ITTSSSSS TIMEEEEEE for bachelors yapping time continues! Imma be going over what I think should change about the bachelors after you marry them :3 this will all be going off the assumption that there is now a 20 heart limit and 1-3 additional cutscenes

Spoilers for stardew relationships btw

Alr first my favorite bachelor: Alex. I’m thinking although Alex always stays in shape he does give up on his dreams of being a professional grid ball player, buttttt I think it would be really nice if he starts a workout club for the dudes fr, where they work on personal fitness, getting stronger, and now Harvey could have a place to get fitter while feeling less embarrassed! Maybe when he starts it you get a little quest to gather stuff to make workout equipment and he uses an additional wing of your house to do so. I also think it would be nice if he starts working as a gridball commentator so that he can still enjoy his favorite spot. A cutscene for both of these ideas would be nice

Next is our favorite recoverin alcoholic: SHANE I personally love Shane so much he’s amazing. I think as you progress your relationship with Shane he could help Pam get her addiction under control. Of course though, his main pursuit after he marries you would be the chickens! I’m thinking he would either join Marnie at the ranch and start helping out there or he could be the “coopmaster” at your farm, and he could do the same thing as an autopetter and auto grabber, but all eggs harvested by him would be one quality grade higher, and if you have blue chickens they would produce “Blue Eggs”, which would sell for a lot more and produce “Blue Mayo”, which could be a loved gift for Shane and maybe Jas. His new cutscenes could be a scene where a blue chicken lays the first blue egg and a scene where he talks to Pam about addiction.

Now we got Elliot. The weird thing about Elliot is he actually does do things after you marry him. He ends up going on a tour for his book! This is amazing but I think it could be expanded on. I’m thinking he decides to write another book about life in Pelican Town and after a while it’s a cult hit. He becomes quite famous and gets visited by paparazzi in a cutscene where he talks to you about the burden of fame but how it’s all worth it with you by his side (aww). You could also after that get fan mail delivered to your mailbox? Could be fun and maybe another secret could be added from that. In addition to all that, I think marrying Elliot could give you an exclusive book power? I don’t have any ideas specifically but that would make sense ✨

Harvey: Harvey, after you marry him, would still work at the hospital, but he would no longer charge you for services like reviving you, and you would have a special cutscene where he tells you “you make me worry about you too much when you go into the mines” “I love you too much” or something like that. I also think that he would start talking to the people who fly above the valley and begin to be known as the Stardew Valley Navigator, and maybe you would meet one of the pilots and he would take Harvey for a ride in the plane :3 also I feel like as his relationship with you progressed he would no longer love coffee because he isn’t overworking himself so much :D other ideas include a slight health increase when married to Harvey and maybe a scene where he impresses the A.S.S trio with his knowledge of jazz

Alright next up is Sam! First up, I think Sam needs to start getting bigger with his music. After you reach 16 hearts, he should get an offer from a minor record company who really liked his sound in the “Happy Junimo Show” soundtrack. They offer a deal where he sells them one single and if it works out they could get him signed. You receive three choices for the genre, and he submits it and waits. A week later, he hears back from the company, who really enjoyed it and offer him a contract. This leads to another cutscene at 18 hearts where he performs his first single as the opener for a music festival. After that, you can always hear that first single on Sam’s boombox. Sam brings you up on stage and says “This song is dedicated to my amazing partner, [name]”, and the cutscene ends.

Sebastian: Sebastian is too edgy bro but I’ll make this shit work lemme lock in rq

Sebastian, of course, starts to breed frogs! I think that could be really cool if you could get a cutscene where you now have a frog that roams the farm looking cute, maybe collecting mixed seeds and fiber and delivering it to you while you’re in bed? I’m going to be so fr I can’t think of stuff for him lol he’s a lot harder ngl… Maybe a garage addition to the house? Where he works on his motorcycle once a week?Ngl this is mid he’s too emo lol LMK IF YOU HAVE BETTER IDEAS

Headcanons: Crushing > First Kiss > Dating + Proposal with Tom Paris

Requested by: Three separate anons.

Pairing: Reader x Tom Paris (Star Trek Voyager)

Gender: Neutral Triggers: Brief mentions of injuries

Note: Sorry it took me a while to get these out! I’m not sure how I feel about these, but I hope you guys like them!

Crushing:

✭ Being stuck on a starship in space is difficult enough, and it’s almost impossible not to get a crush on someone you are stuck around constantly

✭ But you were a bit surprised when the crush you developed was on Tom, he was just a friend but, you started to want more

✭ Tom was just as surprised when he noticed his own crush on you as well

✭ You realized your crush when you were talking to him one day and he smiled at you, and you felt your heart almost implode

✭ Not to mention the surely noticeable way your face flushed

✭ Tom noticed his crush when he heard you laugh in the cafeteria one day and he couldn’t help his eyes seeking you out, or the way he desired to hear your laugh again

✭ Both of you began to notice the way you got nervous around each other, yet at the same time you would seek each other out for no reason other than to just be around each other

✭ And of course, you were both oblivious to each others feelings

✭ Tom having a crush on you also includes random acts of unnecessarily kindness; such as suddenly taking a not-so heavy box out of your arms and carrying it for you, helping you with tasks revolving around your station when he is done for the day at his own, him randomly making sure you’ve been drinking plenty of water and eating, etc.

✭ He just seemed to be more caring towards you. This is when you finally began to notice that he might have developed feelings towards you.

✭ He began to notice you’re feelings towards him when he kept catching you watching him out of the corner of his eye.

✭ When he thought that you might feel the same, he couldn’t contain his excitement, and began to try and figure out the best way to confess his feelings

First Kiss:

✭ When he finally decided to confess his feelings, it all went wrong.

✭ He had asked you on a date

✭ Which came as a shock to you, but a great one at that. Both of you were so nervous and excited.

✭ Unfortunately, it all backfired when the Voyager came across a group of aggressive aliens that attacked the ship

✭ After that whole ordeal was over, Tom noticed that he hadn’t seen you around, and he got worried

✭ Finding out that you had been injured, he ran to the med-bay

✭ You were conscious, but bandaged, and pretty banged up

✭ When you saw him, you gave him a smile, which he returned with a small one, clearly laced with worry.

✭ “So much for our date huh?” you would joke lightheartedly, hoping to lighten the mood as he approached your bedside

✭ Tom would feel such an abundance of relief that he would loose sight of his senses, suddenly leaning down an kissing you

✭ It was quick, as he realized what he had done as soon as he did it

✭ Straightening up quickly he’d rub the back of his neck, “S-Sorry, I should have asked first, I was just so glad that you are alright”

✭ You’d get over your shock with a smile at his shyness “It’s alright...I didn’t mind, besides, we can reschedule the date” you finished, trying to calm him down by suggesting it

✭ He would be relived and smile big “Good, I would love that”

Dating:

✭ You would start officially dating after your real first date, which came the day after you got out of the med-bay.

✭ Dating Tom would be a relationship full of humor and laughter, as making you laugh was one of his top priorities, you lived a stressful life being stranded in space, so he always wanted to make sure you would smile

✭ Of course with it’s ups, it had it’s downs too

✭ Tom could be pretty stubborn so you might clash on opinions from time to time, but there was nothing ever big enough that you couldn’t get over it

✭ Most of the time it was like dating your best friend, always making jokes, and having great conversations, and just being comfortable around each other

✭ When things would go wrong, you were both protective of each other, always wanting to keep the other out of harms way

✭ If either of you got hurt, it was a mix of fear, pain, stress, and relief when they would end up being okay

✭ Though, this is also the sort of situation that might lead to you having a fight

✭ One of you making a difficult decision and getting hurt, the other one being angry at the other for doing so. But in the end of course, you’d get over it, and would be happy that it all hopefully worked out.

✭ Tom insists on having at least one date a week, switching off between the two of you, using the holodeck of course

✭ Sometimes you would have double dates with other couples on the ship, allowing you to form even more friendships

Proposal:

✭ After dating for two years, and having been stuck on Voyager for just over three years (its seven years total in the series I believe), Tom finally decided that he wanted to marry you

✭ He was incredibly excited, but also nervous.

✭ He worked with some engineers and friends on the ship to make an engagement ring, that he thought would be temporary, but you ended up loving it so much that you kept it

✭ Tom wanted to plan a beautiful holodeck date for your anniversary, that would end in fireworks (literally) and him on one knee.

✭ But just like the first date, it didn’t go as planned, of course.

✭ Things went wrong, aliens attack, as per usual

✭ You end up trapped on an unusual planet, running from dangerous aliens

✭ You and Tom, both injured, are hiding in a cave system, waiting to hopefully be rescued by Voyager, but it wasn’t looking good

✭ You were clinging to each other, trying to stay warm, both of you tired, and weak from your injuries

✭ He would stare at you for a moment, hidden fear in both of your eyes, both of silently you thinking that you weren’t going to make it back

✭ “I love you Y/n” “I love you too Tom”

✭ He would pause for a moment before stroking your face “If we make it out of here I want you to marry me”

✭ You would stare at him in shock for a second, before you smiled at him “Is that why you were so torn up about our anniversary date being ruined?”

✭ He’d chuckle lightly “Yeah, it is. I just wanted it to be special ya’ know?”

✭ “I don’t need candlelight and nice food for a question like that Tom. Of course I’ll marry you”

✭ Both of your fears would disappear as you hugged each other in happiness, but only momentarily, as it would slowly slink back as you clung to each other, and the sky began to darken outside.

✭ Eventually you’d both lose consciousness from your injuries, but luckily, Voyager found you and brought you back to the ship

✭ After you recovered together in med-bay, you got your ring (that he had made a couple weeks prior), and you planned a lovely ceremony that would take place a few weeks later.

4. Favorite alien species?

Ooh okay so I love the Romulans a BUNCH but picking a favorite is kinda... weird? Like I love certain characters or societal norms but I can’t say I love all Romulans just like I can’t say I love all Russian people (sorry Chekov)

7. Who would make up your crew dream team?

(The entire crew) cough but if I had to pick an away team I’d pick Spock, Uhura, Kirk, Chekov, and Bones :P

8. Which captain would you most want to serve under?

KIRK of course. (Does that mean I serve under myself?)

f. Diplomatic negotiations or all out battle?

Hmmmm well I’m more a fan of nuance than a shooting war (side eyes Abrams) but the threat of battle or violence or even the reality of it adds depth to negotiations... so kinda both? But mostly the first. :P

15. Top 3 favorite alien crewmembers?

What constitutes an alien? Technically Kirk is an alien one he’s in space and away from Terra. :P

That being said, my favorite non-Terran crew members are Spock, Worf, and Gaila.

17. What role would you have aboard a starship?

Heh. Honestly I’d be an ensign or a yeoman. Some redshirt who dies in the first 3 seconds of the show.

22. Would you rather serve on a starship or a space station?

Starship all the way!

Spock on an internal level, strangely enough.

KHAAAAAAAAAAAN. And Nero.

Hmm... any M class, I suppose. I’m less interested in location than opportunity. As long as it had like... wifi and pizza, I’d be fine.

Unrealistically I’d get Nero’s tattoos XD but realistically I’d get something in Vulcan down my spine.

41. Which episode(s) creeped out/scared you the most?

Uhhh none? It’s kinda campy across the board :P Plus I have night terrors so it takes a lot to scare me. (I just rewatched Insidious last night and had nightmares about a completely different and terrifying thing so... wheee)

Oh lord. So many. The one that really f-ed me up (besides Plato’s Children) on a philosophical level was A Taste Of Armageddon.

Chekov would go bananas over social media. Snapchat and Vine would be his favorite.

45. Which alien culture would you most want to live in/would feel most comfortable?

Those are two different questions. I’d like to live amongst Vulcans both to try and reign in my own emotions and bring theirs out, but I’d be miserable there. I might, unfortunately, flourish amongst the Romulans, but I think I’d be most comfortable wherever there’s a healthy mix of people.

47. An unpopular opinion you have?

Hggg which one?? I don’t think Chekov and Sulu would be good together. There. Let the flame wars begin.

50. A random headcanon?

Kirk wakes up .05 minutes before he has to be on the bridge and Spock is furious because he has to wake up like 10 hours before his shift to get ready and Kirk just rolls out of bed looking like his thicc and fine self.

Beauty and the Beast Post-Curse headcanons Part 3: Christmas in the Castle

I’ve come to accept that there is now a corner of my brain that seems permanently dedicated to thinking up Beauty and the Beast headcanons. From this little corner of my brain arose the question “After spending so much time trapped in an eternal winter, how would the members of the castle react to the changing seasons and the eventual return of winter(albeit a distinctly less permanent one)?” And just like opening the floodgates, more headcanons came pouring in! So with that I present the winter/Christmas BATB headcanons no one else asked for... (Note: I loved the STV Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Christmas as a kid, but it just doesn’t fit with the new live action movie which is where I’ve been drawing inspiration from... so I made up my own fangirl fluff version. Enjoy!)

- At the sight of the first snowflakes of the season Adam frowns up at the sky, his old, grumpy self threatening to return. And then he sees Belle, cheerful and excited, look up to greet the snow. Her cheeks rosy from the cold. Arms stretched out wide, tongue extended to catch the falling flakes. He can’t help but laugh. After all, it was in those snowy days that he first fell in love with her.

- As winter sets in around the castle and the nights grow cold, Adam convinces Belle to spend her nights in the west wing with him. He claims it is for warmth. In reality he just wants her there with him. He wants Belle to be the first thing he sees each snowy morning. A reminder that this winter is different. He loves that he can hold her close in the night, nestle his face in her hair, feel her snuggle closer to him in her sleep. She teases him that he snores and that his toes are always cold. He sleeps better with her there. They both do. For the first week or so Adam is very hard to get out of bed in the morning, insisting any responsibilities that day can wait a few more minutes.

- During the curse the castle never celebrated Christmas (to be fair no one really felt much like celebrating.) Belle insists that they should have a proper Christmas celebration in the castle this year now that the curse has been lifted. The very next morning Adam surprises Belle by having the entire castle decorated. Candles and holly everywhere!

- Lumière is in full favor of the festivities and plans a grand feast. His goal is to see if he can out-do his performance from Be Our Guest, though now that he is back to his human self, swinging from the chandelier may be a bit more...challenging.

- Lumière also takes advantage of the holiday spirit by flirtatiously holding mistletoe above his head when he is near Plumette. She steals the mistletoe which leads to him playfully chasing her around the castle.

- Before Belle’s school lets out for the holidays, the children are allowed a recess time to play in the snow, the sound of laughter and playful shrieks echoing across the castle grounds. A great snowball fight breaks out. The children all scatter when they see Adam start to gather a great mound of snowy ammunition. Some run to join him, while others try to valiantly protect Belle from their snow fort. At one point Lumière and Plumette are forced to make their way through crossfire of the flying snow. Lumière shields Plumette with his coat and frantically waves a white handkerchief as they run across the snowy ground to safety inside the castle. LeFou shows some of the more pacifist children how to build a snowman, safely outside the line of fire.

- On their last day of school the children are each given a few presents. Belle gives them a journal to write their own stories in. Plumette, a new quill for them to write with. Adam gives them each a rose (the white ones still bloom in winter even after the curse is broken.) Maurice gives them a tiny music box. Lumière gives them each a small jar of the grey stuff as a treat for the ride home.

- Chip convinces everyone that they should all make Christmas cookies together. Adam ends up breaking a few at first but after a little practice gets pretty good at decorating. He later breaks a few on purpose so he can eat them. He also tries to start a frosting fight until Mrs. Potts shoots him a maternal look that tells him he should reconsider. Belle’s cookies are simple and cute. Plumette’s delicately detailed. Lumière’s are covered in decorative sugars. Cogsworth gets roped into helping and ends up making several as he gets into a steady decorating rhythm. Cadenza and Garderobe make a few for themselves but are more interested in baking dog-safe cookies for FrouFrou.

- Maestro Cadenza decides to compose his own Christmas music (insisting work by other composers to be rubbish unfit for such a special occasion) and can be heard playing almost constantly. Garderobe teaches the village children the words to a few of his carols and has them sing for him.

- Everyone gets together to decorate the castle Christmas tree. Adam hangs some childhood ornaments that were his mother’s favorites. Belle works in flowers and tiny carved ornaments that Maurice made. Some look like books, while others are tiny carved likenesses of the members of the castle. Maurice also makes a mechanical ring of ballroom dancers to dance around the base of the tree when the music box attatched plays. There is a section along the bottom that Chip claimed as his own. Lumière is in charge of the candles. Plumette nestles little fake birds among the branches and places the angel on top. Madame de Garderobe winds a ribbon garland around the tree and hangs delicate gold music note ornaments. Cadenza provides the music to decorate to, enjoying watching his wife and friends at work. Cogsworth attempts to make sure everything is spaced properly, hanging a few shiny old pocket watches as ornaments when he thinks no one is looking.

Stardew valley rant:

I’ve recently been really getting into the life of spouses after you marry them, because for the majority of them, they kinda just stick at home, occasionally visiting family or friends. And those who do still do stuff, it never changes. Maru always works with Harvey at the clinic, Emily always works for Gus at the saloon, nothing really changes in their lives besides a new, much more sedentary lifestyle. I really would like for the spouses to get new hobbies and stuff when they marry you, so here’s my little ideas/headcannons, bachelorettes first!

Abigail: She begins to work on her adventuring skills in the mines and you’ll find her on every fifth floor, going further and further. She’ll give you gems from her travels, and eventually, when she reaches the bottom of the mines, she’ll start going to the skull caverns where she’ll give you iridium and the occasional prismatic shard. Something cool that could happen would be the addiction of an elevator to the skull caverns as she travels further down, every 25 floors. She would also become a member of the adventurer’s guild and serve as Marlon’s apprentice, taking over the guild on some days or opening a branch in the Calico desert that she mans sometimes.

Maru: Maru never really branches out beyond her personal inventions, so I think there could be a quest where she asks you for a new wing of the house that she could use as a workshop. This wing would be constructed by Robin, would be unlocked at 20 hearts, and would cost 750,000 gold, 250 hardwood, 10 iridium bars and 10 battery packs. Then, you could accept quests from Maru every once in a while and unlock new inventions that she made that would increase qol. Maybe she could give you a crafting recipe for auto-petters, she could make a device that automatically plants grass in meadows for your animals, a machine that can increase the quality of items by using a resource or something, the possibilities are endless!

Penny; Penny is always caring for the children of the valley, and I think it would be great if when you marry her, like Maru, you eventually get a quest that allows you to build a school for the kids, possibly utilizing the space to the left of the community center. Maybe then we could have another mini-festival where you can see the children of stardew valley show off their work, maybe unlock a “Talent Show” cutscene where Jas, Vincent, and Leo show off their skills fr. This idea is more underwhelming than my first two and could definitely be improved.

Emily: I think as you progress your post marital relationship with Emily you could help her convince Sandy to move to the valley and have someone else take over the Oasis, learning Sandy’s real name, unlocking special cutscenes with her, etc. I also feel like Emily would have a little workshop where she makes clothes and you could unlock a system where she takes your gems and a clothing item and combines them, giving your clothes a buff, like combining Topaz with a shirt gave the shirt a +1 defense buff, etc. Emily could even start a clothing line and you could gift these clothes to townspeople and get new sprites and portraits for them :D

Haley: After marriage, Haley does literally nothing but see Emily once a week. This needdsss to change, so I think she could discover her passion for photography again and start a blog about the valley, which would unlock a building to the right side of the Bus Stop: the Tourist Center. You could open a tourist center with Haley and occasionally get tourists that come to the valley, similar to the tourists at the Stardew Valley Fair. These tourists could roam around the town for a bit, and you could unlock new dialogue with the townspeople about the tourists, like “These tourists are really boosting the community economy!”

(Cc specific) Leah: Leah would start hosting art classes in the community center every Wednesday! Every month, the group of people who decided to attend could make a new painting that could be hung up in the community center, orrrr you could unlock a new building between the Blacksmith and the Movie Theater/JojaMart, where you could see the different art pieces and could have a new festival, the stardew valley fine arts conference, where the Famous Painter Lupini could host a talk with the artsy people from the valley and Zuzu City, and you could get new clothing items, a cutscene, dialogue, new paintings and sculptures, etc.
