You, Scott, and Ramona all grew up in the boonies, didn't you? Like different flavors of them but still. Driving north must be like going home in different ways. The bare winter trees. Roads that aren't the traffic nightmare that is Toronto. Snow that isn't filthy before it even hits the ground.
Sounds nice. The three of you should enjoy it.
Kim stares down at her phone for a minute, before turning to look out the window. The trees aren't exactly bare, although it would look even more lovely to her if they were, but she watches them go by with a thoughtful hum. She'd been home not all that long ago, in the scope of things, but she missed the emptiness of it, sometimes- what with all the bustle of Toronto life. Long quiet roads and stark white spanning along the sides of roads for miles, no one in sight...
Tumblr media
Leaning back in her seat, she lets her gaze move from the scenery to her friends. Joseph and Stephen continuing their banter up front while Stephen tries to consult the map, Ramona still reading beside her, and Scott looking out his own window on the opposite side. She lets herself smile faintly, looking down at her lap. Yeah... it is pretty nice.
Turning back to the window, she rests a cheek in her hand, letting the rushing trees and occasional car all blur together in a motley of colors. Maybe we'll get to do stuff like this more often, if we play well. I think I'd like that.
Tumblr media
---
Later that night, when she finally remembers to, Kim pulls out her phone and reopens the ask, typing up her response.
Yeah... I really miss it, sometimes. The peace. And somehow it's still there, even with this chaotic bunch hanging around. We'll try to. Or I will, at least. Thank you for the reminder.

I have incomprehensible thoughts rn about how many classic American folk songs are kinda fucked up (and many are "sanitized" for modern listening to be less fucked up), and it's wild that we just, teach these songs to children without any context or anything? like, clementine is about a miner's daughter DROWNING TO DEATH as he watches helplessly? Old folks at home is a fucking RACIST AF ass song written by a white dude in the perspective of a slave who has been freed who misses his life on a plantation? when John Henry was sang by miners it often had ad-libbed, graphic lyrics about having sex with women at the end of the work day (as a way to motivate themselves and get them through the hell that was mining in the 1800s), and a lot of our modern versions are just super sanitized? like I get its hard to explain a lot of that shit to kids but like, its often never revisited and those songs are just left as sanitized, incoherent childhood introductions to America when they actually all have great amounts of value and history when put into context!!
#I will die on this hill that American folk music is an important part of history and it makes me sad it gets left behind and sanitized#its original meaning should not be incomprehensible and forgotten. even if it is extremely ugly and vile; or even if its really dark and sa#like in order for the country to reconcile with its evil and paiiiinful past we need to ACKNOWLEDGE IT and stop trying to sanitize it#anyways. fun facts clementine was a favorite song of mine as a child and I still hold it near and dear to my heart. and dont get me STARTED#ON OLD FOLKS AT HOME#that song is soooo racist but I learned it in a cello positions book so I didn't know the lyrics or context for YEARS after I learned it#and I always thought it was such a hauntingly beautiful song cause musically IT IS. SO GOOD.#but goddamn when I found out the lyrics and the context I was so fucking mad. thats some awful fucked up bullshit like I cant even begin#and idk it makes me upset to think about the context but also I think it really important we recognize that was really the true atmosphere#at the time and that was our country. Stephen foster is an American folk legend and he wrote that awful racist song. he is great at his art#form but is not separate from his place in time. he was a racist even if he was progressive at that moment in hisotry.#and that is our country. and idk like I think that that adds even more pain to that song and it makes it even more painful to listen to#and thats why we need to not forget it and listen to it to fucking remember and acknowledge how we got here and what we came from#I hate that song and I love that song but I hate it and ughhhhh I wish I hadn't learned it on cello and loved the melody for years#cause its gross af. but also like#its where we came from so I shouldn't hate our history cause thats ignorant and not productive#anwyays#googoogajoob

I apologize for being a huge butthurt SU fan on main today.
It will happen again. Probably whenever another story driven cartoon's finale occurs and people use that to bash SU too.
Honestly the only thing making that a "probably" is that I can't think of any current story driven cartoons right now.

just finished the third book in the Aubreyad and I am so incredibly happy that Jack is finally going to get married! nothing bad's gonna happen on his way back home, right? right?
also, curse Diana! I like her a lot but how could she do this to Stephen? when are they finally going to get married???
it took me a bit to get through this book due to personal reasons but as soon as I continued reading I couldn't stop!
of course two of the highlights include the fact that Stephen does not get injured once but twice during the course of the story and the focus is never really on what happened to him (it is never directly explained how he was tortured) but exclusively on how much of a bitch he is being during his recovery. it is a true testament to how much the crew and Jack love him that they put up with it <3
(the operation scene is incredible and so much more dramatic than in the movie if that is even possible. it also had a slightly different vibe, being a 20 minute affair)
Stephen is responsible for so much death in this book and I cannot help myself but feel sorry for him, especially when it's the result of him being a giant idiot. (who gives pure silver bracelets to a girl living on the street? what did you think was gonna happen???)
the whole sloth situation is hilarious but as a biologist I cannot stop myself from feeling a little sorry for all these animals being removed from their natural habitats.
the battles in this were absolutely incredible! not that they hadn't been before but this time the stakes were so high when they were defending the indian ships and it was really nice to see what a great strategist Jack truly is.
everyone on board just grows on you so much! and I cannot wait for the next adventure! also, if I had a nickel for every time Jack and Stephen look at each other fondly, I'd be rich by now. just the way their friendship is described is so lovely and gentle and it really, really warms my heart.
every time Pullings shows up, I smile. hopefully, he'll get the first mate position soon. he absolutely deserves it.
and while it was funny for a while how Jack has bad luck with money, I am glad that he can finally stop worrying in that departement.
great to finally be on the surprise! Jack loves her so very much and I cannot help but feel the same <3

working on my Anastasia 2NT review (which is going to be too long, I’m sure) but I just want to say
The Anastasia 2NT is proof that having competent actors who know how to actually connect with others on stage and work with mediocre material to boost it can completely alter your perception of experiencing a show, particularly one with significantly flawed writing.
Sam McLellan somehow almost 100% transcends the horrible way that Dmitry written is on stage, and Kyla Stone’s chemistry with him was probably as close as the stage version will ever get to the 1997!Anastasia/Dmitry dynamic because of all their added physical banter, expressions, and overall growing warm demeanor towards one another which went SO far in downplaying the huge issue of stage!Dmitry being a massive jerk towards Anya for 95% of the show.

If you are not on Twitter but are interested in what's going on with Elon Musk's Twitter, never fear, I am back as your Twitter Correspondent.
So, on Thursday, 4/20, Elon removed all the "legacy verified" blue checks. That means that if you are, say, Taylor Swift or the Pope, and you have a blue checkmark because you have proven you identity and want to avoid being impersonated, that check mark went away unless you paid the $8 to subscribe to Twitter Blue.
The assumption was clearly that, despite all their blustering, when push came to shove the power users would nut up and pay for it, if only to avoid their fans being scammed using their likeness.
That didn't happen. As of 4/21, only weirdo Elon stans had blue checks. Those stans immediately got mad, because they had intended to purchase access to an exclusive club, and all the cool kids left as soon as they arrived.
To make matters worse for Elon, several influential shitposters began posting about #BlockTheBlue, a movement to block all paid Twitter bluechecks, and some even released scripts that would automatically block all bluecheck accounts for you.
However, some people retained their blue checks who swore they hadn't paid for them -- in particular, Stephen King and LeBron James, who had tweeted that they would refuse to pay.
Elon admitted that he had paid for these users' blue checks out of his own pocket. Is he trolling? Is it a weird simp move? Hard to say.
Now, as of 4/22, a whole mess of famous people have bluechecks who aren't paying for them. This seems to be a move to confound the automated Block The Blue scripts. Lil Nas X is tweeting angrily about how he doesn't want his blue check. People are speculating that a new policy has been silently rolled out to automatically assign a blue check to every user with over 1 million followers. Several people have pointed out that this amounts to false endorsement, i.e. implying falsely that a notable person uses or endorses your product without their permission, which is a crime. Blue checks have been posthumously assigned to Anthony Bourdain and Terry Pratchett, whose estates my money is on to be the ones to actually sue.
dril, famous shitposter and Block The Blue promoter, keeps being assigned a blue check as an apparent punishment for crossing Elon, but you can lose your blue check by changing your display name. (It seems really wild to tie the blue check to the display name and not use the username, but it became necessary after the era where all those legacy verified folks unleashed their inner Jaboukie and changed their display names to Elon Musk. As recently as last month a legacy verified user with 100k followers got banned for impersonating JK Rowling apologizing to trans people.) So dril just keeps changing his display name every time they bluecheck him. Elon and dril have been engaged in this game of cat and mouse all day. The "Elon bans dril and we all throw trash at him like New Yorkers defending spiderman" meme will probably come to fruition today or tomorrow.

Ok so I watched the interview with Stephen Rooney, Astarion's writer, and here are some highlights. (I'm an aspiring writer and current game design student who wants to write for games so I'm sorry if some of these insights aren't as interesting to you as they are to me <3)
He calls Astarion his "horrible little vampire boy"
He loves seeing the fandom around Astarion<3
He did write other characters in the game, but mostly NPCs surrounding Astarion or his storyline, so it mostly revolved around Astarion
Astarion is not as connected to other companions/Origins as, for example, Lae'zel and Shadowheart, or Wyll and Karlach are to each other, but he is still reactive to their stories, even if it's just to stand off to the side and laugh when something terrible happens
He had a clear sense of where Astarion's story would start and end, but it got "muddy in the middle", but those are also moments where the best ideas come from
They write from the general idea that every character has one "good" and one "evil" ending, in order to give the player choice. RIP Ascendant apologists :(
According to Stephen, two of the most important aspects of Astarion's character (to keep consistent when bringing him to Idle Champions, at least) is that he enjoys violence, but is also fun about it
"He has a certain appreciation for violence, I guess? A bit of a murdery streak. [...] He's a vampire, he's all about blood, and he's all about, kind of, those darker sides of humanity. [..] But at the same time, he is ... He is really fun, he's really fun to write, he's really fun to have in your party, and it's very important for me that that is also represented."
"He's gonna stab you, but will have a smile on his face as he does it? I mean, I dunno. That's kind of him in a nutshell."
Larian would not have allowed for Astarion to be a typical brooding Dracula type, and there were scenes that were shot down for not being original enough
The main thing about Astarion was trying to get a "sense of fun." It would be easy to write a character that was very unlikable, and they absolutely did not want to do that
Rooney says Astarion is consistently terrible throughout the game and awful in a whole lot of ways, but he also needed to be charming enough that you could tolerate his presence and wanted him around
Rooney also had a lot of input on Astarion's stats (meaning the 10 Charisma is probalby 100% intentional)
He also had input on how certain lines should be delivered, even though the writers didn't directly work with voice actors
The way Astarion moves and poses is "all Neil"
Apparently, Neil Newbon worked on the character for years and Rooney did not speak to him once, though his voice work did influence how Astarion's lines were written and it became a "feedback loop" (Possible context for "ONLY SLIGHTLY, NEIL")
There were no points where a line delivery drastically changed Astarion's writing; rather it was a constant, slow evolution
However, there was one very spoilery moment where Neil gave such emotion to some "basic" lines that it fundamentally changed the scene (WHAT IS IT OMG)
It's difficult to balance approval, as you don't want to straight up write a monster. Every character needs to have some humanity in them. So if it comes to leaving the party, it needed to be the result of something central to said character. They wanted to be mindful of situations that would cause actual rifts between characters. (I assume this is why most generic disapprovals/approvals are +/- 1 or 2, while character-related ones give +/-5 or more)
However, as they don't write straight up horrible people/monsters, it doesn't come up as often as one might think.
The interviewer makes a point about how characters like Astarion and Lae'zel are good examples of how to play "evil" characters, as they are maybe not the best people but are still eager and willing to stick around the other party members
They worked to make sure the characters would work as a group, no matter the configuration of the group. The characters needed to be on the same path, even if they don't always agree or walk that path the same way.
Stephen Rooney is very proud of the "climactic" scene of Astarion's story. (AS HE SHOULD BE.) He even had to step away from the computer and have an emotional moment. Me too, man.
He's also "extremely pleased" that there's a point where you can punch Astarion in the face. "Actually, that one might be my favorite part" A MAN OF THE PEOPLE!!
Stephen Rooney's tip on what specific thing you should try out with Astarion: When he's trying to get a "sneaky nibble" at night, you should "probably" let him bite you. Way ahead of you there, sir.
No discussion about Astarion's romance unfortunately, but that's that!

Neil talking about the responses to Good Omens Season 2 - from the Neil Gaiman interview with Brian Levine for The Gould Standard (x,x)
BL: The audience that you have built is a very passionately engaged audience. They, frankly, they love you. And one of the reasons they love you is that you fit into what I think of as one of two great divisions in art. There's, or in writing, um, there is: I'm entertained, I'm amused. I may be even enchanted; and then there's this hits me at a visceral level. You understand me as no one else does. You have touched something very central to my experience. And it seems to me that Much of your writing, maybe all of your writing, actually reaches your audience at that latter level. You know. I would say in the former category, sort of my quintessential and beloved example would be P. G. Woodhouse. He amuses me, but I don't feel like he's revealed my inner self at a very deep level. Um, were you aware that you were going to be able to achieve that? Um, that this is something... was it a startling thing when people began coming up to you, who'd read your work and said, this means so much to me?
Neil: Yeah. It was huge. And it wasn't expected. I... if I had a mountaintop I was heading towards, it was gonna be P. G. Woodhouse. Um, I wanted to be a proficient entertainer with a clear prose style who could tell stories. Um, it probably wasn't until Sandman that I found... I started to realize that in order for a story to work, I had to show too much. In order for a story to resonate, in order for a story to matter, I had to let it matter too much. And, and I remember the first people who would start coming up to me and saying, um, you, you know, your, your Sandman comics got me through the death of a loved one. Your death character got me through my child's death, through my parent's death, through my partner's death, through my friend's death. Um, and that left me kind of amazed. I'm like, well, I didn't write it to do that. I wrote it to feed my children. I wrote it to satisfy myself. I wrote it because nobody else had ever written it. And if I didn't write it, it wouldn't be written, but I don't think I wrote it to give you what you've taken from it. And I spent really about 20, 25 years feeling awkward about that. And then my father died, in March 2009, and never got to cry about it. Never... I, you know, I've, I've got on a plane and I went to the UK and dealt with the funeral stuff and organized all of that stuff and came back and go toff the plane and went and did Stephen Colbert's Colbert Report and wearing the funeral suit because and that was all I had with me and carried on. And then, somewhere in the middle of summer, I was reading a friend's script. They'd sent me a script and said, can you look this over? And I'm reading it, and on page 20, the lead character meets somebody, and on page 26 maybe, she's dead, and I burst into tears. And I'm bawling. I am sobbing. It is coming out of me in giant racking waves. And I realized that it's everything that I'd been, hadn't let myself feel, or hadn't been able, hadn't stopped enough to let myself feel, was suddenly being given permission to feel by the death of a fictional person who I'd met six pages earlier, ia script. And I thought that... and it was huge for me, and I thought, okay, that's that thing that people are talking about sometimes, when they come tome and they say, you, you did this. So right now, I'm in this weird, wonderful place where I think a lot of people in Good Omens Season 2 thought they were signing up for the P.G. Woodhouse, and didn't know that, no, no, no, you've, you've signed up for the whole thing. You've signed up for the feelings. You've signed up for the emotions. I... it is my job to make you care and to make you feel and to feel things you haven't felt before. And which meant that the first week or so after Good Omens came out, I was getting angry, furious, deeply upset messages on every possible social medium telling me that I had betrayed people, and it was awful, and they couldn't stop crying, and why would I do that to them, and did I hate them? And they hated me. And then a weird sort of phenomenon happened as people would watch the show again. And again. And now they started to know, okay, this is where it's gonna go, this is what's gonna happen, this is how it works. And they started realizing that they were actually feeling things, and that was good. And that they were caring about two people who don't exist. You know, I made them up, and then and Terry Pratchett made them up, and then, um, David Tennant and Michael Sheen gave them life, and then they get to walk around on a screen and you know they don't exist, but you can cry for them, you can love them, they can make you laugh, they can make you exult, and most important of all, they can make you care. And the number of people who are now writing to me, saying, 'This was so important to me. This has changed my life. This makes me feel like I belong. This makes me feel like I can cope. And it's let me sort of find myself. P. S. I hope you get to do Season Three.' is, is huge.

I was just reminded of a Tumblr Q & A from this blog from long ago, and went looking for it, and found it had vanished. I know I didn't delete it which means, I guess, that either someone must have complained about it to Tumblr and had it deleted, or Tumblr sometimes loses posts. My guess would be the former. Does anyone have a screen grab or a record of

As a verdict is possibly hours away, a sense of dread has been building in my stomach for what it will mean for Amber’s future, as well as all victims of intimate partner violence (IPV), particularly as women’s basic rights continue to be under attack in the United States. Like many people who are following the case, I have personal experiences with abuse. Much of my research focuses on IPV, specifically, the disparities in resources and services that are available for survivors to leave their abusers, such as economic, social, geographical barriers. It’s a topic which is deeply tied to my own personal experiences and academic career.
I initially was ambivalent to Amber Heard. Before I began to research the case, I was firmly in the "they both suck" camp, having only briefly glanced through articles. I started to pay more attention to the media coverage over the past six weeks and was really staggered by how Heard was being portrayed as a lying, crazy, gold-digging woman through narratives that were not only going unchallenged, but were heavily perpetuated in the public discourse. Even worse, that the abuse she experienced had been capitalized on by "true crime" junkies and mocked in TikTok videos and Youtube compilations. So I began watching the trial live and found that there was far more evidence and far more substantial evidence which shows that JD was the perpetrator of abuse within their relationship.
The evidence collected through JD's personal texts and emails show an early pattern of abuse. He exerted control over the clothes Amber wore and would become angry when she didn't dress "conservatively". He would consistently accuse her of having affairs with acquaintances, friends, and various co-stars, even with an openly gay director, Clive Barker. He didn't like that she was ambitious and would scorn her when she took opportunities to advance her career. He would constantly refer to her with misogynistic language. He also referred to Amber, an openly bisexual woman, as a “lesbian camp counsellor”. He messaged other men to discuss killing her through drowning and burning her, and then raping her burnt corpse to prove that she was truly dead. This all occurred while they were still dating. She was in her early 20s and he was in 50s. All of these coercive, paranoid, jealous, controlling behaviours are deeply and unequivocally abusive.
None of this includes the evidence which shows physical and sexual abuse. There are audio tapes in which he admits to headbutting her, so hard that she was concerned her nose was broken. In another recording, they discuss how her family and friends have seen her bruises, broken blood vessels, and bald spots from her hair being torn out of her scalp. Another shows him stating “I will smack the ugly c**t before I let her in.” A video shows him aggressively breaking and smashing furniture near her. One interaction reveals that Stephen Deuters, his assistant, begged her to come back to him after her assaulted her on a plane in front of his bodyguards, pleading to her that JD was remorseful for his actions. Heard also has stated he sexually assaulted her multiple times. Remember, he previously discussed violently raping her in those infamous messages to Paul Bettany.
As for witnesses, several testified to seeing bruises on her numerous times, including JD's witnesses, such as their marriage counsellor. A makeup artist, Melanie Inglessis, testified to covering swelling on her lip and two black eyes. Raquel Pennington saw several injuries, including bloodied bald spots on her head, a swollen nose, and cut lip. She expressed fear JD would eventually kill Amber if she didn't leave. Josh Drew also testified to seeing her with injuries, including black eyes, a swollen cheek, and a busted lip. iO Tillet Wright (who Depp misgenders throughout his testimony) recalled hearing JD assault Amber and scream “oh, you think I hit you? You think I fucking hit you? What if I peel your fucking hair back". iO then called 911. This was the incident which led Heard to file for a divorce and a restraining order, two days afterwards. It is worth noting that Pennington, Drew, and Wright all corroborated this incident in their depositions, as did iO’s 2016 essay.
Is she guilty of fighting back? Absolutely. She never lied about doing so, even dating back to her 2016 deposition. However, fighting back against a man who has beaten you, sexually assaulted you, controlled your career, finances, and who you can associate with does not equate to being an abuser. It’s simply surviving. And yes, I’ve heard those audio tapes, the in which she’s expresses her incredulity at him for stating their fights were fair when she feared he would kill her.
His case has relied upon deeply misogynistic narratives to discredit both her claims and her character. She was after his money all along, even though she refused the 30 million dollar fortune she was legally entitled to, as there was no prenup. She painted on bruises, even though a makeup artist testified to covering up her swollen lip and two black eyes. She cut off his finger, even though multiple texts and even an audio recording showcase him admitting to doing it in the midst of a bender. She didn't donate her money, even though she and the organization created a 10 year plan for her to make yearly payments (in my personal opinion, what she does with her money either way is nobody's fucking business). Also worth noting, an ACLU representative testified to her being ahead of schedule until Depp began suing her. She made up a hoax, because she documented her abuse - as we advise all people who are in abusive situations to do. She's a liar, because women are inherently deceitful liars.
None of the evidence that JD's attorneys presented has proven that she defamed him through her op-ed piece. That's likely because their goal was never to prove that her article - which never explicitly references him or their relationship - impacted his career. Those who watched the trial will know, Tracy Jacobs, his agent of 30 years stated that it was his drug and alcohol abuse, anger issues, chronic lateness (7 or 8 hours late to set each day), and unprofessionalism that led to his career decline. Film crews grew tired of working around these problems, and eventually, so did Hollywood. Tina Newman, a Disney Corporate Representative who worked on POTC stated no one knew of Amber’s op-ed until Depp sued her.
The trial was always meant to humiliate, shame, and terrorize her. We are witnessing in a powerful man terrorize his ex-wife through the legal system, all while the world makes TikToks of her sexual assault testimony. JD has a documented history of violence and is due for another court date after assaulting a crew member of the set of City of Lies. To quote his own words, “If I’m angry and I’ve got to lash out or hit somebody, I’m going to do it and I don’t care what the repercussions are. Anger doesn’t pay rent, it’s gotta go. It’s gotta be evicted.”
I don't know whether Amber Heard will win her case. We’re witnessing a radical right-wing political swing to control and criminalize women’s bodies with Roe v. Wade under attack right now. To be blunt, I have very little faith in the justice system and that a jury - in Virginia of all places - will rule in favour of an abused woman over her charismatic, powerful ex-husband. However, I think it's important to remember that Amber did everything right, that is, everything we tell women to do. She documented her abuse, left her abusive partner, and was granted a restraining order - and she's continuing to be punished for doing so. If Amber, a privileged white woman with access to economic resources, is still struggling to escape her abuser, how can we expect women without those privileges to?

Jealous!Eddie.

Baby, I Am Yours |Jealous!Eddie x F!Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
WC: 2K
CW: jealousy, Eddie calls reader a slut, spanking (ass and pussy), p in v, oral (f receiving) dom!eddie/sub!reader
“I saw you!”
“Eddie I don’t know what you thought you saw?”
“Don’t lie to me!”
“I’m not lying!”
You had to call Eddie to pick you up from the restaurant. You were out to dinner with some work friends. You were all sat at a booth and it was packed pretty tightly. Your friend Stephen was next to you the whole night.
Eddie could see you from the parking lot. He watched through the window that you and a guy were sitting pretty close together… So close that his arm was wrapped around you. That was the first thing to make Eddie's blood boil.
Second was when he watched as you hugged Stephen goodbye, and his hand grazed your lower back a little too long.
Third is when he watched as the handsome man kissed you on the cheek. That's when Eddie lost it.
Eddie continued to watch you walk out of the establishment with a smile like nothing had happened. Like Eddie was some shmuck.
Needless to say, Eddie didn't say a word to you the whole way home. Not even a hello when you opened the door.
He seemed fine on the phone when you called him to come and get you so you were utterly confused and upset as to what possibly could have happened from the phone call until now?
“Then how can you explain that I saw you two!”
“Saw what?”
“You even smell like him!”
“That’s what this is about? Because I sat with my friend?”
“Don’t act like you two weren’t cuddling in that booth”
“He's just a friend!”
“Friends don’t linger like that.”
“I dont-”
“Exactly, you can’t explain yourself.” He walked away from you. You watched as he walked into the kitchen and plop down dramatically at the table facing away from you.
Eddie was seething.
“Okay.” You take a breath, “can we please just talk about this like adults?” You asked in a calm, soothing voice.
You walked up behind Eddie, gripped a shoulder in each hand to gently massaged the muscle. He was very tight; you could tell he needed to let off some steam.
“Baby,” you bent down lower to his ear before you pushed the hair that was covering his neck out of the way so you could plant a small kiss on the spot you know he loves the most. “I’m yours, baby, no one else’s.”
Eddie was fighting with himself; he was so mad. So fucking angry that you were acting this way... like he means nothing to you. When you get too friendly with your ‘friend.’ You couldn’t help but be the most beautiful girl in the room. He knew that, but you didn’t have to entertain all the men that came up to you… What else could have happened while you were there all day and night with this guy?
But now you’re here touching him, kissing him. Telling him you’re his and his alone. Eddie’s jeans were already starting to get tight from your words.
Eddie startled you when he stood up suddenly.“You wanna play this way?” His eyes were so dark, darker than what you expected. You must really have pissed him off tonight…
“Baby, I love you. I don’t know what else to do to show you.” You gripped his shirt like you were begging him to believe you.
“I know you do, baby girl. But sometimes your actions have consequences.”
“Oh,” your shoulder fell with disappointment. You were going to be punished. Probably no sex until he felt better or until you drove him crazy by walking around naked.
“You’re going to get into the bedroom, you’re going to strip for me, and when I come in, you better be on the bed. You think you can do that?” He cupped your cheek lovingly as he spoke.
“Okay,” you bounced. Eddie almost broke. Damn, you were too adorable to stay mad at sometimes, but then he got a whiff of that guy's cologne and remembered why he was so damn jealous.
You were naked and ready, waiting in the bed for about ten minutes before Eddie decided it was time. He went out to have a cigarette beforehand. You could smell it on him as he entered the room.
“Good, so you can listen to me.” Eddie sat on the edge of the bed and asked you to come over to him.
“Bend over,” he pointed to his lap.
You silently obeyed. You were so turned on by Eddie right now that you would do anything he said.
“Seems like I have to teach you a lesson, baby. You’ve been naughty. Wouldn’t you agree?” His calloused fingers trailed almost the cool skin of your backside. You weren’t sure if it was his touch or his voice that made you shiver with anticipation.
“Ummm, yes?” You were unsure if Eddie wanted you to push back more.
“Good girl.”
“I think ten should suffice.”
“Okay.” You try and hide your excitement.
“Count”
A sharp slap filled the room as Eddie’s hand made contact with your ass cheek.
“One,” you moan.
“What’s your colour, baby?”
“Green,” you smile.
Eddie didn’t want to hurt you, but he did want to see that fat of your ass jiggle when his hand comes down on your cute little ass.
“Six,” you pant. Your ass stung but in the best way possible.
“Seven,” you could feel your pussy dripping down your inner thighs.
“Eight” You shifted a little; you were the thing of getting some relief from your clit.
“Nine” it wasn’t helping that you could feel Eddie’s hard cock poking you.
You waited for the last slap, but instead, you felt Eddie’s fingers trail along your crack to your soaked pussy lips.
“Part your legs wider for me. Yea, that’s it,” he praised.
*smack*
“Ten!” You cried out as Eddie slapped your pussy, and it sent a spark right through you.
“You’re soaked; you like when you get punished? Little slut.”
“Baby, please.” You needed relief. Something. Anything to touch your weeping pussy.
“This is my pussy understand?”
Eddie man handles you until you’re on your back, spreading your legs as far as he can force them to go.
“No one gets to touch you unless it’s me.”
Another sharp slap filled the room as Eddie’s fingers made contact with your puffy pussy lips. You quiver under Eddie as your body jerks from the small slap.
“Hey! You said ten”
*slap*
“You wanna make it fifteen”
“No” you squeak. Or maybe you did.
“Tell me baby, who owns this pretty little pussy”
“you” you moan
“I didn’t quite hear that?” He swiped his fingers through your wet slit rubbing your pussy finally.
*slap*
“YOU! You baby! Please”
“Good girl.” Eddie crawls up to kiss you for the first time that night. But it’s nothing but rough and possessive. His tongue forces its way into your mouth, claiming you. Your hands find their way to his hair. You grip him, pulling you in closer. Like you need to mould yourself to him.
Eddie yanks himself from your grip, and you whimper at his loss.
“Gotta remind you, gotta claim my girl.”
“Eddie,” you whimpered.
“That’s right, tell your master who you belong to.”
“Eddie,” you whine one more time before he devours your pussy.
You can't help but arch your back, pushing your wanton pussy into Eddie's face. Your fingers latch onto the roots of Eddie's brown curls as you ground yourself. You can't help but ride your boyfriend's face as his tongue works its magic on you.
“Oh my god!” Eddie slips his thick digit into you easily.
“Yes baby, I am your God.” his fingers pump in and out of you, finding that sweet spot inside of you that makes your mind go numb.
“Please, please, please!” You can’t help but gyrate your hips against Eddie’s fingers and mouth.
“You gonna cum?”
“Yes!”
Suddenly Eddie’s touch disappears and your orgasm goes with him.
“No!” You’re almost in tears.
“You think you get off that easy? Not when you let another man touch what is mine. You cum when I say you get to. Understand?”
“I’m sorry, baby! Please I need you so badly.”
“The only way you’re coming in on my cock, baby girl, got it?”
“Okay,” you huff in frustration.
“Colour?” He cock,s his head snapping out of character.
“Green,” you smile up at him.
“Good.” he quickly kisses your lips before manhandling you once more so you’re on your hands and knees.
You hear a guttural growl leave Eddie’s mouth as he examines you from the back. As you look over your shoulder, you can see his head thrown back with his fist in his mouth. A slight sense of pride builds as your boyfriend gawks at you.
“God damn,” you hear him whisper under his breath as he observes the markings of puffy flesh that his hands left on your skin as he undresses himself.
You bravely wiggle your ass, and Eddie grips your hips to still you. He drops so he is at eye level with your pussy. He can’t help himself but lick a fat strip from your clit all the way up to your lower back. Your body shakes as his warm, wet tongue glides through your body.
“So reactive to me” he stands to lean over your body so he can play with your clit a little more.
“Mmmmm” you let your body melt into his touch.
Eddie’s cock can’t stand it anymore. It’s been solid as a rock since you started massaging his shoulders in the kitchen. He had to have you.
“I’m gunna fuck this tight little pussy until you forget every man that came before me. You’re going to be ruined for any other man that isn’t me. Got that?”
“Yes, please just fuck me already!” You regret your outburst the second it leaves your mouth.
“You’re lucky I need to fuck you as much as I need to baby, or else you’d be over my knee in a second. Got it?”
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I just need you so bad- OH.”
Eddie’s cock plunged into you, finally.
Your head was yanked back as Eddie pulled your hair back to use as something to hold on to.
It was hard, it was fast, but it felt so so good. His cock hit you just right, your g spot being abused, and your eyes rolled back into your head. You were babbling about god knows what, but this is exactly how you liked it.
“Yes, baby! Scream my name. Tell me who your master is! Your god!”
“You, Eddie, only you!”
Eddie was feral; the way your pussy was gripping his cock was otherworldly. It was so tight and wet that he could have cum in minutes. But no, he won’t let that happen until you’re falling apart around him first.
“You’re such a slut for my cock, and my cock alone.”
Eddie's hips snapped into your ass so ferociously you could hear the smacking of skin in the skin over your loud moans.
“Yes!” You cried.
Your body was almost numb with pleasure. Your orgasm was so close to exploding.
“I’m so close,” you pant.
“You gunna cum on my cock?”
“Yes, oh god!”
“Good. Here is what’s going to happen, baby. You’re going to cum when u tell you, then I’m going to cum so deep inside your little cunt you’ll be leaking me for days. I’m gonna claim this pussy as mine and mine alone.”
“Fuck yes!”
“You want that baby? Your cunt got tighter when I talked about breeding your tight pussy. Is that what you want? You want me to fuck you full of my cum?”
“Eddddddddie!”
“Cum for your matser.”
He didn’t have to tell you twice. You let go, your body felt like it was on fire, the way your muscles seized, and you lost control. You allow yourself to be washed over by the feeling of your own pleaser. And just like Eddie promised, he fucked you so good that no other could ever give you the pleasure that he does.
"Fucking cunt is so tight I'm going to full this pussy so good," Eddie spoke through gritted teeth as his own orgasm washed over him. Both of your bodies flop lifelessly onto the bed, and your muscles give out. Eddie quickly rolls off of you so he doesn't squish you.
"You okay baby?" he quickly asks
"More than okay."
"I wasn't too rough or mean, was I?"
"No, you were perfect." You roll over to snuggle into your boyfriend.
"Baby..."
"Yeah"
"You know Stephen is gay, right?"
"What?!"

DP x DC prompt 7
So Danny has time powers, not many but some. He'd been training under Clockwork enough to where Clockwork thinks it's a good idea to grant those to Danny, and Danny knows more or less how they work.
For the most part he just fixes or gets rid of objects with them (think the first Doctor Strange movie where Stephen is messing with the apple using the Time Stone). Like he rewound the transmission on Jazz's car when it goes to when it's brand new, since Jazz didn't have the money to fix it or to really get a new car. He also puts dangerous things forward in time, such as inventions his parents make that're too dangerous to be left around.
The issue here comes when Danny ends up in Gotham, however that comes about, and ends up a hostage of The Joker. Danny was not really aware before this point that his powers worked so well on living beings, tho he probably should have guessed. He didn't even mean to throw The Joker's body forward in time, it just happened. For a brief moment Joker looks like that one dude from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade who chose the wrong cup (the whole "He chose poorly" scene) before he crumbles to dust.
