)
Breed: Calico
Slime is a stray cat that Miya's parents adopted for his birthday after spending more than two years weighing up whether or not they could have one.
カービィ (Kirby)**
Tumblr media
Name: カービィ (Kirby)
Last name: 知念 (Chinen)
Breed: Persa Tail
Kirby is another stray cat that Miya's parents adopted after he told them he couldn't be left alone on the street being so small.
Next family will be Higa Family. See you on Thursday! 🌷🛹

A post for the people more knowledgeable than me, who might be able to fill in some gaps.
Lately I've been watching the original Pokémon anime, in Japanese with fansubs.
Obviously there are some changes between the Japanese and English versions. I'm sure we've all heard about the jelly donuts.
One such change is the protagonist's name. Satoshi in the Japanese, became Ash Ketchum in English. The two are so linked that if I google "Pokémon Satoshi" I mainly get info about Ash, usually with a little "(Known as Satoshi in Japanese)". This makes it very hard to find information about Satoshi specifically, at least as an English speaker. But if I knew enough Japanese to look this up in Japanese, I probably wouldn't be writing this.
To be clear, most of what I'll be talking about here is in regards to the Japanese version of the anime, not the English dub.
The question that's currently on my mind is, does Satoshi have a surname? Many characters don't have stated surnames it seems. Even Satoshi's Mother is apparently just named "Satoshi's Mother."
Which isn't too unusual, I mean it's a cartoon. It's a world where your dog can shoot fireballs and a bird can fly you to work.
But the thing that made me think about this, was episode 18, the obligatory beach episode. The episode involves some kind of beach beauty/Pokémon cosplay contest. The rocket gang disrupt the contest with missiles, and Satoshi saves the day with the power of friendship and Pokémon. As nature intended.
When it's all dealt with, Satoshi and the gang say goodbye to Satoshi's mom and the professor, who also happened to be at the beach that day. Satoshi's mom is holding a trophy, the prize from the contest. It's never actually stated who won, and we never saw her entering the contest herself before Rocket Gang tried blowing it up.
But for some reason, there is a close-up of the plaque on the trophy.
Tumblr media
Now, my interpretation of events, was that Satoshi was awarded the prize for saving the day, but his mom's holding onto it because it'd be a pain to carry that thing around while he continues his journey to be the very best like no one ever was. According to Bulbapedia, that also seems to be what happened in the English version, wherein the plaque was changed to reflect that fact.
Tumblr media
So what does this have to do with what I asked earlier? What does this have to do with Satoshi's surname? Well, it's because of the kanji on the trophy. The top part is just, the name of the contest, but the big characters at the bottom, to me they look like 優勝. There is, of course, some guesswork there, the text in the screenshot isn't the clearest.
Now, according to jisho.org, a Japanese dictionary, 優勝 is a word that can mean overall victory. Which makes sense to have written on a trophy.
But the important thing to realise is that I am a dumbass, and I initially looked these characters up individually, losing the context of them being together.
So I looked up that first character, 優 on jisho. And apparently, it can be read as the male name Satoshi. Could just be a coincidence though.
I look up the second character, 勝, and one of the readings is the surname Kachi. Now, the only reason I was drawn to this reading in particular, is that it sounds like the English word "catch".
So taken together, that would be Satoshi Kachi. Look, I know. Japanese names don't work like that, they put their surname first, so this would mean it's written backwards on the trophy. And the chances of his name being a pun on an English word are probably not high. Though many Pokémon names do happen to be puns.
But I think it's a pretty interesting coincidence, even if I'm maybe reaching a bit to get this conclusion. And why was there a close-up of the plaque on the trophy at all? Surely the audience can surmise that it's a winner's trophy from the fact that it's a trophy. Maybe I'm just jumping at shadows, but I feel like the plaque has to mean something more than just pointing out that you're a winner.
Anyway, if you've read this far, you're a superhero. Now, if any of you are Pokémon experts or something, maybe with some knowledge of how things are on the Japanese side of it all, and happen to know anything about this, please, tell me. Not necessarily about the trophy thing, though it might be nice to know for sure if I'm totally off base on that.
Does Satoshi have a known surname that I'm just too English to find?

There are two options for what would happen if the Investigation Team ever set foot in Mementos.
Option One: No change to outfits- they don’t need them, when they’ve already faced themselves, and accepted what they’d seen. When first seen, everyone else thinks they’re just normal people who somehow found their way into everyone’s Palace. Palace Rulers default to thinking of them as Not a Threat.
And then they summon their Personas. And it turns out that yes, they actually are a threat. They just Be Themselves so hard that nobody realizes it.
Option Two: They cosplay as their Shadows, when applicable. Nobody is entirely pleased with this.
Yosuke and Chie get off easy. Yukiko does not.
Kanji and Rise, when going to the Metaverse, have to bring a change of clothes.

Why is it harmful to see Naoto Shirogane as a girl?
[This is not an argumentative post. I am a trans man. This is meant to be educational anyone who denies or even gets aggressive at the idea of Naoto being trans.]
There’s already some posts about this, but I still wanted to make my own and dump it. I apologize for not putting this under a cut, but I feel like people will dismiss it otherwise.
Naoto introduces himself as a boy. Naoto/ 直斗 is a boys given name that means “Honest Big Dipper”, likely not the name he was given by his parents at birth since he’s afab. He clearly doesn’t use his ‘natural’ voice, and tries to make his voice sound deeper, but it still sounds off. This implies he’s working on voice training still and hasn’t mastered his range.
From just looking at canon art of Naoto, we can tell he binds. Sometimes he has a very clear bust, and sometimes he’s completely flat. In Line Sticker art, this is confirmed to be done with bandages.
Tumblr media
I bring this up because it’s important to establish: Atlus does not know what they’re doing. Safe binding is not a trans only resource. Cis afab cosplayers bind if they want a flat chest when cosplaying either flat chested women or men, so safety on doing this should be known.
Bandages are not safe. Naoto is putting himself in danger just to make himself look flat chested.
Let’s look at his shadow:
Tumblr media
Regardless of in boss-form or not, the shadow has a flat chest. If Naoto’s shadow was a part of himself that he was hiding from, and what he’s hiding is that he’s supposedly a girl, why does his shadow fully present as male?
That’s not what his shadow is. His shadow is Naoto’s insecurities. “He’s not actually a boy. He’s childish. He just doesn’t like himself. He’s scared that people will see him differently if he was clearly a girl. He’s just doing this to success.”
Taking these thoughts that Naoto’s shadow expresses, it becomes obvious that he has internalized transphobia. He’s justifying why he identifies the way he does and telling himself he’s not really what he is.
The game portrays these thoughts and insecurities as internalized misogyny that he needs to overcome.
I don’t know how to tell you that telling an afab person who has said that they’re a boy that they are, in fact, really a girl with internalized misogyny is incredibly transphobic, toxic, and harmful.
This exact mind set is the reason I personally and many other trans men are not allowed to start our medical transition until we are able to leave our parents.
For Naoto’s justifications, saying that it’s so he won’t be judged in the work place- His mother was a famous detective. There’s no reason he should have this fear, and even then, why go so far as he has? Voice training, unsafe binding, and for his work place to not know his agab or dead name? He would have had to legally change it. No one who is just pretending to be a gender they aren’t would not go through THIS much trouble.
There’s also the tons of medical themes that Naoto’s shadow talks about, which- again- for a trans person, having medical themes and surgery on the mind, especially a ‘life altering’ surgery, it’s not that uncommon among trans folk who plan to medically transition. Why would a detective’s dungeon be medical themed when he has no medical traits to his character aside from, perhaps, his transition plans?
Something that bugs me and I’m sure many others a LOT is how, as soon as Naoto’s shadow says he’s ‘actually a girl,’ everyone instantly begins to refer to Naoto as a girl. When this happens from a source that isn’t the character themself, it’s blatantly transphobic. If you hear about someone’s “actual gender” from a person who ISN’T that someone, talk to them about it. Ask them how they actually want to be referred by.
Another small thing, but Kanji is meant to be gay but then they pulled “Aha, he has a crush on Naoto, so he isn’t ACTUALLY gay!” which, yeah, homophobic and transphobic. If a gay man likes a trans man, that is still just as gay as if he liked a cis man. Making Naoto ‘actually a girl’ was hitting two birds with one stone, and cishets- and even other queer people, sadly- ate that shit up.
I’ll go over some arena screenshots now, thank you to @covecaller for posting them.
Tumblr media
How much needs to be said about this one? It’s very common for trans people in unwelcoming situations to wish they were born as the gender they actually are, and it especially would make sense for Naoto. As soon as he was outed as afab, no one refereed to him as a boy and they never even asked him about it first.
Tumblr media
This is blatant transphobia. “You lack confidence in yourself” is word for word what my mother said to me when I came out to her. Calling trans people ‘lies’ or a ‘liar’ for their identity? Also blatant transphobia.
You can look at the other arena screencaps Zach posted here.
You can say all you want that p4 is old, so of course it’s going to be bad, but so what? Letting it constantly get off the hook and never criticizing the creators will give them a message. Letting things like this go hurts the minorities that that character is a part of, and this is backed up even less by the fact that Atlus STILL hasn’t done anything about it. There is still persona 4 content being made, and Naoto is still being sexualized when he is, by the way, 15-17 throughout the series, and misgendered.
Yes, Naoto is portrayed as a girl who isn’t confident in himself and has internalized misogyny in persona 4, but that’s because the creators see trans men as girls who aren’t confident in themselves and have internalized misogyny.
Reblogs are highly appreciated, feel free to make your own additions with more proof if you feel like I missed out on something important with explaining why Naoto should not be portrayed as a girl.

I wrote 75 headcanons about Kannao
25 for Kanji, 25 for Naoto, 25 for them as a couple
Why?
Why not.
 Kanji Tatsumi
1.     He does actually need glasses, but he was hesitant to ask for contacts, so he spent most of P4 struggling to see until Naoto brought up that he looked like he was having a hard time. He wore contacts for a bit, but eventually he just stuck to glasses.
2.     The scar on his head was a source of speculation for the other members of the Investigation Team for years, because he never cared to explain, resulting in some very wacky theories. Eventually they found out it was just from a fight with a gang member, but considering he got it when he was twelve, the story is still pretty interesting.
3.     He hates mentioning medical stuff to anybody, but he’s prone to fainting spells out of nowhere. Thankfully, it never happened in the TV, which several members of the IT very angrily said to him when he blacked out in front of them one day.
4.     He’s the spitting image of his father, only with shorter hair. He could never let it grow out for that reason.
5.     He’s the only one from the Investigation Team B to go to college. He studies textiles and trains to become a teacher in Tokyo. He ends up being an art teacher at a middle school.
6.     He’s actually pretty good at literature and humanities subjects, though he struggles applying those skills in a school setting until a teacher who hasn’t given up on him yet helps him through them.
7.     Rise forced him to take dance classes the minute he moved to the city because he was ‘super good at it dammit’. Ditto the drums. He can sing too, but she’s not allowed to know that.
8.     He actually just tends to go along with Rise’s plans a lot, partially because he knows her well enough to know stopping her is futile, and also because she understands his tastes very well once she learns what they are
9.     He doesn’t dislike the way he used to dress in high school, but it wasn’t quite him. It needed more cuteness, and softer colours, which is how he started to dress once he graduated high school.
10.  The black hair and glasses stay forever, but when he’s sewing, he still wears his hair pushed back. Yukiko gave him a hairband for it when she noticed him growing slowly more irritated with it getting in his eyes.
11.  As well as his nose and ears, he also gets an eyebrow piercing in college.
12.  He manages to make a small group of friends in college, with his course being the perfect way for him to find likeminded individuals who applaud his skills rather than shunning them
13.  Kanji is the best cook in the Investigation Team. His baking skills, especially, are exemplary.
14.  He has an online, worldwide store where he sells his plushies and the occasional drawing and outfit. He’s semi-fluent in English by the time he graduates college, so when Naoto travels abroad sometimes he goes too and hits up the conventions.
15.  Ann is his go-to model once they meet. He helps her with outfits for a college final once and they work together so well that she sticks with him.
16.  The reason Koromaru dislikes him is that he can tell he’s kinda rough with physical affection. He doesn’t realise it for the longest time because nobody points it out. He is really good with animals otherwise though, and he’s also really good with kids.
17.  He’s a back-up fighter for the Shadow Ops should they need him, by virtue of being married to their resident detective.
18.  The main reason he keeps training his body though is actually because Chie is determined to beat him at arm wrestling one day, and he’s too proud to let anyone win without a fight.
19.  When Naoto’s cat, Mochi, had kittens, he got to name the one they kept. His name is Pocky. He has a little leather jacket that Kanji painstakingly crafted one night when he couldn’t sleep.
20.  He needs a lot of alcohol to get drunk (which makes nights out with the IT interesting for him, given that the others are all serious lightweights)
21.  If you give him a life sim, especially that one with the cute animals, you will not see him again for days at a time. He’s not huge on video games, but life sims will take over his life
22.  Even if he does retreat into a cave to build a pristine village though, he will still probably emerge with a smooth face because he doesn’t grow facial hair very easily. He can, but it takes a while.
23.  He can’t sleep as easily unless he’s holding something soft.
24.  The easiest time to get him to speak his mind about certain things is when he’s sick and more vulnerable, which doesn’t happen very often. For example, the IT had no idea their jokes at his expense bothered him until he confessed it while extremely out of it on cold medication one time. He doesn’t remember saying it either, but he did notice they were more sincere with him after that.
25.  Everybody in the Investigation Team ends up facing their Shadow again in their adulthood, but by the time Shadow Kanji returns, Kanji has become so accepting of the self the Shadow had represented in the past that he takes on a completely different form. Naoto is the only other person with this same experience.
Naoto Shirogane:
1.     By the time they stop growing, Naoto is nearly 5’1” and they absolutely make it a point to let their friends know
2.     They don’t really know how to look after their hair at all, hence the cap and general messiness. They tend to forget about it until it becomes too long and gets all tangled.
3.     They’re very accident prone, and are covered in a lot of scars from their childhood. The worst one though is one on their back from that time Sho stabbed them at Junes.
4.     One of said scars came from their neighbours’ huge dog biting them when they were five. To this day, they’re still absolutely terrified of big dogs.
5.     They’ve experienced panic attacks for most of their life, though they occur less frequently as an adult.
6.     They resemble their mother more than their father, but the height comes from the Shirogane side. Grampa Shirogane was quite small as well.
7.     They are the only member of the Investigation Team who can tolerate Rise’s cooking. The others suspect potential spice immunity.
8.     As well as piano and ballroom dance, they were also trained in a choir as a child, but fell out of favour with it in their teens. The Velvet Siblings hold a final Theatre Showdown with their guests in 2019, and this is when Naoto fully rediscovers their musical side again.
9.     If you ask Naoto how much those specially tailor-made clothes cost, they will mumble and then change the subject
10.  Naoto returns to Yasogami as a full-time student in third year after Mitsuru enrols Labrys in the school out of nowhere, intent on investigating her motives.
11.  They hold the school’s record for highest graded paper for decades. It was on Sherlock Holmes.
12.  Naoto has written a lot of Sherlock Holmes fanfiction as a kid. The others are aware this exists, but are not allowed to read it.
13.  They don’t attend college after graduation, but don’t have much time to figure out what they will do. The mental shutdown incidents begin the same year, and Naoto decided to help the Shadow Operatives with it as much as possible.
14.  Naoto hates the title ‘detective prince’, and actively tries to shed it. Akechi was a godsend in that light.
15.  They actually hate the media’s attention in general but figured that they may as well use the platform they have for a good cause. They want to be the kind of person they needed to see on TV as a kid, but they very vocally opposed the ‘detective prince’ crap until it ended – which it did quite abruptly when the truth about Akechi came out.
16.  Much of what Goro Akechi likes, he got from Naoto’s indirect influence, from the way he dresses to knowledge of that jazz club in Kichijoji. They’re more of a regular there than he is.
17.  Rise set them up on social media, but they don’t really get how to use it. Their fans discovered it though, so they still have a fair number of followers.
18.  Naoto has a slight friendly rivalry with the people who run a local escape room place. Their goal as a company is to one day leave Naoto stumped.
19.  Naoto doesn’t actually like coffee. Too bitter. Tea is their go-to.
20.  They got a standard-size motorcycle at eighteen but doesn’t drive a car. Yakushiji and Kanji refuse to let them behind the wheel.
21.  After becoming comfortable with their childish side once again, they became openly enamoured once more with Neo Featherman, and have a lot of very expensive figures on display in their house. They even cosplayed at a convention once with some of Kanji’s college friends (though it was difficult to convince them to do it)
22.  Yosuke was paid back all the money the IT owed him shortly after Naoto joined the team and discovered they were mooching from him. Yosuke doesn’t know for certain where it came from.
23.  They adopted a kitten they named Mochi in 2017, who they found abandoned outside a supermarket (in an old box that had contained a shipment of mochi, hence the name). She’s an orange tabby, and she became something of a comfort animal when Naoto was at their lowest.
24.  Their grandfather died from an illness in early February 2017. They didn’t handle his loss well, and they ended up falling into a depression that they never really came out of, though they weren’t able to admit that they weren’t okay. It was an encounter with their Shadow that eventually led to them seeking help.
25.  While they’re still a Private Detective in theory, most of the work they do following the events of P5 are Shadow-related. The Shirogane Agency became one of the Shadow Operatives’ closest allies. Makoto Niijima is currently doing an internship there (they met after the Phantom Thieves helped the SOs deal with another incident in Tokyo in 2018)
Kannao
1.     Naoto ‘came down with a fever’ around the time of the Love Meets Bonds festival that had absolutely nothing to do with their friend Kanji suddenly seeming way cooler than before.
2.     The ‘fever’ got worse when they started having classes together in school, and Naoto agreed to help Kanji with his college entrance exams.
3.     At this point Kanji had kinda accepted his feelings existed, but were unrequited, and that he didn’t want that to interfere with their friendship. Naoto was one of the only people who really got him, and he didn’t want to lose them so soon after building a rapport with them. Little did he know.
4.     Naoto was the first one to eventually confess, once Rise, Yu, Grampa, Nanako, several books and google searches, and a random stall vendor at the summer festival in their hometown had convinced them that the weird feeling in their chest wasn’t actually an illness. They did it in the summer of 2013, at said festival.
5.     They were also the first one to say they were in love. The realisation hit them one day as they were watching Kanji play a cute life-simulator game in his college dorm.
6.     While they’re no longer awkward around each other all the time, there are ways they can still make the other very flustered. For example, with Naoto, it’s any time Kanji is wearing a suit.
7.     They got married at Christmas in 2019. Kanji had a proposal planned. Naoto misread the vibe and proposed early and spontaneously on the day he had planned to, though he still got to go ahead with his as well.
8.     Kanji doesn’t really like PDA. They get a lot of people staring at them anyway because of how they look, or because Naoto is recognisable from the TV, and he doesn’t want to make the stares worse. In private though, he’s the more affectionate one.
9.     Naoto accidentally fuelled the rumours that ‘Kanji Tatsumi is in a biker gang’ again when they first started dating by parking their motorcycle outside the textile shop. Ma Tatsumi was quick to tell anybody who questioned it that it belonged to her son’s significant other long before she was supposed to know they were dating
10.  Kanji keeps forgetting to specify which number in his phone is for Naoto’s personal phone and which is for work, which has lead to such wonderful anecdotes as ‘I accidentally hired a private investigator to fix my broken car’
11.  They’re both used to the other bolting upright in bed at 3am because they’ve had an idea for a new pair of socks for the cat, or another hypothesis for a case. Naoto also wakes up quite a bit due to nightmares.
12.  They lived together with the rest of the Investigation Team since 2016, but they don’t get an apartment as just the two of them until the year they get married. It doesn’t take long before there is an entire room in that apartment filled from floor to ceiling with toys.
13.  Kanji is much tidier and more organised than Naoto, even though Naoto isn’t bad, so he’s the one who figures out where things should go. Decorating the house is his favourite thing
14.  They are the unparalleled board-game kings. Somehow, they’re an unstoppable force of nature when paired together for them.
15.  Surprising everyone, Naoto is the more likely of the two to use pet names. They are the only person who won’t be threatened if they call him ‘Kan-chan’.
16.  Before it became common knowledge amongst Naoto’s fanclub that Kanji was their boyfriend, they thought he was their bodyguard. (The Risette fandom had the same idea)
17.  Kanji never helped that rumour die, considering that when the media tries to shove cameras into Naoto’s face, he yells obscenities and gets in the way until the footage is unusable.
18.  They have a daughter in 2025, when Naoto is 30 and Kanji is 29. She’s named Chihiro, mostly because it’s like a phonetic portmanteau of Kanji’s father’s name (Koichi Tatsumi) and Naoto’s grandfather’s (Yasuhiro Shirogane). But also, that was the name of the actor who played Naoto’s favourite version of Feather Swan. Naoto isn’t creative enough to come up with a portmanteau.
19.  They are each 80% of the other’s impulse control
20.  Naoto couldn’t care less that Kanji isn’t the brightest, despite common misconception. The Shirogane family, and the people who work for it, always placed emphasis on a person’s intelligence (hence Yu’s requirement for a lot of knowledge to start the Fortune link) but Naoto is strongly opposed to that mindset. To them, it’s freeing to have somebody around who doesn’t want to be an intellectual 95% of the time.
21.  They are very private when it comes to their relationship, to the point that sometimes even friends or colleagues have no idea what’s going on in their lives until it’s let slip somehow. When Junpei and Yukari – the Shadow Ops Naoto worked with the least - found out they were expecting, it first had to be explained to them that they’d been married for five years.
22.  They sometimes get mistaken for father and son at restaurants until their early thirties, to which point Naoto will make a scene of ordering a lot of alcohol to prove they’re old enough. Naoto can’t really handle booze.
23.  They’re really bad at making face to face announcements about anything big to their friends, so they always find some way to do it elaborately instead. They told the IT they were having a kid, for example, through a series of puzzles put together by Naoto
24.  Kanji loves making couples costumes and outfits, but then gets too embarrassed to wear them
25.  Naoto is a fiend for stealing Kanji’s clothes as pyjamas. They are large and warm, and when they’re travelling for work, they remind them of him. It got to the point where Kanji would pack a shirt of his secretly in Naoto’s suitcase, knowing that’s why his clothes always went missing.

Phantom Thieves and the Shadow Self
So I’m sitting here listening to I’ll face Myself (Smash Edit) and it suddenly occurs to me, not for the first time actually but with a few extra neurons thrown in the heap as you do when you ruminate on stuff for ages, that the Phantom Thieves are LITERALLY the Shadow Selves of the Phantom Thieves.
Wait, no come back, this isn’t as stupid as it sounds I swear.
Alright, so I’ve probably mentioned this before somewhere, and I FEEL it’s obvious, and it’s explicit elsewhere, but let’s make it really real clear.
Persona’s are Shadows. There’s not a single gap of difference between the two of them, save that Shadows are wild and unconstrained, for better or worse, while Persona’s are Tamed and or at least are under control. Right up until the point you start rejecting them anyway, but that’s persona 3 and we’re playing with 4 and 5 right now (and someday, I’m gonna have to blast through 1, 2, and 2:2, and probably 3:2 but that’s another story and conversation)
But what’s the point here? You made a pretty bold claim up there that the Phantom Thieves are their shadow selves, and well...We’ve SEEN the shadow’s from Persona 4. The Personal Ones. They’re all uh...Not...Exactly...greaaaaaaat.
And that’s not untrue, but as i’ve mentioned before somewhere on here, Shadows encompass all of the aspects of yourself that are, decisively, YOU. Your good, your bad, your unrealized, what you push away. Everything that is you, but not actively engaged with or reject lives within the shadow.
That’s just neat my guy, but what’s the point? How are the Phantom Thieves at ALL their shadow selves. I, the hypothetical reader here, will accept that there’s some integration going on here, but they certainly don’t seem to be any different from their normal selves. They don’t seem...Shadowy.
Well ok, that’s kind of the point, but hey let’s dig in a bit. First things first, Yellow Eye Flash, everyone’s seent it, you can’t pretend it didn’t happen. So With that out of the way we at least have some baseline suggestions going on that yes there is something going on with the Shadow and the Persona User.
But well let’s take a look at someone who constantly draws attention in the series for being...Really WEIRD considering that her story straight up starts and deals with...Well being a sexual object, and throughout the rest of the game is kind of the de facto sexy one.
Hey it’s Anne Time! But I may have hit on this before, but she’s probably the easiest clearest example of this in the game. They Key to understanding it, since she’s very very much the oddwoman out here. After all, her whole story (not social link, but we’ll get to that some other time I think) basically has to deal with sexual abuse by a teacher, seeing VERY LITERALLY THAT SAME TEACHER, have sexual fantasies about her and then her Mementos/World of Cognition/World Behind the TV/Dark Hour Outfit is...A tight spy catsuit, with whip, her initial persona is an infamous femme fatale and...Well that just seems a bit obnoxious? I understand vidya, you need to have your cheesecake because reasons, but like c’mon. A little class.
But fly on back up like 5 Paragraphs. Remember what I said about the Shadow having all your rejected aspects? The Good, the Bad, the Ugly? That’s still true, and Anne is basically dealing with a particular aspect of herself that she’s not quite happy with, and if this were persona 4 well..It’s not even that hard to draw a line as to what Persona 4 Shadow Anne would look like. Likely, if we’re being honest, a lot like what Kamoshida envisioned her as, albeit considerably more active an agent which would be obvious given, again, Carmen.
And actually let’s look at the initial Persona again here. There’s a lot to be said about what her Cognition suit looks like and the fact that literally none of the other persona characters engage in this kind of transformation, none of them. Inaba Crew basically just had to wear some glasses but otherwise? Nothing. But The Persona Especially are useful here because they are LITERALLY SHACKLED TAMED DOWN SHADOWS.
And from 4 We See what a full on balls out unrestrained Shadow looks like both when they’re cosplaying as themselves and when they decide to just go full beast mode and ruin someone’s day.
They are, without fail, Every Single Bad or concerning aspect turned up from there to grotesque, with every good or unrealized aspect tamped down until you can barely see it. Yukiko is a weird dependent princess, Chie is some weird Dominatrix, Yosuke is a weird jealous frog thing, Teddie is a big nihilistic empty vessel, Naoto is childish and “playing pretend”, Rise is a stripper, Kanji is an entirely more complicated discussion i don’t want to get into right now, BUT THE POINT, is that without fail, the Shadows take aspects of them that are TRUE but worry them/are complicated to deal with/they believe are problems, and amp them up to terrifying proportions.
BUT
They also have the aspects of themselves that are positive there too, if hard to notice (deliberately, and warped to look bad besides). Chie’s shadow unquestionably comes off as foreboding, but Chie’s a protective gal. If you’re trying to protect someone it doesn’t exactly work if you don’t look like you have the ability to RUIN whoever you’re trying to scare off. Teddie’s is horrifying, but for all that he’s suggesting the truth is unattainable and all that, Teddie’s concern of if there is even something inside him is betrayed by Shadow Teddie DEFINITELY HAVING SOMETHING INSIDE HIM. And i’m sure i could find more but this is besides the point.
We’re talking about the Phantom Thieves, and how they’re their Shadow Selves.
But well...Look to the Persona 4 crew again. Their shadows come in generic me and Me amped up.
And now Look at the Phantom Thieves. We’ll use Anne again because she’s the really obvious one here but-
Anne>Panther>Carmen isn’t such a big difference from Yukiko>Princess>Shadow Yukiko.
There is the You, with all your aspects, your shadow, your persona’s etc, all together as one gestalt. There’s the Shadow You, The aspects that include things about yourself that you don’t acknowledge/know/deal with. There’s those aspects pumped up to 11 Which is your Persona and Shadow Proper.
And if we take it one step further...
Anne>Panther>Carmen>Hecate
You have yourself, your shadowy side, your Shadowy Side Played at Max Volume....And then you have your “perfected” self, who has integrated the shadow.
To put it simply (because this isn’t an anne post precisely, though I’ll make a proper one sometime down the line probably. Gotta build hype for ROYALE), Hecate isn’t a femme fatale. But if you look at her design well...She has the general SHAPE of a sexy attractive type (Hour Glass, tastes may vary) until you look at her a bit closer and realize everything that would easy peasy be sexy (hips, bust, legs etc) is either concealed, covered in barbs and sharp angles, or is otherwise ends in implements to cause harm. At the same time, the belly is exposed, and there’s a pretty noticeable cut out towards the hips which is...suggestive.
The difference being, as I see it, between a Femme Fatale, a role built around seduction appearance and appealing to baser behaviors, and a literal actual Goddess who while attractive (Hecate STILL appears to be wearing a mask, a feature i’m not 100% but think applies to all the Ultimate Persona’s here) has that as a secondary trait behind the fact that she can and will cancel your corporeal form if you give her an iota of a reason and she’s feeling merciful (see uh...Anne, If I kill Him it would be a kindness but holy shit she was inches from committing the phantom thieves first murder her own damn self.)
But yeah, this pattern still sticks around with all the others if you take a look at it. Ren’s actually another pretty straightforward one in the Ren>Joker>Arsene>Lucifer Dynamic which basically see’s his Suave Confident chaotic ass get aggressively more suave confident and Chaotic (see MY ULTIMATE PERSONA IS LITERALLY THE HEAD OF THE CHAOS FACTION IN SMT HOLY SHIT GUYS)
But yeah, the Phantom Thieves are totes the Shadow Selves, which makes me wonder with...a degree of trepidation of what that would look like for the rest of the persona crews.

Favorite relationship: i lov naoto and kanji’s incredibly dorky possible crush
Favorite headcanon: has cosplayed for one of their nerdy shows at least once. will never admit it

📺 + Do you get jealous when it comes to Yosuke?
SHADOW: THE (NOT)TRUE SELF.
Tumblr media
“Not as much as I used to. Not as much as I used to.” Kanji was insecure, back then. When they had first started dating. Yosuke hadn’t made that easy, either, it had been a very bumpy road. Honestly, when they’d had that fight Kanji had thought that was it. It was over.
It was only through Yosuke going and apologising and their working through it that Kanji felt reassured. Felt like they could make their life together, work.
Still. Kanji would get jealous. He would often feel insecure, and worried, that Yosuke might find someone better.
After all. Kanji was stupid. Kanji was a punk. Kanji was a freak; he liked sewing. He adored sailor moon. He cosplayed. He liked feminine things. He was tall. He didn’t smile much.
There had been so many better looking girls, and guys, that Yosuke could have dated. Anyone else.
Anyone better. So, why Kanji?
Kanji had often asked himself that.
Not so much anymore.
Maybe because he had never quite found the answer.

By proximity more than anything, but as Storm tagged “whoever wants to do this”, and I wanted to do this: I was tagged by @stormwaterwitch

Do I get asks// Mostly headcanon submissions, but maybe once or twice a month from friends.
Why did I choose this username// “RWT” because it’s the abbreviation for My “True” Name. On my old personal account, I had a sideblog called “rhs-mystic-corner”. Because, like the blog says, it’s “My Mystic Corner of the Universe”. But I’m trying to dissociate myself from the RHS identity. Hence: using RWT instead. (That, and it’s more true to my magical identity, anyway.)

Average amount of sleep// 8 hours (varies between 4 and 12.)
What I’m wearing// My favorite shirt (an elegantly-cut top with shawl-like open “sleeves” that drape over my shoulders down to my elbows), long black skirt (which i’m never NOT wearing, let’s be real)
Dream Job// R e t i r e m e n t !
But, if I’m really allowed to DREAM here: I’d love to become an MD Veterinarian, specializing in nutrition and exotics, particularly small mammals and birds. Ornithologist would be amazing, too! But the “Dream” part comes in where I want it to be debt-free, starting at noon and going until 8 or 10, and being able to practice in medicine or science without relying on others’ contributions to pay my bills. (So like: Having money, but being able to run a charitable office where someone whose dog needs a surgery won’t have to pay money they simply don’t have for it! Screw CareCredit; I want to go all-in CHARITABLE FUND about it!)
Dream Trip// (Well, excluding my astral adventures, because I don’t think that’s what it means?) Going to meet my friends in Europe with a substantial budget, for a week or two, seeing everything they want to show me, finding their favorite local places, cooking with them (maybe FOR them!), cozy moments with tea and rain, watching our favorite shows together, and the real DREAMING part of it would be getting my pets overseas so they could meet them, too. ;P (but diamond doves and chinchillas don’t mesh well with airplanes.)
Fave Food// Ooh, that’s a tough one... sushi, peppermint, matcha anything, saag paneer, chana masala, black licorice (aniseed), gingerbread, herbal tea?
Play any instruments// I play piano. I never bothered much with classical aspects, but I’m excellent at aimlessly improvising. (Singing, on the other hand? Pseudo-operatic.I consider my voice an instrument.)
Eye color// Depends on my mood. Anywhere from gray, to deep blue, to greenish, and there’s a green-gold ring around my iris. Shrugs?
Hair color// "Sandy blonde” is what my ID calls it. So that, I guess. (There’s a band like an accidental hombre of purple from when I had my hair all dyed dark violet for a Raven cosplay. Two years later and it still hasn’t faded entirely.)
Languages I speak// English, semi-fluent in Spanish and Latin, decent in Japanese when I have a kanji dictionary, and specklings of Italian, ASL, German, and, thanks in large part to my girlfriend, French.
Most Iconic Song// (Depends on the day! Here’s a mini-playlist, though.) ~ Lost in Paradise by Evanescence [x] ~ Torn by Kamelot [x] ~ Dark Wings by Within Temptation [x] ~ Outcast (remix by Alex Dalliance) [x] ~ My Little Phoenix by Tarja [x] ~ Omen by Epica [x] ~ Diamond Shuffle by Next Level (long story; no link because it’s Rare.)
Random Fact// My life has literally been saved by songs and pop culture.
Describe yourself as aesthetic things//  * The quiet places in the shadows of the night. ~ The billow of a thick black cloak. * The vanilla-earth scent of old books and parchment. ~ Silver down feathers floating on the breeze. * The soft, pervading sound of wind rushing through the pines. ~ Stars reflecting on the calm surface of a lake stretching towards the horizon. * New growth in an old forest. ~ Baptism by fire, destroying the dead and dry. * The ceaseless scratching of a pen in a tattered notebook. ~ The feeling of the first breath after immense relief. * The touch of paper when you turn the page. ~ The connection in a hug, a met glance, a shared giggle.
I tag: Anyone who sees this, under the condition that they want to!

Midori Komaki, Maki Sonomura, and Yukino Mayuzumi!
Midori Komaki My favorite thing about them: Honestly? How she could see demons as victims in need of help in the Jack Frost incident. Demons in DeSu, as in many RPG are sentient beings but absolutely dehumanized most of the time, so that one protagonist looks at them and sees more than enemies or tools is refreshing even if it's just for a single mission.
My least favorite thing about them: Her English voice actor, probably. I tend to not like this kind of character, to be honest, and I had only begun to appreciate her through other people's views. And then I hear her talk and it's like a reminder of my first impression of her: "annoying".
My favorite canon relationship: Black Frost, he's cute and I wish the relationship would was more explored. I can perfectly imagine a sitcom post good Naoya route where she just teaches him to behave in the human world, sometimes teaching the same lessons she had to learn in the lockdown... My favorite non-canon relationship: I have no idea, tbh.
The sexuality I headcanon for them: default bi, idk. I'm not against Keisuke/Midori, he cared so much for her, and I can see her being into women too.
What I’d do if I could spend the day with them: asking how she made the cosplay or whatever she's wearing, maybe? I have infinite respect for people who can sew.
Random fact about them I like: You know how I said I came to like her through other people's views? I like she made my friend happy. After that, I could see how Midori's personality shines in her positivity and good disposition. She's inspiring. Maki Sonomura I should finish P1 one day I'm not working with all the info here just the basics. My favorite thing about them: Her whole arc is just... aaah, I just want her to be happy...
My least favorite thing about them: I don't think I have anything against her.
My favorite canon relationship: With... herself I guess? This is kind of a weird choice, I guess, but that's where the pathos of the character resides and the most interesting one. Maki must accept the reality of her situation, and that's really tragic.
My favorite non-canon relationship: I wish she could meet PQ Rei or Sumire at one point. All of them are characters with similar experiences in one way or another and Maki being a therapist would be really positive for them...
The sexuality I headcanon for them: default bi???
What I’d do if I could spend the day with them: therapy... someone help me....
Random fact about them I like: her short hair and general design in P2. It's such a bold departure from the original design while still being recognizable, and she looks like she's doing so much better in life. Yukino Mayuzumi I went SEBEC so I'm mostly informed by P2 here. My favorite thing about them: I love so many things about her, her background, her acting like a mother and a teacher to other characters, idk
My least favorite thing about them: only that she's optional in P1 and only in the group for a while in P2 because I would've liked to play with her more.
My favorite canon relationship: Anna. Yukino is such an important figure to her and the way she sees herself into Anna and wants to help her? Yes.
My favorite non-canon relationship: I was going to say I had no idea but then I had this image of her coaching Kanji Tatsumi and yes. Works for any delinquent-like character in the series, though.
The sexuality I headcanon for them: bi, no question. A boyfriend, then shadow kisses lesbian woman? Yeah.
What I’d do if I could spend the day with them: Maybe go around making photos? That would be fun.
Random fact about them I like: I like her punching demons along with Tatsuya because bi power. Also her P2 hair.

Happy National Coming Out Day. I feel that my coming out story is basically the same as Kanji's from Persona 4. After denying my true self for many years, I came out at the age of 18 as a very Queer Pansexual, where I was sure that I liked all sorts of genders and people for who they are. I used to be made fun of for liking girly things and told that I was not manly enough, but over the years I have overcome that and now I am proud to live in an accepting community and being myself with my irl Naoto partner. We also both happen to be genderfluid and nonbinary too.

Hey. I bought a Gaara cosplay. Any tips for makeup?
LOTS of black eyeliner/eye shadow.
Use something to cover your eyebrows as best you can. Unless you’re game enough to shave them completely off.
Make sure the 愛 kanji is on the left side of your forehead, you’ll haveto draw it backwards in the mirror, unless someone else can draw it on for you.

Bungie Weekly Update - 8/24/17
This week at Bungie, we’re exploring a new European destination.
It’s a busy time at Bungie, and abroad. Earlier this week, our Bungie away team boarded planes and trains to travel to Köln, Germany for gamescom. They’ll be there all week spreading the news about Destiny 2 and celebrating DeeJ’s birthday.
Earlier this morning, Pacific Time anyway, we showed off some of the new fun, exploration, and adventures to be had in one of Destiny 2’s new destinations, the European Dead Zone. Devrim Kay VIII is on hand to give you a quick tour of the EDZ and to show you what to expect when you start exploring on September 6th. There will be new loot to discover, enemy forces to dispatch, Lost Sectors with hidden treasures to find, and much, much more.
Take a look for yourself.
youtube
This wasn’t the only thing we showed off this week. Under the shadow of the moon, as it hogged the spotlight from the daystar for a few hours, we put out a brand new action packed Launch Trailer. If you haven’t seen it yet, go watch it now. We’ll wait for you.
youtube
We’re still not done. This week we’re also shedding new and renewed light on Destiny 2’s cast of characters. First up is Cayde-6, a favorite that many of you already know and love.
youtube
Next is a mysterious renegade named Hawthorne that you’ll meet in the wild.
youtube
Ok, now we’re done… for today at least. If you want to check out some direct feed EDZ gameplay and impressions, make sure to check out all of the videos and coverage coming out of gamescom this week.

Custom Service
You have “Q”s, they have the “A”s. Destiny Player Support are working hard to make sure you have the info you need for everything Destiny 2.
This is their report.
Early Access for the Destiny 2 PC Beta begins at 10 AM Pacific on August 28, 2017. The following is a list of confirmed issues that may impact gameplay:
Players may encounter issues when playing the Destiny 2 Beta with drivers that are out of date. Updating drivers to the latest version grants the best experience when playing Destiny 2 on PC.
The Destiny 2 Beta may not run when installed to a folder with some localized character types in its name (e.g. Greek, Cyrillic, Kanji, etc.). Players should ensure that they install the Beta to a path that does not include these character types, or use the default install location.
Players may encounter issues when joining the Fireteam of another player on their same local area network. Players who encounter this issue should ensure that they have UPnP enabled in their network settings.
MSAA is still under development. As such, players may encounter various issues including visual artifacts and performance degradation when using MSAA.
Multi-GPU support is still in development. Players may encounter issues including visual artifacts and performance impacts when using NVIDIA SLI. AMD Crossfire support is not available in the Destiny 2 PC Beta.
The Destiny 2 Beta must be launched from Blizzard’s Battle.net app. If players launch the Beta client directly from the executable, they may receive an error message or the Destiny 2 Beta client may become unresponsive. Players who encounter this issue should close the Beta client through the user interface or by pressing Alt+F4, and proceed to launch the Destiny 2 Beta using the “Play” button in the Destiny 2 tab of the Blizzard app.
GeForce GTX: If players wish to have the optimum experience in the Destiny 2 PC Beta, they can download and install NVIDIA’s new Destiny 2 Beta Game Ready Driver. Simply download and launch NVIDIA's GeForce Experience, then proceed to click the "Drivers" tab to download the update, or download it from the NVIDIA website here.
Bungie.net Update: Profile Recovery
Players now have a means to recover a previously made Bungie.net profile that no longer has any authentication methods linked for sign-in. If a player wishes to recover their account, they may proceed through the following steps:
Identify the authentication method used to create the Bungie.net profile that was closed or lost
Ensure the authentication method has been unlinked from any active Bungie.net profiles
Click "Create a new account" and use the account credentials that were originally linked to the desired account
Select "Recover" next to the desired Bungie.net profile and complete the account reclamation process, which may be identified by profile membership ID's or Bungie.net join dates
Please note the following:
For a Bungie.net profile to be recovered, it cannot be linked to any active authentication methods. If linked, it will not be presented to the player during the account recovery flow.
Players will have up to 90 days to recover lost or closed Bungie.net profiles. After 90 days, this process will be unavailable.
For additional information concerning Bungie.net Profile recovery, creation, or linking, please see this Help Article. Additionally, we are actively investigating issues impacting various features on Bungie.net, including Groups and Clans. If you encounter any issues after the most recent update to Bungie.net, please post a report to the #Help forum. Stay tuned to @BungieHelp on for the latest updates on our investigation.

The screen is black for a moment, before the Toei Company Logo fades in….only to get a stamp reading “Unofficial” in red ink above the kanji.
All of which immediately goes up in flames.
The screen is completely black, before it fades in on a busy street. Ikura is standing in the middle of it as people pass by. The colors in the shot began to desaturate, all save for her.
“What makes you think this will be the last of this?” She asks.
The people around her freeze, before vanishing completely.
Cut to a lower shot, slowly panning upwards. There are two people standing behind her, though the lighting is incredibly specific to the point that only Ikura is being lit- the other two are just shadows.
Ikura is wearing her typical daily outfit; a white button-up blouse, a black business skirt, and her labcoat. She’s wearing heels, and her hair is down.
“Every time, you say no more games. Yet, it’s never the end of it.”
The camera rotates around to her left, revealing that the first person is a younger version of Ikura, from just after she started working at the Secret Base Cafe. She’s wearing her old favorite cosplay, Umeko from Dekaranger.
“You retconned me from existence, but I came crawling back. You tried assassinating me, yet I stood strong. Your threats are empty at this point.”
Cosplay!Ikura flips her hair a bit, smirking.
The camera rotates around once again, to the second figure, only to reveal that they, too, are a past version of Ikura. This one is herself from college. She is wearing a grey t-shirt with a faux vintage design of Mazinger Z firing its Breast Fire. She’s got worn-out jeans on, which have a slight hole in one knee and are tattered around the fringes of the legs. She’s wearing red converses, and has a plaid button-up tied around her waist. Headphones hang around her neck. Her hair is shorter, and most notably, is still its natural brunette color.
A shadow washes over all three, making them disappear. The screen fades to black.
“We’ll just have to see.”

top 5 Persona girls then?
ASK ME MY TOP 5 ANYTHING
jesus this is hard holy fuck im sure itll change in like an hour
uhhh
1. Rise Kujikawa. What were you expecting. I’ve cosplayed 4 of her outfits and I still plan on doing more. Rise just is everything to me? Like, it’s hard to go into the reasonings why in a list, but honestly she just inspires me in a lot of different ways. At the same time I can really relate to her struggles. Not knowing who you are, trying to find that person in the mess that everyone expects of you, all while trying to be someone who really matters to others, who’s irreplaceable, is something I really have a hard time with.
2. Ann Takamaki. I’m not really far in P5 yet but I really love Ann so far. She has an interesting opinion on what it means to truly help people, and I’ve already seen more sides to her in 20+ hours I’ve spent with her than most other characters. Ann is also the closest character we’ve had since Bayonetta to really own her sexuality which is so crucial to her intial arc in the story and I love thaaaaat.
3. Labrys! Gosh she has such an interesting story!!! It really adds a depth to the whole concept of the Anti-Shadow models and the shit the Kijijo group did. They are terrible people. Her backstory is tragic but at the same time it’s triumphant in the best way. I’m sad she was a main character of a side game, but at least its a freaking great side game. At the same time she’s super cute, really fun, and her design is great.
4. Yukiko Amagi. Yukiko has really grown on me as of late. To be honest I didnt like her on my first playthrough, but upon others and her growth in the side games, I’ve really fallen for her! They’ve opened up her weirdness where it was awkward and instead I find that she’s charming and funny!
5. Elizabeth. She’s so weird you guys i fucking love her omg. Elizabeth’s weirdness was made into something interesting and at this point it just feels like she’s in her own game off in the side. Her intro in P4A being her just holding off what seems like an apocalypse is nucking futs and that’s just super cool to me. She’s not a deep character but she’s fun that’s all you need.
Honorable mentions!
Yukari Takeba!
Aigis!
Makoto Nijima!
Kanji!
