I'm so glad I make most ref sheets for my comic characters have interesting poses instead of tposes not because it gives me good practice for more "advanced" poses but because if they where all T-posing or A-posing then I'd just think of the standing emoji or the fucking tf2 pose glitch and I wouldn't be able to take these (mostly) serious characters seriously 💀💀💀💀

#like obviously ref sheets for 3d models are a different story #because they actually need to be in those poses in order to model them correctly #but when im drawing them and not planning on making a 3d model then for my sanity im not making them look like that #ill have to look at these references every time im drawing them in the comics they're in #i cant be giggling like a fool while drawing a depressing or scary scene it'll ruin the vibe
