SUBLIME CINEMA #664 - GOODBYE DRAGON INN
A film for and about cineastes, made of a kind of slow core creeping nostalgia. It revolves around a single night in a cinema which is about to shut down for good, drawing all shades of nocturnal humanity for a midnight, final showing.
Atmospheric and beautiful pic from Ming-Liang Tsai, shot I believe in Taipei.

The red thread has always connected them, the red of destiny and blood and love has always been around them and between them.
And it has only grown more direct.
Qian is the one who tied the string first but it Yuan who has been shaped by them. Qian brought them together with compassion and Yuan learned to love from him and for him.
