I have no idea if this fits anything you wanna write, but since you posted talking about ideas…I would love to see anything where Vincent REALLY struggles to/can’t hide his symptoms (whether that be an allergy attack, a really hoarse voice from a cold or even strep, etc). Idk! I just feel like so far, he’s very like…put together, even when he’s sick (though I know he struggled when he had that allergy attack from the cat…but was able to retreat to a bathroom). I would love to see him have to be vulnerable and *not* put together, even if it’s just in front of Yves (okay especially in front of Yves).

🌈 : what's the most 2010s wcforum era esque fandom opinion you still hold onto and will fight people over (things like scourges collar color, dovewings eye color, etc)

i will never /fight/ people over things like pelt color/eye color because artistic freedom is Cool and Epic!!! however, when it comes to my own personal interpretation…

1. mapleshade is tortoiseshell. i don’t CARE that she was originally described as orange and white, tortoiseshell is FAR COOLER (and more iconic at this point)

2. i know lilyheart has since been retconned to be gray and white but i deeply miss when she was calico/a sorreltail clone and seedpaw was golden/a brackenfur clone :( adds to the tragedy of their little family with sorreltail and seedpaw’s premature deaths

3. the most controversial… i don’t “get” colorpoint hawkfrost. once again, i will NEVER argue with anyone about this, i’ve seen some awesome interpretations of hawkfrost as a colorpoint, but since the text describes him as the spitting image of tigerstar, i can’t help but picture him /exactly/ like tigerstar but with a cooler color palette lol

a few questions for the legally blind-

(idk how to do this, so i’ll make the text large in case, hope it helps-) i’m trying to write a story about a legally blind character. i think i’ve researched fairly well, but to be sure, i’d like to ask if anyone can give me advice. what are some struggles that able bodied people don’t think of? i’ve heard that blind people’s other senses get better, but i’ve also heard that it’s not true. just- in general, what should i keep in mind? how do i make sure it’s not portrayed badly?
