So I've been thinking. This lines actually really neat. On the surface it just comes off as Zinnia getting a dig in at Steven, as she's known to do. But I think it's a bit more than that. It is a dig at him but its also about how he genuinely seems happier doing detective things than he does as Champion and heir to the Devon Corporation.

He even admits himself several times in the event that he enjoys it and says that becoming an independent detective doesn't sound bad. He also says that the clothes help him concentrate better.

So yeah its a dig at him but its also more than that. Zinnia knows that Steven doesn't feel happy or fulfilled as Champion and even if she'd never admit it, wants to help push him towards finding his real calling in life, rather than the path that others laid out before him.
