OH BOY YOU OPENED THE FLOOD GATES- hi yes i am full of Grimsley thoughts so much-

Starting off with some headcannons about his design/appearance

-i am not immune to Grimsley with fangs its too fun to draw. my thoughts is that he has a genetic quirk that makes his canines slightly larger than the average person, this is the reason you'll occasionally see me draw characters i headcannon as related to Grimsley such as Giacomo or my fankid Bug with the fangs as well as they have this same genetic trait. The fangs may make him look like a vampire but he isn't actually one, although he likes to tell children he's secretly one.

-another little genetic trait i imagine for Grimsley is that he naturally has a fair bit of body hair (a detail i decided on when designing my oc Garry who is his twin brother. Grimsley is fairly insecure about this fact about himself though and is fairly persistent about shaving.

-painted nails and makeup, he absolutely deserves to serve whenever he can, i also like to draw him with earrings on top of that. Grimsley grew up in a rich family and likes to look the part even if his financial situation is a lot less stable these days due to his gambling.

-Grimsley is fairly tall, my personal height headcanon for him being around 6ft tall.

-constant dark circles under his eyes, he's a constant night owl staying up late either spending time at casinos or training his pokemon. my man desperately needs full nights sleep but he says the dark circles "add to his aesthetic.

-he feels most comfortable dressing in formal wear his wardrobe mostly consisting of gothic suits and vests and the like, (that man needs to dress like a vampire 24/7), although he does own a couple dresses because i will die on my bigender Grimsley hill. he has some dialogue on masters about how he primarily wears tight fitting clothing and that his kimono outfit is a change of pace for him so add that to the pile too.

as for songs... i have full playlist for songs that remind me of him.

the playlist is fully in chronological order because i'm kinda insane about him.

a handful of songs are related to OC stuff (Childish War being about his relationship with my oc Garry mentioned earlier and a couple of the songs being connected to my boyfriend @plushegutzz's OC Blaine who they ship with him and i do some cowriting for) but overall i'd say it's a really good playlist for my version of Grimsley and his lore.

apologies if you weren't expecting a full essay in response to this ask, but i have SO MANY Grimsley headcanons and this isn't even the tip of the iceberg (i will happily infodump more if people request it)
